She gingerly took the folded scarf from him, as not to catch his hands with her claws, and looped it up over her head, under her headplates, and looped it over her shoulder. Almost instantaneously her shoulders relaxed further, and she was closer to being back to her old self. "So I learned. The old man and I had a talk while you were sleeping...since I wasn't able to get more than fifteen minutes at a time..." She cleared her throat. "Enough talk of the past though, it's behind us...so...breakfast?"

"Yes! Foods! I've got this spread of styles that I will be showing you today. What I will be demonstrating is making an omelette, which is similar in concept to scrambled eggs, but with a major difference. The amount of milk. The next will be a soft boiled egg, which will come later, since I'll wait until later to get some more eggs. Speaking of which, Serena, what is it about their scent that allows you to know if the eggs are freshly laid?"

She was not, as of yet, capable of blushing, at least, she didn't think she was. "They...smell...like...well..." she tried to get the words out. "I don't know how to describe it? Kind of wet...a little like the scent of mating but only half of it?" she shrugged, and decided to head off the question before it was asked. "Yes, I have watched non-sentients mate, no, it wasn't on purpose, but it was overriding all of the other scents in the area, I wasn't going to catch anything anyway."

"I've watched non-sentients mate on purpose." Kyn said casually, not really thinking anything of it. He then tried to imagine what would leave that type of scent, and if he would even be able to pick it up with his limited sense of smell. He probably would be able to, since if there was one thing that was strong about his nose, it was the ability to be able to pick up bodily fluids when it came to things like that. "I haven't eaten an omelette in a while. If I had about two dozen eggs, I'd be able to make enough for everyone. But of course we've got three hunters and a Sceptile. So it'd just be convenience and luxury, not necessity."

Serena shrugged it off, at least until the bit about not having enough for everyone. "Oh. I could go grab some more? I only scoured maybe five trees for these." It was obvious she didn't have a sense of scale. "Don't want anyone to be left out after all, everyone treated fairly and all that."

"Actually, this is my request. Enough for each one of us to have at least five pieces is what I am aiming for. That'd be about oh... six more eggs." He was visualizing, and then came to another conclusion, "Erm... actually, a lot of birds are going to be annoyed. But, we need about six more eggs. Oh dear."

"That...shouldn't be too hard." She stretched. "be back in about five minutes...now that I can /run/ again." As if the clicking of her claws against the soil and rocks weren't enough of a clue, the fact that she was back to moving digit-grade would be another as she took off at a jog, which steadily increased up to a run, and she used the momentum to hop up into the trees, then back and forth against the trunks to the limbs. Ah she felt like she was flying~. As she came to the next tree of which she had yet to scour, she slowed, easily spotting the yellow of the dried grass of their nests among all the green. Up; she commanded her body, and up she went, raiding three nests to be on the safe side, rather than two, and while carrying these things, she couldn't exactly do a dive bomb, so she hopped down from branch to branch, the same way she had traversed the rest of the trees. It wasn't until she hit the canopy of the willow that she might have had a problem, but even that with some quick thinking, was avoided as she grabbed a hand full of vines and swung back to earth. "....and back."

"Ah yes, that should be enough. I'm glad there are at least some that can gather eggs from the above, since I personally would just be tempted to take the entire nest itself. Alright well, thank you for your assistance Serena, and now, everyone that wants any egg, please raise a pointing appendage." Kyn announced. Upon doing so, not many went up at first, but then it became apparent that the group hadn't really eaten that much since they had come here either. After a while Striker raised a blade, and Heji raised a paw.

Of course, Serena added her claw to the air, then shrugged. "Have to leave one or the birds think they've lost everything and swarm after you." she stretched and laid on her stomach close to the fire. "I do plan on giving Tensa the opportunity to try a Carnivine, if I can find one, probably around dinner time." she muttered, more to herself than Kyn. "Apparently some trainers find type consumption cannibalistic? Better to try it where he wont be judged."

