Revisions

Hey everyone, it's Huntermun again. I'm hoping that putting up this file as a 'story' doesn't upset anyone. I just could not find a better way to put this up onto SoFurry where you all could see it and such without uploading it as a story. It is my intention to upload this one time (which'll put it on the front page, sadly) and then I'll simply Minor Update it from here on out.

The idea of the following Patch Notes is that I'm not one to leave errors in my story or everything set in stone. I mostly consider a story to be 'in progress' until it is all the way done. Even then, I'll often make corrections a little bit at a time for a month or two after that final release (which has rarely happened thus far).

In the case of Pokémon: Phazon Purple , I'm writing up my edits as "Patch Notes" like you might have in a video game. I figure this is keeping in the spirit of the source material and will also allow you (and me) to easily reference what's changed when I actually do put up a Major Edit (like today with Chapter One) and see if it is worth you time to re-read or not.

As a minor clarification: It is not my intention to ever change the main content of my story, so if you have read it once you should be good to go (not that you shouldn't reread it if you want to). Some of what I alter you may consider to be major, but most of it I personally do not. For example, this current update I altered Riley's last name and made her main color orange instead of green. Why? Because originally her story was going to be Pokémon: Toxic , Acid , or Acidic Green or something like that.

See, Green is the contrast to Purple, but I realized that was a little silly since Riley and Dakota will (hopefully) be having cooperative stories, not competitive stories. Also, Pokémon has already done Green before, so there was that. Naroge (anagram to Orange, like Rupple is an anagram to Purple) will hopefully begin starring in Pokémon: Infernal Orange if I can stop getting distracted with how much I like Dakota and Lucia's story so far.

And one final thought: I really do appreciate any and all feedback to my story and chapters overall. If you have comments upon the events of a particular chapter, I would prefer you do it there. However, this file also exists for you to comment on the story as a whole, and I implore you to do so. I know very well about not letting too many cooks spoil the dinner (or however that saying goes), but I really would like to get as much fan feedback as I can get. I'm even looking to include a few Cameos where I can if you'd be interested (though I wont be forcing them into the story).

1. Chapter One

• Minor Spelling Errors fixed.
• Improved Lucia's speaking parts and clarified final scene interactions.

  - Version 2.0

• Minor Direction Errors fixed (north, south, east, west, etc.)
• Modified the Preface to include non-Pokémon fans.
• Corrected Pokéball to Poké Ball, as it should be.
• Changed Riley's Last Name to reflect her eventual co-story.
• Altered Riley's Outfit to better match her new last name and color.
• Removed the move "Taunt" from the fight between Lucia and Xiphose since a Lucario cannot learn it, even through breeding. Oops.
