Greg's epic life
Years ago my co-workers and started a project to help fight the war on terror.The project was to make supersoldiers capible of winning us the war on terror.We have done a lot of animal testing on this project i'm not too proud of. I'm not talking mice i'm talking larger animals .Now many eco-warriors heard of our animal testing but they did not know that it was to help the country.We worked behind numberous corparations while they took the blame while we worked on the project. October 5th 2009 "Wake up Greg it's time for work"Mom yells.Lazily I stand up and glance around and I see the time 8:05."Crap i'm going to be late if I don't hurry".I hurry and get dressed for work as I run out the door.The car ride was uneventful as I pull up to my spot, a truck hits my car.
October 6th 2009 I wake up to find I can't move, out of the corner of my eye I see my friend Tim, talking to the doctor.I overhear that I'm most likely going to die as both my lungs are punctured and that i'm lucky to be alive."Boy I sure feel lucky" I thought, as Tim walks into the room.Tim says "how would you like another chance at life".I say "Tim I know what your thinking but it's never been tested on a human before are you sure it will work"."You didn't anwser my question Greg"Tim says with a smile.Yes I would like a second chance but how are you going to get me out of the hospital"I ask."You were never in the hospital you are in the lab at Base Alpha"He said while wheeling me away.Tim stops dead in his tracks and says" you know why its called alpha right".I rasp and say "no I don't".Tim smiles and says "because they experimented with wolves".We arrived to large room with hundreds of scienctist who waited for my arrivial. A few prepare a wierd tube thing that looks almost alien-like.What looks like the head scienctist walks over to me and Tim.The sciencist explains the plan he says once I enter the tube I'll be on my own when it comes to breathing.He also says they need another test subject one who is totally healthly.Tim says "I'll do it".Total shock fills my face when he says that but also joy as I won't have to do this alone.We both prep for the experiment and are forced to strip down to our boxers to avoid corrupting the experiment.Tim has black hair and a scar across his chest from being mugged by a group of thugs.He was lucky to escape from them but he doesn't like talk about it as his family was killed when he got home which is why he joined the project to prevent future deaths and make the cities safer.They rush me inside they tubes my vision starts to fade a little but it hasn't even started yet and i'm not ready to give up.I overhear two scienctist say "Alpha-1s vitals are dropping we should postpone".I yell "start the freaking thing"."Are you sure"I hear a voice cry out.I yell "yes" as my breathing becomes hard and heavy.As soon as I said that a wierd green gas floods the tube.Then my whole body aches of pain and my legs start to give in as I fall to the ground and my vision fades to black.The last thing I hear is Tim saying" Greg noo".
October 8th 2009 I open my eyes to see a white fur all over my body I reach out to feel it, I yelp.I wondered why that was until a scienctist walks in.The scienctist says "you been out for the last two days and the experiment worked and that I could get up in a few hours when the pain goes away".I hear a voice that Iv'e heard before the voice asks a scienctist" if i'll be fine".The scientist says "calm down wolf-boy" and that he doesn't know.Just then Tim walks into the room as the scienctist is explaining what they did.Tim pushes the scienctist out of the way to ask me if i'm okay.I look at him and he's gray wolf person he still has his scar with no fur grown there.He asks the scienctist if he could have a minute alone with me.The scienctist says while he's leaving that the experiment will make me very emotional.Tim closes the door and puts his muzzel to my face and starts to cry and says "I was so worried you didn't wake up for two days and you almost died in the tube a few different times"I manage to choke out well i'm here now aren't I".Tim laughs and says " yeah true but you still almost died and why are you a white wolf and i'm grey"?A different scienctist walks in and says "your a white wolf because your dna mixed with that of an alpha wolf".I ask "sir why am I the alpha and not him"?He says "please call me Zach and I can't answer that question because I don't know the answer".Zach says" I'm the head reseacher of the project at base Alpha and I will help you two train to use your powers".Tim gets exicited and starts wagging his tail and says "we get freaking superpowers"?Zach chuckles and says "well you could call them that but as you two know their more abillities then anything else".I cry out in pain as a sharp pain goes through my head and a soundwave bursts out and flings Zach and Tim across the room as I faint.
