Changes: chapter 10

Disclaimer: chapters 1-4, right there

Warning: most of this story is flashback. So don't read of you don't want to see a Good Hun. I know he isn't the most popular. Everyone could have beginnings. And good ends, while having a bad path.

"My sons do not know their capabilities. A good father must show them the way, while a bad one will show them their capabilities. I can only show them the way towards them. They must choose their limits, not me, that's why I had to step down. Zero will be their Wayward, he binds everything, without him, things might have happened differently. He will be their guide on the path that I have given them. One day they might have to leave an old rat behind, which I know they will be reluctant to do. Their all a father ever asked for, that's why I must step aside"

-Splinter

Chapter 10: goodbyes, flashbacks, and Alligator tears.

Two days later, splinter was stable enough to be let out if the medical pod. Everyone was ecstatic. The pod was draining of liquid,

Splinter was helped out and onto a bed. Zero sighed "thank god" he said as he was just resting "what about you guys?" He asked one of the aliens.

"We will be returning home at last" he said. Zero nodded and said his goodbye and the aliens started out of the room. Everyone followed them. They ended up in a large room with an odd machine "this is the Transmat, a teleporter if you will" he said. Everyone got onto the Transmat and they looked at the group "goodbye turtles, and humans. Today, we return to our people and the shredder receives the most just judgement that our judges can give him, death" he said as the beam of light shown "I have already registered this facility in your name, Xercies Hamato. You are free to run it as you see fit, TGRI is at your disposal, but don't get too caught up, there are dangerous things lurking sometimes" he said as they disappeared.

Zero and the gang were still staring at the Transmat. All of a sudden, the doors busted open, what looked like an alligator ran "Father! I've come home at last. I've finally found... you..." he saw the empty room, except for zero and the gang "where are the... A Transmat... I've missed them already... no... NO!" He yelled.

The tears were real, as he cried for his family. The underlaid of his eyes folded over his eyes and he charged for the Transmat. Everyone ran after him "Hey, wait, don't do that, you don't know where you will end up!" Zero yelled, but it was too late, everyone was on the Transmat, and the light was already radiating

"What the fuck?" Raph asked "this thing could take us anywhere." He said. And a flash erupted leaving them to conceal their eyes. Everything went blank as zero drifted to unconsciousness.

Flashback

flashback: Hunter

Zero walked into the game store. He was 15 at the time. He wore his normal black jeans and a white shirt under a large black hoodie. His hair was long and straight. His amber eyes flaring in the light.

He pretty much a normal teenager, except he partook in the secrets of New York. Parkour was a normal activity for him. He also had a passion for gaming, hence his reason for being here this day. He walked up to the gaming area, and started searching for a specific game.

Once he reached for it, another hand was too and they collided. "Oh. Were you looking to get the game too?" Zero turned to see the slightly larger male. He was smiling, with long blond hair. Zero smiled and nodded back "I'm Hunter Mason, and you are?" He asked. Hunter was dressed on what looked like biker clothing. His nine structure was pretty angular

Zero nodded "Xercies, Call me Zero, Hunter" he said. Hunter nodded and they both got a copy of the game. "So, you like video games too then?" He asked.

The male nodded "have been since I was a kid. So then... I don't know, would you like to hang out sometime?" He asked. Zero nodded "I'll give you my number... maybe we could play video games one day" he said as he went over to the counter. After he purchased the game. He wrote the number in a receipt and handed it to him "hope to hear from you again... Zero" after that, he left.

Zero and Hunter were sitting around Zero's kitchen table. They were talking, be it video games or life. "Hunter... why do you still live at your house? What you told me about your Father... that's just horrible. How can anyone do that..." Hunter help up a hand, and touched it to a bandage on his arm

"You know I can't. I take the beatings, if I don't, mom will... I am trying to find a way to get us both out. Once we've done that, I can have a normal life." Hunters father had drunk fits. Spending all if his own money on alchohol "sooner or later, he will get alcohol poisoning. So if I took it since I was a kid. I can take it until the bastard kills himself" he said.

Zero put a hand on his good shoulder "I'll try to find you a way out, both of you. I promise" he said. Hunter nodded and had something behind his eyes "we met a month ago. I was with you when it first happened. I'll be with you when it ends" he said.

He smiled as Hunter smiled on thanks "Thank you... Zero. You will never know how much that means to me..." Zero out a hand on Hunters "you know, maybe you do know." He said. The tears fell then "I've tried to keep from crying my whole life. But... maybe I can let it all go now" he said.

He cried in Zero's shoulder, Zero looked at him "Hunter Mason, I want you to know, that I will love you forever, no matter what happens" he said.

After Hunter had cried the years away, they had started to talk. "Zero? I want to give you something. I want you to always keep it. Make it a symbol you still love me. You don't have to give me something. There is no way that I could stop loving you. You've been the first person to be here for me. That's not a favor you can pay back" he said.

Hunter kissed zero, and Zero had kissed back. Tears were still there, on his cheeks. But they were for joy now. Years of sadness was gone now.

Zero smiled and hugged him "Hunter. It's ok now. Let all the bad out. And keep only the good in. Your your own person. Don't let him change that"

After Hunter calmed down, Zero could breath easy now "Hey, Hunter? Do you think that we can ever... do something together? Like couples do?" He asked.

The male nodded "one day Zero. We really need to get my mom out before though. We need to get her out if there as fast as we can."

What happened the next day had brought everything crashing down upon them. This was the first month of Zero and Hunter. The trials they faced were mind shattering to normal people. No matter what, a person carries both light and darkness inside then. No matter how small. It can spread and change easily.
