A moan made Jelanda turn as Yuri opened his eyes.

"Yuri, are you okay?"

He looked around to see he was outside in a small clump of trees. Letting out a grunt, he sat up as his head pounded.

"What happened?" Yuri said as he felt the bandage over his head.

"After you beat that creature, strange black smoke like tentacles came from it and entered your body knocking you out. Orson picked you up and we left the cave and found this place not to far and decided to let you rest. You got a nasty gash on your forehead so you may be dizzy for a bit."

Yuri looked up at the night sky as he groaned.

"How long was I out for?"

"A couple of hours so we're going to move again early tomorrow."

"I'm sorry for making you wait. You should've left without me."

"Don't talk like that. You saved Orson's life. There's no way I'm leaving you."

"But we're wasting time waiting for me. I never should've come."

Jelanda looked at him as she raised his chin looking him in the eyes.

"Yuri, you need to have faith. I know time is important but it would be for nothing if we die before even reaching our destination."

Yuri looked at her as those beautiful eyes pierced his.

"Your right. Please forgive my weakness princess."

"Its okay. Get some rest cause we leave early." Jelanda said getting up.

Yuri laid back down putting his head on his arms. Just what was that dream he had and what was that thing he fought. His head pounded making him grunt in discomfort. He closed his eyes as sleep hit him quickly.

*********

"Looks like we head north west," Yuri said holding his sword into the air as the sword created that strange beam of light.

"Okay, lets go." Jelanda said.

They headed off towards the northwest, hopes held high. Yuri's mind kept going back to what he saw in that dream.

"Just what did that dream mean?" Yuri said to himself.

"Is something wrong Yuri?" Jelanda said catching up.

"Its nothing princess. No need to worry."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive. Besides, you have more to worry about then my silly dreams."

Jelanda looked worried but didn't press the situation. The grass surface they were travelling on slowly turned to rust red dirt.

"Such a baron land," Orson said looking around.

They travelled a little further as nothing but sand was around them.

"Where do we go? If we keep going, we'll end up getting lost," one of the two remaining knights said, a black wolf.

"I agree. Yuri, we can't keep going like this." Orson said.

Yuri took out his sword and held it into the air as the beam pointed down. He stopped and looked around.

"That's strange. Its pointing down but I don't see a path.

"Over here," the scond knight said, a brown rabbit. "Look down there."

They trotted over to see a small temple in the canyon wall. Yuri held his sword up as the beam pointed inside.

"We have to go down there, but how?" Jelanda asked.

"The cliff," the wolf said.

Everybody looked to the right to see a narrow cliff leading down.

"That looks very narrow. We'll have to walk the horses down," Orson said.

"We can't. The cliff is too narrow for that. We'll have to leave the horses here." Yuri said.

"Are you crazy? They'll die from lack of water." Orson said.

"Not really." Yuri said pointing to a small oasis not far from them.

They headed over and got off as Yuri hugged Argo.

"I'll be back soon buddy. Stay out of trouble."

Getting a drink themselves, they walked back and started to descend the narrow path down the cliff.

"Please watch your step princess," Orson said easing his way down.

"I know Orson."

Jelanda felt a breeze rush past her making her stop and shiver. Her thoughts returned to the time on the bridge when it collasped. Her concentration broke as a rock gave way making her fall with a yelp. She had her eyes closed waiting for the end which she didn't want to see. When nothing happened, she opened her eyes slowly to see Yuri holding onto her arm, his sword in the wall for extra leverage.

"Saving you is becoming a full time job princess," he said with a smile.

She let out a smile as the knights pulled them up.

"Are you okay princess? Anything hurt?" the wolf asked.

"No, I'm fine. Just a little shaken up."

They made it down with no more problems as they saw the temple. It looked small as four white pillars supported the ceiling. Small traces of orange could be seen from the inside. A small lake was below and to the left of it and to the right a small hill leading to the back.

"Let's go. Hopefully there's a way through." Orson said walking up the hill.

The path lead them to the back before twisting to the left inside the temple. They came to a dead end before noticing a ledge to the right and began to climb. Reaching the top, they saw four altars on the other side with a bowl of fire on top producing the glow they saw outside. The temple itself looked ancient as decay on the pillars and wall could be seen.

"I wonder how old this place is?" Jelanda said looking at some writing on the walls.

"Don't know. Maybe the scholars would know something if they could make it here," Orson said.

Yuri looked at one of the walls to see large claw marks slashed into it. He felt it as it went at least an inch and a half deep.

"Wonder what creature made these marks?" Yuri said to himself.

A deep growl was heard all around them as the knights drew their swords.

"What was that?" the wolf said looking around.

"Zeto, scout ahead but be careful." Orson said to the wolf.

"Okay captain."

Zeto walked down the dimly lit hall carefully, his back to the wall. He came to a stop and peeked around the corner to see nothing but darkness. Taking a deep breath, he turned the corner and walked into the darkness.

"Zeto?" Orson said.

There was no response as Orson got worried.

"Zeto?" he said again as he advanced slowly.

There was another deep growl followed by a shrill yelp as Zeto slid back into view. Three huge gashes were cut into his armor as blood came out.

"Zeto!!" Orson said and ran up.

Out of the darkness came a large dog like creature the size of a horse. It was covered in stone all around as its face looked like a mask of ancient Aztec with two small horns protruding from the side. Two blue eyes looked at Zeto before looking at Orson. Its eyes went orange as it took a stance, its front right leg scraping the ground like a bull ready to charge. Three long claws scraped the ground before it charged.

"Look out captain," the rabbit said pushing him out the way.

The dog like colossus rammed into the rabbit at full speed sending him flying into the wall with high impact. The rabbit stood up weakly, body aching all over. He didn't have time to do anything as it rammed into him again full force against the wall, crushing his insides as blood came out his mouth.

"Ramon!!" Orson shouted drawing his sword.

He charged and struck it from behind hearing nothing but a clang as it struck the rock armor. The colossus turned quickly and took a swipe at Orson with its clawed leg knocking his sword out his hand.

"Curse you demon," Orson said, a little shocked at the speed of it.

It charged him as Orson rolled quickly to the right. It spun quickly on its legs, scrapping the ground with its long claws before charging again. Orson turned only to be met with a brick wall like tackle knocking the air out of him as he slid on the ground.

"Orson!!" Jelanda shouted.