October 9th 2009 I wake up to see Zach and Tim by my side on the hospital bed.I see Tim has a sort of heavy metal armor with black spikes on it and a short dagger made of a green metal and steel melted together.Tim and Zach jump to their feet when they see iv'e woken up.Tim asks If okay and what happened.But before I could answer Zach says "his power is the abillity to make soundwaves and things of that nature"Tim says "does he have the power to move stuff with his mind".Zach says "maybe but we won't know for sure till tommorow when he starts his training".Zach says that I could move to my bunk with Tim and could leave the hospital wing of the lab.As I stand up to walk get out my bed I stand up without a problem but I look down at my feet to see there more like paws then feet now but i'm not compaining.I walk beside Tim and ask "what is power is".Tim says that his power is called metal-morphing."Whats that" I ask.Tim responds with "it allows me change the shape of any metal with my hands watch and i'll show you when we get to our room".I say "okay".When we get to our room it's 10:30 but I can see as well as in the day time and I ask Tim why that is.Tim says "because we have wolf dna running though our veins and this is how wolves see in the nighttime".I say "they see this well in the dark"? "Yup"Tim says as theres a knock on the door.I open the door and see Zach and he "says be sure to get a goodnights sleep for tommorows training".Me and Tim say "okay we will".As soon as the door shuts Tim pulls out his dagger and drops it on the ground and says "watch this".I say "famous last words of Tim Morris".He responds with a middle finger to me.He starts to touch the metal and starts to close his eyes and the metal forms a green and black steel short sword.Tim says "pretty cool huh". "Yup can't wait to learn my superpower is"as I close my eyes and go to sleep.
Decemeber 9th 2009 Me and Tim have been training for two whole months with our mentor Zach who seems to be a nice guy but he has been saying we can leave the lab soon and walk the streets as there are many other "hybrids" (what we are called) but being the first two hybrids made we get to stay here in the states to aid where needed.There are many different types of hybrids like lizards,foxes,dogs,lions,and of course wolves which there are few of because they are elite troops which all stay in the states or until needed elsewhere.They but us hybrids into groups of three called packs mostly the wolves were put into different groups but in my group in which i'm leader they put me,Tim,and a female wolf named Lisa who uses the cold to freeze her ememies to death.They said the three of us will make a good team together.We all three started training together about a month ago before that we trained separate from each other.We learned many things about our powers like their weaknesses and things our powers had little to none chances againist but most of all we learned limits. Decemeber 15th 2009 I'm so exicited we get to go outside today the goverment finally stated to the press what those days spent animal testing was being done for.Many people are mad about our goverment making supersoldiers without telling the taxpayers.Me and Tim got to be on tv to state our existance to the world Lisa also tagged along with us,but what I saw next was a big shocker to us all.Tim was shaking the president's hand when two red dots appeared on their heads.Lisa also saw this and we pushed Tim and the president out of the way not knowing Zach was right behind them.I heard a loud bang and I turned around to see Zach was shot in the gut.I sceamed to Zach to "keep calm and we will fix this".I told Lisa to freeze him so he won't bleed out.Lisa said "Greg that's crazy".I yelled "just do it Lisa it's his only chance".Finally she agreed and froze him.I told her to take him to the lab.She nodded and ran off."Tim we need to follow the snipers and catch them alive".We stormed after the snipers until it got dark and we heard a loud bark and a roar.I said "their still here somewhere and were going to find them".I heard several cans fall over behind us and I turned around and saw nothing.When I turned back around I saw Tim on the ground with two hybrid foxes pointing guns at him.I heard a loud chuckle coming from behind me I glanced over my shoulder to see a large lion hybrid with a shotgun pointed right at me.I put my hands in the air and said "don't you guys have powers".The lion responded with a pistol whip to my temple.