"It's just that whole... sentimental value stuff. Like... it makes the whole, 'pet' aspect that I don't like. Alright so... now I'll basically just start." He then took his camping set out of his backpack and set up a cooking stand. "Been a while since I've done this. Forgive me if.... I mess up some of the eggs initially. That's another reason why I asked for extra." He placed the pan over the fire and waited for it to heat up, occasionally testing it with a small amount of egg at a time.

When it was hot enough that it sizzled as soon as he put it in, he poured the egg into the pan and spread it evenly by lifting the pan at various angles. After it was about halfway done, he rolled the egg into a rectangle, took it out of the pan an put it on a plate. "There's one...."

She watched with some level of fascination, but her eyes closed soon after to let him finish the task that had been set before him in peace. She wasn't asleep, but going over her hunting tactics in her head. If nothing else, she could keep refreshing Kyn's memory of hunting. "Tell me a story--I've told you as much as I can about my world, I think."

"Alright, I'll tell you... how I met Striker." Kyn cracked another egg and put it in the pan as well, repeating the process.

"While I was in the Kanto region, on my badge collecting journey, I was looking for a place to rest on the way to my next destination. I couldn't just sleep in a random field, so I wanted to set up somewhere else more sheltered. So I stumbled onto a cave entrance, that had once been used by humans. The electric lighting no longer worked, and there was a "Keep Out" sign placed there."

The second egg took a bit less time to cook than the first one, but it was still done properly. "Well, guess I haven't completely lost my ability to cook an egg it seems." He said with a chuckle.

"So it would seem..." She still had her arms crossed over one another, and her head resting upon it, but at least she was looking at his work now. "You're going to have to put size in perspective one of these days, you know, regions...well probably aren't on the same scale as they are here."

"A map then. You've shown me a map, so I'll have be able to show you one too. It'll more than likely be a paper map too since the other kind doesn't really have a sense of scale." He kept on cooking the eggs, until the first plate was filled. "So, after I entered the cave--"

"Without checking to see if there was any one currently making the territory their home." she added, chuckled and let him continue cooking, well, it was holding her interest, though her tail flicked only momentarily. She figured that all this cooking would eventually make them late, but she had strategically positioned herself ahead of schedule for just this reason, in case they ran over the allotted time.

"--I looked around to see how far it went, and it apparently went pretty deep. Of course, the main attraction was to explore this interesting cave, but I was stopped before I even managed to get more than fifty feet from the entrance."

"Well, as you can probably imagine, dear Striker had decided to claim the cave as his own. Of course he had no particular qualms about telling me about it. One of the first actions was to draw my swords. We engaged in a bit of swordplay, and eventually, he decided to stop, due to the fact that I kept dodging and blocking." Kyn then started up another batch of eggs after he finished that last part of his story.

"Swordplay?" her eyebrow ridge raised, of course, she had yet to see the swords, unlike the Patrat, speaking of... {Marlow, he came back with a Patrat, care to share what happened last night?}

"I told you that I have tools, Serena, since I don't have claws or razor sharp teeth. As for Striker... Unfortunately, his age must have gotten to him, and so he decided to give up. We talked for a bit, and eventually I recruited him, after several compelling arguments."

{Well, from what I observed, he wasn't LOOKING for the Patrat, he just happen to have gone through part of what must have been its territory. He was using the trees, and he lured it a specific place, after it began chasing him, or so it thought. He then used those swords to make it so that the Patrat would fall. It was at such a distance that relative to it, it had a long way down. Then of course, he snapped its neck and brought it back.}

She was quiet for a while as she listened to Marlow's statement, absentmindedly speaking aloud. "You used the surrounding to your advantage." She muttered to herself; she had sent Marlow after him, it was no secret, well, to anyone except Kyn himself, but she brought herself up to a sitting position.