The colossus was set to charge agian when something hit its side. It turned its head to see Yuri holding his bow.

"Over here."

It let out a growl before it charged Yuri who took off running. Yuri saw the gap in the path where the four altars holding the pots of fire were. With an extra burst of speed, he jumped and cleared the gap as he landed with a roll. Looking back, he saw the colossus stop and turn around. When it was far enough, it charged again and leapt over his head landing with a crash ahead of him.

"Yuri......" Jelanda said.

"Tend to the others. I'll keep him occupied." Yuri said getting up.

Jelanda hesistated but ran over to Orson who was breathing hard.

"Orson are you okay?" she asked.

"I think.....I might've......broken a rib," he panted out.

Jelanda got up and went to Zeto who was holding his chest, blood coating his armor.

"Jesus, this wound looks bad."

"Its......not to.......deep.......princess. Are.......you......okay?"

"I'm fine, but Ramon........" she trailed off.

"Damn that monster."

*********

Caim ran through the darkness, not knowing where he was going. All around him he heard Jago's laugh.

"I told you I would have the last laugh."

Caim stopped and looked around. A huge image of Jago's face appeared with a smile.

"I will always be better then you. I win Caim."

Jago started laughing before converging on Caim swallowing him. Caim felt himself falling into the darkness, letting out a scream as he woke up. Sweat coming down his face as he panted hard in fear. He heard footsteps as his door opened and guards came in.

"Your majesty, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine." he said wiping his face.

"We heard a scream."

"Just a bad dream. Return to you posts."

"Yes your majesty," they said with a bow and left, closing the door softly.

*********

Yuri rolled again as the colossus charged past him. He got to his feet quickly but was sent back to the ground by a viscious blow to the back as he tumbled on the ground. He regained himself as he avoided a claw descending on him as he rolled to the left, but not before he felt a stingy pain on his left shoulder.

"Damn, I can't find no weak spot on him."

Examining his surroundings quickly, he noticed a small gap between the altars. Wasting no time, he got up and squeezed into one, making sure he was far enough in as the colossus reached for him. He looked up and noticed some ledges above him as he climbed up to the top, avoiding the pot of fire. The colossus turned around and gained some space before ramming it head on making Yuri lose his balance a little.

"The colossus is afraid of fire. Use it to ward it off," that same voice he heard a while ago said.

"How do I do that?" Yuri said angrily.

He scanned the floor again before noticing a piece of wood not to far away. The pillage shook again making Yuri unbalanced as he steadied himself.

"Have to time it right."

The colossus scrapped the ground again, setting itself up for another charge. It started towards the altar when Yuri made his moved. He jumped onto its stone back using its momentium and jumped towards the wood. Grabbing it, he rushed towards another altar and climbed up in time as the colossus struck it. He held it up as it caught fire.

"Now what?" he said before noticing the opening in the wall. "Of course."

Waiting til it struck again, he jumped off and held the torch out in front of him. The colossus coward back like a frightened dog, taking a couple of swipes with its claws. Yuri kept pushing him back until the colossus's hind legs went off the edge as it fell down to the ground below. Not before hitting its back on the cliff breaking its stone covering exposing its hide and another strange symbol.

"Gotcha," Yuri said dropping the torch.

He pulled out his sword and looked down as it laid there unmoving.

"Yuri what are you doing?" Jelanda shouted.

"I'm going to finish him," he shouted back.

Taking a deep breath, he jumped off the edge as Jelanda let out a scream. He angled himself quite good as he landed on the exposed back of the beast. It got up quickly as it started to shake violently back and forth. Yuri grabbed on with both hands as it sprinted across the ground, shaking itself trying to shake him off..

"Damn, can't get a good shot on it."

Feeling an extra burst of stamina, he flipped the sword up and drove it into the colossus back making it squeal in pain as thick black smoke like blood streamed out. His wounded shoulder let out a scream of pain but he held on tightly as he delivered another blow. The colossus ran up the short hill towards the temple into the dead end as it rammed into the wall sending Yuri onto the ledge. His let out a grunt as he landed hard on his wounded shoulder, blood coating his arm. Looking down, he saw the beast circling around the dead end as it trapped itself. With a timed jump, he landed on its back and with both hands, delivered a strong blow.

The colossus let out a squeal before coming to a stop and falling to its side, its body turning black. Yuri managed to get to his knees before those same black tentacles entered his body. Letting out a grunt, he dropped to the ground and was out cold along side the colossus.

*********

A familiar melody filled his ears making Yuri eyes open. He saw that same person again riding a regal white horse bare back as he laid on its back, a flute in his mouth as he played on.

"That's the same song I know. Just who is this guy?"

A blast of water from a geyser startled the horse as the man turned quickly and calmed him down. He surveryed his surroundings. It was a dismal place. The ground was a mixture of grey and red as several geysers sprayed water into the air. The sky was dark as a light fog covered the area making the atmosphere really gloomy.

"Fitting palce for a colossus," the man said.

He noticed a cave in the background as he lead his horse towards it. As he got close, he heard a growl as the colossus stirred from its slumber. It bent its head down as its blue eyes turned orange at the sight of the man.

"You're a big boy huh?"

He gave a couple of soft kicks as the horse took off. Looking back, he saw the colossus emerge from the cave. It was huge as it had the features of a giant turtle. Its face was carved in stone showing only the eyes. The bottom of its chin had small stalagmites hanging from it. It stopped after emerging from the cave, eyes locked on the man.

"Why isn't it following me?"

He got its answer as it lifted it chin. Sparks of yellow lighting started circling the stalagmites as it fired four balls of lighting. The man's eyes widened as it struck the ground around him making the horse panic as it bucked hard throwing him off.

"That's new," he said shaking his head as the ground shook around him.

Looking back, the colossus was near him as it reared up slowly, lifting its two stones leg from the ground.

"Crap," the man said as he got up quickly and ran under the colossus in time as it came down to the ground shaking it violently making him lose his balance.

Getting to his feet, he noticed the fur on the underside of the belly.

"How do I get to that?" he said to himself.

Droplet of water hit his face as he saw the geyser shooting water into the sky.

"Bingo," he said with a smile.

He let out a whistle as his horse came over to him quickly. Mounting fast, he dashed behind the colossus as it turned around slowly.

"Follow the leader big boy."

He took off across the barren land avoiding the balls of lighting it shot at him. He didn't know the timing of the geysers as he lead it around each hole hoping to get lucky. He finally got lucky as a geyser hit the colossus from underneath tipping it to the right.