December 16th 2009 I woke up to see Tim bleeding from his muzzel with blood all over his fur.I saw the lion bent over a firepit and Tim's sword and armor on a table as well as my armor on the same table they knew Tim could change metals form as he is in plastic chair and i'm in a metal chair with my hands tied behind the chair.The lion turns around and looks at me and says "where is Lisa Fisher".I remain quiet,he gets angry and stabs the table with Tim' sword.Tim says "who are you"as he coughs up blood.The lion says "I'm part of a group known as Downfall we aim to eliminate the US at any cost and unite the world after the US is gone".I say "your a monster".He charges me with Tim's sword but then the door opens then a gun fires at him and he falls dead on the ground near my feet.Two hybrids walk into the room, one is Lisa and the other one doesn't look familiar.He runs over and unties me and says "I know you don't think you know me but I'm Zach"."I say they turned you into a red fox hybrid".Zach says "Yup now i'm going to join this squad because you guys saved me and i'm forever in your dept but not you Greg because I just saved your life".Tim says "did you forget something"still tied up.We put back on our armor and Tim asks "Zach whats you superpower".Zach says"regenaration and healing others so i'm a medic".But suddenly two hybrid guards walk in guns ablaze."Get down"Tim yells as I fling their bullets back at them.A bullet scraps my arm and takes some fur,I yelp and take cover behind my teams makeshift barricade.Lisa and Zach fire their pistols at the hybrids. Zach's shot hits one in the head and Lisa's shot hits the other one in the leg.I run over to our fallen enemies to see one is still alive and wounded.I say "Who runs Downfall".He says "I rather die" and grinds his back teeth together and bites down on his fake front tooth and dies.I say "well we just lost our only lead we better head back to the lab".They all nod as we head back to they lab.When we get back I lay down in my bed and look at my arm and see it's badly bleeding so I head to Zach.Zach says"wow that looks bad i assume you want me to look into that".I nod as Zach heads over to his medical supplies.Zach says "Tim had pretty bad wounds to his face what were they doing to you guys"?I respond with"I don't know what they did to him because I was out cold".Zach nods and tells me "there all better wanna a lolipop".I say" do I look five to you"?He chuckles and says "no but you act it at times".I walk out of his room to run into Lisa.She says "Greg, Zach would have died today if not for your actions and I thank you for saving him"as she gives me a shy kiss on muzzle and runs away.In shock I turn around and walk back to my room and tell Tim what happened.Tim says "she kissed you, I kinda thought she liked you ".I say "true I kinda like her back so I don't see why not".I interupt Tim and ask "what exactly happened the night you got that scar"?Tim sighs and says"Me and my family went out to see a movie so my wife and daughter went shopping after and I said i'd meet them home I went into an alley and two guys jumped me and the wanted my wallet and wedding ring I said no and they pulled out knives snd cut my chest I disarmed them and knocked them out and ran home I called my family they didn't answer but when I got home I found the door open and they were laying on they floor and that day on I vowed i'd make the city safer".I say "Wow what a story Tim and i'm sorry".He says "it's not your fault they died".Soon we both fall asleep.
Decemeber 20th 2009 Me and Lisa have been dating for a few days now and I want to get her a present for christmas so I went shopping with Tim and Zach while Lisa stayed at the lab.We started to walk to the jewelery store when suddenly a figure appears behind us.The figure is a human with a open can of red paint,he runs over to Tim and pours the paint on him.Tim is covered in red paint and asks the man why he did that.The man responds with "you are a walking abomanation"while he runs off.Tim says "i'm going back to the lab to get this paint out of my fur".Me and Zach tell him bye and to have a fun time cleaning his fur.We arrive at the jewelery store and greeted by a nice man at the front of the store.See two workers talking and looking at us.As soon we walk into the store the owner rushes out of the back and yells "get out of store you flithy animals".I say in defense "you have no right to say that to us were still people".He says "wait a minute i'm seen you somewhere".I say "maybe it was on the tv"while me and Zach are walking out.Out of nowhere a man with a gun walks in the store pointing at me and Zach to get on the ground.Zach instantly gets on the ground,the armed man says"be a nice pup and get on the ground".Angry at the way the day turned out I take a step closer to the armed man.The man stands there and snaps"stay back mutt or i'll blow your brains in".Zach and the others say I need to sit down and listen to him.I yell"Nooo"as I fling the armed man arcross the room and he hits a stone wall.I run over to him to see he's injuried and I snap his gun in two and drop it beside him.Me and Zach get ready to leave the store when the owner comes up to us and says"i'm sorry for the way I treated you two and thanks for saving my store please pick a piece of jewelery for both of you.I say "thank you this isn't the way I thought this day would turn and what's your name"The owner says"my names John".I tell John all about Lisa and ask him what I should get her?John brings me over to a table where theres a gold necklace studed with diamonds and he says "take this with my thanks".I thank him and see that Zach picked out a golden fox tooth necklace.As me and Zach are walking out and saying goodbye to John I ask Zach why he got a fox tooth necklace.Zach answers and says"because if I wasn't a fox i'd be dead".I say "don't let Lisa see any of the jewelery until christmas because I want it to be a surprise".He sighs and says "okay I won't".I thank him as we are walking back to lab.When we get back to the lab me and Zach are greeted by Lisa and the still red furred Tim.They say asked "what happened at the jewelery store".Me and Zach say "they denined us service and kicked us out but as we were leaving a man tried to rob the the store and everyone got on the ground expect Greg".They ask me what I did next and I say "I lost my temper and used a soundwave and flung the robber against the wall".Lisa asks me "are you hurt"?I say "no but I'm tired and want to go to sleep".She nods and leaves the room as the door shuts behind her I tell Tim about the gift I got her for christmas.Tim looks at the necklace and says"wow, how did you pay for this"?I tell him how the store owner gave me and Zach these necklaces.
