It must have been at least ten minutes. Ten strenuous minutes of eyes locked onto eyes. Shaun's eyes were filled with a mixture of fear, confusion, and wonder. The same could be said with the eyes he was focused on, minus the fear. Jess managed to break the silence.

"Uh...welcome...we mean you no harm." The human simply stared back for a few more moments until he managed to raise an arm and squeak out.

"H-Hi." For some strange reason he found himself growing more and more at ease each passing moment. He wasn't sure if it was the fact that the faces of each being was filled with awe and amazement rather than hate and maliciousness, the fact that they were about the same as humans with the exception of the obvious, or if it was the husky that had made him speechless the moment he saw her in his friends drawing. He backed up a little bit when he notice them start to get up. When they were on their feet it was then he was able to get a better look at them. The first thing he noticed, besides the fact they had fur and such, was that each was a good foot taller than him with the exception of the T-rex woman, who he knew would dwarf him had she the ability to stand at her full height. As he started to back up some more, he felt the back of his foot hit something that caused him to fall backwards at which he closed his eyes and braced for impact. Before he hit the ground he felt a pair of arms stop him from making a connection with the floor. When he opened his eyes, he again found them lock on to that of the Husky's who he now realized was Jessica.

"Are you ok?" Jessica said. As she held him, her heart was pounding. The one person she wished she could meet was currently nestled in her arms. She gave everything she had to hold back the urges she had been building up the moments she saw him.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine." His fear and apprehension had all but disappeared as he was held in her arms. Something in the back of his mind was telling him this was right, that this was fate.

Before she lost the battle with her urges, Jess helped him and dusted him off. She then gestured him to the couch.

"I think we should explain a few things to each other." Shaun nervously nodded his head as he walked over to the sofa to sit down

The four beings sat opposite him, three on the other couch and one on the floor, as he explained everything that happened to him and how he must have got here, he also explained how he knew Jess's name and about the furry fandom in his world, which got a few smug looks from the others.

"Well, I guess I'm more popular than I thought" Gloated Tina before she felt and elbow in the side accompanied by a "shh" After he was done explaining everything he could it was now Shaun's turn to be enlightened. His eyes were wide in awe as they explained everything about their world, and I mean everything. The smoothie fandom, macros, fetishes, the differences physically compared to humans such as height, strength, speed and the obvious fur, tail, etc, and everything else they could possibly feed into the humans head.

"WOW, I just....wow. I have to admit your world is amazing."

"I guess that means you're not afraid of us anymore?" Asked Beth, which was a little ironic considering what species she was. Shaun looked up at the T-rex woman and said.

"Well, I'll admit, I'm still a little nervous. But I feel I'm getting better." Beth than replaced her last expression with a more seductive one.

"That's good. Besides once you're here for awhile, you'll find out that we can be very...friendly." She said with a bit of a hiss. Shaun's face went red at the way she said friendly but he also started shaking a bit due to the fact that a T-rex was the one who said it. He quickly cleared his throat and spoke up.

"One thing I don't understand."

"Yeah, what's that?" Inquired Tina

"You say that 85% of the male population...is BI?"

"Yep." Said Tina "And it's the same thing for women." Shaun just shook his head a bit.

"I mean, how is that possible?" It was once again Jess to speak.

"Well while that is true, it safe to assume that majority of that percentage prefers woman over men by about 80% while the rest is the opposite. But most men have no problem in having sexual relations with other men. How it worked out that way, we're not sure, but as you probably know Anthro's are very tolerant when it comes to sex. It's also not uncommon for relationships to involve 3-6 people. It's not to say we can't be with one person for long periods of time, but its so people can have relations with both genders....I'm pretty sure I explained that right." Shaun thought about it for a minute.

"So it's safe to say that the population isn't decreasing due to same sex relation ships?"

"Oh far from it." piped up Tony. "I once was with a guy who was also a father of 3, so no worries about population numbers." Shaun was shocked.

"HE WAS A FATHER!? What did his wife think?"

"What did she think?" laughed the Doberman. "She was the one holding the camera. They're still happily married too. Sometimes his wife calls me up to give him some manly love. I tell you that woman loves to watch us go at it." At that moment Tony placed his hand upon his cheek and began to reminisce about all the times he's had with that particular couple. Meanwhile his human fantasy was thinking about something else.

"What am I going do about clothes and other stuff? I can't really wear what's-" before he could finish a bright flash was seen coming from somewhere in the house accompanied by the sound of an electrical surge.

"What the hell was that!?" remarked Tina, the shark hiding behind the sofa, the same one that Shaun was using to take refuge. Tina looked down at the human who in turned returned the glance. They both stared a couple of minutes before the human looked away with an embarrassed look on his face while Tina had a mischievous smirk. She looked at Shaun for a little longer before she remembered what happened. "It looked like the flash came from that spare room you had added, Jess." The Husky got up from the couch and cautiously made her way to the door where the flash had emanated from. She flung open the door and was shocked to find a whole bedroom had appeared in the empty space. She looked around a bit until she noticed a photo on the night stand.

"Uh...Shaun? I don't think you have to worry about clothes...or any other stuff for that mater." Shaun got up from his hiding place and went over to the husky. When he got a good look at what was inside, his jaw dropped at what he saw. All his stuff, not just his bedroom, but everything he owned when he left for his trip, was sitting inside. All his fishing gear, CDS, DVDS, guitar, drum set, everything was there.

"I guess that means I'm here to stay." He said with a smirk, albeit a surprised smirk.

"And you're ok with that?" Jess was ecstatic to hear him say that, but she wasn't sure if he meant it. He thought about all the things he learned and said.

