The students are now relaxing, but underneath the peaceful inhabitant's there stirs ominous events.

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all think! ^_^

Snow dipped her foot into the water and shivered at the chill of it, as she settled down she blinked as she looked over to see Allen playfully patting Will on the bank. The skunk looked at the water doubtfully and tried to shake his head but before she knew it Allen had shoved Will into the water, sadly poor Kiris had been standing right next to the skunk and had the displeasure of being grabbed by the arm and was pulled in along with Allen and Will.

She burst out laughing as a very angry looking Husky popped his head out of the head, "What! The! Fuck?!" Kiris screamed as he shivered in the water, he quickly swam out of the water and started to shake water out of his fur. German curses rushed out of his mouth as he hit the sides of his head to get the water out of his ears.

As Kiris tended to himself Snow glanced over to see Will climbing out of the water silently before turning to Allen, "I told you, I don't go into water." The skunk's quiet voice was full of an anger that surprised her, before Allen had a chance to reply the skunk rushed off angrily with Will in tow.

Kiris suddenly glared at the giggling girl, "What are you staring you stupid girl?!" Snow quieted down as he shook himself off one more time before striding off his tail stiff with range, she scratched her head as she kicked her feet lightly.

The sun blazed down on Snow's skin with a quiet intensity, Snow smiled as she thought of all of her new friends. The human had been living in a family that didn't see the Anthros as a threat or an evil, Snow had actually been encouraged to embrace the situation. "Penny for your thoughts?"

A voice made Snow look up in surprise, Artie smiled down on her and standing next to him stood Kristen with her hair in a ponytail. "Oh... sorry I just got distracted, it's a gorgeous day." Snow suddenly blinked and realized she hadn't asked if they had want to take a seat but the pair had already taken a seat on the beach alongside her, "So... what were you two up to?"

Snow winked perversely messing with the pair; Kristen blushed and sputtered while Artie chuckled. "It's not like that, is it so wrong that I like to hang out with Kristen?"

"Of course not, though I'll admit if not for the fact for the flower in Kristen's hair I would never have given it a second thought." It was Artie's turn to sputter, Snow giggled as her friends were embarrassed.

After Artie and Kristen got over their bought of embarrassment the trio settled down and relaxed kicking the water lightly, as they looked out at the deep blue of the sea Kristen looked at Artie and smiled. "Artie I've been wondering why you came here to meet us."

Artie's nose twitched as he closed his eyes with a small smile on his face, "It was my grandfather; he passed away last week. When I was younger he had always told me about how much he had wanted to see the humans but had never gotten the chance, so when he was on his deathbed he implored me to come here and see the humans. It's not like I could tell a dying man no, so I promised." Artie's smile widened as his eyes opened and he looked at the two of them, "I'm glad that I came though, I've gotten to meet you humans and you don't seem that different then us. Though I'll admit, when I first saw you I thought you were hairless rats..."

The pair of girls smacked him playfully as he laughed; they all jumped up in shock as a ocean wave suddenly surged onto the beach and soaked them all. They all stood there shivering for a moment for breaking into laughter, Kristen then gasped as her hand brushed through her wet hair and realized that the flower was gone. "Oh no, the flower!" She started to run into the surf but Artie quickly grabbed her arm and she looked distraught at him, "The flower you gave me..."

Artie smiled and brushed her hair to the side, "It's just a flower Kristie... I can get you another one." Kristen smiled lightly and looked out to where the flower had rushed out, as they stood there for a moment they both stiffened up as they heard a staggered laughing and looked back to see Snow holding in laughter.

"So... you two are going out..." Before she could get any further the pair looked at one another and smiled malevolently at one another and turned back towards her and started to chase the girl, Snow ran as fast as she could away from them laughing in an oddly catlike fashion.

Jason juggled some coconuts his eyes squinted against the Australian sun as Nicholas and Molo conversed, the trio were standing in the shade of the house that they were staying in. "Do you guys have Final Fantasy where you live?" Nicholas asked Molo, the cat nodded happily.

