Ragnarok
#2 of Life of a Human Commando
Well everything went downhill after the squads split up. On the way to our designated area, only Sae, Chief, and myself survived. Aslo we lost contact with the other squad. And the monster zombie things were startign to get bigger. We arrived at the command center soon enough.
"Sae, access the main terminal. Maybe it can tell us what the hell happened here." said chief.
"Ok."
"M-car, you and I have to keep the fuckin zombies off his back."
"Alright chief."
Sae walked over to the terminal and turned in on, but no sooner one very ugly and ferial creautre lunged at me, I shot it with the spas-12, which no ran out of ammo, and green blood went all over my white armor.
"You son of a bitch! I washed this this morning!" Now I was mad. I looked around the room and saw a pipe system on the wall. I grabbed one and tore it out, now glad I had super strength, and smashed a alrger zombie into the ground. Chief seemed to be doing well too, blasting plenty of zombies coming at Sae.
"Sae! You'd better tell me you're clsoe to turning on the terminal1"
"Almost!!"
"Damn all!!"
I looekd around and noticed the zombies were only coming out of one door. A particular door with a big lock. I ran up to the door, hurling the pipe into a few creature's skulls, and closed the heavy reinforced doors. Slicing straigth through the head of a zombie sending green blood now all over my helmet.
"Double Damn All!!"
"Ok I am in!" yelled Sae with happy accomplish ment.
"Hmm.. Ok, Here's the logs and information."
On the terminal screen, a scientist appeared to be making a log.
"Day 27, Doctor Ludvig Octavious log. We have observed species 54, otherwise known as a drone for the Hive. We have decided that no exposure to them should be tolerated... what?" sirens began to go off in the screen. "What have you done!!" One of the creatures jumped onto the scientist and the screen died into static.
"Oh boy. Area 51 all over again."
"Well, apparently the drones are very dangerous, but the information seems good. We need to get this back to hq. malcar download the files into your hud. "
I acknowledged and downloaded a lot of gegabytes of info.
Chief beckoned to the door. "Now lets get the hell out of here.
Sae spoke up. "i've got a better idea. Lets head for the vehicle area. We may escape through there. We could 'borrow' one of the air vehicles.
So we all began going that way.

Lightyears away on a giant battle ship, a general of years of expirence sighed as he looked onto Earth. The planet was surely doomed now that the Hive was there. No toher civilization ever did, so why should they? One of his officers walked toward him.
"Problem sir?"
"Yes, it is saddening that another planet falls to the hive. We must prepare to destroy the worm hole before they find it."
"Yes sir."

We turned a corner, and saw the biggest droen we had seen. It was at least the size of the tank, and was butt ugly. We all began to shoot at it, but then I saw it also had two huge arms that were massive, which almsot crushed me as it brought them down onto Chief, with a giant splat of blood going everywhere, this time human.
"Ah shit."
"Malcar this way!" Sae beckoned to another door whic we both jumped through, and feel through a alrge shute and landed with a thud.
"Ow. Man this armor can be useful and annyoing."
"Who there?!"
We looked up at the sound of a human voice and saw a man. He was wearing a jacket, and looked very familiar.
"Doctor Octavious?"
At the mention of his name, the man jumped in surprise.
"You know me?"
"Yeah, we saw your log before the drone got you."
"Well I am glad that i had a gun on me."
"Look we got to get out of here."
"No!" Octavious hsook his head, "We can't. The Hive have spread all over the southern hemisphere. they are taking over the world as we speak."
Sae sighed. "We're screwed then."
"No not really. There is one way we could escape. Follow me."
He led both sae and me down a drone free tunnel, apparently they hadent found it yet, and led us to some huge room with weird thing covered by a tarp.
'What is that?"
"That my fellow survivor is a Tran's Wormhole traveler. The US, after contacting an alien rce besides our own.."
"Wait, you mean we have been in contact with aliens before?!" Sae asked incredulously.
"Yes. The UN, US, and all other organizations met a representative and planned to connect our two good societies. We would have todl the public before we used it and so they could use it too."
"So you're plan is to use it and escape to this alien world?"
"Percisely."
"Well, any fucking palce than this is ok for me, warm it up!"
The doctor looked nervous. "We..uhh... havent really tested it and the wormhoel is still under contruction."
"You mean it won't work!?"
"Oh it will work and get you to the alien home world, but you may generate in a palce that is not the designated palce. You may wind up in space or the planet's core even."
Sae and I gulped. Our armor could protect us from most elements but not a planet core.
"But what choices do we have?"
The doctor sighed. "Lets turn it on." The doctor walked to a terminal and turned it on, after removing the tarp, and the machine turned ot life. What the machine looked like was a giant gate, and when the terminal turned it on, it opened and a blue wormhole appeared.
"So, who first?" asked the doctor.
Suddenly a large banging sound came fro mthe end of the hall wway and the docotr pailed.
"They're here!!"
I grabbed my P-gun and set it to vaproize.
"You two go first, I will hold them off!"
Sae looked ready to protest, and I shoved him into the wormhole.
"You next doctor."
He jsut jumped straigth into the hole, with a ferile drone running extremly fast on his tail. I shot i through the head and thought.
"What if they follow us?"
I took a timed gernade from a puch on my armor and set it for ten seconds. I clicked the activator and jumped into the wormhole, hearign the massive explosion behind me. Not expecting what would be to happen next.
