Prot and his team entered the abandoned spaceship, "Alright everyone, be very careful. This ship is falling apart and if you take one wrong step you'll fall into space and we won't be able to save you, do you all hear me?" He heard a resounding confirmation, "Okay everybody you know where your posts are; get going!"

As each of his crew members walked away from him Prot froze as he felt a pair of firm hands massage his back carefully, "Honey you'd better be careful, you know that if you get too stressed you tend to get angry at the crew."

Prot took a deep breath while nervously flicking his furred tail and nodded, "you're right Dro, but it's just so hard when I know that if anyone messes up that this spaceship could explode with us in it." Prot was turned around and he found himself looking at the scaly face of his boyfriend who looked at him kindly.

"Honey, we'll be alright. This whole mission will take an hour, once we're done you and I can have some us time..." Dro kissed him gently before pushing him playfully, "Now go get help your team, they'll need you captain." Prot waved to his lizard boyfriend and walked down his designated hallway, Dro chuckled as he went to his own post and put on a headset while taking on a serious look as he pulled holographic maps in front of himself. "Alright everyone, now while we're in this ship not only are we going to be destroying this ship we will be finding out what happened to the inhabitants of this ship."

Zex rolled her eyes as she walked down a dark hallway with her co-worker Jorner, "Good grief, you think we don't know that?..." She muttered to herself as she came to a door and unlocked it with her decoder.

Jorner looked at his fox partner, "Are you alright Zex? You usually aren't this testy, even when you're having your peri..." The lemur was quieted as his friend smacked him before continuing on with her decoding, "I'll be quiet now..."

The fox grinned as the door slid open, "There, now come on Jorner. It won't take that long to figure out what happened here, the crew quarters always have a camera in them." The pair slipped into the eerily silent room, they held out their stun guns in front of them just in case any hostiles were in the area.

Jorner looked around the room his eyes getting used to the dark as his ears flicked quickly, "I found the camera Zex." He spoke flinching as he broke the silence, Zex looked at him and followed his gaze. She nodded as she saw the camera and walked over to the small machine, the fox attached a small cord from her suit to the machine and started to download its data.

Dro's voice filled her helmet, "Good job Zex, the footage is being downloaded right to my computer. When you two are finished up I want you to look around the quarters to see if you can find any survivors, alright?" Zex mockingly mimicked him talking by flapping her jaws, "Zex, you do know that you have a camera in your helmet right?"

Zex coughed, "I... I have no idea what you mean Dro, we'll get on it right away." Before Dro could start talking again the download finished and the vixen cut off their connection, "Oh thank god I can't hear him anymore, alright Jorner lets finish this up. I have some shows on RedFlix to watch when we get back." As the pair walked out of the room a shadowy figure walked out of the closet with a smile on his face.

Traymris yawned as he walked around debris, "Good grief this mission couldn't be any more boring, I think that earth command just sends us on these missions just to get us out of their hair..." The coyote flicked his suited tail lazily as he hopped over a table.

His partner and boyfriend a lion by the name of Connor hopped over the table and rolled his eye, "Hun, do you really have to have to be so down on these missions? Aren't you in the least excited about what happened to these poor furs?"

The coyote looked at his boyfriend with a bland expression, "I would if we hadn't been sent to the mess hall, seriously Con do you think anything happened in the mess hall of interest?" The coyote put his hands up in mock horror, "Oh no, the freeze dried ice cream is melting. Someone oh somebody please help us!"

Conner had to surpress a giggle, "Let's just finish up this mission sweetie, then you and I can eat a nice steak together. Doesn't that sound good?" Traymris nodded dreamily as he imagined a candlelit dinner, as the pair came to the door of the mess hall they slowly opened up the door with their guns held out per regulation.

Traymris peered inside of the room for a moment, "Alright it's clear." The duo walked into the kitchen and looked around, other than the lights being out nothing looked out of place in the room. "Oh look Dro; nothing is wrong with the mess hall. Like I told you a thousand times." The coyote said as he holstered his stun gun.