"Gotcha."

He hurried over as the colossus was balancing on its right front and rear leg while the other two swayed in the air. Getting close, he hopped off noticing a green glow coming from its feet. It looked vunerable as he took out his bow and fired. It let out a squeal as a stone covering covered the delicate flesh. He fired another arrow taking out the other leg as it tumbled hard to the ground on its side.

"All right."

He ran around to its front where the stomach fur was. Grabbing hold, he started to climb up. Reaching the top, he noticed no more fur to climb up.

"What now?"

The colossus regained itself as it got back onto its feet making the man hold on for dear life as it shook violently. Righitng himself, the man climbed up onto its stone covered back and headed for the rear where a narrow path leading to the head was. The colossus looked behind before shaking its body left to right. With nothing to hold onto, the man went to one knee steading himself.

"Can't shake me off that easily."

Once the shaking stopped, he made his way to the head where he drew his sword causing that symbol to appear in a patch of fur. Bending down, he grabbed a handful of fur before driving his sword into the symbol causing a squeal from the colossus along with the black smoke like blood.

"Stop fussing, everybody needs a haircut," he said driving his sword into the symbol again.

The colossus shook its head back and forth making the man sway from side to side.

"Sleep forever," he said driving his sword hard again.

The colossus let out a squeal before it dropped to the ground, its body turning black as those tentacles came from its body. The man jumped to the ground before letting out a grunt as they entered his body as he fell to the ground knocked out.

"Ouch," Zeto yelped as the bandage was pulled a little too tight.

"I'm sorry," Jelanda whined softly.

"Its okay. Just loosen it a little," Zeto said with a smile.

Orson walked over, a couple of branches in his arms as he tossed them into the fire.

"Are you okay Orson?" Jelanda asked.

"I'm fine princess. Just a little trouble breathing is all," he said rubbing his chest.

"How much longer do you think we have?"

"Its a quarter moon," Orson said looking up. "So we have roughly about five to six days."

"We'll make it," Jelanda said handing him a bowl with some food. "Lets rest ourselves tonight so your injuries can heal somewhat."

"Of course princess," they both said.

Jelanda smiled as she filled another bowl and walked over to a nearby tree where Yuri was. His left arm wa bandage from the top of his shoulder to the elbow as he looked at his flute.

"I brought you some food Yuri so you can get your strength back."

Yuri didn't say anything as his eyes were locked on the flute.

"Yuri? Are you okay?"

She knelt down and touched his shoulder making him jump.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't hear you."

"Is there something wrong?"

"I dont know. Everytime those things enter my body, I have this dream."

"What about?"

"I'm still trying to figure it out myself," he said as he took the food and began to eat. "How's the other two."

"Zeto's wounds aren't too deep so he'll recover in time. Orson has a couple of bruised ribs but nothing serious."

"Good," Yuri said with a smile as he finished. "You should get some rest and stay warm, might be cold tonight."

"What about you?"

Yuri reached into his bag and pulled out a blanket.

"I use to sleep under the stars back home so I came prepared."

"Very clever," she said with a chuckle.

She walked back to the fire to see Orson and Zeto fast asleep. Laying down next to the fire, she tried to get some rest but the wind blew cold air making her shiver as the clothes she wore provided little protection unlike the armor Orson and Zeto wore. Another breeze passed making her whine as she stood up and walked over to Yuri who was asleep.

"Yuri? Yuri are you awake?"

Yuri was up quickly, hand on his sword as he looked around.

"Princess what's wrong? Is something out there?"

"No. I just wanted to know if.......I can.........share your blanket?" she said blushing.

Yuri relaxed as he let out a chuckle.

"Sure. Its kind of small but should be enough for two."

She gave a smile a she laid on the grass, her back towards Yuri as he wrapped the blanket around them both. She felt a bit better but the wind still bit her.

"Still cold?" he asked.

"A little."

"Hang on."

He reached over and pulled her close making her gasp lightly as she felt his arm wrap around her waist. She felt warmer as their body heat got trapped in the blanket making her murr softly.

"Better?" he asked.

"Much," she said softly.

They fell asleep fast as Orson opened his eyes slightly and looked at the scene. He gave a slight smile before going back to sleep.

*********

A carriage approached the main gate of the city as the guards posted stopped them.

"Who goes there?" the dragon said.

One of the knights in black and red armor approached as he took off the helmet revealing his fennec face.

"His majesty royal guards bringing Prince Trion for the royal wedding," he said.

"Please forgive our rudeness. Jester, show them to the courtyard. Whitney, inform his majesty at once."

"Yes sir," the other guards said.

Caim had his head on the bed next to Amelia's as his eyes was closed. A knock was heard on the door making his eyes open.

"Enter."

The door opened s a fox walked in and went to one knee.

"Your majesty, Prince Trion is here."

"Prince Trion?" he said gettting up and walking to the window.

Looking out, he saw his knights leading the horse and carriage into the stables as the guards surrounded a small cheetah.

"Dear lord I forgot about the wedding."

"What do you want us to do your majesty?"

"Take the prince into the guest quarters. I'll greet him in a minute."

"Yes your majesty," the fox said leaving the room.

Caim looked out the window again as the knights lead them inside.

"Things couldn't get any worse."

Getting dressed, he headed out his room and into the guest quarters where Trion was.

"Greetings Prince Trion. How nice to see you."

"Likewise King Caim. Is everything set for my wedding?" the cheetah said.

"We have a slight problem."

"And what problem is that?" It isn't going to affect my wedding will it?"

Caim explained the situation as Trion crossed his arms.

"I'm sorry to hear that Caim, but you shouldn't have let my furture wife go like that. Suppose something happens to her?"

"She has Orson along with six of his trusted kinght at her side."

"Ha, Orson's a joke. He can't compare to the Kingdom of Almekcia knights," the fennec said.

Caim's left eyebrow twitched a little in anger.

"I agree with Curtis. For your sake King Caim, she better come back unharmed. Otherwise all trade routes between your kingdom and ours will be done."

"Of course Prince Trion. I understand completely," Caim said trying to contain his anger.

*********

The party pressed on with Yuri leading the way. Jelanda was helping Zeto as Orson caught up with Yuri.

"How are you holding up?" Yuri asked.

"I'll manage for princess's sake."