"Yeah, they ship it over from the Human colonies though we have to pay pretty hefty prices for human games." Molo said as Jason's concentration faltered for a moment and looked up as Jason grunted in pain as a coconut collided with his head, the human fell to his butt and yipped in pain.

Molo and Nicholas looked at him in confusion and Nicholas decided to voice what they were both thinking, "Did you just yip?"

Jason looked as confused as they did, "I... I dunno... did I?" Before they could answer that question one of the cooks, a crane woman, popped her head out and smiled at them.

"I'm sorry for bothering you all, but it's time for lunch." They all smiled as the thought of food interrupted them, the trio thanked her and turned towards the others who were hanging out near the beach.

"Hey guys, lunch is ready!" Nicholas yelled as the other two slipped through the door and rushed into the building, as Molo and Jason ran through the halls they screamed as they suddenly slid on a wet floor and they both ran into a wall.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jacob and Shiloh jumped up from their chairs as they heard the smash of two bodies hitting a wall much like they had done earlier, after some pained noises and what sounded like an angry cat's hiss they watched as the door opened to reveal Molo and Jason walking with pained expressions. "So... wet floor?" Jacob asked hiding his smile, Jason and Molo shot him angry glares before seating themselves.
Shiloh chuckled as Jacob took a seat, the rest of the students walked in some nearly taking a spill on the wet floor. "Why is the floor so wet?" Ethan asked as he came in from using the bathroom, Snow was about to answer when Will, Allen, and Kiris all walked in simultaneously.
Everyone had to hold in their laughter as Kiris's fur puffed out slightly, "What are you laughing at?!" He barked angrily as he took a seat, everyone whistled nonchalantly as the Allen and Will took a seat next to Jacob.
The smell of food suddenly filled the air as the door to the kitchen opened up, carts of food pushed into the dining room. All of the college students drooled in excitement as foods of different types were laid out on the table. Dishes with fish and bowls with leafy greens were laid out, then plates with delicious steaks and different meats were set down.
As the cooks walked out of the room everyone started to pick their food, Jacob quickly grabbed two large pieces of steak which earned him the scorn of the meat loving animals at the table. Snow took her fork and stabbed it into a Trout, as Molo grabbed a Salmon he grinned as he licked his chops.
Artie grabbed some greens from a nearby bowl; he nibbled on a piece of lettuce as he grabbed a bottle of orange juice nearby. Travish's eyes flashed with hunger as he grabbed a large slab of meat, he didn't seem to notice that it was raw as he took a large bite out of it not that anyone around him paid him any attention. Kristen took a small piece of meat herself and smiled at Artie as she took a small bite of it, Ethan having a large breakfast earlier didn't take too much for himself but he partook of some vegetables.
Kiris grabbed a few pieces of meat for himself and picked up his plate then walked out of the dining room, Will frowned as he watched the Husky walk out but shrugged as he grabbed some berries from a plate and started to eat them. Allen stole some berries from Will jokingly which earned him a punch in the arm from the skunk.
Julius looked at the rest quietly as he popped some bugs that he had brought in in a small bag, Shiloh bent over the Gecko and grabbed a piece of pork and quickly chowed down on a piece before plopping some down on his own plate. Nicholas had made himself a burger by cutting some bread off of a loaf and shoving a steak in-between the pieces of bread, Cody wasn't that hungry so he sat back as he scratched his neck which seemed more furry than usual.
As the group ate and talked the humans started to feel a bit odd, Jacob stood up and staggered a little bit as his face went a bit green. "I... I'm sorry guys, I don't feel too good. I'm gonna go to bed..." The others wished him to get better as he staggered off.
As Jacob staggered through the halls of the house the hallway seemed to spin, "W... what's wrong with me?..." As he went into the room where they all slept he noticed Kiris murmuring into a small device but he didn't really care, he stumbled to his bed and collapsed into it. As he laid down the room span faster and faster until his eyes rolled back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kiris had sat his plate down on his bed and pulled out a small device out of his pocket, he clicked a few buttons on its surface and then a raccoon's face appeared on the screen. The raccoon started to talk but then looked perplexed, "K... Kiris, why is your fur all... puffed out like that?"

