David looked into the air behind him which he only saw the one flying enemy.

"There's only one, where's the other?"

"Inside it, now go already before they disrupt my focus."

Zerato commanded, David nodded and started running in the enemies direction and began chanting.

"I call upon the bird of rebirth, the prince of flames!"

He jumped as soon as he was finished and from his staff shot out a dark orange flame which rounded back taking the form of a Phoenix, he landed on its back and was already bolting towards the supposed two enemies. The Phoenix's body took it's blazing form becoming a fire bullet as it's speed increased quickly. The Hyena smirked noticing David charging at them.

"Zerato is good, noticing us so quickly while focusing on the large group ahead."

Aaronn's core started to pulse and didn't move as David got closer, then a sudden short flash happened and the Paradom's reflecting mirror popped up. The Phoenix's blaze form crashed into the mirror but still pressed forwards, David unsheathed his sword and stabbed at the mirror in his attempt to crack it. The Hyena climbed out and stood ontop of the Aaronn's Paradom form and pointed her index and middle finger at David, a small white ball of magic formed at the tip of her fingers. The Phoenix screeched and added more force pushing the two back, David's sword seemed to pulsate a lighter orange and red, the Hyena girl stood firmly and chuckled.

"Nice try, David."

She shot the white ball at David and as it came in contact with the flames it exploded the wind of the explosion blew off the Hyena's hood revealing her hoop earrings, snakebites on her bottom lip and nosering, her brown mohawk was dyed a hotpink and she has soft brown eyes. Both David and the Phoenix rocketed down to the ground, as the Paradom's mirror cracked and disintegrated, Aaronn's core stopped pulsating and he hummed.

"Huh.. that's pretty good, he managed to break the reflector."

The Hyena nodded as she watched the stream of fire crash into the ground, Storm rushed over to David's crashsite leaving Zerato alone.

"David!"

"One more should do it.."

Mumbled the Hyena as she pointed her fingers down to where David crashed, but then she paused noticing Storm running to him.

"Tch.. Storm's getting in the way."

From the front of the Paradom, a small laser formed, already charging up pure magic, gathering it into the cannon, he aimed it at the busy Zerato and the Hyena chuckled.

"Cheapshot.."

"Who cares, we need him dead."

From under Zerato's cloak, a Raven crawled out and started cawing as it looked at the gathering magic from behind.

"I know Abyss, so could you go get the Cat? We're gonna need his help too."

Abyss flew off his shoulder and went to the cave, his Chaos magic started flowing immensly around him as he could see the army of enemies approach. He gave a shadowy grin and mumbled.

"Chaos End..."

The once large ball of chaos magic started to quickly shrink as he fired it off, it traveled quickly into the oncoming army, the enemies that saw it coming easily moved out of its way. Zerato chuckled at their failed attempt of avoiding his attack, its pace slowed as it got down to the size of a marble then imploded, completely erasing everything caught in its radius. A violent wind blew knocking over the unsuspecting Ryan off his feet, but Zerato remained standing firmly on the ground. He grinned at the results of his skill, all that was left behind was a massive cloud of dust, he slowly turned to the other enemies that David failed to attack.

"Really seems that I have to do everything for that child.."

Zerato mumbled, Ryan got back onto his feet and walked to David who was being blocked off by his Phoenix. The Phoenix screeched at the unknown person and took its blazing form to protect David, Ryan backed up a bit being careful.

"I'm not here to hurt David, I just want to see if he's ok.."

The Phoenix didn't seem to trust the person and took a step closer, Ryan's ears pinned back and he whined but then notice David sitting up and groaning.

"Ahhhh! That hurt!!"

"David?!"

Ryan's tail wagged happily, hearing that he's still alive and moving. David peered through the Phoenix's legs and gave a half smile, the Phoenix stepped back returning to David and taking its normal form to nuzzle David protectively.

"Hey Ryan, I'm alright."

David slowly stood up and pet the Phoenix, he then gripped his sword tightly and Ryan smiled nodding.

"Just be careful, the black one can transform into almost any monster and use their abilities, the Hyena uses explosive magic and a pistol..."

David nodded, Storm felt a bit bad for betraying his allies in a sense.

"Thanks for the info, Ryan."

The sword resumed pulsing a light orange and red, the Phoenix seemed to get absorbed into the blade causing it to emit a strong heat. David rose the blade above his head and swung it down vertically, launching a large crecent wave of Phoenix fire, the screech of the Phoenix echoed as it was released. Another magic could be felt and Ryan looked over to Zerato, his paw was glowing with Chaos magic and his swiped it vertically and mumbled.

"Dimension Shatter.."

The sound of glass shattering echoed but nothing was seen, the firey crescent took the shapein of the Phoenix but it collided with an unknown force, caused the magics to fuse turning the fire a dark purple and spreading it.

"Shit, that's not good. Cover me Aaronn!"