"For future reference..." She had brought herself back to current times. "Stories are usually better if you elaborate on the fighting or discussions a bit." {Are you sure you're going to be okay out in the sun?}

"Mmyes, but I also have to watch these eggs carefully now. Perhaps Striker and I shall tell of the battle in detail later. Oh, and I also found out his name during that discussion too. Striker's name used to be Quickwing. After I found out his name, I asked him if he knew Swiftwind, another Scyther that I encountered. They happened to be member of the same clan, which I found out from him and Striker after he and I went back to the Pokémon Technical Institute."

{I am fine, as long as you are fine.} Marlow folded his arms together, and then floated closer to Serena, beginning to watch Kyn cook as well.

"Yes, I imagine you do." she listened for a little while longer, then poked at the full egg plates. "So, these are done?" She wanted to confirm before taking them over to the others, if he was going to do something else with them, she'd leave them there, but otherwise, she saw no reason for them to get cold while they spoke.

{I should be fine.} Her eyes traveled up to meet his blue one.

"Well, for the most part yes. I don't have to worry as much about presentation with Pokémon really, unless I'm working at a place like the Spinda Café, which I am not. So yes, they are ready for all intents and purposes."

"Well, I'd like to see one of your professional presentations sometime, at the very least. What about you Serena?" Marlow said. {When we were in the Café I could tell by looking at Kyn how much he was as much eating the food with his eyes, as with his mouth. Heh.}

Serena snorted {That statement is very odd, Marlow.} "It would be...interesting, yes." with the dismissal of the food, she picked up both plates, one in each claw, and delivered them to Striker and Heji in turn; she did not mind terribly about doing it, considering the fact that she did have something to say to each of them. To Striker it was a simple 'fixed', with a smile as she set it down before him--to the other it was more along the lines of 'Perhaps when we stop tomorrow we can hunt together?' However, she couldn't dally long, however, seeing as how she had left a conversation with Kyn to give them their food.

"Alright, so after we met Swiftwind, we went through the rest of the League together, which is one of the things that caused Striker to become additionally strong." Kyn said, once Serena returned, turning the eggs. This time, he rolled the eggs with chopsticks instead of folding them with a spatula. "Thought I'd give a round one to somebody. If it were cut, it'd look pretty interesting on a plate too."

"There's only me and you left to feed." she noted, but shrugged. She didn't exactly enjoy special treatment, considering the whole spiel about treating everyone equal, but then, rolling up the eggs instead of folding them wasn't really special, it just looked different. "The way you go on about this league of yours...they can't be very special if 10 year olds who pass a test can put them through their paces."

"Well, literally, no one I've met, was able to complete the League on their first time around. I was 11 when I did, but the way I did it.... was not the way most 11 year olds would. A lot of times, it's people who are a lot older. 15-16 that win the League. Though, meeting Tensa changed the way I battled too." He finished his own egg, and then waited for Serena to start eating hers.

"If you are honest with yourself, meeting Tensa changed a lot more than your battling style." she did take her plate on her lap, and cut bites with her claws, rather than just stuffing it in her mouth, she poked it with the point of a claw and popped that piece in her mouth.

"Well, yes, that is true." Kyn took the time to 'cut' the egg with his chopstick, before picking a piece up the normal way with both.

Heji, didn't really both to do anything extra, but instead just took small (for a Luxray) bites. Striker happen to be able to poke the end of his egg with the point of a blade, and work it into his mouth. He was able to make even cuts, though it barely made a difference other than looking neater, and Striker was very neat.

Serena tilted her head off to the side with a slight grin. "I wonder how Pokémon's lives change when they interact with humans, how they veer from their natural course...well, I know that I would be called crazy if I even mentioned this set up right here."

"Then you would probably benefit from meeting Professor Oak. He concentrates on Pokémon and human relationships as a living, and he'll probably enjoy answer questions from a Bagon such as yourself. Oh but there's also another thing. He was the creator of the very first Pokédex."

"That thing you keep pointing at me?" She snorted. "Not sure if I would enjoy meeting someone that goes by the name of a tree...Trees, while important, stand around and do nothing but grow. Has he ever actually DONE anything, that you know of, or does he simply...talk?" She licked the plate clean of the eggs, then set it back down on the ground.