Kiris grew angry, "It's nothing! I... I mean it's nothing sir."

The raccoon slowly nodded for a second before getting to business, "How goes the project Kiris?"

Kiris started to answer before he jumped as Jacob staggered into the room, he started to hide his Ipawd before he realized that the human seemed off. He smiled as the human laid down on his bed, "Sir I think I can show you."

The husky stood up and walked over to Jacob who had passed out, he put the camera on Jacob who's skin was starting to grow a fine layer of red fur. Kiris used his claw to rip a line through the shirt and showed off how much fur had grown since that morning, Jacob started to whimper as a ripping noise came from his shorts and a tail ripped through the back of them. A bushy fox tail wagged slightly as it flopped down, the human's ears shrank out of sight as fox's ears popped out on the top of his head.

Jacob's face extended out into a muzzle, along his face orange a red colored fur sprouted. Jacob sneezed a few times as his new nose cleared itself, Kiris then flipped him over while avoiding waking the changing human from his rest.

The husky then slipped Jacob's shirt off to reveal a thick tuft of white fur sprouting from his chest, Kiris jumped slightly as the human's shoes fell off of his feet as they changed. "Check his hands." A quiet voice sounded from the Ipawd and he lightly grabbed Jacob's wrists and turned them over to reveal the hands.

Black pads had formed on the hands along with sharp claws as the end of each of the fingers, he then dropped the hand to the bed as he drew back from Jacob and looked into the Ipawd. "How does it look sir?"

The raccoon on the screen looked very happy, "This is just what I had planned; now I need you to call the hospital staff and tell them that one of the humans has changed. Do it before any of the others come in." Kiris nodded and then shut off the call; he then dialed the Hospital which sent over a pair of bulls carrying a stretched between the two of them.

As Kiris watched Jacob be carried away he jumped as Shiloh strode into the room with a smile on his face, "Heya Kiris, I was wondering where Jacob went."

Kiris thought it over for a moment, "He went to the hospital, he apparently got a pretty bad bug and has to be quarantined for a few days until he gets better." Shiloh frowned and looked at the empty bed.

"Well that sucks... didn't the shot they give the humans supposed to prepare them for this sort of thing?" Kiris cursed under his breath and thought about it for a moment before thinking of an answer.

"This is a virus that can't be prevented, thankfully it's not deadly so he'll be fine soon enough." Shiloh nodded and yawned.

"Alright, well I'm going to bed. Good night Kiris, don't let the water bite." Shiloh snickered as he jumped into bed and turned onto his side; Kiris glared at him before slipping into his own bed and went to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jacob yawned as he woke up, his jaw stretching wide as he sat up. He rubbed his eye and froze as he felt the feeling of the rub strangely muted by something; he looked around and was surprised by the blinding color of white. "Um... hello?"
His voice ran through the room, as he stood up he realized that there was something at the bottom of his vision. Jacob's eyes drifted down and widened as he realized that something was up with his face, "W... what is this?..."
Jacob quickly looked around the room now in a panic and found a mirror; he ran up to it and gasped as he looked into it. Instead of seeing himself he saw a fox, almost exactly like Shiloh except for the fact that it looked like a normal red fox. The shorts that it was wearing was his own, his hand drifted towards his face and the fox's mimicked his own.
Jacob took shuddering breaths as the horror of the situation settled down on him, the fox in the mirror was him. "W... what... how?" It felt like his lungs were being gripped by a pair of strong hands and were being squeezed, his mouth opened and shut in amazement as his reflection copied him.
The fox turned around his gaze locked on the mirror the whole time and watched his new body turn around, there behind him was his new tail. Jacob reached behind himself and touched the tail which flexed as it was touched; he was dizzied by the new feeling coming from his tail.
Jacob heard a voice echo throughout the room, "Please take a seat, the doctor shall be in soon to see you." Jacob knew that he could scream and wail and possibly even hurt himself, but that wouldn't get him anywhere. So he did what he didn't want to do, he sat down on his bed and waited for something to happen.