"Yeah...I think I can handle living here. The only person I'm going to miss is my friend Jack."

"Not even your family?" Shaun huffed a bit.

"My family is so screwed up; they probably forgot I even existed." At that moment, the husky he was standing beside bent down a bit and wrapped her arms around him.

"I'm glad that you're staying and I'm sorry that if it was my fault you got here. I know you saw the picture that showed your accident." At that moment tears began to form and she began to sob softly. "I know it was my fault...you got here." Before she could say anything else she was surprised to find a pair of furless arms wrap around her. Shaun got up on his toes to bring himself more to Jess' height as he embraced her.

"It wasn't your fault...I just know it. At first, I thought it was. But after each passing second I've been here, something in my mind has been telling me that everything is as it should be. I can't explain it, but I feel like I belong here." Jess relaxed her arms as she let the human go and looked into his eyes with a "you mean it?" look. Shaun just smiled warmly as he took his finger and wiped away some of the tears from her fur. The other three were looking back, holding back tears as well. It was then Beth noticed something in the driveway. She crawled her way over to the window and looked outside. What she saw was a car she had never seen before in this world. It was black and fairly big compared to most cars. She then noticed the words on the side.

"Dodge Charger, what's that?" Shaun's eyes went wide and at that moment he rushed to the window Beth was looking from. Sitting in the drive way was his 1968 Dodge Charger.

"Now I know I won't have a problem living here. As long as that baby's with me, I can live really comfortable." It was then Beth looked down at him.

"One thing...when would you ever be able to drive it? If people saw you then who knows what would happen." Shaun slumped over in a bit of depression. Quickly, the T-Rex placed a consoling claw on his shoulder. "But I'm sure we can figure something out sometime" Shaun was about to say thank you when he was grabbed up by a pair of muscled, black and brown furred arms.

"That's absolutely right!" Tony exclaimed. "We'll figure something out. Your car looks like it's got a bit of power under the hood and it would be a shame to let it go to waist." Shaun managed to pry himself loose from his prison and made his way into his new room, as he began looking over it to see if everything was there.

Jack waited by the telephone as he waited for a call from the police. It would seem that his late friends' possessions had mysteriously disappeared. He jumped with a start when the phone came to life.

"This is the Miami police department, we calling in regards to stolen property."

"Yes? Did you find anything?"

"No I'm sorry; we can't seem to locate any evidence that it even existed. It's been three months since you filled the report and I'm sorry to say, we're going to call it off."

"I see....thanks for trying."

"Have a nice day." And with that, the other end had been disconnected. Jack sat there, the receiver still in his hand. He was in a trance like state until the sudden buzzing in the receiver told him to hang up. He got up from his chair and walked to the window. He looked out onto the ocean and said.

"I'm sorry Shaun. It looks like I won't be able to fulfill our promise."

Everyone was crowded inside the new bedroom. Jessica was flipping through a series of human history books as Beth was more preoccupied with the fiction novels and DVDs Tina was fumbling through stacks of CD's while Tony was inside Shaun's dresser.

"Look at all this info. I wonder if any of the stuff we created, matches what's inside here." Jessica had a notebook and was scribbling down notes for her next project.

"Let's see here, Coheed and Cambria, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, Dire Straights, Lynyrd Skynryd, and My Chemical Romance. These are some interesting names." Tina stated looking over at Beth.

"Yeah but check out some of the videos they have. Back to the Future, Army of Darkness, Out Cold, Super Troopers.....Beetlejuice?" Beth cocked any eyebrow at the last one.

"Hey, they may have weird names, but that's not the case." Said Shaun from on top of his bed, a large pile of photos sat in front of him. "It's not the name that matters, it's what it titles." Beth and Tina nodded, while the Husky sat herself beside the human.

"So what are you looking at?"

"Oh, I'm just looking at some photos. You don't know how happy I am to have them seeing as...I won't ever have a chance to see the real places again." He said with a sad tone. Jess nodded her head. "But that's ok, I'll get over it. I got a whole new world to explore." Jess looked at him with a stern face.

"That's after we figure out a way to get you outside without people seeing that you're a human."

"Right, after we figure that out." He laughed nervously before he went searching among the pile. He picked up a handful of them and began to show them to Jess. After a while the others stopped what they were doing and huddled around the human, looking at all the photos from his world. "This is a place called Niagara Falls, and here's New York City....oh here's one of the Statue of Liberty." After a while of searching through photos of places, they soon got to more personal photos, ones of people. Shaun told them who they were and all the things they did until he got to a particular photo that made Shaun pause for a long time until he was asked if he was alright. "Oh.....yeah I'm fine...this is my...friend, Jack" He handed the photo over to Jess. "I guess I should say, he's your creator, Jess." She looked at the photo like she was studying for a test. Shaun meanwhile, began to reminisce. "He was like a brother to me. I remember all the times he helped me when I was in trouble, backed me up whenever I got into fights, and get me into trouble." He laughed at the last little bit. "Oh man, not a day goes by that I don't think about all the little adventures we had as kids and all the pranks we'd play on each other. I remember the time when we went to the beach and I let him bury me up to my neck. As soon as he was done, a woman in a tight little bikini walked by and he soon joined her in her walk along the beach. He had forgotten all about me and I was there for about six hours. I was just thankful I wasn't by the surf." Shaun looked back at the photo after everyone had seen it. "Of course I got him back. I filled his car with shaving cream!" He was laughing harder than before until he noticed the looks on his new friends' faces. "Oh, I'll explain what shaving cream is later." He looked back at the photo for a couple of minutes before a couple of tears began to fall. "I'm sure gonna miss him." Jess wrapped her arm around him for comfort as he began to realize that he would truly never see his friend, again.
