#3 of Laurel's Story

Note: This is fanfic based on the Legion of Super-Heroes comic book.

Background: In the 30th Century of the DC Universe, a group of young heroes has banded together from many planets to form the Legion of Super-Heroes! Now, in the dusk before their darkest hour, the Legion's morale is starting to crumble amidst political turmoil, and one of their former members returns bearing a dark secret.

_ What Has Gone Before: Affected by the rare material zuunium, the superheroine Laurel Gand, one of the Legion's strongest members, has found herself transformed into a wolf-like being covered with golden fur. These changes are hard for her to take, and she flees the Legion's rec room after an insensitive remark. Salu Digby, the Legionnaire called Shrinking Violet, followed Laurel to her room, where the two former teammates had a fun sexual romp that took a dangerous turn as the wolven woman swallows her tiny friend whole._

Three Days Ago...

The massive Khundish battlewagon abruptly pulled back from the small UP supply ship at maximum reverse thrust, just as the order came from the battlewagon's science womb to detonate the zuunium bomb. "Forward blast fields holding at 24% percent," reported the defense officer from the bridge, his words relayed directly to the earpiece of Throkuna Krug, Lady General of the Khundian Scientific Corps and the true commander of this mission.

Krug rocked back in her seat, studying the multiple panels surrounding her inside her monitor sphere. She rotated the chair through a full 360 degrees, taking in at a glance what other, less competent scientists could take decades to study. Throkuna Krug frowned.

"Bomb detonated, showing near-total destruction of the target!" exclaimed the distant weapons officer, buzzing annoyingly in Throkuna's ear as she scanned the explosion with the backup sensor array. Cheers went up over the inter-ship communications bands. "The she-demon is dead!" [3] "Victory to Khundia!" Throkuna leaned in closer and barked the harshest curse in the Khundish language, one which she had spent three years in the most advanced linguistics university of the Empire to master, just in case she ever need it some day. Today was that day.

For multiple monitors confirmed exactly what she'd feared: Flying straight out of the golden-orange burst cloud of the UP ship was a single humanoid figure, moving at a sizeable fraction of the speed of light. And likely pissed as hell.

Up on the bridge, the hapless weapons officer had a split second when he noticed the incoming human-sized projectile, not nearly enough to raise a pinpoint defense shield or even sound a klaxon in warning before the Daxamite buckled the blast fields and tore through bulkhead after bulkhead in the center of the starship. The entire battlewagon shuddered and groaned as the automatic alarms kicked in, reporting hull breaches and serious buckling in the Khundish ship's midsection.

Krug glanced briefly at the internal schematic for Gand's progress, but already knew. The Daxamite she-demon was heading right for the science womb, and Throkuna turned her chair to face her head-on as Laurel tore through the wall of her monitor sphere.

Her blue and red costume in tatters and her fury evident on her face, Laurel moved with a speed that no normal Khund could follow, yanking the Khundish woman out of her chair by the collar of her military uniform. "WHY?" she bellowed in anger and rage. "All those people, and you killed them, just for what? A plot against me that didn't even WORK?"

Throkuna Krug, a muscular and heavy Khundish woman with pink skin and a shaven bald head, was not used to being lifted of the ground by anyone, let alone the sworn enemy of all Khundia. However, she prided herself on being a scientist first, a warrior second, and neither of those professions would allow her to react with fear to the she-demon. She glanced over Laurel's shoulder calmly, noting the trail of destruction as the super-powered Daxamite tunneled her way through the battlewagon's bowels, the purple hull breach shields just barely now flickering on. She looked back at Gand and calmly said, "We'd killed them anyway. Using their corpses in my trap was simply prudent use of resources."

"Monster!" cried Gand, throwing Krug against the back of the monitor sphere, shattering the panels. Krug's armored uniform absorbed most of the blow as she slid down the side of the cracked monitors, but she knew she'd be sore for the next week -- if she survived the next 30 seconds, that is.

Then Throkuna's eyes opened wide as she looked up at the Daxamite towering over her in fury. "Teeth of the demon..." she said. "That's -- unexpected, and fascinating" The scientist in Krug was still dominant, as observed a startling change in Laurel Gand. With most of the Daxamite's tanned skin exposed by the tatters of her uniform, Krug was able to see golden hair -- fur? -- visibly growing longer and longer from her legs, her arms, her stomach, and even her face. What's more, Gand's face began to push outward, her sneer turning into a snarl resembling an alien beast, the likes of which Throkuna had never seen before.

