New Beginnings and Dead Ends Part 4 : Familiar Face
It was about another few minutes and the masked fur woke up and streched. "how far are we?" "another 100 miles out." "alright, you can sleep if you want." "nah, i'll stay up with you both plus we need to let him know of whats to come." The masked fur nodded and started to pull something out of his bag which he was cuddling all the while he was asleep. It was a vile of somekind."wait. what is that?" "something to help you later I would get confy if I were you." he pulled out a long needle tube and a package with a fresh needle packed inside before he quickly put it together he noticed me staring then asked, "we can do this one of two ways. one my man Jacob over there can hold you down or I could shoot you with a dart. which do you choose?" "first option. I can take a needle." "Oh trust me its not the needle you have to worry about its the medication its as thick as lead and cold as ice but its one hella stamina boost if you dont pass out or go into shock. it'll take about another 18 hours to take full affect. So, you still want it the old fashioned way?" "Yeah." "Jacob do your thing." he held my arms down like not even chains could at the same time he ballanced all his weight to his knees which were on my feet. "here... we... go."
[1 hour and only 4/5 the tube down] The masked fur was still squezing the opposite arm than the one he shoved the 4 inch needle into and masssaged it up and down till the needle finaly emptied the last of its practically solid contents. "alright now stand up and move very slowly to the back of the van and back." I completed the task slowly when I got back to him he said, "hows it feel." "like I gained 200 lbs." "It will drain through your urinal tract just as thick but when you finaly get it all out youl feel better. Also helps if you sleep as much as posible." "Thanks for the help." "dont mention it Shepherd" "how do you know my name?" "I work for the government plus a freind of yours suggested you first before anyone else for this project." "who is it?" "trust me youll know when you see him." The masked fur said.
We finaly slowed down to a halt I heard yelling in another language before we headed forward again. Another ten minutes the van stopped and I heard the drivers side door open then some one oppened the door and waved us out. We did so with me last from the slight line we made for watever reason. We walked till we reached a huge spiked gate that slowly opened creaking under its own wieght. Jacob then whispered something to the masked fur and walked back to the van before it left nothing but a black streak and screaming tires. We continued forward till we made it to a room which the masked fur had to swipe his card to enter as the door opened he walked to the next door and swiped the card making the first door close. He took off his mask ever so slowly to reveal a familiar face.
