Final Showdown, part 1
#1 of eXplorers: Aftermath
This is one part of a chapter I'm writing.
Let me explain.
'eXplorers' is a fanfic based on the ever populair Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series.
I was so inspired by their adventures (I own a game) that I started to write a fanfic!
Here's a snippet of the story.

Unregistered Chapter: Final Showdown, part 1
After battling with Temporal Tower's defense systems, Ryo ( Blaziken , Male), Zudan ( Absol , Male) and Mica ( Ninetales , Female) arrived at the summit.
They entered a big hall with pillars that look like the ones of Ancient Greek - in the back was the throne of King Kiku Takudo ( Dialga , Male, ruler of the land Okoku), and behind it was a stone wall painting with 5 holes in it, 4 representing a Time Gear, one representing a scepter.
"Finally, we've made it." said Mica.
"But it's totally empty!" said Ryo.
"I don't like the looks of this..." said Zudan nervously.
The summit was indeed empty. Mica, Ryo and Zudan explored the summit for clues why the place was empty, unaware that they are being spied. Mica walked towards the painting. Somehow looked it familiar for Mica.
"You guys...I think I found something. Maybe it's the solution to stop the Great Cataclysm!"
The guys ran over and gasped at the painting.
"I think I've read something about this painting. The book said that to restore the world the 4 Time Gears along with the current King's scepter must be put in these holes."
"Then why are we waiting?" said Ryo. "Let's search for that-"
"Hold on, Ryo. There's more." interrupted Mica. "If the King ever is hurt or defeated during a battle, the Tower will collapse and it will accelerate the destruction of the world!"
"But what do we have to do with these 4 Gears? The worlds destiny is at stake!" said Zudan.
"I don't know," said Mica as she stepped towards the painting. "but we have to do something."
Suddenly, Mica got hit by a indigo blast. The blast was so powerful, that it knocked Mica off the summit, downwards the foot.
" MICA!" shouted Ryo.
The boys ran to the edge to see if she survived the blast, but no luck.
Suddenly, they heard a evil laugh echoing.
"You've made it!" said a dark voice. "I'm very impressed."
The sound of one person applauding echoes. The boys, filled with rage, looked around to locate where the sound is.
"However," the voice continues. "you have made it to the summit alive, but you won't leave here..."
The frightfully sound of thunder echoed. The Tower started to quake, and so does the summit. The clouds that circulates the middle of the Tower turned dark and strike thunder upwards and downwards.
"If you wish to challenge me..." said the voice.
Then, as it was nothing, turned everything dark.
"I can't see!" said Ryo. "Zudan, where are you?"
"I'm standing next to you!" said Zudan.
"...then bring it on!"
"Ryo, on you left! Duck!" screamed Zudan.
Another indigo blast was fired, but this time was it aimed at Ryo. Quickly dodged Ryo just in time.
This time, the blast has enough power to wipe the darkness away.
"Look!" said Ryo. "It's King Kiku!"
"That's not King Kiku, something has changed." said Zudan worried as he took a better look.
"Ryo, the diamond! It's color is dark red!"
"I am Primal. I will kill you." said Primal. "I will kill all that stands in my way!"
Primal quickly fired Flamethrower at Zudan, but he counter attacked with Dark Pulse. The explosion gave them enough time to separate
"We must stop him! The world and his live depends on it!" shouted Zudan.
"But what about what Mica said?" shouted Ryo back.
"Saving other lives is priority! Standard Gulid code, or did you forget?"
"No! I'm just saying!"
Quickly ran Ryo and Zudan behind a pillar for cover.
"We need a plan!" said Ryo.
"Right! You attack him from behind, I'll distract as long as I can!"
Zudan ran towards the center of the floor.
"Hey Primal!" shouted Zudan. "Your Flamethrower was compared with a Magmar's Flamethrower nothing but a Ember!"
" Super..." Primal generated a massive boulder of a rock to do serious damage. He aimed at Zudan. Zudan could defend himself but just stood there like it was nothing. " ...power!" The massive rock went with a amazing speed towards Zudan. Just at the last moment counter attacked Zudan with Strength.
"Great! Primal is distracted. Now is my chance to attacked him." said Ryo.
He ran with hi-speed at Primal and jumped up high. "Inferno Tornado!" he said as he started to turn around, developing himself in flames. The attack almost succeeded, but Primal was just one step ahead. Ryo stopped turning and his flames were distinguished, like it was frozen in time. It was Primal's Psychic. He was now in control of Ryo's body.
Primal looked at Ryo and said: "_ Pheh. _ What a silly display of attack and strategy. Look at your friend. He paid the ultimate price."
Ryo looked over Primal's shoulder. He couldn't believe his eyes - Zudan lay down there like he was killed.
Without mercy, Primal sent Ryo flying to a pillar.
Upon contact crumbled the pillar on Ryo, leaving him buried under the rubble.
At that point, Zudan was revived by a Reviver Seed he had hidden in his pocket. He looked at the crumbled pillar. He saw Ryo's feet sticking out.
"NO! RYO!" screamed Zudan with tears in his eyes.
Again was the evil laughter of Primal the only thing that could be heard though the area.