It was quiet for a minute before Orson spoke up.

"I just want to say thank you for protecting the princess when I couldn't."

"Just doing what is right," Yuri said with a smile.

"I'm also sorry for the way I acted towards you earlier. I was just worried."

"No need to apologize. You were in the right to assume anything."

Orson gave a smile which Yuri returned. They walked a little further til they came to a path with stone pillars leading to a cave. Taking out his sword, Yuri raised it in the air as the beam pointed inside.

"Looks like we're going in."

Walking in, they were met with a shallow lake that went to their chest as they walked to the other side. Squeezing the water out, they walked down the winding tunnel until it opened up to a valley that looked like a city at one point.

"Is this........the Valley of Sorrows?" Jelanda asked.

"Might be," Yuri said.

They walked out the cave onto a large stone platform that looked like it could come down at any minute. Moving carefully, they found a small path to the left along with a stone ladder leading down. Climbing down, they headed inside as they looked in amazement.

"Amazing," Orson said.

Grass covered the entire ground as broken walls were aligned this way and that. Tall stone columns covered in moss were standing tall while a couple were knocked down. Along the ground they saw what appeared to paths in the ground that twisted this way and that. Jelanda looked around until she spotted a small altar with a statue of a large dog sitting there. It looked just the one in the temple expect the mask look bigger and it didn't have horns. Just below the altar on the grass besides it was the blossom.

"Look, there it is," Jelanda said hurrying over.

"Are you sure this is it princess?" Zeto asked looking at it. "I've never seen a flower like it before."

"I'm positive."

Jelanda knelt down and began to carefully pick the flowers, making sure to leave a couple behind as to not make them extinct.

"Great job princess. Lets head back and help her majesty," Orson said.

Yuri watched as they made their way back to where he was. He looked up at the altar as the statue came to life. The colossus shook itself before jumping to the ground.

"Look out!" Yuri shouted as he ran towards them.

They looked back to see it charging towards them at great speed. Orson grabbed Jelanda's hand as they jumped into the walkway in the ground as the colossus ran past them. Yuri stopped in his tracks as it made a beeline for him. He saw a broken column on the ground as he jumped on top of it. The colossus sped by him before halting and turning around.

"Wow, he faster then the other one," Yuri said.

Yuri looked over as he saw Orson waved his hand. Nodding his head, Yuri jumped down and sprinted towards him. He heard the heavy footsteps behind him as he made a baseball slide into the walkway.

"Damn, he's fast," Yuri said out of breath.

"What do we do? We can't outrun it and we're in no shape to fight it," Zeto said.

"Orson, you and Zeto take the princess back with the flower. I'll catch up later."

"We're not leaving without you." Jelanda said.

"You have no choice. Time is of the essence princess."

"But......." Jelanda said sadly, her ears folded back.

Yuri looked at her with a smile before raising his hand and touching her cheek softly making her shiver lightly.

"I will come back princess. But right now, your mom and brother need those flowers. Have faith in me."

Her eyes teared up lightly as she looked at him.

"You promise to come back?"

"You have my word princess."

She nodded her head as Yuri smiled.

"Orson, get her home."

"You got it."

Yuri lifted himself up out the walkway as the colossus was nowhere to be seen.

"Go now, quickly," he said as he hurried onto the fallen column.

He let out a loud whistle that echoed through the air. Footsteps were heard as the colossus ran over and collided with the column making Yuri tumble backwards off it. He managed to get back up before getting runned over. Looking over, he saw Orson helping Jelanda and Zeto up the ladder and to the cave entrance. Jelanda looked back as Yuri gave a thumbs up. With tears in her eyes, she left leaving Yuri alone.

"Now to deal with you," Yuri said looking at the colossus who circled around him.

*********

"That arrogant little snob," Caim growled angrily as he entered his room. "He's just liked his father, only worried about himself."

He took off his clothes and slumped into the chair rubbing his eyes when a knock came from the door.

"What is it?" he growled.

"I've brought you some tea your majesty," Dana said walking in.

"I don't want any."

"But you majesty......"

"I SAID I DON'T WANT ANY."

Dana cringed almost dropping the platter. Caim gasped before looking away and folding his ears.

"I'm sorry Dana."

"No need to apologize your majesty. I can understand what you are going through. But her majesty the queen wouldn't want you hurting your body like this."

Caim let out a sigh before smiling.

"You're right Dana. I'll have a cup. Your tea always calms me down."

"Of course your majesty."

*********

Yuri peeked up from the walkway again as the colossus was nowhere to be seen again.

"He's just like the other one. But this one doesn't look like its weak against fire. So how do I get that stone covering off?"

Then Yuri remembered the crumbling platform at the cave entrance.

"Of course, that'll work. But the question is, how do I get it over there. The entrance I came out of is too small for it."

Yuri looked around til he saw a crumbling stone wall next to a stone column.

"That might work, but how do to get to it?"

Looking around again, he spotted a piece of a column next to an archway. Getting up, he dashed over to it in time as the colossus streaked by. With a timed jump, he grabbed the edge of the archway and pulled himself as the colossus circled under him, striking the pole that held the archway up.

"Now, how to get to that pillar?"

He scanned the surroundings as he noticed two other pillars along with what looked like a bell tower next to the pillar that he needed.

"The domino effect. Well here goes."

Getting his balance, he stood up and made his way on top of the archway to the first column. He noticed little indention halfway up that made a decent ladder. With a deep breath, he took a running jump as he managed to grab a hold.

"Wow, that was close."

With a grunt, he pulled himself up to the top and looked down to see the colossus circling it.

"Need you assistance big boy," Yuri smiled and took his bow from his back.

Fixing an arrow, he fired at the colossus which it didn't like as its eyes turned orange ramming the column. Yuri felt the column tilt hard before bottom gave way as it fell to the ground.

"Now you're using your head." Yuri chuckled.

He repeated the same thing on the next column before coming to the archway next to the tower. He jumped from the archway to the tower and climbed up. Looking to the right, he saw the platform beyond the wall.

"All right, one more."

With another leap, he landed on top of the column. Reaching back, he found his quiver of arrows empty as he let out a curse. Luckily for him, there was a rock on top. Launching it, it hit the colossus which let out a growl as it struck the column, tilting it to the wall.

"Oh boy, this is going to hurt."