The blonde ex-Legionnaire herself appeared unaware of the changes in herself, and growled down at Krug, "'Fascinating?' Oh, great, now even the Khunds are speaking like HIM!" She leaned down and picked up Throkuna with her left hand, and drew her right hand back to ready a punch that could shatter small moons. "I ought to --"

Then Laurel looked down at her left hand. Apart from the tattered red cuff of her uniform, Laurel's forearm was bare -- except it wasn't. Thick, golden fur had sprouted all along her arm, and her fingers had changed to become more claw-like, sharp points where her fingernails should be. She gasped in shock. "What have you done to me?" she said, dropping Throkuna once more and looking down at her arms, legs, and the parts of her torso exposed by the bomb blast.

Krug laughed cruelly. "Demon bitch, you'll get no answers from me." She reached to activate the self-destruct microgrenade she carried at her belt, sacrificing herself for the glory of the Khundish Empire. "For Khundia!" she exclaimed, not managing to get the last syllable out before a whoosh of wind blew past her belt. Even in her shock, the ex-Legionnaire moved fast enough to snatch the explosive from Throkuna's belt, crushing it in her hands which, even in their furry state, managed to completely contain the explosion.

"Idiot Khund," Laurel growled, her words distorted by the new shape of her mouth. "No more deaths today. However, I'm not adverse to dealing out pain when appropriate..." She showed her teeth almost instinctively; sharp, pointed canines which Krug's encyclopedic store of knowledge allowed her to identify as resembling those of a Terran wolf. "...again, what did you do to me?"

Krug spat in her furry face. "You may have denied me a glorious death for the Empire, but I still defy you. Although, quite frankly, you should consider this a blessing. Your looks have improved considerably, Daxamite dog, especially around the face."

Growling with confusion, Laurel muttered, "My face?" and looked at a cracked monitor panel. Around fourteen identical lupine of differing sizes stared back at her, blinked, and then scowled in anger. "You turned me into an animal!" she roared at the Khundish scientist.

Krug laughed again, despite the danger. "You always were a monster, you stupid child. You killed my intended at Ricklef II. I may not be able to kill you, but at last the rest of the galaxy will see you for the terror you truly are."

The mention of her asteroid home, where Laurel's entire family had been slaughtered, was enough to set her anger over the edge. Throkuna gritted her teeth, silently praying for the demon mother to give her a command post in the eternal battle of the afterlife, as Laurel picked her up with two hands once more.

But then, without a conscious thought on the matter, acting purely from rage and impulse, the Daxamite did something which shocked even Throkuna Krug, as it was far outside the range of any scenarios she'd calculated over the last 2 months. Laurel Gand opened her mouth, and the dark maw gaped wider, and wider, and wider still.

Thirty Seconds Ago:

Shrinking Violet moaned in delight as her friend's tongue wrapped around her and pulled her into Laurel's wolven muzzle. Her costume had been abandoned long ago, when they started to play, and thus she could feel the large, wet tongue against her bare skin. Her head pressed toward the back of Laurel's mouth, small breasts rubbing against the warm muscle on which she reclined.

Laurel tried to say something as she pressed Vi against the roof of her mouth, sending a rumbling through the miniature Imskian's body that felt extra nice. Yes, there were definite advantages to Laurel's new form, Vi thought to herself, rockick her hips to grind against the tip of Laurel's tongue.

Not that Salu only liked Laurel's tongue; she'd been fascinated by the idea of human-like animals ever since she'd come across the concept in Cosmic Boy's old historical records. When she was with Duplicate Boy, she'd tried to get him to duplicate shape-shifting powers and take the form of an anthropomorphic creature, but he lacked the imagination to do so, typical of Ord. Of course, there were always alien races which resembled animals to some degree or another, but Vi was a Legionnaire, a public figure, and couldn't simply go out and find some dog-headed chippie and bring him back to the clubhouse for a romp. No matter how much she wanted to.

So when Laurel showed up from Medicus One, looking for all the world like a golden wolf, Vi could barely contain herself. Sure, she'd played with Laurel once before, when Brainiac 5 had gone mad -- well, one of the time -- and had shut Laurel out of her life, but ever since then the tall blonde had rebuffed Vi's later offers. Politely, and they'd remained friends, of course.

But Brainy had quit the Legion last year, in the wake of the Daxam Conspiracy fallout, and Salu was between playtoys now. Ever since she'd been held captive by Imskian separatists and replaced in the Legion, Salu had grown more open and direct about her sexuality, taking any number of lovers.

So far, though, none had matched the sheer animal attraction, no pun intended, that she felt for the newly wolven Laurel Gand.