Decemeber 25th 2009 I wake up and start excerising for about a good ten minutes until theres a light knock on the door.I get up from my excerises to answer the door and see that it's Lisa she instantly hugs me and says "merry christmas my love"with a big smile.I say "I got you something but you have to wait until our the rest of our troop wakes which won't be long now".Me and Lisa hear Tim stirring in his sleep he also starts growling and his fur spikes up.Me and Lisa start talking about how we became hybrids in the first place.Lisa says "I became a hybrid after I saw your and Tim's transformation to hybrids worked I was a researcher for Base Alpha for a few years and my live was really boring so I decided that I'd become a hybrid like you and there was a few minor complations involving my powers like I was suppose to use fire not ice they don't know what went wrong"as Tim woke and rubbed his eyes and said "ohh that's so cute maybe you two will have pups"he said with a grin.I threw a pillow at him and said"Tim shut up".Lisa giggled at the joke Tim made as we all heard a knock at the door."Must be Zach" I thought as I opened the door and it was Zach.Zach asked "are you guys ready for breakfest I heard it will be something in the theme of christmas".We all stood up and walked to the mess hall we passed a few other hybrids in the hall.When we arrived we saw that they had a buffet with ham,candies,milk,and most of all a christmas tree complete with presents for all the staff stationed here.We got our food and we went over to the tree and grabbed our presents and sat down.My friends said" you should open your presents first Greg".I said "but first iv'e got something special for a certain someone at this table".As soon as I finshed talking Tim said "it's for me right"?We all broke into laughter.Then I gave Lisa her present from me.She opened it and gave me a kiss and asked me how I got it.So i told her how I got it and she then gave me another hug and says "you did that all for me"?I say "yes because I love you Lisa".She says "I got you all something but it's more of an upgrade on you powers".Confused we all look at her and listen to what she has to say.She goes on about what she was saying"Tim you get a stealth upgrade so you can sneak behind enemy lines and attack within"."Zach you get increased stamina so you can run longer"."Greg you get a choice between two powers,nightstalker or fire.I ask " what' nightstalker"?She answers my question saying"it makes you fight better see better and rises all your senses when the moon is visable".I say "why can't I have both"?She says "Because your bodies can't handle the extra strain it works this way for all hybrids".I say"I guess i'll take the nightstalker powers".Lisa says "great we will start start tommorow with everyones upgrades".Tim asks "Lisa what's your upgrade going to be".Lisa says "my upgrade is nothing my body can't handle it"she says in a sad tone.I say "don't worry about it Lisa".That puts a smile on her face and she says"thanks Greg".Tim says "guess what the lab got me".Me and Lisa say "a chewtoy".To our surpise Tim says "yup how did you know"?I say" because I was joking"in serious voice.Lisa says "Tim remember last week when you attacked that scienctist who said for you to go get flea medicine fur-bag".Tim says "well yeah of course I do he had to get stiches in his leg so how could I forget".Lisa says in a serious voice "maybe he was in charge of the gifts".I open my gift to find a letter that says "take this with my blessing this combat knife has saved my life more then once the knifes name is moonbane as the blade is made of a moon rock that is rarer then platium and stronger the hardest steel ever forged,good luck my son love dad"I was shocked I never knew my dad but now he knows where I live and what iv'e become,suddenly something taps on my shoulder I turn around to see Lisa.Lisa asks me "Greg what's in your hands"?I say "nothing"as i run off to my room.A little later a theres three knocks on my door,as I open it two hybrids have guns and the point them at me.I put my hands in the air and realize Downfalls attacking the base as my eyes widen in fear the two hybrids approach me.I reach down to my side and grab moon's bane and stab them both as fast as lightning.As they fall to the ground I sprint down the hallway to the messhall a few hybrids come out of nowhere and ambush me.I use a soundwave and pick up a sub machinegun and blast a few.Suddenly two hybrids are on a ledge above me and they have Zach and they shoot him in the head and he falls on the ground.The next thing I know a hybrid sneaks up behind me and hits me in the back of the head,as my vision fades to black I hear the commander say "bring the prisoners and roll out".