The column collasped into the stone wall knocking it down giving the colossus enough room to run. Yuri regained his senses before letting out a yell of pain. Looking down, he saw a long jagged piece of rock stuck in his right leg. Reaching down, he grabbed a hold of it. Gritting his teeth, he pulled it out with a yell as blood flowed out. Grabbing his shirt, he ripped the sleeve off before wrapping it tightly around the wound.

"Damn, of all the rotten luck."

He looked up to see the stone ladder along with a single column holding up the platform. He got up and quickly limped his way over to the ladder as he heard the heavy footsteps behind him. Trying to ignore the pain, he managed to get halfway up the ladder as the colossus struck the wall. With a finally grunt, he pulled himself up as he rolled onto his back out of breath.

"God I need a vacation after this."

Catching his breath, he limped over on the platform and looked down. The colossus was circling around, its eyes locked on Yuri. Picking up another rock, he tossed it as it strucked its head. The colossus let out a growl before turning and ramming the column. Yuri tried to make it off but didn't make it as he fell to the ground. The platform came down on the colossus stunning it as it got covered. It regained itself as it backed up. As it did, the stone covering its back fell off as well as part of its stone face.

"I guess we're both hurting," Yuri said holding his leg as blood seeped out the make shift bandage.

Yuri grunted as he stood up holding the wall for support.

"Now to take care of you. But how to get on top of you?"

He spotted the column that cracked through the wall. Moving carefully and using the rubble for cover, he climbed onto it. He made it to the top as the colossus hit it head on. But with half of its stone armor gone, it was stunned as it laid there.

"Come on leg, don't let me down."

With a grunt of determination, he stood up and with one leg, managed to get enough boost as he landed on the colossus back. It got up slowly before shaking around violently. Pulling out his sword, that symbol appeared as he dove it into its body as it let out a squeal.

"Just like riding a wild horse," Yuri said as he managed to drive his sword into the colossus again.

Fatigue started to kick in along with the loss of blood as his arms started to weaken.

"I made a promise. I must keep it."

With a yell, he used both hands and drove the sword hard into the colossus. It let out a squeal as it slowed down before dropping to the ground on its side. Those black tentacles came from its body into the air before colliding with Yuri's fatigue body as he dropped to the ground.

"Enter," Caim said tiredly as knocking was heard.

Curtis walked in and bowed.

"Prince Trion requests your presense."

"Understood. I'll be right there."

Curtis bowed again before leaving. Caim let out a sigh as he got dressed as headed to the guests quarters. He knocked before entering as Trion was eating.

"I'm growing impatience Caim. She should've been back by now."

"I understand prince Trion. Believe me, I'm worried about my daughter also. But I trust in Orson. He will bring her back."

Trion took a bite of his chicken before cleaning his mouth.

"See that he does. If she's not here by dusk tomorrow, consider our trade routes closed.

Caim's tail twitched in anger but held his composure.

"I understand young prince."

"That is all. You may leave."

Caim nodded his head and left. Closing the door, he balled his fists angrily.

"You little snob."

*********

A crash of lighting made Yuri's eyes open as he looked around. Looking up, he saw the man standing next to a small set of stairs. His skin looked a lot different then the last two times. It wasn't the usually cream color. Instead it was sort of black, like he was rolling around in the dirt.

"Just one more, and I'll get what I wanted," he said to himself.

Taking a deep breath, he walked up the stairs to strong winds and heavy rain. At the edge of the path stood probably the tallest thing Yuri has ever seen. The colossus was huge. It was so big that it couldn't even walk as it stood there. Around the arms were rings that glowed with yellow light. Around the feet was a cloak that appeared to be a miniature structure that had ledges all around it, like it was made for climbing. Lighting flashed in the sky as the colossus looked down at the man.

"Let's do it," the man said as he advanced.

He started to run towards the colossus as it raised its arm. The rings started to shine brightly before it fired a ball of lighting at him full speed. The man couldn't stop in time as it exploded in front of him sending him flying backwards, his ears ringing.

"Damn, another magic user."

He got up to one knee and noticed stone barricades lined up. He saw the rings start to glow again as he dashed towards one just as another ball exploded on the barrier.

"Can't use the direct approach. So how do I get to you?"

He looked around til he noticed a tunnel near him on the right. Peeking around the corner, the colossus's eyes were locked on the barricade he was behind. Counting to three, he made a dash to the tunnel, explosions sending debris everywhere as he slid inside.

"Scenic route works for me."

He hurried through the tunnel as it led to a staircase. Grabbing the edge of the tunnel, he peeked out as the colossus was still deadlocked on him. Looking over, he saw another set of barricades. With a deep breath, he climbed up and made a dash to the barricades. An explosion hit him from behind propelling him forward as his head connected hard with the stone barricade.

"That's going to leave a mark," the man said groggily as a gash opened on his head leaking blood.

Groggily he stood up and noticed another tunnel. Peeking around the corner, he counted again before taking off towards the tunnel as another explosion was heard behind him. Dropping down into the tunnel, he followed it to a ledge overlooking a long drop down. Walking carefully, he walked to the edge and dropped down, holding onto the ledge as he moved hand over hand to the other side. Pulling himself up, he ran into the tunnel to the end. Jumping up, he grabbed the edge as he pulled himself up as he was right underneath the colossus.

"Wow. You're much bigger close up. But the bigger you are, the harder you fall."

He ran under the cloak like structure and grabbed a ledge that was dangling towards the ground and began his climb. The wind and rain was lashing at him hard as he jumped and climbed his way up. Climbing the last ledge up, he stood right at the colossus back. Pulling out his sword, a small glowing spot on the colossus back was seen.

"Looks like I'm still going up."

Jumping up, he grabbed a hold of the white fur of the colossus back and drove his sword into the glowing spot making the colossus groan in pain as it reached around with its left hand. The man waited til it was close enough as he jumped and grabbed the fur around the palm as the colossus brought his hand back around, the man hanging on for dear life. When the hand stopped moving, he made his way to the top of the hand where he saw another glowing spot on its forearm.

"Boy, this is like climbing a moving mountain."

He made his way carefully up the arm, climbing over the glowing rings. The colossus moved his arm making the man lose his balance as he tumbled to the side. He grabbed the fur quickly before he fell a long way down. Looking down, he swallowed hard before climbing back up and to the glowing spot. Flipping his sword, he drove it into the spot as the colossus yelled in pain moving his right arm over. He jumped over onto the right palm as it brought it hand back around, moving it up and down trying to lose the man.

