This is the finale to Season 1 of the Costume Poké series.

After tensions building in the Costume Poké, it's finally hit the boiling point.

Thank you to my stream viewers for helping me out with picking the Pokémon costume.

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all think of this. ^^

Dorom leaned on the counter of his store, the Costume Poke with a bored look on his face. As of late the amount of customers had thinned out, at first he had blamed Charge and had stopped feeding him for a while to entice him to work better but it was obvious that it wasn't the Jolteon's fault.

The inhabitants of the town had put up a curfew to prevent kids and teenagers from leaving their house after nine P.M, at first Dorom hadn't been concerned but it had been more than two weeks since his last customer. The last batch of workers had been released in the wild wiped of their memories due to them slacking, the store had also started to smell rather awful due to the Grimers sliming up the area.

Dorom sighed as he stood up and popped his back, "What shall I do if this continues..." Brix the Heracross patted his master on the back in an attempt to cheer up the human, Dorom blinked appreciatively at the Pokémon before preparing to shut down the store for the night.

As he approached the door he expected Douglas to immediately move for him but the Stantler seemed to be stuck in a reverie, Dorom grew slightly irritated with the Pokémon. "Douglas, move now." Douglas blinked a few times before nodding slowly and stepping to the side, Dorom glared at him for a moment before stepping up to the door.

After letting the Chimecho in from outside the shop owner locked up the store and turned the open sign hanging up, he then walked into the back after shutting the lights off cloaking the surrounding costumes in darkness.

All of the Pokémon in the store settled down in their respective rooms that Dorom had prepared for them, food and water dishes were filled for each of the Pokémon and their doors were locked. Dorom sighed as he stretched slowly his back popping as he slipped into bed for the night, Brix the Heracross was the only of the Pokémon allowed to sleep in his room.

Dorom patted the Heracross on the head before closing his eyes for the night, Brix turned and faced the door and got into a comfortable position before closing his eyes slightly to sleep while keeping alert.

Throughout the store it was quiet except for the quiet snores of the Pokémon in their little rooms, Dorom was entirely silent as he slept his chest rising and lowering with his deep breathing. Brix buzzed quietly as he slept, his wings fluttering every once in a while.

In the Pokémon holding room Douglas was the only inhabitant awake, for some reason there was something bothering the Pokémon. He couldn't quite place the concern though, he knew that Dorom was his master but at the same time he felt like he couldn't trust the man. The Stantler shook his head a few times trying to get rid of the insubordinate thoughts, he then lowered his head and slipped off into a fitful sleep.

The other Pokémon quietly dozed completely unaware of the Stantler's problems, Crystal the Glaceon and Charg the Jolteon slept quietly together rubbing their bodies together as they dozed. Boryce the Beartic leaned against a wall as he slept breathing out steam as if the room were freezing, Tom the Luxray buzzed silently as electricity traveled over his sleep at he tossed in his sleep.

Marko's sleeping form barely shifted except for the slight movement of his breathing, finally Ray the Charzard's wings slowly flapped with each of his breaths.

As the night's moon rose over the store the muffled sound of glass breaking rang through the air, Brix shivered slightly at the sound but continued to sleep as if nothing had happened. Dorom continued to sleep as he didn't hear the door opening.

A shadowed figure slipped into the store with a mischievous smile on his face, as he walked into the store he glanced around nervously to see if there was a security system. After a moment of searching he sighed as he caught sight of no such device, he then walked past the costumes and slipped over the counter and opened up the cash register.

A frown appeared on the intruder's face as he saw nothing in the register, "Where's the cash?..." He whispered to himself, he then tried to claw at the bottom of the register's drawer to see if there was anything but frowned as nothing was revealed. "Damn it... I come into this damn town tonight and find nothing but shit..."

The thief glanced around the room at the costumes and an interested look appeared on his face, "These might catch a good price at the black market..." He wandered over to a shelf and pondered as he glanced at the suits and fingered them carefully, as his eyes ran over the costumes he started to get bored before a costume caught his interest.