Decemeber 26th 2009 I am awoken by two guards dragging me across a stone floor I see my hands are bound quite tightly and I try to break it.As I struggle the guards hear me and the bigger guard says "i'll take care of this"as he hits me with a stunrod as the world fades to black.I'm awoken by a human as I look around I see my hands are still bound but this time i'm in a metal chair without my armor and knife.He says "so your the one causing this much trouble to save something you can't ever save, a country without a leader you've killed a lot of my men so I ordered my men to kill one of yours the one called Zach"he says with a sharp grin in his face.I remain silent.He says "ohh your the slient type well let's make that change real quick,bring her in"I almost started to cry as the brought in Lisa she was all beaten up with her hands tied behind her back so she could'nt use her powers.He said"now start talking or we kill her".Lisa crys out "Greg don't tell them anything they will kill us anyways".I use a soundwave and fling them all across the room the my cuffs break and I put on armor and see my knife looks of a white color and on the blade it says "Do what's right".I pick it up and untie Lisa.She tries to stand up ,but falls instantly to the ground she yelps in pain.I see the door fly open and see the uninjuried Tim walk in to the room.Tim asks where Zach is and I tell him the bad news.Tim says "We'll make them pay for his death".I say that he needs to get Lisa out of here to safety.Tim says"I'm not leaving you here"I say "Tim please shes badly hurt it's her only chance"Tim agreeds and runs out of the room.The only thing I can think of is vengence for them hurting Lisa.I walk into the hall and hear a voice that I swear iv'e heard before.The voice says "the fight between the one you seek who hurt your beloved one will likely be the death of you"I chuckle and say"that's what they said at the hospital".The voice says".The voice says"I too was once cocky like that until I died"in a grim tone.I say"who's ghost are you"?The voice says"Zach's"as it fades away.Anger fills my body with rage and the fear that I may die.I walk to the end of the hall and sigh as I open the door to see my ememy sitting in a chair with his back turned to me he spoke "I knew you would come for your vengence"."I say "prepare to die for your crimes against the people of the United States of America and the murdering of Zach Allens".He slowly stands up and turns on the lights as five armed hybrid troopers come out of hiding and point their guns at me.He pulls out a forty-four magnum and says"this all could have been avoided if you would have done what I said,men open fire".I prepare to die and think of the things i'm going to lose my friends and my girlfriend Lisa.But suddenly a purple orb goes around my body and makes the bullets recoil back at the hybrids and they all fall dead and the orb disappears and I see the human is behind cover on the ground I kick him and say "get and fight like a man"as I hand him a sword.He stands up and says"how can I fight like a man when i'm fighting an animal".I charge him and he stabs me in the gut and I fall to the ground.He says "typical fight for a mutt" as he grabs his sword and prepares to kill me.I prepare for a soundwave to fire at him and time seems to last forever as I fired the soundwave at him,he fell backwards onto his sword impaling him.I look down to see a pool of blood coming out of my stab wound.I look around and see a shadowy figure approach me as my vision fades.
Decemeber 28th 2009 I wake to see i'm on a hospital bed and see my friend Tim and my girlfriend Lisa.Tim says"i'm glad to see your alive you were in pretty bad shape when we found you".Lisa interjects and says "Greg I love you and always will"as she kisses my muzzle. "I love you too,Lisa Fisher"I say with a smile on my face.Tim says with a smile on his face"aww look at the cute couple".I use my powers to dump a glass of water on Tim's head and he growls at me.Me and Lisa say "look at the big scary wolf".He reaches out to slap me and I make a orb of protection and it flings him at the wall and me and Lisa laugh.He stands up and asks"how did you do that"?I say "when i'm in danger I can make a sphere that makes a shield around my whole body".Lisa says "I upgraded your powers while you were asleep".I say "thanks Lisa"We talk for a while until visiting hours are over and they have to leave ,tommorow I can leave the hospital and start training again.