"Yes. He has actually gone out into the field and interacted. He's also guest starred in several Pokémon contests. He does happen to talk a lot though but that's just part of being a popular Professor. When he's by himself and with his assistance he's a bit different. I also found out that when he was younger he was a bit of an artist, and in the present day he writes Pokémon Poetry. Ah, Serena, you get a clean plate award!" He said, air miming, holding a trophy and then presenting it to her.

She snorted at his actions. "Sorry? If you don't clean your plates around here you attract Durant...they're not the most fun Pokémon in the world to deal with." She explained, walking to grab her bag and toss it over both shoulders, letting the things shift just a bit inside. "Ready when you are."

"Regular ants are annoying as well... and alright!" Kyn cleaned out the pan, then packed their plates, and the stand, into the backpack waiting for the rest to finish. It didn't take long as Heji essentially finished it in two bites. Striker finished his in five. "Durant's enemy, that fire-anteater thing... what a helluva relationship. It's completely unbalanced."

"Heatmor? Yeah, a bit, but then you would think that Zangoose and Seviper would be unbalanced as well, yet they are evenly matched...depending on the pair. Evolution and adaptation, Kyn...I wouldn't know the move shadow claw had I not adapted."

"Pokémon Contests. That's another thing I'll have to talk to you about. Though you might not necessarily like the premise of them." He stood up, and then put his backpack around his back.

Serena blinked at him, then shook her head. "We can talk on the road, I suppose, since we have an extra point guard with us." she directed the comment at Marlow. "One of us can take a break and relax their instincts for a bit." She realized that she was the only one to have eaten at every meal offered, but shrugged it off as they took back up their positions. If they didn't need that many breaks, it would suit her schedule just fine. "We'll try something different today, if you need a break, hollerfor one, otherwise we'll go straight through until nightfall."

"Most of the time I've become accustomed to long days, and short nights. Striker does even more than I do. Probably has something to do with living in that cave for so bloody long." Kyn sighed, thinking about what else he'd be able to tell Serena, since now at least, he thought, that she was on her way back to being her old self.

"I suppose then, in comparison, I've been living a life of leisure, being able to do what I want, sleep for as long as I want, and waking only when my body told me to do something." She scratched at her chin absently, at least the itch to cut into her scales was gone.

"So...contests?" She had dropped to all fours to walk in the early morning light, warmth had yet to rise, and so the stagnant earthen temp was her source of heat, as was the food in her belly. She would still be visible even in the tall grass due to her coat color, but slithering like a lizard through the grass sounded good right about now, probably because she did not have her straw to keep her scales polished the way she would have preferred, perhaps the sand and prairie grass of Gambitville would provide a decent substitute.

"Well, I don't exactly know if you'd agree with the premise of them. They don't really serve any practical purpose other than to show off one's Pokémon. Sometimes they even train specific moves just for contests. Actually, that's one of the ways I created a move. It was a combination of two moves that later served to have actual practical use in combat. Tensa's Leaf Storm combined with Energy Ball." Kyn started to explain.

"To Show off..." she snorted. "well, I am nothing if not proud...showing off is...allowed." She thought about it, allowed wasn't the proper word. "Perhaps allowed isn't the right word...and combining things so that they work in other places as well...is considered clever. Perhaps I would enjoy contests, though I doubt that I would ever do it, perhaps watch, but not compete."

"Alright then. Perhaps eventually you will witness one. They happen all the time, and the main place of attraction for them is the place where I found Heji, Hearthome City." Kyn said. He was slightly surprised that Serena had actually decided that she might have an interest in them.

"Mmm, travel with you, in your world...I...don't think so. Too much time passes between here and there for me to think about traveling with you, I have obligations here...if there were a mission while I was away..." she sighed. "I probably will never be able to see one with that being the case."

