The Black Wolf-ch1

Story by YureiSakoor on SoFurry

My fursonas beginning that I'm trying to turn into a story.

(Where am I?)

My eyes fluttered open. It was dark, cold, and silent. Dead silent. What was I doing here? Where was here? I tried to remember what had lead up to this. What did happen? I tried to move my arms, just now realizing that they were shackled to the wall.

(Where the hell am I?!)

Dazed, confused, head pounding, and no idea what is going on. Great thing to suddenly wake up to. I kept straining my ears, hoping that if I could just hear one bit of noise I would be able to figure out something about my location. I knew deep down, though, it was pointless. I couldn't focus. People say silence is nothing, but it is torture. When you cannot see or anything, it's enough to drive a man insane. And trust me, I was almost there. If only my shackles had had chains. I would rattle them constantly. The worst part, however, was I had no idea how long I had been there. Just when I thought I was starting to relax, a bright flash struck me, followed by a cold voice.

"Ah the Black Wolf is finally awake."

(Black Wolf?)

"Who are you?!" I ordered, my voice sounding unfamiliar to me.

I was answered with laughter

"Where am I?" More laughter. "Answer me! NOW!"

Was it just me or were my hands glowing. Not like the way light does, but a black, shadowy aura.

"Sir. It's awake. Shall I begin the test?"

(Test?)

The shackles around my wrist popped open and a door could be heard. I don't know what to call the beast that walked in. Some sort of rabid animal. After letting out an ear piercing howl, the thing was running towards me. The creature lunged for my throat, but instinct kicked in and I smashed my foot into its jaw, shattering it. There it laid, dead. Again, the sound of a door and more foot steps. I concluded, by the looks of them, that they were security. The entire group, maybe fifteen or so, surrounded and began to converge on me. Noticing the black aura around me, I let natural reflex take over, launching an energy wave in every direction. I grabbed one of the guards' guns and ran out a hole my explosion had created. I still had no clue where I was, but with more of those beasts and security behind me, I could not have cared less. I just had to get out. Bullets continued to fly past my head.

(I must not be very important if they are willing to kill me instead of letting me go.)

Either that or I was expendable and easy to replace. That seemed to be more likely case. Before I knew it, after dodging them for the most part, they had me cornered. However, I was able to notice a small window down the hall. Smiling darkly, I vaulted over the crowd, ran, and crashed through the glass. Now I knew just how high up I actually was. /

(If I survive this, I'm going to find out who I am.)
