Chapter 4: Kitsune and Bad News

Angel and I had gone to bed after the Renamon had passed out. Cassi agreed to stay by her side for the night and come get me if she woke up. I half expected her to burst in when I finally fell asleep or not at all, if I didn't. I looked at the clock behind Angel, which was hard since she had her tails wrapped entirely around me. I had already discarded the comforter and even the sheets since she was so hot. I blamed the heat on the fact that she was a fire type pokemon.

The clock read midnight. I felt the tips of Angel's tails begin to tickle the sweet spot that was on the back of my neck, making me shiver. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I looked back at her as she began to paw at the necklace that she still had on. She licked the underside of my neck slowly and very lightly.

"Joey, I want you to explain something to me." She said, almost worried.

"What ever you want me to, I'll gladly tell you everything I can." I told her softly, hoping to ease her a little.

"Two things. The first is this, exactly what or who is that girl on the spare bed and that thing she gave you? And second, why didn't you think of the necklace earlier?" She asked practically whispering the last one.

"I'll answer the second one first since it's shorter. My first mate gave it to me once we were free and I found out what killing truly was. It harbors all of the evil that my "creators" had supposedly imbedded in my very soul. It didn't work out like they had expected." I told her, trailing off slightly while trying my best to recollect my thoughts.

"But, you are anything but evil, and I don't feel any different." She whispered to me with a frightened look on her face. As she said it, her paws were frantically trying to pull the necklace of a half moon dragon off. At least until I put my hands on her paws.

"Like I said, it didn't work out the way they wanted it to. Instead of turning my soul black, it gave me immortality. They wrote it off as my incredible power, but no. When I was given that necklace, I embedded the power I had into it. The evil that was once my source of strength was purified because of the intent when I did." My voice began to shake, badly, and I began to quiver lightly until her tails started moving all around me, trying to calm me.

"It's okay, you don't have to tell me if it's too painful. I don't want to see you hurting." Her voice alone calmed me as I buried my face in her soft chest fur. I looked up into her eyes and was only soothed further as the sapphire pools of beauty expressed true love and concern, only in a way I had seen once. I smiled weakly up at her, afraid she would be upset from my sadness. "Do you feel better now?" She asked, giving me a light kiss that lingered on my lips even after she pulled away.

"Yeah, just some really bad memories. I'm sorry if I appear weak because of the pain they give me..." I looked downwards only to have her paws on my chin, pulling me up to meet her eyes, which looked very serious and almost threatening.

"Don't you ever say that, no matter what happens to you, you won't ever be weak in my eye." She hissed at me, causing me to shy away slightly. Her paws wrapped around the back of my neck and pulled me close. She slipped her head under mine and hugged me tightly, her plushy ears brushing against my cheek. "The fact that they affect you so much only tells me that whatever happened, it really hurt you. It tells me that you can really care. That's what I see, not that you're weak; I couldn't ever think that about you." Her voice had returned to the soft angelic tone that calmed my aching heart instantly.

I wrapped my own arms around her soft and warm body, drawing a massive amount of comfort from the simple contact. 'She really loves me, and I... I couldn't think of a life without her.' I thought in the serenity of my mind. She murred lightly as I relaxed under her embrace, knowing that helped. "Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you, my love." I told her, pulling back and staring longingly into her eyes. She returned the look, smiling.

We leaned in towards each other at the same time and kissed deeply. Her sweet tasting tongue slipping into my mouth only to be greeted by my own, and then intertwine. The feeling of the passion she had for me was breath-taking, and having that kind of physical effect as she deepened the kiss, drawing my tongue into her hot and very smooth maw. We stayed in that position, tongues wrapped around each other's and in each other's mouths for as long as we could, but we had to breathe eventually and the deepness of the kiss was preventing that.

"I'm glad to see you're feeling better, my lover." She said warmly, rubbing her body against my, which was devoid of cloths so I felt her fur encase me happily. "I hate to ruin the good moment but the first question as to the identity and species of our guest, who's occupying the other bed, is chewing away at me." She said with a completely calm voice, still soothing me.

"The answer to the second is a little longer." I said looking up through the skylight, my mood much brighter then before. The moon was full, and it was shining beautifully across the midnight sky. "Hey, why don't we continue this chat at a little spot I like?"

She looked at me smiling. "I'd love to." She said as I focused on the memory. In seconds, the surroundings changed instantly, putting us on a ridge overlooking the valley that the outpost was near. The air was cold, well to Angel anyways because she huddled up next to me. I extended my wings and wrapped them around us because I was admittedly cold as well, plus the crosswind wasn't helping.

