Hey guys, this is a new story that I want to turn into a series novel. Here is the first paragraph, just the intro. Let me know if it looks interesting!
I opened my eyes to my new life on this planet called Earth. They sent me here, for what I couldn't remember. I couldn't remember much about why or how, or even if I was the only one. All I knew, is that humanity was in danger and they thought I could help. You see, I'm a seraph, or what you would call an angel. I have the ability to blend in with humans, so no one knew who I really was, and until the time was right, I intended to keep it that way. Almost immediately I had a feeling like something was missing, a compulsion to search, though I didn't know what I was searching for. I noticed that they took my wings, it seemed they wanted me to earn them back. When I looked around me, all I saw were trees, I was in a clearing of some kind. I tightened my sword belt and started moving. Sorry, maybe I should tell you about me a bit. My name is Ariya Ignes. I was a warrior, I wielded a hand and a half sword, one that it still carried. I also had my armor, silver colored plate with gold wings on the chest and gold leafing around the edges. My greaves were silver with gold knotwork as were my bracers. I could feel that they left me my strength, which is more than the average human. So I wandered, for many suns, from one village to another.
