My Werewolf Life Ch. 6
The next chapter of my story. Letra is now in training as a werewolf to see what weapon is best for her.
Chapter 6: Training day.
Moring came as the other got everything set up for training as I helped a bit last night. As I stayed by my mates side most of the night. As she woke up checking out the room and saw me sitting in a chair snoring loud. She gave a smile and moved sitting at the side of the bed. As she looked down seeing her wolf legs and bushy tail, she rubbed the side of her face realizing she now is a werewolf. As light reflected in her fur shined showing bits of silver.
As she got up she feels down not used to her new legs. As I woke up from hearing the fall.
"Ouch.... Why can't I walk?!?!"
I got up and picked her up setting her on the edge of the bed.
"You're not used to it because it will take a bit until you get the hang of walking. It shouldn't take long though."
She nodded at me.
"Now.... I thought of a few names and I want to see if you like them."
"Okay, what do you have?"
"Well I thought maybe Lakota, Ember, or well.... Letra."
She smiled and nuzzled me.
"I like Letra love. That's what I want to be called." She smiled at me.
I gave her a smile and a kiss on the lips.
"I'm happy you're a werewolf now... Letra." I said with a smile back.
As I got up I help her get up so she can try walking a bit.
"Alright it's time to get you up and walking. We are going to be training to today. You'll not like it but we need to get you trained so if something happens you can protect yourself."
She nodded as we walked to the door and headed into the living room where everyone was. Waiting for me and Letra to come on out. As Letra was starting to get used to walking with my help as support right now, we both came and sat down.
"So... have we got a name now?" Said Silver.
I nodded at him.
"We both came to Letra."
Caylnn smiled knowing she would like that name.
"Sounds good. She does know what we are doing today now right?"
"Yes, I told her I'm going to walk with her a bit so she is used to walking and then get to training then."
Silver nodded, knowing it's a good idea to learn the walking part first.
As I helped her back up, me and her left the house and took a walk on the trail we had leading into the woods. We walked for a while as I let her go. She stumbled a bit on her own and started getting used to it and started running, leading to being on all fours. As I chased her down as she stopped and panted really hard not used to all of the energy we can used up.
I tackled her and smiled.
"Gotta love" I smiled.
She smiled back and wrapped her arms around me and pulled me down. Her breast made a space where I wasn't able to be completely close to her. As I wrap my arms around her. I stared into her blue eyes as she stared into my red ones.
We both went together kissing each other lovingly as I started to get excited and broke our kiss.
"Letra... love.... I want to so bad right now... but I want to make sure we are able to train to day."
She sat up next to me and smiled.
"Its... okay love. Maybe later. After my training maybe."
I looked at her and smiled.
"Maybe..." I nuzzled her and smiled as we both got up walking back to the house holding each others paw.
As we both walked back to the house Silver and the others were standing there waiting for us.
"Well love... its time."
I let go of her paw and walked up to Silver, as she followed.
Silver came up next to her and handed her a long sword. As she took the sword and was directed to the training center, she took her stance. As silver took his stance and nodded.
"Now Letra, we are now training to see what weapon you can use. You will start with the long sword first. Now come at me, I can't be hurt that bad, if you do hurt me we can get it healed all up. Now... Attack!!!"
Letra growled and charged lifting the sword with a swing, nearly missing herself in hurting her as Silver dodge the attack. Going easy on the new wolf. They kept on doing the same thing over and over, as she kept failing and almost hurting her with the sword.
"Okay I seen enough with the sword. It doesn't seem you are able to wield a sword. Now Shadow will see how you do with daggers. After you watch Liki and Shadow fight each other. I want to give you a chance to see how we train."
Letra nodded slowly with a bit of disappointment.
"Liki... Shadow... comes into the ring."
The two of use enter the ring, as I held my dragged one forward and the other one backwards. As my brother Silver taught me how to do this. Liki held the daggers both backwards. As he used the more of the new ways style.
"Start!!!" Silver shouted out.
I was the first to go as Liki charged back. Our daggers cling and made a few sparks from the hit. As we kept up at it we didn't get a scratch on use over the years of use training. We kept up the fight as we both now were told to stop.
I stand there panting softly as Liki did the same. I nodded at him as I put my daggers in my holsters, and stood there waiting for round two with my wife now.
Liki went back and sat down as Kira came outside.
"Dad.... Who is the lady?"
"That's your Aunt Letra."
"Oh... you miss so much by sleeping a few days." Silver gave a smile to that.
She ran off and played close by.
"Letra... lets now see since you watch Liki and Shadow train. I want to see if you can handle daggers."
Silver handed her Liki's daggers that he handed over for training.
"Now.... Get ready..."
I got ready holding my daggers like I did last time. Letra not used to holding daggers held them both forward.
"Fight!!!"
I charged at her as she was off guard as she tried defending herself but was sent to the ground. I came back over and helped her up. This time she was focus and tried again after fifteen minutes. It looked like daggers were not meant for her. Since her stance was wrong and wasn't holding the weapon the most proper way.
"Silver, Shadow..... I don't think I'm getting anywhere. We had been at this for a few hours. I know the sword isn't me, daggers isn't now. What more can I do?"
Caylnn walked over.
"Well..." As she was speaking I and the others set up dummies.
"Well.... You can try archery. Here try my compound bow."
Letra held it and was handed a few arrows. Caylnn had her own bow she used and put the arrow on the string. As she held back and spoke.
"When you shot the arrow force on the target. Let your mind go of everything around you when you going to shoot. Just enough to focus on your target."
After that was said she shot her arrow at the dummy aimed at the heart. Letra was amazed and tried. She pulled the string back with the arrow on it, and let go.
The arrow went to the dummy but into the stomach. She went wide eyed and she tried again and again. Till she had no arrows left. All the arrows landed all in every single dummy all mostly in the stomach to chest area.
Silver came over to Letra and smiled.
"Looks like the bow is your best field." He smiled and gave her a small hug.
I came over with a smile, as she smiled back she tackled me dropping the bow and kissed me as I fell on my back.
"Congrats love, now with more and more training you'll be ready to defend yourself and find ways to use that bow as a weapon the just shooting arrows." I smiled and hugged her as I lied on the ground.
The others were getting everything picked up and all organized as a storm was on its way.
"All right you love bird.... Help us get everything in the garage. I hate being out in storms." Silver said.
We both nodded and got up helping get everything cleaned up and put away, as the storm was getting closer and closer.