"It's beautiful up her my love." She breathed into my ear. I put my arm around her and she leaned into my chest. We stayed like that for at least ten minutes, just enjoying each other's presence, until I began to talk about the renamon. I only did since she was the topic of our little trip out here.

"That girl is a renamon. She a Digimon, or digital 'monster' so to speak. Renamon are the more, attractive looking kind. They are also the most powerful rookies, or basic forms." I explained, waving my wrists around occasionally to express my opinion.

"So they evolve too?" She questioned, looking at me. The innocents of her eyes made me question if this was the same horny vixen I had met earlier, but I put that thought away for later.

"Kind of, but they call it digivolving, or digievolution. Like me, their higher forms are much more powerful then their others." I finished, expecting her to question further, but hoping the simple explanation would suffice. She didn't look satisfied though.

"So what's that thing she handed you?" She asked in an almost annoyed voice. Apparently, I had forgotten the digivice she gave me, but that was one of the things at the top of Angel's list.

"It's called a digivice. It's used to activate digicards and enhance a Digimon's abilities and so on. It also binds a Digimon to a tamer for their lives. But there can really only be one Digimon per tamer, or at least I think." I stated. She looked at me, and evil grin playing across her face.

"Well, you're all mine and I'm not giving you up for some Digimon!" She growled playfully. I returned the gesture. She jumped on me, pushing us to the ground as we kissed deeply. Her tongue pushed passed my lips and ran all the way to the back of my mouth. She tasted different, and then I realized she must have been "cleaning" herself.

We broke the kiss, much to my disliking, and just looked out over the valley. "Hey, the sun." She said looking out over the horizon. I had chosen the perfect place too. The sun was rising in the valley and casting the most beautiful colors over the sky.

"You're just so random. But we should get back." Then, I put my arms around her tightly. "You ready?" I asked a puzzled looking Angel.

"For what?" She asked me back, curious.

"Hold on, and trust me." I told her, nuzzling the base of her neck causing her to murr.

"To the ends of the earth." She told me lovingly and lightly licked the back of my neck. With that, I concentrated on where the renamon was sleeping. The temperature rose suddenly with the teleportation. Cassi was asleep but the renamon was wide-awake, and looking like she had just had a heart attack.

"Please, don't do anything else like that until you tell me you can." She said exasperated. Angel just giggled as she leaned against my leg while I absent-mindedly began to run my fingers though her fur. "May I ask, what is your name my tamer? And, would you like to give me a name? I've grown tired of being called by my race rather then by a name." She said, calming down as I approached her. She seemed to lean back as I did, 'Probably just nervous' I thought to myself.

"Call me Joseph, or Joey if you really want to. Also, how does the name Kitsune sound? Of course Kitty or Kit as a nick-name." She looked to the side at an upward angle, pondering the idea. Then, with sudden speed, she wrapped her arms around me. I was surprised that her fur felt almost exactly like Angel's. It just wasn't as long.

"I like it, thanks Joseph." She said happily. The 'Joseph' must have been out of respect. Also, she must have liked it a lot because she began to murr quietly as she rubbed her head against my muscular chest which, at the time, was bare. She shivered as she deeply inhaled my scent.

"He smells amazing, doesn't he?" Angel asked as she lay down on the foot of the bed. She blushed, not pulling away from me.

"Yeah, what are you anyways? I've never seen a Digimon like you before." She said as she started to rub my chest with her hand.

"I'm not a Digimon, I'm a pokemon, and we're different from you in many ways." Angel explained, sitting upright. Cassi stirred.

"Ok, I've herd the last minute or so of this. Angel, Kitsune, you two explain each others species and/or kinds to each other." She said to the two girls who were looking between each other, Cassie and me. "Joey, my bother, I have bad news for you and need to speak with you privately." Cassi said getting up, the tension in her voice not going unnoticed by me. We left the room, and the cabin, as the two girls chatted away about their origins.

"Alright, what's the matter and why did we have to walk for an hour to get here when we could have just teleported?" I asked a little upset since she wouldn't answer me. I was standing beside her now so I thought she would finally answer the question. She surprised me by breaking down into tears and wrapping her arms around me protectively.

"It's all gone, they're all gone, Joey! We're the last good ones of our kind!"

Okay, after a month or two of keeping y'all waiting, this one's finally here. Therefore, I've begun typing up Joey's beginning and it's going to take a while since I didn't have the best handwriting when I put it down on paper. Anyways, I still need an editor, so contact me if you're interested.
