'Eratne fortuna contra mihi ab initio?'

Thunder roars ominously across the pitch black sky, threatening to consume everything. Lightning briefly dispels the darkness in the forest. It was during one of these flashes that a young woman, running for her life, manages to get a glimpse of the surrounding foliage; the pouring rain helping little with her endeavor. The hammering of her heart, like a drum of war, was the only noise she heard aside from the thunder. It was during a brief pause to ascertain her surroundings, that a brief strike of lightning revealed the young woman's features. Her skin is as pale as a porcelain doll, her long raven black hair flowing like a river behind her, a bow the color of blood balanced haphazardly on her hair, and her lips a deep crimson. Her body thin and fragile, her eyes an almond shape. But, oh, her eyes what a sight to behold, the most beautiful amethyst color, helped, along with the rest of her features, giving her an ethereal look as if she were a fallen angel.

This ethereal beauty staggered blindly through the rain drenched forest she once called home; her lilac colored dress ripped and tore in the low hanging branches of pine and oak trees. The whole time she was running from her pursuer, an invisible entity, not once did she look back or think about the fact that it was tracking her by her scent, thinking that she'd be able to lose him amongst the maze like forest. Her pursuer smiled as he followed her scent through the forest, ignoring the scent of pine, damp earth, and animals taking refuge from the deluge as he concentrated on the scent of his pray, a scent that drove him crazy with bloodlust. Oh, how he wished he could have gotten his hands on her sooner, but he dared not anger his prince, though he knew with the prince wounded that it was the right time to attack the prince's lover. Sniffing the air, he caught the scent of lilac mixed with strawberries. He sped up after his quarry, grinning like a mad man, as he caught sight of her leaning against an oak, panting trying to regain her breath. 'Marie, oh, sweet Marie! I cannot wait to feel your slender neck between my hands as I watch you squirm helplessly before having my fun', thought Marie's pursuer.

Marie leaned against an ancient oak tree, looking out for any sign of her pursuer as she tried regaining her breath. "Oh, God..." she sobbed, "Why- why did this happen? Is this some kind of sick joke on your part?"

In between her sobs she failed to notice her pursuer sneak behind her until he whispered her name in her ear. "Marie."

Marie gasped at the familiarity of the voice. "Erik?" "He he he, so it seemsss that the Prince'sssss betrothed doessss indeed know such a lowly servant," Erik hissed.

Marie sucked in a rattled breath before countering, *kssieeeed* "Of course I know who you are. How can I not know? You were always staring at me w-with that crazed gaze of utter loathing."

"And do you know why I would sssstare at you like that, Lil Marie? Hmm..." Erik's serpentine whispers sent shivers running up and down her spine. Marie tried to keep her purr of pleasure in, but Erik noticed her body's betrayal. Smirking Erik allowed himself to breath in her arousal. "Well it seemssss someone'sss in the mood to play," he whispered seductively, fondling Marie's breasts.

"Wha-what are-- Oh, God! Stop it! Nnn..." Marie whimpered in a flushed voice.

"Mmm, you smell delicious Marie, and your body wants it, so who am I to deny the needs of the princess?" Erik sadistically laughed as he proceeded to rip the remainder of Marie's dress off.

"Please Erik, please don't do this!" Marie futilely pleaded.

Unfortunately for Marie, Fate was against the fallen angel, as Erik brutally violated her. Marie knew that deep down a small part of her really did enjoyed the perverse pleasure of being de-flowered against her will. She cried to the heavens, begging for forgiveness for enjoying her violation, for her body's betrayal, but most of all for betraying her love, even if it was not her fault.