Dro back in their ship rolled his eyes, "Cut the snarkiness Tray, just get the camera data and you can come back."

But before Traymris could answer he was shocked to find his helmet being lifted off by Conner, "Honey, what are you doing?"

Conner shot his boyfriend his usual flirty smile, "I know I'm usually the stickler for rules in this relationship Tray, but I think this is the perfect place for a candlelit dinner. Don't you?"

Traymris smiled and nodded, the couple embraced one another as they kissed not noticing a few figures coming out of the kitchen.

Prot carefully surveyed his surroundings; the ship was obviously in disrepair but from what he couldn't tell. The German Shepard flicked his ears every few seconds as the creaks of the ship could be heard echoing, "This place looks like my house after my dad came home drunk..." He muttered to himself, his microphone was shut off for the time being as he didn't want to be distracted by getting into a conversation with Dro.

As he approached the cockpit of the ship he looked around to see that the banks of computers to his sides were all shut off, "Looks like someone may of wiped these computers already... but who?" Prot jumped as a piece of metal fell from the roof, "Damn, we're going to have to get out of here quickly. This place is falling to shit..."

The cockpit's door was wide open as Prot approached it, "Looks like somebody used the sliding function override..." The dog muttered to himself as he walked into the small room, as he approached the pilot's seat he didn't notice the small puddle of black liquid leaking out from a vent. Prot activated his microphone, "Dro, can you run a data scan from my suit? I don't see any spot for me to plug into."

He heard clicking from the lizard's side, "Yes, just give me a moment Prot... " The sound of rapid clicking filled Prot's helmet, after a moment he heard his boyfriend's voice once more. "Alright, done. I have all of the date I need, start typing up the destruct code into the ship Prot."

Prot nodded and took a seat in the pilot's seat, he quickly ran a boot-up program in the computer and the screen flashed to life. He started to rapidly type in a code that he had taken a long time to learn.

Dro sipped a drink as he waited for the video data from the camera to be decrypted, as he waited his eyes brushed over each of the monitors as he watched the rest of his team. Jorner and Zex were walking down a hall close to each other; he could tell that Zex was her usual pompous self as she spoke wordlessly to her partner. Jorner the new kid looked like he was ready to jump out of his suit as the pair walked down the halls.

The lizard rolled his eyes as he saw Traymris and Conner eating food in the mess hall, "Is this really the time to be eating guys?..." He smiled as he saw them share a quick kiss as they spoke, "I guess I can give them this once..."

The last monitor depicted his boyfriend, "Prot... please be safe, I couldn't imagine what I would do if I were to lose you..." He muttered as his eyes narrowed in sadness, he jumped as the ping of a download being done. Dro glanced at the monitor, "Ah good, now let's see what happened..."

As he watched the video his mouth slowly slid down in horror, "Oh my god... I need to warn the others right now!" He jumped up from his chair and pulled on a suit and grabbed a gun, he ran out of the ship quickly leaving the video to loop.

One moment Jorner was with Zex the next he had been separated, the lemur was the greenest out of the bunch so he got nervous quickly. "Z... Zex?" He called out, when he didn't hear his partner's voice he panicked and started to walk quickly in a random direction. "Zex! Come on out, we shouldn't get separated!" As the Lemur ran through the darkness he gasped as he realized that he was back in the crew quarters, "Damn it... I got completely turned around..."

As the rookie turned around he gasped as he bumped into a shape, "What the fuck?" Jorner bounced a few steps back and glared at who he thought was Zex but was shocked to see that it was an odd wolf, the wolf's skin was made of an odd glossy black material which was covered in green lines. "O... oh are you a survivor? What's up with your skin?..." As his eyes moved up to the wolf's head he noticed that the eyes were pure green as well, "A... and your eyes..."

The wolf smiled showing off obsidian black teeth, "You will be perfect to become part of the system." Jorner started to question what the wolf meant but was shocked as the Wolf stepped up to him and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck then pulling off his helmet, "Open your mouth now." The wolf's voice was monotone as he spoke as if he were a robot, as Jorner opened up his mouth to ask what was happening his eyes widened in surprise as the wolf kissed him on the lips.

