It comes yet again, the vessel to guide me.
I ride it yet again, every day without recourse.
The fee is quite steep, only costs one soul to ride.
Yet the boat is quite full, fully filled with countless others.
Every morning we board, every night we depart.
Only to ride along a thin river, separating the two plateaus.
One shore filled with flowers and happy thoughts.
Another filled with demons and unholy troughs.
The boatswain is Death himself, motivated by the unknown.
Perhaps the few that slip off and fall into the river, to be no more.
Or maybe to delegate some to disembark onto that hellish shore.
Regardless of the reason, he is always there, never late, never early.
Amidst the dangerous ride we partake in, yet another turmoil boils daily.
Arguments of many natures, disputes of pointless subjects.
Few more fall off, shoved and pushed by the foolish.
Why can they not see, that is just His wish.
So many of us board every day, almost none of us make it to the end.
So few of us see the truth, the distant shoreline.
Too focused on the dark visage of our boatswain,
Distracted from their own evils that grow from within.
Why is it so hard to see, the true nature of this ship.
The vessel to carry us back and forth, from day and night.
Is a test to see our true selves, where we find our identities.
A chance to become more, more than just a human being.
Transcending the boundaries between the shores.
Traveling the long river upstream until we reach safe haven.
To observe the conflicts, needless deaths and pain.
To be one in the distant future, a single entity.
The words "all for one, one for all" have never been truer.
Especially on this river where it rains sorrow.
Where cowards have no place but to die and wither.
For we have no seats left for such degenerative souls.
Not on this boat of life.
Another...ramble of sorts? Derived from the harsh, foolish communtiy I have to see every day in League of Legends as well as any other online community. Just wish everyone would see we have a common goal and just...be aware. In context, I want to win just as much as you do, you have no reason to talk smack to me or yell at me for mistakes that happened.