"Stop moving so much, you big dummy," the man said as he drove his sword into the colossus hand making it groan as it stopped moving.

Looking at the head of the colossus, he managed to see the symbol on top of the head through the rain.

"I see you," the man said with a smile before the colossus started moving his hand again trying to shake him off again. "I need to get closer, but how do I do that? It reacts to pain so maybe I can use that to my advantage."

Once the colossus stop moving his hand he stood up quickly. Pulling his bow out, he fired an arrow at the colossus as it hit it right in the left shoulder. The colossus groaned as it brought its right hand to its shoulder. He ran off the hand onto the shoulder before making his way to the back of the neck where a small ledge was. Wiping his face off, he climbed up the back of the neck to the head where the symbol glowed brightly even in the dark sky.

"All right. This is it."

Bending down, he grabbed a hold of the fur around the symbol before driving the sword into it. The colossus growled in pain as it moved its head back and forth.

"I will not be denied."

He continued to drive his sword into the symbol, each strike seemed to cause lighting to clash in the sky. A heavy shake managed to shake the man off as he tumbled forward. He grabbed the top of its mask quickly as the colossus eyes looked at him as he looked back.

"Sorry big guy, you got to die."

He climbed back up with a grunt and crawled over to the symbol. Using both hands, he raised the sword high before delivering a strong blow. The colossus let out yell of pain as it shook slowly. It was so big that it couldn't even fall as it slumped over, the rings on its arms slowly going dim as lighting and thunder were heard in the sky. The black tentacles flowed from the colossus body as the man stood tall. He let out a yell of victory before the tentacles struck his body as he collasped on top of the fallen colossus.

*********

The guards let out a yawn as the evening sun was setting in the horizon.

"Its almost time for shift change," the lizard said strecthing. "Can't wait to get home and be with my kids."

Shadows appreaed in the background as the guards stood ready.

"What do you think? Enemies?" a human said.

"Don't know," the lizard said.

The shadows came closer as Orson, Zeto, and Jelanda came into view.

"Princess!! Captain Orson!!" they both said.

They stopped the horses at the gate as they dismounted.

"How's her majesty and the young prince?" Orson said.

"They are still hanging in there but they grow weaker by the minute. Did you bring the flower?" the lizard asked.

"Of course," Jelanda said bringing out the flower.

"Excellent. Please hurry to the chemist princess."

"Right away. Orson, take Zeto and get him wrapped him right."

"Of course princess."

Jelanda hurried inside quickly to Ceasar's room where he was mixing herbs. He turned around as his eyes widened.

"Princess, you're okay," he said rushing over.

"Of course. Here," she said bringing out the blossom.

"You brought the blossom too. Wow, you sure are the spitting image of the king in everyway. I'll get started on the antidote right now."

Jelanda smiled before leaving the room and heading upstaris to her father's room. The guards heard the footsteps as they stood ready. Their eyes widened as they saw who it was. Jelanda put her finger to her mouth to silence them incase her father was sleeping.

"How's my dad?"

"He hasn't slept in days and barely eats. Maybe seeing you back will help him."

"Thank you."

She knocked on the door as she heard her father's voice. Opening the door, she saw her father by the window looking out. He looked different in her eyes like he lost a lot of weight. He turned his head slowly to the door as his eyes widened.

"Jelanda!!" he shouted happily as he hurried over as they met in a tight hug, tears coming down their eyes of joy. "Are you okay? Did you get the blossom?"

"Yes. I got the blossom and gave it to Ceasar."

"Thank the gods your okay my daughter," Caim said hugging her again. "You must be extremely tired after your big journey. I'll have Dana ready a hot bath and some food. Guards," he said.

The guards came in and went to one knee.

"You called your majesty?"

"Have Dana prepare a bath and some food for Jelanda. I'm going to see the chemist."

"It shall be done my lord," they said leaving.

"There's something I have to do first daddy. Its really important to me."

"Of course Jelanda. Do what you need to. I'm just happy and relieved that you are back."

Jelanda smiled before hurrying to the medic ward where Zeto was getting stitched up and Orson's ribs bandage.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Just fine princess," they both said.

"Orson, I need you do something for me."

"Anything princess."

"I need you to send somebody to get Yuri."

"But princess...."

"Please Orson. I'm worried about him. Please."

Orson looked into her eyes before nodding his head.

"Robert," Orson said.

A lynx walked in and saluted.

"You called captain?"

"Yes. You are more familiar with the land then any knight I have. Do you know where the Valley of Sorrows is?"

"I've heard about it from rumors."

"Good. I need you to go there and retrieve a person named Yuri. He's the one that helped us and the princess get the blossom."

"At once," Robert said with a saltue.

"Thank you Orson," Jelanda said kissing his forehead.

"Get some rest princess," Orson said with a smile.

Jelanda walked out of the ward towards her room where Dana was waiting for her. She smiled before hugging her.

"Its good to see you princess," Dana said.

"Good to see you to Dana. I'm sorry for making you cover for me."

"Its okay. Your father was quite surprised. But enough talk, you must be tired. I have your bath and food waiting for you."

"Jelanda!!" a voice said down the hall.

She turned to see Trion running up to her.

"Jelanda, you're okay."

"Trion? What are you doing here?" Jelanda said confused.

"Have you forgotten? We are to be wed."

Jelanda gasped a little making Trion raise his eyebrow.

"You have forgotten haven't you?"

"I'm sorry. But a lot of stuff has happen in the past few days."

"I understand with your mother and brother being posioned. But with you being back, we can go ahead with the wedding."

"With all due respect Trion, I need some time."

"I'll give you all the time you need my love," Trion said with a bow. "I'm glad to have you back."

"Thank you."

Trion gave another bow before walking away. Jelanda let out a sigh before looking at Dana.

"Can I have that bath now?"

"Of course princess," Dana said with a chuckle.

*********

Yuri let out a grunt as he climbed the narrow cliff. His injuried leg leaking blood with every step he did. A rock gave way making him slip. He grabbed the ledge quickly before falling to the ground below.

"Damn, can't give up now."

He pulled himself up with what reserve energy he had left as he made his way to the top. Looking over, Argo was sleeping by the oasis under the night sky.

"Haha, you always were a sleeper."

He limped over before collasping to the ground.

"So tired. Maybe I'll just......rest a........bit," he sad tiredly as he closed his eyes.