An odd tasting liquid floated from the wolf's mouth into his own and down his stomach, after a moment of the liquid flowing down Jorner was let go of and the wolf stepped back. "Welcome to the system Lemur." The wolf turned around and walked off, Jorner opened his mouth to call for the robot but moaned as he felt his stomach painfully rumble.

Jorner pulled off his suit, "What did that wolf do to me?" He asked fearfully as he watched his fur start to change into the same glossy black material, "W... what am I becoming?" The black liquid seemed to decompose his clothing as it crawled over his body, neat blue lines started to imprint themselves upon his changing skin. He glanced behind to see that his tail was being changed into a digital like mockery of what his old tail was like, "W... what am I becoming?"

A voice answered him, "You are becoming part of the system."

The lemur jumped and looked around, "W... where are you?!" For a moment there was only silent as his body changed ever more, his body seemed to become more toned as the transformation changed more of his body.

The voice once more answered, "I am in you, I am the system. Your father who will lead you into the new world of servitude."

Jorner ground his teeth together, "Are you sick in the head or something?! I will never become a servant!"

Slowly over the lemur's head the black liquid covered him, all that was left unchanged was his eyes. "Don't you worry my son, realize that being organic is disgusting. The world of binary and technology is where you belong, imagine being with all of your brothers."

The lemur froze as an unbidden image of male animals of all types were surrounding him, "B... but what about sisters... f... father?"

The voice was quiet but Jorner felt an odd sense of rage, "Females are not accounted for in binary, never think about them again alright son? Just let the concept of female be forever gone."

Jorner blinked a few times as blue crept into his eyes, "Y... yes father..." His voice was becoming technological as he changed.

The voice spoke into him once more sending a shiver through his spine as he felt data being installed inside of his brain, "Now son, become one with the system. You are my son lemur, you are one with the system and you shall never question me again."

Lemur felt at peace as he was connected to the system with the rest of his brothers, "Yes father."

Zex sighed in frustration as she looked for the rookie, "Damn it Jorner why did you have to get lost?..." She smiled as she saw the lemur's shadow against a wall, "Oh there you are, come on Jorner. We have to get back before this shithole explodes." But as she turned the corner she was shocked to see that Jorner was different, "J... Jorner?"

The lemur looked at her and looked over her body in confusion, "You are odd, I shall change that. Prepare to become part of the system."

Zex panicked as he approached her, "J... Jorner you'd better leave me alone... something's wrong with you!" The vixen held her gun out nervously, "S... stop!" As he touched her shoulders Zex gasped in shock as she accidentally shot herself with her stun gun, her world went black as her helmet was pulled off of her head.

Conner and Traymris finished up their dinner and stood up, "Alright, it's time to get going. Come on Conner." Traymris said as he pulled on his helmet, his boyfriend looked embarrassed. "What is it honey?..."

Conner chuckled, "Um... I kinda have to go the bathroom."

Traymris sighed, "Good grief, just go to the bathroom here. I'll meet you further down the hall when you're done, okay?"

The lion nodded and Traymris left the mess hall, as he walked down the hallway he licked his lips happily. "God did I get the best cook for a boyfriend..." He muttered happily, as the coyote reached the end of the hall he turned around expecting to see Conner but was surprised to see that there was nobody there. "Huh... Conner?" He called out, after a moment of silence he moaned. "Really, a number two? Fine, I guess I'll just have to see you back at the ship..."

As he turned around he bumped into a muscular shape, "What the fuck?..." He looked up and saw a familiar face though it was different, "C... Conner?" Conner's body was now black with yellow lines traveling over his muscular body, Traymris tried to say something but Conner stepped closer and smiled and started to speak in an electronic voice.