"Then perhaps I will wait. If it takes a whole month or three months, I'll still be thinking about it." Kyn figured that she wouldn't be doing missions forever, and that there must be some point in time in which she would be free to go away from her world for extended periods of time. Though the time dilation could still be controlled so, that'd be another issue to bring up later.

Serena didn't doubt him. "I'm sure you will. I won't, you'll have to remind me." She flicked her tail behind her, didn't even stop while talking, she just kept slithering through the grass. "Between keeping track of things to do and hunting, and taking care of the Pidgeotto...Marlow you did make sure that it was fed for the duration of our trip, didn't you?"

Marlow tried to remember how much he had exactly prepared. "I believe that I was in a hurry, so I was not thinking properly, and only gave them enough for two days."

"Oh, I can relate to that Serena. Minus the hunting part completely though." Kyn said, nodding. It was also a little bit interesting watching Serena move like that.

She went quiet, and still, even. "Two...days? TWO DAYS? Marlow! We'll be gone for at least DOUBLE that. Two and a HALF days is one direction...NOT counting hunting time." She took a deep breath. "Okay, it's okay...it'll go hungry for a couple days, that wont kill it...hopefully..." she grumbled under her breath. "One little thing, I asked just one thing of you...make sure the bird got fed." Her motions, as she started to move again, were more violent, rougher even, but eventually she calmed back down, and they became more fluid, graceful even. "Life is full of trials, it would seem."

"Oh Marlow... Well, anyway, we're in a forest, about how far do we still have to go to get there from here?" Kyn asked, changing the subject again.

"We've got the Windswept woods to get through--and to get to the Humming Oasis, that's where we'll make camp and hunt from, and we can go into town from there, if you would like. It's all sand and prairie grass there, a couple outcroppings of trees here and there, it's EASY to get lost without landmarks." It, of course, was only after she said all this that she realized that he meant time. "We should be there by sundown, since we wont need to stop as often as I had allotted time for."

"Serena. I've decided randomly, to show you one of my swords." Kyn said, waiting to hear her response. He was sure that eventually they'd be seen so, he figured why not do it now and have it out of the way so that comments and questions wouldn't all be stacked together.

She might have paused at the random announcement, but if she did it was only for a split second before she said "Marlow, take point position, I'm going to fall back into the center for a bit." She didn't wait to see if it was done, but actually did just sidestep, so that when the rest of them kept walking, she would fall in beside Kyn almost without hesitation. When she did, she began walking again, pulling herself up to her hind feet to keep her at the same pace of everyone else.

"I didn't exactly mean now, but I suppose it would be better than flashing steel around in an area like that. So, regarding natural weapons and such... There are ways that we have adapted, and it involves toolmaking. If one considers intellect to be a natural weapon then of course the perspective changes. As it turns out, these swords have not drawn blood in a long time."

Serena let him talk, he seemed to do that a lot. "There are Pokémon who are better suited to fighting with their minds than they are their bodies, so yes, it does count." She ticked her head off to the side. "There is a Pokémon known as Samurott, that have developed swords that detach from their legs when they stand on their hind feet..." She looked at her claws. "Well, of course you wouldn't need to hunt, not with Heji being as capable as he is..."

"Of course I still need to hunt. Meat doesn't just fall from the sky, for when I want to cook something that has meat in it. Also, these swords aren't normal, I had them specially made." He finally took out the hilt of one of the swords, and held it in his hand.

"It does if you throw something at it, like a dragon pulse, or a lightning bolt." She chuckled, eying the hilt with interest, there was no point on it, so how could THAT be considered a sword? Well, she figured that he would answer without her asking.

"As for what I meant by specially made, what you see now is very deceptive." He then pushed the button on the side, and the three foot blade extended and locked into place.

She examined the blade, being a warrior she could spot weak points fairly easily. "It doesn't look stable, but against a non-sentient it would work well enough, I would think. Let's hope that we don't have another Sentient coming after us around Gambitville...and yes, it does happen." she rubbed a scar across her right arm, as if she knew from experience.

