I sigh in content, my eyes closed and tail wagging gently enjoying the gentle breeze as I flew through the skies aboard my Phoenix.

"This is so nice..."

I nearly forgot why I was out this far from Kanavan until the Phoenix screeched, I flinch and flatten my ears for a moment before perking them back up.

"Oh right, almost forgot."

I reach into my jeans pocket pulling out a small device, it glowed for a moment before revealing a holographic map with a little black dot pointing where I was supposed to go to. I crawl to the side of the Phoenix's wing and look over quickly then looking back at the map.

"Yea, this is the place."

I pat the Phoenix's back and it began to dive down into the empty field below. I quickly stuff the map back into my pocket then I hold onto the Phoenix tightly, pulling my hood on with my other paw then holding my staff. Soon the Phoenix's body turned into a blaze taking its fire form which also consumed my body, the Phoenix arched down so we were diving directly down towards the ground. Focusing my magic I slowly absorb the Phoenix's power and we became nothing but a pillar of fire pouring into the grass, the cool breeze as quickly overtaken by a gust of hot wind. Now firmly on the ground the fire pillar broke, fire spreading out quickly in multiple directions, the fire now gone I stand there with my staff in the ground and my Phoenix Sword sheathed on my back.

"Okay, now for my little intro."

I clear my throat and I do as the letter told me to do.

"I'm David Tsukaro a proud member of the Tsukaro Clan in the Kanavan Kingdom, The Phoenix King!"

I yell out, I couldn't help but giggle a bit. It sounded silly, finished with my little introduction I look around trying to spot anyone else while taking my hood off. If anyone was here they'd notice I'm a red fox with short black hair that has a couple of fire red streaks in the front, I'm also wearing a black hooded cape that has the Tsukaro Clan symbol in the middle which looks like a spilling flame inside an orb, causal blue jeans and an orange t-shirt that has blue flames along the bottom of the shirt then the Kanavan symbol on the chest.

"Huh... I'm the first one here."

It wasn't long before I could sense a powerful magic, it was heavy and dark. I quickly held my staff defensively readying a simple spell I like to call Phoenix Feather; Three flames spawn at the top of the staff quickly taking the shape of a Pheonix's feather. I don't know if this power was one of the other people that were supposed to show up or if it's an enemy, but it doesn't hurt to be safe. There was a sudden explosion in the forest to the left of me causing the birds to chirp loudly and fly off, where the explosion occured shot out a large dark purple beam straight into the empty sky. There was a few shockwave rings around it as it left the forest and entered the sky, noticing how powerful this magic was I multiplied the Phoenix Feathers, creating twelve more. The shockwave caused most of the trees to lose some leaves and blowing them over the field I stayed in, the beam dwindled and revealed a body in the sky.

It had wings but I couldn't really describe what more it was due to the sun staring back into my eyes. The being flapped its wings and flew at me, I keep my staff pointed at it as it came down. To my surprise it wasn't aimed at me but I noticed its speed increase dramatically, its body turning into a bullet of purple magic. It crashed into the ground and I could just feel in the ground that it made a hole, dust escaped from the crash spot which spread out quickly. I shield my eyes from it then peak out I could vaguely see the winged being standing there, it swiped at the dust which blew away with its motion but so did its wings. With the dust gone I uncover my eyes to get a better look at this character; It was an anthro wolf with onyx fur that I could see.. I couldn't see much of him since he was wearing a black hooded cloak, but I did also notice that he has purple.. no dark grey eyes.

"I'm Zerato Asus... a Chaos Mage..."

The wolf spoke, his voice was rather low then that same purple magic flared up around him and he disappeared, my ears twitched a bit sensing where he was going to appear, the Phoenix Feathers turned and pointed at him as he appeared behind me. He only smirked and began to take off his hood then he lift his arm just like people do when they have a bird perched on their arm.

"So.. you're not going to hurt me?"

I ask cautiously, I didn't move cause honestly, I was a little scared.