"Coyote, you are perfect for the System. Join me honey." He pulled off his boyfriend's helmet and threw it to the side; the lion then embraced the coyote and kissed him deeply. Traymris' eye's fluttered as brown lines started to travel over his body and a new voice invaded his head.

"Hello Tray, welcome to the system."

Prot pressed the last of the buttons in the sequence and jumped out of the seat as a voice filled the air, "Self Destruct mechanism activated, please evacuate." Prot started to sprint out of the cabin and gasped as he bumped into someone.

As he landed on his tail he gasped in pain, "Ouch!" Prot looked up hastily and sighed in relief as he saw Dro standing there panting, "Oh Dro, what's happening?"

His boyfriend helped him up quickly, "It's the computer for the ship honey; it's taken over the ship's inhabitants!"

Prot blinked a few times, "Wait a minute, run that by me again?" His boyfriend sighed and grabbed him by his hand and started to run.

"The workers on this ship gave the computer an AI so they wouldn't have to look after the labs on the lower decks while they slept, at first the computer ran as it should and took care of the experiments. But after a while it learned how to manipulate the liquids using a special electronic charge and started to use the liquids to take over the ship's inhabitants, slowly everyone in the ship became a servant to the computer." Dro explained quickly as they ran down the tight corridors.

Prot stopped his boyfriend and turned him around, "How do you know this honey?!"

Dro pulled out a small tablet which showed the video from the main computer, "From the data that I took from the cameras I was able to gather information from the ship's camera grid and I watched the whole thing in fast forward."

Prot gasped as he realized the others were still separate from them, "What about the others Dro?!"

The lizard sighed sadly and shook his head, "I couldn't save them, I used the cameras to watch as they all changed into the computer's servants."

The German Shepard had to bite back tears, "Damn it..." Dro likely took his boyfriend's hand and the pair started to run through the ship once more, as they saw the ship's entrance they sighed in relief. But as they were about to make it Prot was grabbed by a red lined hand, he fell back and gasped as he looked into a male fox's face.

"Hello captain you shall be joining the system, prepare yourself." For a moment Prot didn't recognize the fox but he then realized who it was.

"Z... Zex?! Is that you?! What's happened to you, you're a woman." The fox cocked his head as his ears flicked trying to comprehend the idea.

"I'm sorry captain but I don't know what a woman is, please be quiet as I bring you into the system." But before the fox could do anything he was rammed into by Dro, Prot stood up quickly and ran to help his boyfriend but was stopped by Dro glaring at him as he was surrounded by their crew mates.

"Go now Prot! You can't save me, please just go honey!" Tears ran down the lizard's face as he was grabbed by Conner and held up to be kissed by Traymris, he looked pleadingly at Prot to run as the dog watched as his boyfriend's throat slightly engorge as liquid ran down it.

Prot clenched his teeth as he made himself turn and run into the ship, he then slammed his hand on the close shudders button and watched as his boyfriend slowly grow black liquid over himself with white lines.

Dro tried to hold off from being corrupted for as long as he could but once the system started to talk to him it was like a sledgehammer to his brain, "Lizard don't you want to join your brothers in this pleasure? Being a part of the system truly is a wonderful thing, just ask your brothers." As Dro's eyes started to fill up with white he gasped quietly as he looked at each of his friends... his brothers embrace him.

Lizard straightened up with a smile as his scaled body finished changing, "Thank you father, I'm glad to be a part of the system. It's very sad about Dog though, I wish he could've joined with us though."

His father's voice came into his head once more sounding smug, "Oh don't you worry Lizard; Dog will be joining you very shortly."

Prot piloted his ship away from the spaceship, "Just a minute until the ship explodes..." He muttered to himself sadly, he brought up an image of the spaceship and slowly counted down until explosion in his head. "Three... two... one..." But as the dog prepared himself for the explosion he was shocked to find nothing happening, "W... what?!"

A voice came from inside the cabin, "Father stopped the ship from exploding, he can easily do so since he's a part of the computer you see Dog." Prot froze as he looked up to see a wolf standing over him with a smile on his face, "Welcome to the system Dog."