In the background, a lone figure was heading towards him before stopping. The figure got off his horse and hurried over to Yuri which woke Argo up who paniced. The figure managed to somehow calm Argo down before looking at Yuri.

"Is he the one the captain wanted back? I hope so, cause this leg looks very bad."

Robert picked Yuri up and placed him on his horse as he held him from behind. Grabbing Argo's reins, he hurried back towards the castle.

*********

Jelanda looked worried as she looked at the doctor.

"Is he okay?"

"He's very fatigue and lost a lot of blood. I'm surprised he's still alive," the doctor said.

Jelanda reached down and touched Yuri's hand which twitched in reflex. She paniced when Robert brought him in thinking he was dead when he wasn't moving only to find out he was sleeping. She's been by his side every minute she could. Caim walked in as he looked at him.

"Is he the one?" he asked softly.

"Yes daddy. He's the one that's been with me through it all. I owe him everything."

"As do I. Do you know when he's going to wake up?" Caim asked looking at the doctor.

"That I can't say for sure your majesty."

A knock was heard as Trion walked in.

"So, this is where you have been. Why do you hang around this commoner?"

"This "commoner" saved my life," Jelanda said angrily.

"Humph, my knights could've done a better job then a simple commoner. But whatever. Is the wedding all set for tomorrow Caim?"

"Yes prince Trion. The tailors have just finished Jelanda dress."

"Good. Soon my love, we will be together like we are suppose to be. I bid you good night," he said with a bow.

They watched him leave as Jelanda growled.

"I hate him. Do I really have to go through with this daddy?"

"I'm sorry Jelanda, you do. I'm going to check on your mother and brother. You should get some sleep."

"I will daddy."

He kissed her forehead before leaving her alone. She turned her attention back to Yuri was still asleep. Leaning over, she whispered into his ear.

"Thank you for everything Yuri. I don't know what I would've done if I never have met you. Please wake up soon."

She was about to leave when Yuri tightened his hand on hers.

"Thanks for the compliment princess," Yuri said softly.

"YURI!!" Jelanda said hugging him tightly making him grunt in pain as he laughed. "Are you okay?"

"Now that I get to see you again, of course. Told you I would keep my word."

"And I'm glad you did."

Yuri reached up and wiped the tear from her eye.

"Get some sleep Jelanda. You need to be ready for tomorrow."

"Right....." she said sadly as she got up. "Thank you again Yuri."

Yuri gaves a thumbs up making her smile as she left.

*********

"Never before has our kingdom been in darker days then a little while ago. But thanks to this couragous young man, those dark days are over," Caim said as the audience clapped and cheered.

Amelia clapped also along with Jacob, Orson, Zeto, and Jelanda.

"I owe this young man a debt that I don't think I could ever repay."

"Thank you for those kind words your majesty. I am honored," Yuri said on one knee in a bow.

"So it gives me great honor to name you, the royal bodyguard of Princess Jelanda."

Everybody clapped and cheered as Jelanda tail wagged happily as she smiled.

"I thank you for the great opportunity to serve under you, your majesty. But I must humbly decline."

Everybody gasped as Caim and Jelanda looked surprised.

"Why do you decline? Is my offer not good enough for you?"

"Quite the opposite your majesty. But I am a country boy. Being around here will be too much excitement for me. I would miss my friends and family back home." Yuri stated. "Besides, she has the best bodyguards she could ever want in Orson and Zeto."

Caim smiled as he walked down to Yuri who stood up.

"If you ever need anything in the future, please come to me."

"Of course your majesty," Yuri said with a bow.

Yuri walked over and knelt on one knee in front of Amelia.

"Your majesty, I'm glad we were able to cure you in time and to see you well."

"Thank you Yuri. Without your help, things would've been very bad," Amelia said with a smile.

"Are you going to visit us again?" Jacob asked.

"Of course young prince. I'll come by and you can ride on Argo with me."

"Yeah, thanks Yuri," Jacob said hugging him.

Yuri smiled as he turned and walked down the long red carpet to the door, leaving Jelanda in shock. Outside the castle, Argo was brought to him as he hugged his neck.

"Ready to go home boy? I bet you miss mom's cooking?"

"Yuri wait."

Yuri turned to see Orson and Jelanda running up.

"Are you sure you won't reconsider?" Jelanda whined softly.

"Positive princess. City life is not for me. But your welcomed to come see me anytime."

"That won't be possible," Orson said sadly. "Once she weds, she'll be leaving with him to go back to Almekcia."

"I see." Yuri said softly. "Then here, take this."

He reached into his bag and pulled out his flute. He opened her hand and placed it into her palm.

"Yuri I can't take this."

"Take it. I can make another one. Just keep it with you as a token of remembering me."

"I'll never forget you."

"Neither will I princess."

She reached over and hugged him tightly whining softly. Letting go, she watched him mount Argo and turn around. With a finally wave, he galloped into the horizon.

"Mom, I'm home," Yuri shouted.

"Welcome home Yuri," Robin said hugging him. "How was your adventure?"

"Long and tiring," Yuri said limping in and taking a seat.

"Welll let me get you some food and you can tell me all about it."

*********

Jelanda sat in her room wearing her wedding gown. She looked down in her hand at the flute as tears began to fill her eyes. A knock was heard as Dana walked in.

"You looked beautiful princess."

"Dana, am I doing the right thing?" she asked.

"What do you mean princess?"

"I know I'm suppose to do this but deep down, I don't want it."

Dana sat down next to her and rubbed her shoulders.

"Can I give you a little advice that my mom use to tell me?"

"Sure."

"She use to always tell me: follow your heart, for it is always right."

Jelanda let it sink in before she smiled and hugged Dana.

"Thank you Dana."

She got up and started to strip down to Dana's surprise.

"What are you doing?"

"Following my heart like you said."

"But princess, what will I tell his majesty?"

"The same thing you told me," she said getting dressed and heading for the door.

"As you wish princess," Dana said with a smile.

Jelanda hurried down to the stables, being sure to avoid the guards. Reaching it, she grabbed the reins of her horse and walked out.

"Going some where?"

Jelanda let out a yip of surprise as Curtis stood there.

"Just going for a ride to get some fresh air."

"You can't fool me princess. Ever since that commoner left, you've been acting different. So the prince asked me to watch you and see if you would do what he think you would do. And he was right on the money."