The Hyena yelped as she jumped back inside of the Paradom, the lasor cannon had a bright blue light emitting from it. Aaronn shot the pure magic beam into the combined attack, it seemed to be on equal in power for a moment, but not wanting to fail his mission Storm moved closer to David, his ears pinning back.

"Ryan, stay back, this is dangerous."

"....."

"Ryan, move!"

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you hurt my friends..."

Storm bit his finger and used some of his blood magic, making a hundred small blood needles and stabbing them all along David's arm. David yelped and loosened his grip on his sword, which broke his concentration causing the Pure magic beam to conqure the combined magic of Chaos and Phoenix. It ripped through, rapidly reaching towards Zerato who didn't move and still seemed calm. At the last moment the Hyena and Aaronn saw a yellow line before the beam came in contact with the ground, exploding, creating yet another large crater.

"Zerato, you're an idiot. I don't care how much of that you had planned."

Scolded the male, Zerato pushed out of his arms and dusted himself off as he chuckled then looked at the male.

"Even if I did get hit, my near death would have given the Chaos magic a large opening to take over and keep me alive that way. Course, I wouldn't be your ally anymore if it did happen, but the enemy would be killed."

"We don't need you dying this early, Zerato.."

"Just go and help David, he needs it."

Abyss returned, flying to Zerato's shoulder and cawed. Zerato stared at the enemy still up in the sky blankly, then sighed deeply.

"What took you so long Abyss?"

There was silence between the two then Zerato nodded.

"Typical cat.."

The cat approached David cautiously, he saw a figure standing beside David then it disappeared.

"David! Are you alright?"

David growled, blood dripped down his arm as there were not only Storms blood, but his own and he nodded.

"That fucking traitor... I knew I shouldn't have trusted him.."

The cat tilted his head in confusion.

"Traitor? I don't remember there being anyone else on our team."

"Someone else from the clan came into the cave while you were asleep, Zerato told me to heal him so I did even though I didn't like the idea. Then he attacked me when I was trying to get rid of the enemy up there." David pointed to the Paradom which started to fly away, the cat watched it carefully and twitched his ear.

"A Paradom..?"

"It's not a real one, it's a shapeshifter according to Ryan and there was a Hyena girl inside it too."

The cat nodded then looked back to his arm.

"Is your arm going to be ok?"

David winced but nodded as he tried to move his arm.

"It's just numb right now.. can't move it but I can still walk."

"Alright.. we'll go back inside so you can heal yourself up and rest a bit then we'll get moving again."

Zerato growled softly and walked back into the cave after seeing the enemy leave, the cat bent over to pick up David's sword but was quickly burned, causing him to let go of it quickly.

"Ffff ahh, son of a.. what the hell?"

David chuckled softly.

"Only I can pick them up without getting burned since I formed the pact with the Phoenix, sorry I didn't tell you that."

"Oh, you did tell me. Last night, I just forgot, but I don't want to leave it out here."

"It's fine, I got it."

David closed his eyes then 3 mini fire birds spawned ontop of the blade, they began carrying it with their talons and flew beside David.

"Nice, now lets get inside."

The cat started for the door with David close behind, Storm was standing ontop of a broken rock pillar with his cloak on watching the group then turned away and disappeared, reappearing with his allies near a gathering or rocks.

"Thanks a lot Storm, you fucked up my opportunity to finish off that David kid."

"Yea, but at least we got to see what he was capable of and, if I'll just remind you, I was right that he's weak."

"Ya ya, whatever...but Zerato.. he'll be a problem. You saw the size of that implosion right?"

Storm just remained silent and looked at his blood stained paw.

"Fuck..."

He mumbled, the Hyena peered over to Storm and noticed the blood.

"Nice, you managed to get David. How bad is the wound?"

"I didn't cut him.. I couldn't.. I just numbed his left arm with blood needles."

The Hyena snorted and crossed her arms.

"What kind of Assassin CAN'T kill or severly wound their target when they're that close? You're really pathetic y'know that? Can't call yourself an Assassin if you hesitate to kill.."

She shook her head and sighed, Storm growled loudly and got up quickly. Stepping into the Hyena and pressing one of his hidden daggers against her stomach, her heart raced for a moment.

"Watch your mouth bitch.."

He moved off her and retracted the blade and stalked off, walking away from the two. She placed her paw where Storm pressed the dagger then growled softly, Aaronn only shook his head and sighed.

"You two.."

Aaronn looked over the sun filled land, taking his normal form, a crow stood there with midnight black feathers and red eyes.

"We got a taste of two out of three.. Druk shouldn't be too much trouble. Just keeping it a long distance fight is what will be a challenge.."

"What was he.. a captain right?"

The Hyena asked, Aaronn nodded.

"But only of a squad so not the best, but definetly has talent. So let's rest for now, we still have the rest of the day ahead of us to complete our mission."

The crow stepped on a stone and passage revealed leading underground, the Hyena was first to enter then the Crow, but he stopped and looked to Storm.

"C'mon, we need to rest."

"I'm fine..."

He said softly and sat there, watching the clouds go by.
