I don't know what compelled me to kiss Alex but it felt so good yet so strange. I pull Alex to me so I can hold him closer, his lips were so soft and warm. I felt like I should of stopped but I couldn't stop myself. A moan of pleasure escaped Alex but it diden't last the long because my mind finally realized what I was doing, so I broke the kiss and backed away. " Alex ...I ..I,-" I tried to explain what I was doing when Alex stood up and turned away from me. There was a awkward feeling inside the room, the only sound you could hear is the sound of the rain and the crackling sound coming from the fireplace.

My heart was pounding and I was confused, I wasen't sure if I wanted him to kiss me again or if I wanted to punch him. Looking at the wolf, I saw a confused look in his eyes and I could tell he just got caught up in the moment or something like that because I'm pretty sure that he was confused, I mean why would guy like him be interested in guys. " its fine Darius, lets just act like that never happened " I said as I turned away from him. I wanted him to say that he had feelings for me but I know I was just trying to fool myself into believing he liked me, I could hear Darius getting up and moving to the window " yeah lets forget that ever happened besides we are both straight right?" I could feel my heart getting heavy. " yeah lets...." I whispered to myself, I was going to ask him if he did have feelings for me but there was the sound of the garage door opening, so I turned to who it was and it was my mother.

My mom walked into the house wearing her rain coat, and from the look of it she got a hair cut, she normally liked her hair long enough until it reached the small of her back but now it was about shoulder length, she was probably in her business clothes. Mom looked in our direction " whoo boy its raining hard out there " she said with a smile, her smile got bigger when she noticed that Darius was in the room " oh Hello, I'm Sandra Harp I'm Alex's mom." Darius was looked back and forward between me and my mom " um Hello I'm Darius? " I could tell Darius wanted to leave and honestly I don't blame him, " mom Darius needs a ride home because of the rain " I said in a matter of fact tone which surprised both of them. Mom had a disappointed look while Darius look uncertain expression. " oh ... ok well do you need a ride Darius? " asked my mom, I knew she wanted to get to know my friends. Darius nodded his head " ummm yeah I think its time for me to leave.." he said while folding the towels. He walked over to the garage door and went inside. Mom had a questioning look but I just walked to my room, I walked into my room and closed and locked the door. I could hear the car starting and soon they drove off. My legs gave out, so I was just siting there with my back to the door " I was expecting for that to happen but even though I knew what to expect, its still hurts..." I whispered to myself after hearing the sound of the thunder roaring.

[Darius]

As Ms.Harp drove me back to my house, I couldn't get what happened between me and Alex out of my head. I was even more surprised that Alex's mom was the same lady who help my parents pick out the house that we live in now. Ms.Harp looked at me with a concerned look " Darius did something happen between you two, I don't want to sound like I'm poking my head in your guys business but you both seemed to feel ..I don't know a bit awkward?" I looked at her " oh it was nothing ...." I said that because I diden't know what to say. Soon we stopped at my house " well your home, be careful now and tell your family that I said Hello " she said with a smile, I nodded reluctantly and got out with out saying anything.

I walked to the front door and knocked several times and it opened to reveal my older sister Hannah. Hannah has a more darkish color of fur, it was close to fhe color of my dads fur,She wore gray sweat pants and a matching hoodie." hey there you are, where have you been?" She asked in a annoyed voice but I diden't feel like putting up with her right now so I just walked past her and headed straight for my room. I closed the door and jumped on to my bed. I had Alex on my mind, how soft his lips were, how cute his moan was, those eyes of his. I shook my head, No I can't be thinking about that kind of stuff I mean I'm straight. "I'm not gay .. I ..I'm straight." I whispered to myself. I heard my door open and I looked to see who it was. It was my little brother who was about 7 years old. My little brother's name is Mike but we call him Mikey,he has a lighter color of fur then I do, his fur is the almost like our mom's fur. I watched as the little pup walked over to my bed and climbed on to the bedd and curled up right next to me " Danny I'm scared.." whimpered the small pup. I sighed and wrapped him in my arms " its ok Mikey the storm will pass." I said gently.

Soon Mikey fell asleep and mom came by " awww ain't that sweet " she said quietly watching the pup sleep,Mom wore a white tank top and a brown blouse, she mostly had her hair in a pony tail. I picked him carefully and gave him to mom " thank you Danny, its time for dinner ok? " I nodded and got up. Later at the dinner table, it was a routine for my family to discuss what to us during the day. "So, Kids how was your guy's first day of school here." Said my mom to start off the family conversation while passing a plate that had mashed potatoes.

Hannah grabbed the plate " It was ok I made some friends but overall it was ok". Dad was sitting at the head of the table, he had the darkest fur in our family, he wore a checkered collared shirt and kakkies, Dad has a night time job while Mom has a daytime job. Dad looked at me " well what about you Darius? How was school?" He said with a smile. I shrugged " it was ok.. I guess" I sighed, Mom's ears perked up when she heard me sigh " ok what happened? That sigh can't be a good one." She said sternly. I looked up with my ears flat against my head " well..."

[Alex]

When Mom got home I was trying to relax on my bed trying to relax. I heard a knock on my door, so I got up and opened it slightly. My Mom was standing in front of me " honey, its time for dinner." When I opened the door my Mom's eyes widened " Alex?! What happened?" Her voice full of concern. I looked away from her " Mom I'm fine ok? Don't worry about it, its nothing .." I mumbled. I walked past her and went to the dinning room and saw my stepdad. He's a German Shepherd, His name is Boris. As I said before I don't trust him even though Boris has treated me and my mom fairly. The only reason is because I have had bad experiences with my Mom's boyfriends, Some were cruel bastards, most of them wanted to be with my mom because they just wanted to use her for sex. I've been beaten a lot by Moms past boyfriends, so its going to be incredibly hard for him to earn my respect.

