The Dark Room

This is porbably the shortest story I have ever (and will ever) write. The idea was something that evolved from a question I asked my mate, "What would you do, if you awoke in a dark room?" Maybe if enough people beg me (insert evil laugh) I will continue...

"The Dark Room"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You awaken in darkness. Suddenly you panic, "Am I blind?" you worry. Blinking a few times you find that there is something soft covering your eyes. Letting out a large breath, you find it covers your whole face. Quizzically you try to open your mouth and find that you cannot move your head more than a few centimeters. Panic threatens to set it again. "Enough, there has to be an explanation. Remember, start at the bottom and work your way up." You try to convince yourself that there is nothing to fear.
In the darkness, the pressing black void of space or time, you start to wiggle your toes, finding that they are wrapped in something slick. Unsure if it is rubber or spandex being they can only move enough to know you cannot walk. Next you try and lift or move your whole leg. It doesn't budge. Thinking carefully, you know that because you can move your toes, you are not paralyzed, but simply restricted. Next are fingers, carefully moving each in turn and counting to make sure you have all ten. You can move your fingers individually, and can make a fist, but there seems to be a large globe like glove wrapped around your whole hand and upper arm. It is made of the same material that is wrapped around your toes.
"Wait, where am I?" You know you are restrained, unable to move in any direction. Of course, being blinded, you see nothing but darkness. Straining to hear anything as a sign of where you may be, you hear a clinking sound coming from.... Above you. "Above me?" You start to struggle relentlessly, the clinking turning into a jingling of metal. Fruitless efforts on your part as you only manage to start swinging your bound body. A slow rocking sensation overcomes you. Your stomach flipping as you swing back and forth, or is it right to left? You don't know; you only know the darkness and the sensation of lying flat and swinging in some unknown direction.
Panic sets in again, "How did I get here? What am I doing here? Who put me here?" The last question sparks debate in your mind. "Why ask who?" You are brought abruptly from your thoughts as you hear a soft clack against a hard surfaced floor. Unable to detect the direction, you listen as it gets closer and closer. Suddenly, a voice breaks through the darkness.
Welcome, to the Dark Room
It sounds feminine, but that's the least of your worries.