The thief fingered a Zorua costume, a giant grin adored the costume's face which allured him for some reason. He had never been much one for Pokémon but as a child the little fox had always held a certain charm in his eyes, he slipped the costume off of its rack and slid the material between his fingers.

As he held in between his hands he blinked a few times before looking at the dressing room nervously, "I... it couldn't hurt, could it?" As he stepped into the backroom he started to pull the costume on and shivered as the seemingly second skin slipped over his own.

Back in the Pokémon holding cells within Douglas's mind a war was being waged, his old human self was fighting Dorom's programing. As his head thrashed around he heard voices from his old self yelling at the same time he heard his master's voice, as the voices grew louder and louder his head suddenly froze in place.

As Douglas's eyes opened his eyes flashed with intelligence, he looked himself over with horror reflected in his eyes. "W... what's happened to me?" He asked in the Pokémon language, next door Ray awoke being a light sleeper.

The Charizard walked close the room and asked through the door, "What's wrong Douglas?"

Douglas shook his head a few times blinking in confusion, "My name isn't Douglas, its Doug!"

As his voice carried through the holding area Crystal and Charg blinked slowly as they awoke from their sleep, "What's happening?" Charg called out through the area.

Ray called back awaking more of the Pokémon, "Something's wrong with Douglas."

Doug shook his head violently at being called that name again, "My name is Doug! What's happened to me?! Where are my friends, tell me right now!"

As the Pokémon became disgruntled Brix snapped up as he awoke, he then pushed Dorom awake who quickly sat up as he heard the sound of Pokémon arguing. "What is going on?!" He asked in confusion, the owner rushed out the door towards the holding room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The thief was excited at his new look as he glanced over the costume that he had slipped on, "Wow... whoever made this costume really went all out, didn't they?" As he admired the costume a sound made him freeze, the calls of Pokémon filled the air.
He looked at the door in confusion, "Are there Pokémon in here?..." As he prepared to open the door he found that he couldn't for some odd reason, the thief looked at his hand and froze as he realized that his fingers were no longer there. "W... what's going on here?!"
As the thief realized something was wrong he looked on the floor and saw his Pokégear lying on the floor and quickly picked it up, he flipped it open and took a deep breath as he thought about what he was about to do. He sighed as he dialed a number and held it up to his changing ear, "Hello, Officer Jenny?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Doug was ramming his door in a panic, "Let me out right now!" His antlers scraped against the door, the other Pokémon were now distressed by the odd behavior of their cohort.

Dorom rushed into the room with a worried look on his face, "What is going on in here?!"

A breaking noise filled the air as Doug's door was broken down by a strong Headbutt attack. Dorom fell to his butt in astonishment at the action of the Pokémon, "D... Douglas what are you doing?!"

Doug roared in anger, "My name isn't Douglas!"

The Stantler then rushed out of the room in anger, Dorom was frozen in confusion for a moment before standing up hastily and slamming his hand on a button set on the wall. All of the doors to the holding cells slid open and the Pokémon rushed out, Dorom pointed to the escaping Stantler. "Go catch Douglas, right now!"

All of his Pokémon nodded and ran down the hall, Dorom then slid to the ground holding his hand to his forehead. "I need an aspirin..." Brix then appeared holding a glass of water and a pill held in its hands, Dorom took the medicine and drink and quickly gulped them down before standing. "Alright, it's time to solve this problem."

The lights of a police motorcycle rushed down the alleys of the city before stopping at the closed door of the Costume Poké, Officer Jenny and her Pokémon Growlithe who barked as he jumped off of the motorcycle. The pair ran to the store door and knocked, "Open up right now!" Officer Jenny shouted out as the sound of Pokémon rang out from inside.

Jenny backed up and looked at her Pokémon, "Growlithe, use Headbutt on the door!" Growlithe barked in agreement before backing up and slamming into the door, it took three attempts before he was able to knock the door open.

As Jenny rushed into the store she glanced around, at first she saw nothing but the noise of Pokémon bellowing was deafening. Before they could search any further a Stantler burst into the room from the back with multiple Pokémon in tow, Officer Jenny froze for a moment in confusion at the sight. "F... freeze?..."

