PMD: Ventures of Beyond CH:1
#3 of Ventures of Beyond
Took me longer than I wanted but I finally got it finished. I hope you enjoy the chapter but if you don't then some constructive criticism doesn't hurt.
As nice as it would be I do not own pokemon. I did however create the characters and the written story below. Please ask for permission before using any characters in this story.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Ventures of Beyond
CH: 1
"Hey? Wake up little kit!" A male voice commanded with natural authority.
Shiro tried to open his eyes but he felt so weak he couldn't move even the slightest.
"It's no use Royce he's too tired to respond." Another male voice said "Our best bet is to take him to the guild and hope someone gets him there."
"If anything, Ninetales will be able to help him better than we can." A female voice said
"....OK Leon Keep him warm, Zola go ahead and tell Ninetales the situation. I'll go back into the river to see if we have any other floaters." said the first voice
"Yes sir." The second voice responded
"Consider it done Royce." The female said.
Shiro felt his body warming up as he was placed on something warm and soft. After that he quickly drifted off to sleep.

Shiro woke up in a soft nest it was softer than the ones he usually slept on 'Maybe mommy found something extra soft to sleep on yesterday' he thought as he opened his eyes and realized to his shock and horror that this wasn't his home.
He was in some kind of den but there appeared to be no way out. 'Where am I?' He pawed at the wall all around the den and found that a small part of it was opened like a flap.
Curiously he pawed at the flap thinking 'This is a big leaf' before getting bored and slipping through the flap into a much bigger den. There were pokemon everywhere in the bigger den. He didn't recognize any of them and it frightened him. He started backing towards the den he just left when something ran into him making him tumble over and yelp in surprise.
The other pokemon in the room stopped what they were doing glancing in Shiro's direction.
"Look where you're going you little brat." A young female voice said angrily.
Shiro got back up to see who it was who ran into him, what he saw was a red fox pokemon that had 5 tales. "I-I'm sorry he mumbled" dipping his head.
"Whatever" the female fox pokemon said rolling her eyes and continued on her way mumbling what Shiro thought sounded like "Weirdo"
"Your awake! Finally" a familiar voice said
Shiro turned to find an unfamiliar pokemon that had to be a bird of some kind.
"I'm Royce Follow me and we can go somewhere quiet to talk. I'm sure you must be hungry too." The bird pokemon said leading Shiro to a new part of the den.
"I'm sure you have questions to ask me so I will answer as best as I can, but I have some for you as well." Royce said once Shiro was settled. He placed a wooden object with berries inside in front of Shiro.
"What kind of pokemon are you?" Shiro asked sniffing the berries.
"I'm an Empoleon" Royce said "How did you end up in the river?"
Shiro explained that he was with his mother when he felt the ground shake him into the lake that was part of his mother's territory.
It wasn't much longer before Royce realized how much Shiro lacked in knowledge of the world. Then Royce spent the rest of the day introducing Shiro to other pokemon so he could understand a little better.
That night Royce took Shiro to meet the Guildmaster. When he went through the door to the Guildmaster's quarters he was surprised to find a familiar face, one that wasn't too pleased to see him at all....
