Hi! So here's part 2 of Love Ensemble. Hope you enjoy. Again, feel free to leave comments and criticism at the bottom. Tell me if there's something I need to improve on.

Forewarning: This story contains romantic and sexual interaction between two males. If this bothers you, feel free to leave the page. No one's making you stay after all :P

After the incident in the hallway, the entire class period couldn't have been described as anything less than awkward. At least through Blake's point of view. He couldn't pay attention at all in the class. Instead he kept coming up with the worst possible situations between him and Jordan.

"What if he knows now? What if he makes fun of me? Or never talks to me again. I probably deserve it. Is he looking at me? What is he thinking about?"

The fox shot a sidewards glance at the wolf in the desk right over from him. He planned on only looking for a second, but instead got lost. Everything about the way Jordan looked was perfect to him; tall, strong and muscular chest and arms, beautiful blue eyes and the whitest smile imaginable, and even a firm and round ass to boot. On top of all that he was nice, outgoing, selfless, and intelligent. Could he have been any more perfect?

"A guy like him would never like a guy like me...", he sadly thought before turning his attention back to the front of the class. He rest his head in a paw, starting to doze off. He was still very tired. Within a few minutes, he fell asleep and missed the entire lesson.

"Blake! Hey, wake up."

"Huh, what?!", Blake shouted as he was suddenly pulled out of his rest.

"Class is over, man," said Jordan as he was packing up some of his things.

"Crap, I missed the whole class?" The fox took a look around, seeing his fellow students either putting things away or walking out the door to their next class. The teacher was next to his projector, preparing things for the next group.

"Yeah. Nothing too important though. Just some things that'll likely be on our first test." The wolf snickered a little.

"I'll figure it out. I've never failed math, it's my best subject." Blake suddenly started to pack his things up quickly. He was proud of himself for conversating with Jordan, but he knew that if it lasted too long something would go wrong.

"So uh, I want to ask you something, Blake...", Jordan said quietly.

Blake then stopped and stared at Jordan for a while. He wasn't sure if he heard the wolf correctly. "Did he say he wanted to ask me something? Is he gonna ask me out?! Oh my god, I can't believe it! Or wait... maybe he just wants to ask something about math or music. Or is he gonna tell me off? He knows I like him, doesn't he? I knew I messed up. Damn it to hell!"

"Blake, are you okay?"

"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Uh listen, I gotta go. My next class is across campus and I don't wanna be late. But I'll see you in Wind Ensemble. Sorry." He quickly gathered his things and walked out.

"Oh uh... okay," Jordan barely responded before the red fox was out the door.

Blake felt bad as he walked down the hallway. He had lied; his next class is just down the next hallway. He could've walked slowly, get a few things out of his locker, use the restroom, and walk to the cafeteria and back, and still make it in time. But he was so scared about Jordan's question all he could think of was just getting out of there as fast as possible. So what if he lied? At least he was polite. Does that make it better? The fox sighed and continued walking, not even taking a look back. He hugged his notebook like a stuffed animal, attempting to find some comfort.

Back in the classroom, Jordan sighed as he finally finished packing. "Does he not get that I like him?", he said aloud to himself.

"Better get going, Mr. Rull. Don't be late to your next class," said the teacher.

"Yes, sir."

Blake's next class was Chemistry, which he had with both Josh and Caitlin. The three of them somehow managed to be lab table partners even though most of the time all they did was chat amongst themselves. It was surprising that they haven't been moved apart yet. Today was a little different though. The brother and sister had noticed that their fox companion was just a little too quiet today. Blake only looked down at a piece of paper, drawing random doodles. Caitlin was the first to speak on it.

"Blake, are you alright?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine."

"Dude, you're drawing things. You don't even know how to draw," she commented.

"I'm fine. I just have a lot on my mind is all..."

"Ah, I know what this is about," Josh stated.

"What?" Caitlin asked.

"Don't act like you don't know. Besides, it's completely obvious."

"Shut up, Josh!" Blake said. "She doesn't have to know I like Jordan!"

"Oh my gosh, you like Jordan? The one in my section? Oh my gosh, that's so cute!" Caitlin cried out gleefully.

Blake's cheeks turned red. He sat there quietly and looked down again.

"Caitlin, calm down. No need to tell the entire world," Josh said.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry. It's just oh my god, you two would be so cute together! It would be the best thing ever."

Caitlin was such a little giddy schoolgirl about the situation. But she wasn't wrong. Blake and Jordan would be a fantastic couple; at least that's what Blake imagined. He saw himself being happy in the wolf's strong arms, safe from harm. Jordan would be there to comfort him on bad days or help him in dealing with what life threw at them. They would find strength through each other and overcome any obstacle. The only problem is they both don't know that they like each other.