"Gods, when did she get so good with her tongue?" Violet thought, as the very end of Laurel's tongue folded on itself and pressed into her tight, shaven slit. She groaned in pleasure, pumping her hips up and down inside Laurel's muzzle as the lupine ex-Legionnaire closed her mouth.

Violet reached her climax just as she felt the world moving around her, turning her upside down. Her pussy continued to clench and throb in pleasure even as that tongue slipped from her and she felt a tight squeeze surrounding her whole body, dragging her downward, head first.

Three Days Ago:

Laurel wasn't even thinking about what she was doing. Some inner impulse had taken ahold of her, cutting off conscious thought. A blinding rage mixed with what she would later identify as a gnawing hunger. And brought on by both of those sensations, her muzzle and upper body had began to change.

Her shoulders grew broader; her fur grew even thicker. Her muzzle stretched broad across her face, her very skull reshaping itself and growing in size, drawing on internal stores of yellow sunlight in Laurel's super-powered cells. Her arms became thicker than their normal well-muscled tone, and her neck widened to be almost as broad as her shoulders themselves. And her maw gaped open impossibly wide, several feet of slathering, hungry wolf mouth.

That hunger within her prompted her to only one action: She held Throkuna Krug by the shoulders and forced the Khundish woman's head into her open mouth. Her jaws tensed around Krug's neck, but rather than chomp down, Laurel lifted her off the ground, upside down, and lowered more of alien scientist into her mouth. Her immensely broad tongue lapped over Krug's face and the chest of her uniform, as Laurel fed the Khund to herself.

Gazing into the darkness of a huge throat before her, Throkuna's fear overcame her shock and disbelief, and she tried to struggle, only to find her arms held tightly by the she-demon's mouth. Her feet kicked helplessly in the air above her, and her cries were washed away by the hungry growl of the Daxamite wolf-woman -- or the growl of her stomach -- as powerful throat muscles tensed around the Khund and pulled her into darkness.

Laurel swallowed again, and the Khund's legs slipped between her huge jaws, then down her throat, Throkuna Krug forced into a cramped ball inside Laurel's invulnerable, massively distended furry belly, which sagged from the huge weight of someone nearly as large as Laurel herself within it. And as she swallowed her prey, Laurel slumped to the ground, overcome by a sudden, unexpected, and amazingly strong orgasm rocking through her entire body.

Now:

Laurel let out a howl of ecstasy -- literally, a howl -- as she felt her golden-furred body tense and then release in a wonderful climax. "Oh, Vi..." she moaned softly, thinking of her friend -- and then she froze, realizing what she'd just done.

Her tongue probed the recesses of her mouth, behind her teeth, back toward her throat, in the little cavern under her tongue. "Moons of Daxam!" she exclaimed. "I -- I swallowed her! *choke*"

Her hands went to her belly as tears started to well in her eyes. "No! Violet! I can't have!"

Just then, she felt a tiny tingle below her belly fur just between her hands, and blinking once to clear the tears, she switched to micro- and penetra-vision, and was startled to see a tiny Shrinking Violet emerging from between the cells of her stomach, using her Legion flight ring to provide movement as she shrunk in the gaps between molecules and emerged again on this side of Laurel's stomach.

Violet navigated her way to the base of a fur follicle and grew up along the shaft of hair, emerging from Laurel's body and regaining height from microscopic size. First Laurel's fur was a single huge column, then an immense forest of columns, then waist-high field of golden grass, and then finally just a soft padded lawn as she returned to six inches tall atop of her worried friend's belly.

"Vi! You're okay!" Laurel growled.

Salu Digby laughed. "Laurel, of course I am. I'm the Legion's Shrinking Violet, I do this for a living. If I had to fear simply getting eaten by someone, I wouldn't have lasted nearly twenty years in this business, right?"

Laurel Gand looked sheepish, an odd expression for a wolf woman, and nodded.

Violet winked. "But you gotta be more careful when you play, Laurel. I know they say that good girls swallow, but that's just ridiculous." She laughed.

Laurel laughed it off too, after a moment's hesitation. "Yeah, um, sorry about that. Accident and all. Ha. Sorry Vi." She patted her tiny friend gently with a furred finger.

Except Laurel wasn't sure it WAS just an accident...

Footnotes:

[3] Laurel isn't a demon, of course, just a super-powered Daxamite, an alien race related to Kryptonians. To the Khunds, though, she is the spawn of hell sent to destroy those who are not strong enough to serve the demon mother of the Khunds.