I walked into the kitchen to grab a plate and sat down at the table. Boris smiled at me " hey there Alex, hows your day?" Said the German shepherd in a jolly way, I glanced at him quickly. He was wearing a police uniform, Boris was police officer. " I'm fine" I muttered softly, my mother sat at the table with a small basket that had fried chicken in it. Mom grabbed two wings and put 2 on everyones plate " so Alex, who was your friend earlier? " ask my mom in a curious and concerned tone. I looked at her with a blank expression " oh Darius? He's a new kid at the school " I said in a bland way, Mom's ears perked up " Is he a friend of yours". I took a bite of the chicken, it was still hot and it was crunchy,it tasted great and I swallowed " somewhat, I guess." Boris looked up from his food " well its to know that your making friends." I get irritated with him sometimes because he trys to act like he was my dad "Yeah can we drop it now." I said in a irritated tone, Boris looked a bit hurt but I was getting irritated because the subject was about Darius.

The rest of dinner was quiet because their was a awkward air because me and Boris weren't exactly friends, I finished quickly and when up to my room. I could hear Mom and Boris talking to each other. Boris sighed " Sandra, am I doing something wrong?" He said with a hint of sadness. "No, your not doing anything wrong Boris, Alex just needs time to adjust. Me and Alex have had it pretty hard before we met you. Please just give him time ok?" Said my Mom. Closing the door I thought to myself, Sorry Boris but I won't be trusting you anytime soon.

The next morning was a quiet one. As got I ready for school, my mom walked in to my room. She was dressed for work. "Alex, is everything ok?" She asked me, I picked up my bag "I'm fine Mom." And I started to head to school but Boris stopped me when I was near the garage " Alex, do you want a ride to school?" Said the German shepherd while he was standing next to the car. I stood there and thought about it, on one hand I could walk in the cold or I could got school in a warm car but with him. I looked at the sky and saw rain clouds coming in. I don't want to walk in the rain so I think it might be better if I took Boris's offer.

[Darius]

I woke up to the sounds of cartoons on the tv in the living room. My routine was usually making breakfast in the morning but from the sounds that was coming from the kitchen, I guessed that Mom was making breakfast so I decided to take a shower. I took off my boxers and stepped into the shower. As I turned on the water, I was blasted with freezing cold water. In our house after some people use the shower, the water takes a while to heat up again so until then I had to just wait. After getting out, I got dressed and walked to the kitchen. Mom was cooking bacon and oh boy did it smell good. My Mom was the person who taught me how to cook but she originally learned from Dad. " Good morning Danny." My Mom said as I took a seat at the table " Morning Mom." Mom put a plate in front of me that had bacon, eggs and rice. " Eat up I want you guys to do good in school, ok?" I nodded and ate my fill and started to head out to the bus stop. I hugged Mom " ok see ya I going to school now." She hugged back " ok don't do anything bad now ok?"

The house I lived in was far from the school, so I took the bus in the mornings and walked in the afternoon to stay fit. The bus pulled up when I was close, so walked in and sat near the front. As the bus drove around to pick up other kids, my mind was on Alex. I should avoid Alex because it well probably get awkward but its going to be hard to avoid someone who has 3 classes with me and has the same lunch time as me. Eventually my mind wondered to the kiss from yesterday, Alex's lips were soft and ..and .." No!" I shook my head and slapped my face. I can't be thinking these thoughts "I'm not gay, I'm not gay!" I whispered to myself over and over again ever since yesterday. Soon the bus pulled up to the school and we all got off.

When I got to class, I saw that Alex wasen't here yet. I sighed with relief yet I was sad at the same time. As I walked to my seat, I guess the lion from yesterday day saw me and walked over to me. The lion's name was Lionel at least I think. "Whats up fagget." Lionel said with a arrogant. I looked at the lion with a glare "What did you just call me?" I said in a even tone. The lion pushed me "I called you a fagget because you were all up on another fag." The way he was speaking to me was starting to get on my nerves because I am not gay. Pushing the lion back just as hard "I am not a fagget, you retard!" I could hear the angry in my own voice. The whole class was watching us now. "Don't call me a retard, you freaking tail raiser! " with each word Lionel's voice began to get louder. Getting tired of this guy I turned around and sat my desk but apparently the lion wasen't done just yet. He walked up in front of my desk and got close to my face " Don't you ignore me, you pile of shit!". He just wouldn't shut the hell up, he just kept on going on and on about how he was going to make my life a living hell. Well eventually everyone gets fed up with people like him, so I figured that if he won't shut up, then I will do it for him.

Leonel stood there glaring at me "Well come on fag where did your balls go? Huh!? Oh that right you nev-". He never got the change to finish that sentence. I punched him in the throat, then in the gut and finished by slamming his head on top a near by desk. Then I grabbed him from the collar of his jacket and brought him close to my muzzle. "Don't you ever call me a fag! You brain dead idiot and as for the rest of the gays in this school can burn in hell for all I care! If you ever try to fuck with me again then I will fucking rip you apart!" I slammed his head into the desk again to get my point across. The classroom was silent because of the scene they had just witnessed. I stood there look at the other students "What!? I meant every word, All fags in this school are all nothing but trash!" Suddenly I heard a loud slam from behind me and the person who was standing in the doorway was Mr.Toyama.

"What the hell is going on in here!" He shouted, he then looked at the unconscious lion on the floor then to me "SANDERS TO THE OFFICE!" He shouted at me. Damn it I thought to myself as I picked up my things but apparently fate had more in in stored for me because I saw Alex, from the look in his eyes, he was angry or hurt ....maybe even both...
