New chapter, more coffee and intense nerves, will Zoe call Luke today or leave him to sweat? hope you like it and please drop a comment ;D by the way "[" indicates a character's thoughts.

For the rest of that day Luke just kinda stayed in his appartment really. He was just so pre-occupied with Zoe that he couldn't think of anything else; her beauty, their similar interests, her beauty, her good nature, her beauty. The wolf's mind was ablaze with thoughts about what was taking so long, of course she wouldn't want to appear desperate by calling straight away but still this was rediculous. Having quickly consulted his watch, the penny dropped that the last time he saw her was only two and a half hours ago. It was so painful, he only spoke two words to her and he fealt as though he'd known her for months. He knew in his head that this strong love was irrational; he didn't know much about her, but that just fascinated him to no end. At that moment the phone rang. The sharp trill almost made the wolf jump into the roof, but no time for dwelling on the dull pain now, the phone was ringing. diving on the phone Luke quickly jabbed the accept call button on his worn out old phone (the thought of getting a new one had plaqued his mind for months but he just never seemed to have the time to into town any more.) "Hello?" Luke's voice was almost immediately met by a soft, nervous sound coming from the other end of the phone "hi." He could tell immediately it was Zoe simply by her voice, it was one of a kind and he loved it. Finally realising that his silence would be off putting, Luke spoke once more "Uh, hi Zoe, erm.. h..." The awkward babbling went on for a further few seconds before he heard a small giggle on the other end of the line "Are you always this cool?" Her sarcastic tone was meant to be mocking but he just laughed in return. "So, you wanna go out somewhere later or..." Luke was hopeful and fealt pretty good about his chances, she had called him after all. "Sure" was the only responce. "Great!" trying not to sound too enthusiastic, he simply asked what she wanted to do, giving her the choice must be a good idea ;D "i don't know, what do you want to do?" [Great. now what do I do? If i pick the wrong thing i could blow it before we've even started, wait, she said she liked coffee...] Picking up on this crucial idea, Luke put it across to Zoe, who gladly accepted and suggested the time of six pm which Luke gladly agreed was "a great time." (face paw) Luke hung up the phone and did a fist pump followed by a whisper of "yeah!" It was only two! what could possibly hold his attention for four hours when he was going to meat Zoe!? With a heavy sigh, he decided that video games always passed the time quickly. His XBox 360 flickered to life, but then Luke was met by a horrible site. Three strikes and you're out: the red ring of death had claimed his console when he needed it most. [Oh -sencored for about five minutes-] With another heavy sigh of frustration, he decided to just take a shower. Stripping down to nothing but his fur, he entered the now warm shower and only exited an hour later, it was too nice to leave any sooner than that. Stopping the warm flow of water, the sopping wet wolf reached for his towel (after shaking the excess water off of course) and left the bathroom. [cool, that killed two hours, still gutted about my XBox though, can't belive that idiot couldn't fix it (the XBox repair man xD)] Getting dressed and deciding that staying here was not a good idea, Luke left his appartment and departed on a very uneventful walk. Realising that he'd reached six and he was still a block away, Luke broke into a light jog. Upon arrival, the wolf met the eyes of that graceful kitsune sitting just inside the window. With a wide smile and nervous as hell, Luke entered the store, again mustering all his strengh not to sound like the babbling numb skull that he did on the phone...