"I'm sorry, but he's not the one I want to share my life with. He's too full of himself."

Curtis growled and grabbed her hand.

"Speak with respect when you talk about the prince."

"Let her go Curtis."

Curtis turned to see Orson walking up. He let her go before facing him.

"And what do you want Orson? Come to escort her back to her room?"

"No, I'm here to let her do what she wants to do."

"You do understands the consquences of your actions?"

Orson smiled making Curtis raise his eyebrow.

"I'm doing what I think is right in my eyes. I want the princess to be happy. And if being with Yuri will make her happy, so be it."

"That's treason talk Orson. I'll strike you down now for that."

Curtis went for sword before stopping mid action as Orson had his sword at his neck in the blink of an eye.

"I see you've improved since the last time we met."

"If you weren't guarding a spoil brat all day, you would be better. Princess, get on your horse."

Jelanda nodded as she hopped on.

"Tell Yuri if he ever makes you cry, I'll hunt him down," he said with a smile.

"Thank you Orson," Jelanda said as she rode off.

*********

Yuri looked into the night sky as the stars shone brightly along with the half moon.

"I hope she's happy with her new life. Wish I could tell her how I felt about her."

"Then why don't you?"

Yuri jumped in surprise as he turned to see Jelanda standing there.

"Jelanda!? What are you doing here? I thought you were getting married?"

"He didn't appeal to me, so I left."

"Are you sure that was the right thing to do? What will your father say?"

Jelanda smiled before closing the gap between them.

"I'm doing what Dana told me to do."

"What is that?"

"Following my heart. And my heart wants to be with you."

"But I'm not royalty."

"That doesn't matter to me. You have been everything I could every want in a husband. I don't care if your not royalty Yuri. I love you."

Yuri finally smiled before wrapping his hands around her waist pulling her close as their lips met in a soft kiss. They broke off with a wet smack as he stared into her eyes.

"I love you too Jelanda."

"Prove it," she said with a soft growl.

"As you wish princess. But not here. Let's go some place more comfortable."

He held her hand as they walked into the stable where Argo was sleeping. They walked up a ladder to the next level where a bed of hay was made that had a cover and a pillow. They sat down on it as they resumed their kiss, holding each other close.

"Is this a dream?" Yuri asked softly.

"If it is, I don't want to wake up." Jelanda said.

She reached around slowly and started to undress herself as Yuri watched. She blushed heavily as she took off her shirt covering herself.

"Don't be ashamed. You are truly beautiful," Yuri said taking off his shirt.

Jelanda nodded her head revealing herself to him as he smiled.

"I must correct my words. You are very beautiful."

"Thank you."

He grabbed her hand softly and guided her to the bed as she laid on her back. He leaned down and started to kiss her neck softly making her shiver and whine softly.

"Oh god Yuri."

He went further down to her small but developed breasts as Yuri kissed them softly listening to her gasp in pleasure as her nipples grew hard to his touch. He caught a scent in the air making him smile as he moved his hand down and rubbed her softly making her yip.

"Yu.......Yuri, that feels......so good."

He smiled as he slowly pulled her pants down exposing her full naked body. Her ears folded back as she blushed. Yuri moved his head down close making her shiver as she felt his breath.

"Yuri, what are you doing?"

"Pleasing you my princess. Just relax."

She noddd her head and closed her eyes before letting out a gasp as she felt Yuri's tongue run slowly up her lips. Whines came out her mouth as her breathing increased from the oral assualt. She felt so right doing this as another gasp escaped her muzzle as his tongue penetrated her insides.

"Oh gods," she moaned using her hands to run them through his hair.

Yuri took pleasure hearing her moan as he increased his motions. He pushed as deep as he could feeling her tunnel constrict on him. She let out a louder moan as her first orgasm was quickly approaching. Yuri could sense it as he moved his fingers up and lightly pinched her clit. Shockwaves ran up her spine as she howled into the night sky. Yuri collected what he could as she recovered.

"Did you enjoy that my princess?"

"Very much," she said looking at him with love in her eyes.

Looking down, she noticed the tent in his pants as she reached down and squeezed it making him shiver.

"Yuri, will you make me yours?"

"Are you sure you want this?"

She crawled onto her hands and knees, lifting her tail in the air.

"More then anything in the world."

Yuri nodded his head as he let his pants fall to the floor exposing his raging hard on. He crawled over and positioned himself behind her and slowly entered her. She let out a gasp as she felt the head enter her unused love tunnel. He pushed in slowly until he felt the barrier protecting her pureness.

"Are you ready for this?" he asked softly.

"Yes. Please take me."

He reached down and grabbed her hand before he slowly pushed pass her barrier. She let out a yelp as she squeezed his hand tight, a couple of tears going down her cheek which he kissed away.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Please continue."

He nodded his head before pulling out slowly feeling her muscles tense around him trying to keep his penis inside her before pushing back in making her gasp. Pre started leaking out of him making her tunnel slick as he moved faster inside her. She moaned in pleasure and pushed back against him.

"More, more," Jelanda moaned feeling the pleasure build inside her again.

Yuri grabbed her waist as he went faster, their bodies connecting together with smacks as they moaned in passion. Yuri stopped mid thrust and gently rolled them over as Jelanda was on her back looking up at Yuri with love in her eyes. He returned the look as he placed her legs around his waist as he continued to push into her.

"So beautiful," Yuri panted out as he felt those velvet walls caress his erection making him reach his peak with every thrust.

"Yuri......it feel so good. Don't stop," she moaned wrapping her legs tightly around his waist as she brought her muzzle up locking her lips with his.

Yuri felt her body shiver heavily as her sex started putting heavy pressure on him. He knew she was close to cumming as he pushed deep into her, hitting her in the right ways making her yip in pleasure.

"Jelanda......I'm......I'm going to....."

"Don't hold back Yuri. Let in go in me. Become one with me."

The point of no return washed over them both as he made a finally thrust into her body before hilting her fully as he came hard. Jelanda let out another howl as she held Yuri close feeling him fill her as her second orgasm ripped through her body. He collapsed beside her as they both were breathing hard.

"That was wonderful Yuri. Thank you."

"I should be thanking you princess."

"Oh yeah, I brought something for you," she said reaching into her pants pocket and pulling out the flute. "I believe this belongs to you."

"I thought I gave that to you?"

"It sounds better coming from you. Think you could play for me?"

"It would be my pleasure."