Caitlin was still babbling when Blake was finally done daydreaming.

"And you're gonna have a house with a big backyard and watch your five little wolfox babies run around and have fun all day!"

"Whoa, what?" Blake asked.

"Woden! Domski! If you three seem so eager to talk, why don't you come up here and teach today's lesson, hmm?" Their teacher, Miss Tiera, looked quite annoyed.

The three looked at each other and smirked, standing up and walking forward to take the teacher's place. They taught the class a lesson about elements combining electrons perfectly, giving the class a good laugh and making the teacher look stupid.

The dismissal bell rang. "Alright, class. Make sure you read pages 57-65 in the textbook. There will be a quiz tomorrow," Josh joked, getting a laugh from the class again as they all packed up. The three of them went back to their table and gathered their things, then left the classroom after waving goodbye to the teacher.

"Well that was fun," Caitlin mused.

"Yeah, we sure made Miss Tiera look like a fool," Josh laughed.

Blake was quiet again.

"Oh cmon, Blake, are you still upset?"

"Yes. Wind Ensemble is our next class..."

"Oh right..."

The three of them got to the band room and grabbed their horns from the instrument lockers, making their separate ways to their sections. Caitlin just so happened to sit next to Jordan, probably intentionally. Blake and Josh were on the other side of the room. The fox look worried as he noticed the lioness and wolf sitting next to each other and talking. Josh leaned up to talk.

"Don't worry, dude. Caitlin's not gonna tell him."

"She better not..."

Mr. B got to the podium and started making some announcements. Before too long the band was rehearsing for the Prism Concert. Marche Militaire Francaise, After the Thunderer, and Gallimaufry. All challenging songs for the beginning of the year, but Mr. B loved to push limits more than anything. The rehearsal was going well and everything was sounding pretty good, except for Blake who kept starting late every time the whole band started playing. He was distracted. Every time there was a pause, he'd look over and see Caitlin and Jordan talking. What were they talking about? It was killing him not knowing.

"Blake. Blake."

"Huh?"

"Start at measure 21. Just saxes. Ready?" Mr. B asked.

The 5 of them played their parts. There was one note that Blake messed up on every time, so they had to repeat it again and again. Jesse, the other alto sax, kept growling a bit at the red fox since he kept messing up. She knew how to play the part, as did the other saxes for their respective parts. It was only 8 measures, but he couldn't get it right. He faked it on the last run and Mr. B moved on. The fox heard Josh behind him and turned. The orca looked confused and annoyed.

"Dude, what's wrong with you? You never have a hard time playing a part."

Blake didn't even respond. He was embarassed. He's just glad Mr. B didn't call him out on the spot. He might've just died.

The class seemed to take forever. Normally, Blake didn't mind when that happened. He loved this class because it was easy and fun for him. But today he just wasn't having any fun. He was mad at himself for not being able to play his music. He was annoyed at Caitlin for constantly talking to Jordan. He just wanted this day to be over. When Mr. B dismissed the band, Blake was immediately called over.

"Are you alright, Blake? You've never struggled with any songs before. I made you my first chair alto for a reason, you know."

"I know, Mr. B. I'm just... not really in the best mood today."

"Is it something you need to talk about?"

"No. I think it's best if I just ignore it..."

"It's about Jordan, isn't it?"

"Jeez, does -everyone- know?" Blake thought as he sighed and looked down a little.

"Hey, I get it, Blake. I used to be a teenager too, you know. I'm here if you wanna talk it out. Just don't let this effect your playing too much, cuz I'm not afraid to give your part to someone else."

"Sure thing, Mr. B. Thanks."

Blake put his sax away and grabbed his bag for lunch. His stomach growled really loudly and it suddenly hit him that he was starving. Out of the corner of his eye as he walked out of the locker room, he s aw Caitlin and Jordan talking once again. He growled a little bit and clenched his fist. The lioness was really starting to annoy him. But he decided to shrug it off and head out to the hallway where the rest of his friends were.

"Blake, wait up!" he heard someone call out.

The fox turned and, just as he feared, it was Jordan rushing up to him.

"Do you have a moment?"

"Sure," he said. There was really no escape from this one. "What's up."

"Caitlin and I were talking, and... there's something I'd really like to ask you..."

Sorry about cliffhangers, but I had to. It seems like things are starting to heat up. What's Jordan gonna say? What will Blake do? Who knows? You'll just have to wait and see.