He didn't answer me and kept his arm out, from the forest I sensed the same magic as Zerato. He brought an ally? Once again, a bullet of purple shot out though..this one was smaller, not as threatening. The magic broke off its body quickly reavealing a a normal bird, it looked like a Raven or something, it spread its wings greatly slowing down as it got closer to Zerato. Its talons reached to Zerato's arm, landing finally.

"And this.. Is Abyss, my companion."

Abyss let out a chirp as it folded its wings and I nodded. With their little introduction finished I let my little spell fade, it was obvious that he was sent here by the same people that got me to come here.

"Nice to meet you."

I say as I turn around to face them, holding my paw out for him to shake. He only stared at my paw then at me, he slowly lowered his arm and Abyss hopped up to his shoulder.

"Hmph.."

My ears pin against my head and I lower my paw, then I heard him mumble something under his breath, it sounded like 'A child as my ally?'. Keeping calm I mentally growl at him and turn away from him as my ears stand back up.

"Where's the third?"

I ask curiously, I look to the sky enjoying the sun beating down on me, but that didn't last long. A storm cloud quickly took over the sunny sky making it dark, not really focusing much I sigh and grumble.

"It seriously better not rain.."

Zerato only stood there, motionless, not even his tail was wagging or anything. He hasn't moved from that spot since he got here. I glance over to him, staring a bit then he looked back to me, I jumped a bit inside, my ears perking up and twitching I wasn't expecting him to move when I looked at him. He moves over to my right and looked up to the grey clouds which now had mass amounts of electricity dancing over them, now that wasn't natural. I start to actually focus and I sese a lot of magic in the air, it wasn't as powerful as Zerato's but there's a hell lot more of it, and it's covering a massive area.

"This is big..."

I say slightly worried, Zerato didn't seem to be bothered by any of it, in fact, he smirked.

"He's trying to show off, it's funny.."

He paused for a moment and called out,

"Just show yourself already!!!"

Almost as soon as Zerato finished speaking a bolt of lightinng shot out of the clouds and directly in front of him, setting the grass on fire. I sharply gasp and jump back scared shitless from the bolt, definetly was not expecting that, Zerato only turned his head and folded his ears back and a quietly huffed. I exhale softly placing my paw on my chest and calming down a bit, another unexpected bolt of lightning this time it hit right beside me! I yelp in surprise and fear of getting hit, I move away from where the bolt hit and I fall onto my side my fur standing up and my tail looking like a stick of fluffed up fur, my heart racing.

"Wahhh, don't-"

I suddenly stop in mid sentence and open my eyes widely. "What the hell am I doing?? No, no way, this isn't me. Can't be, I'm not a child anymore." I say to myself in my head, I stand up casually and brush the dirt off my pant leg taking a deep breath, gathering myself at the same time.

"Sorry about that.."

I blush embarrassed and grumble under my breath, Zerato rolled his eyes then shook his head.

"Pathetic..."

I quietly growl under my breath, this Zerato guy is really starting to annoy me, a loud threatening roar boomed from the clouds. The amount of the electricity dancing over the clouds increased massively, I shiver a bit, I don't know if it was excitement or nervou asness but whatever was happening was big. Soon yellow claws emerge from the clouds, it seemed to grip them and spread them apart, another threatening roar boomed and a lightning dragon head came out. My eyes widen as I look up at it in fear and awe.

"Holy crap.."

My ears pin back as I shrink back, I look to Zerato to see how he felt about this. Some of his magic swirled around his body, he seemed excited or something.

"Now that looks fun to play with."

Zerato grinned a bit, with how dark he acts and looks it's hard to say that he isn't evil. A sudden violent wind gusted over the field, the clouds quickly spread out leaving the sky clear again. I could see the whole lightning dragon now, it was one of those serpentine ones. The gust of wind was strong, I close one eye and bring my arm up to protect my face. I don't know why, not like anything was directed at my face it was just instinct. It started slithering through the sky at a blinding speed, the dragonic features on it started to fade as it got closer to the ground, it became more of a stream of lightning now.