"You know, that does remind me. Perhaps I should bring my other swords here. They'd be much better for combat. When we get back... I think I'll go fetch them from my house." Kyn said, then he retracted the swords.

"So you're coming back then?" Wasn't it a little early to be deciding that? Still, her tail might have done something similar to wagging, and as soon as she realized it was happening, she stopped it, dropping back down to all fours with the presentation over. She excused herself and took back up the point position, going through Marlow's energy cloak to do so, so it looked like she had on a strange cape.

"I am." He chuckled. Next tool that he'd probably show her would have to be his hunting knife would would be his claw analog. The knife would probably look better in regards to sturdiness as well as practicality.

The day wore on, and Serena looked up to the sky at about 14:00 to see a storm front, the ground had given way to the soft sand, and the grass was short where it existed. Thunder could be heard in the distance, and she sighed, there would be a downpour soon, it would kill most chances for hunting tonight, but they could at least try. "If you have coverings suited for wet weather in there, you might want to put it on shortly, Kyn."

"I do not currently have my raincoat, or anything else equipped for that, or an umbr---... No one in my traveling party knows Sunny Day either to give us a dry area either, not even Inferno. I guess I'll have to rely on the cover of the trees for now." Kyn said, skipping over mentioning the umbrella. He'd seen some Pokémon using leaves as umbrellas but he doubted that they had that word for it here.

"Then we're all going to get very wet...hopefully we wont have to worry about lightning...but if we do...Marlow has charge beam, and of course Heji...I'm sure that you know how to charge your energy to the opposite so that it cancels the bolt out...right?" She had turned her eyes to Heji, which turned her head away from the road ahead, but she didn't mind, verifying that he could do that would assist should the need come to it, was more important to her. "A fire will likely be impossible tonight too, unless we somehow find a cave to rest in--it's not likely, given the terrain, but there's always hope of stumbling upon ruins beneath the sand."

"Ugh. This sucks Serena. Getting caught in the rain. Also! You're able to smell rain before it comes as well, right? Maybe there's a possibility of finding a large, old, rotting tree in this forest that is hollow enough for us to be in. Either that or maybe we'll be lucky/unlucky enough to stumble upon a tree house similar to the Rescuers." Kyn was running through multiple scenarios out loud again, trying to think of the most plausible way that they would be able to stay dry.

"Would you prefer to stop for the night -now- while we're still in sight of the trees? Since you seem to have an aversion to water that is. I mean, I don't like the cold, but really, I don't say that the blessing of rain to a desert, sucks." She paused, running her hands over her plates, the way he spoke made him seem like more and more of a hatchling to her, and with such improbable stories. She snorted, since they were stopped and waiting on the answer she verified where they were on the map. Rainstorms in a desert, like what was ahead of them, were rare, and a chance to cool down from the hot summer sounded like a good idea to her, but she was JUST the guide, she would stop if he wanted her to do so.

"I'd much rather we not take as much time stopping. I didn't let a raging sandstorm stop me from progressing back in Hoenn, nor Unova. I'll just have to deal with it. Serena, there is a bit of a connection between Normal-types, Fighting-types, and humans, do you know what that is?"

"Stubbornness." She answered, turning back around and starting to walk again, the sand was strangely comforting beneath her foreclaws and feet, though it did, of course, require more energy to move upon, and tried to make her sink.

"Hah! Most of them yeah, but it also has to do with the fact that... we named the moves after things that we can already do. They're just more empowered versions of it in most cases. Karate Chop, Low Kick, Megaton Kick, Brick Break, things lie that. When it came to Liru, I'm one of the few types of Trainers that actually trained themfirsthand. I think I remember seeing a dojo back in the village."

"You do, but if you recall, that's not what it's there for. The Pokémon that are inside, are training to learn how to evolve, they're not learning moves, they're not learning the weaknesses of other types...they're trying to become their adult selves as quickly as possible so that they don't have to worry about being eaten." She sighed. "You brought this up why?"