The Pokémon rushed around the room before Stantler jumped on a display case and looked down on the rest of the Pokémon, he then started to talk to the others in its language. Jenny and Growlithe were confused as the action continued.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the backroom the thief moaned in pain as he started to shrink, memories were rushing out of his head quickly. Years of being raised by his master slipped in, he had been raised to be a stand in whenever he was needed by Dorom.
Other times he would slip into people's wallets outside and grab money for his master, the ears on top of his head started to flick as he changed. He rapidly shrunk to the size of a Zorua as his arms and legs became smaller, he couldn't help but smile for some odd reason as he changed even though he was scared out of his mind.
The thief soon was replaced by a small foxy black Pokémon, as he winced the last of his human memories slipped out to be filled by those instituted by the costume. As he looked around he barked out in confusion looking for his master, as he started to get worried the door handle to the room turned and the door was torn open.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Doug glared at his fellow transformed Pokémon, "Don't all of you realize?! You were all turned into Pokémon by this stupid costume shop!" The Pokémon facing him denied his claims though, Doug quickly realized that his arguments would do nothing to them.

But as he looked at them he remembered that he was a Stantler, he dug into his mind and realized that he could use Hypnotize. "This might work..." Doug closed his eyes for a moment before a beam of hypnosis shined upon his fellow Pokémon; they all quieted down as their eyes started to twirl.

Doug opened his eyes and sighed in relief as he saw them all frozen, "Alright, I want you all to remember who you were before you were changed."

The Pokémon blinked slowly as they remembered their pasts and their eyes widened with horror, "W... what happened to us?" Ray asked as he looked at his new form, before they could continue they all heard a voice.

"H... hey freeze..." They all looked to the side to see Officer Jenny, they all looked at one another and realized that they couldn't stay there.

They all saw that the door was open, the group of Pokémon counted to three with one another and rushed out the door right past Officer Jenny who was knocked right on top of poor Growlithe.

After coughing and standing up she looked around, "How am I going to explain this to everyone at the station?..."

She froze as she heard Growlithe growling at someone in the back, she glanced to the side and froze as she saw Dorom walking out of the back with confusion on his face. "Where are my Pokémon?"

Jenny smiled as she saw him, "I think I smell a promotion..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the wilderness some new Pokémon wandered around all getting used to their new surroundings, Charg and Gale smiled as they saw a snowy biome. They looked at the group, "We're going to stay here."
Doug looked at them concerned, "Are you two sure?"
The pair nodded, "I think we'll like it here." Crystal said, the pair said goodbye to their friends. Seymour had decided to follow the pair and waved the group goodbye as well.
The group continued on walking through the forest, as they walked on each of the group found a new home to reside in. Markus and Thomas found a nice plains area to reside in, soon Doug found a nice little grove to lie in. As he settled down he looked around the small area with a small amount of sadness in his heart, "I guess we all found our new homes, but I wish we could've said goodbye to our families..."
As he spoke he froze as he heard the snapping of a branch behind he, Doug turned around and saw a small baby Deerling stumbling through the brush. "Have you seen my momma?..." She asked him, Doug didn't know what to say for a second before standing up.
"I don't know, but I could help you if you want." Doug said, the Deerling smiled and nodded.
The Stantler and Deerling walked into the brush together to find the little one's mother, as Doug walked he thought over what he was doing. "Maybe I can make a new family... a Pokémon family."
In Starkem city a little store opened on the main road, many people gathered around it blocking off the entrance. A teenager noticed and pushed through the crowd to see what was so special about the store, as he drew near the door he heard a voice calling out. "Welcome to the Costume Poké, home of the world's best Pokémon costumes!"
The boy finally got in the store and smiled as he saw a Heracross helping people pick out costumes, as he walked in a tall man with a smile on his face walked up to him. "Welcome to the store, my name is Dorom. Let me help you find a costume just for you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Officer Jenny gasped as she looked inside of an empty cell, "Where did the store owner go?! I swear I put him in this exact cell!" By her legs a small Zorua slipped by snickering as he ran out the front door towards his master and the new store.