"This one is taking its time."

Zerato looked more serious and focused, his eyes flashed purple for a moment as his magical aura stayed on his body. I narrow my eyes on him then I conjure up a fire aura around myself, Zerato looked over to me slightly I guess he could feel the heat. He concentrated his magic into his right arm and I flinch.

"Don't do anything stupid, we don't know if it's a friend or foe.."

The lightning stream slammed into the ground which made an explosion sound with crackling, its impact made a shockwave which got me off guard.

"Ahh!!"

I flew off my feet from getting hit by the shockwave and rolled back a couple feet, I groan softly as I lay there with my face burried in the grass. I look up slowly and notice that Zerato wasn't there anymore, my ears perk up as I look to my left and right.

"Zerato?"

"Pay attention."

I look up and I see him flying not too high, his voice was still serious but he was right, I need to pay more attention. The ground where the lightning crashed into was clearly destroyed as a dust cloud expanded, I got up quickly and brushed myself off. The lightning seemed to twist a bit something moved inside it, then it happened. The lightning broke, spreading out in multiple directions in streams. I shield my eyes, everything got blindingly bright, I peak through my arms and I vaugely see a figure standing there it was still too bright to really see anything.

"Zerato.. I don't think it's an enemy, don't you think it would have attacked by now?"

I grunt softly, I still couldn't see but the figure too a step and I could feel it, a big tingling feeling shot up through my body making me stand up straight and tense up bit. I opened my eyes to be surprised by the person, it was a cat.. male too, I think its a Russian Blue cat now that I focused more. Looking at the cat I notice a dragon marking on his left arm, he wore a black open vest with yellow bands around the collar, arm and hem of the shirt. He was also wearing black pants with lightning pattern on each leg on the sides, his fists were occupied by gauntlets which glowed yellow with electricity.

He then stretched letting out a cute meow then smiled to us, Zerato landed beside me and took a fewsteps forwards holding out his paw. He was waiting for a handshake? What? How come this guy got more respect than me? We don't even know if he's an ally or not. The cat stopped his stretching and looked to Zerato's paw, he reached for it which made Zerato smirked showing a fang, he quickly moved closer into the cat bringing his paw up under his chin. His magic that was concentrated in it turned into a sort of arm blade.

"Sloppy.. Now state, friend or foe?"

The cat casually pushed Zerato's arm down and smiled softly to him.

"If I was a foe you wouldn't even have had the chance to make a move on me, friend."

I sigh in relief hearing that the cat was our ally, I flick my tail quickly and stab my staff into the ground charing at the cat to give him a welcoming hug, lunging at him. I was easily avoided, he only sidestepped and watched me dive by.

"You're both so welcoming, I appretiate that."

Zerato growled softly, I sensed that he withdrew his magic and became less agressive, but I just let out a groan as I hit the ground again.

"I swear..me and the ground are going to be great friends.."

I don't think they heard me. I hope no one heard me.

"What's your name cat?"

Zerato said sharply, I heard the cat chuckle.. was he laughing at me? My ears perk up and I sit up quickly and watch him.

"My name is Druk Raeon, pleased to meet you both."

He bowed a bit, he seems like a great guy. Maybe I can get along with him better than Zerato, cause he clearly doesn't like me. Druk offered a paw to me, I grab it and pull myself up.

"Thanks, Druk. My name is David Tsukaro!"

I quickly give Druk the hug I intended to give, Druk chuckled softly and hugged me back. Zerato crossed his arms and started to walk away, his tail didn't even wag or sway, like it was stiff or something.

"I'm Zerato Asus.."

"You're an awfully friendly one, David. I think we'll get along just fine."

He glanced over to Zerato with a smirk letting go of me.

"And I'm sure Zerato and I will get along fine as well."

I heard Zerato snort.

"Let's just go.."