"Oops. Guess I lost track and went off on a tangent. The main thing I wanted to mention was that humans and Pokémon that art connected in that way, seem to have an easier time with battling. It definitely helped with Liru." He looked behind him quickly to spot the clouds in the distance. "Oh dear. Cumulonimbus. This storm will indeed be properly heavy."

"Here we have no reason to try to connect with things that don't exist. As far as most of the others here are concerned? You're a figment of a socially stunted imagination." She drew her eyes up to the storm, then to the sun which had begun to head downwards to the horizon behind them. "I think...well, I don't know, how long can you run at a given time, Kyn?" she lengthened the strides so each one was a bit of a leap, it splashed sand, but it wasn't like she wasn't getting covered in it already with the winds that were swirling around them.

"Depends at what speed. The most I've ran was for fifteen minutes straight, but that was a relatively slow pace. I've been able to run in fast strides for short bursts like a cheetah...Liepard? though. I'm no marathon runner." He said with a melancholy sigh.

She snorted as sand got in her nose, shaking her head. "We can't get to the oasis before the storm catches us, maybe half way, and then we'd have to find shelter." She muttered "I've had just about enough of this wind bringing me to a standstill though." She looked up, to where Marlow was likely still against her headplates. "Might be time to test our luck on those ruins, Marlow." The trees they had once been surrounded by were now dots against the horizon, not an optimal place to get stuck in the wind, especially if her instincts were right.

"Then lead the way. I will follow as best that I can. Keep in mind that I haven't ran that distance and time with my backpack so having this will slow me down significantly. Serena, go on ahead. There is more than a 98.99 percent chance that I will get wet, but that is how it goes sometimes." Kyn said, speaking from experience.

She shifted uncomfortably up onto her hind legs. "Alright, well, I'll try to make it as easy on you as possible...are you familiar with the dynamics of dragon rush, and the energy trail it leaves behind it?" Even as she spoke, the blue glow was starting to surround her. "It should be enough to break the wind and give you a bit more possible distance...Marlow...I'm probably going to have to ask you to go dormant."

"Personally Serena, I am not. No Dragons that we have encountered have used that move on us." He didn't exactly clarify why, but he figured that now was not the time to start spouting off explanations due to the rain, and that she may ask later.

"Then I suggest just staying behind me in close quarters, single file is better, but normally the energy is solid behind them, I however...make it hollow. The energy trail WILL try to close behind me, of course, so if you need me to stop, tell me before it gets too bad, or we'll ALL be in a bad way." As she spoke, she slipped Marlow's skull beneath her scarf, shielding the bones from the wind and eroding sand. When they were all in place, she started off, running and the energy spiraled behind her like a protective shell which arched upwards to cover the others behind her as well, and also dug into the ground, compressing the sand for better footing. The pace was a decent clip, certainly not the fastest that she could possibly run, but no where near the slowest either.

"One more question, if you were to go back to my world and evolve, and came back here... what exactly would happen with you since you didn't 'use' an evolution scroll?"

"Is now really the time to be asking hypothetical questions about my life in this world?" She answered, if a bit tartly, she was trying to keep them out of a storm for goodness sake. She flicked her tail behind her as she moved, even as the sky grew darker overhead, and the first drops sizzled against the barrier of energy. She kept it up for about half an hour, just as the rain ate away at the rest of the energy surrounding them, and hissed to herself as she--within moments, was soaked through the scales, and the rain fell off of her form in streams.

"Storms, they're a pain in my tail...thankfully, we're at the entrance to the ruins..." she shifted her foot around in the muck that used to be sand to reveal the sandstone 'door', just waiting to be propped open, which she did (after two rather embarrassing attempts, which she mentally blamed on slick claws. "Inside, quickly." she sputtered, rain trying to drip into her mouth, and down her chin.

"How about now then?" Kyn said, after going inside and wiping some of the moisture from himself. It was comedic at times when Tensa would shake himself off like an animalistic Pokémon would, still showing of course that he WAS a Pokémon, but he mostly used a towel and such nowadays.
