Later, as he approached the malt shop the incident occurred the previous day, Stevo was still walking with his suitcase while wearing the new clothes the Figure packed inside the suitcase hours ago. Wearing a red and black plaided long-sleeve jacket, blue long jeans with a belt wrapped around the waist, and pearly white sneakers (and clean boxers too), he came in to see the same quiet sound from yesterday, but to see a couple of girls wearing poodle skirts rushing by him to get to school on time. "Excuse us! *giggling*" said Lorraine (Stevo knew who she was, but she doesn't know him), then they rushed down the sidewalk past the windows.

"Stephen!" yelled Mr. Caruthers from behind the malt counter. "What can I get you for breakfast?" Stevo approached the front and sat down on one of the stools.

"Um, I'll have a mocha frappe, cold." Caruthers looked completely confused.

"Excuse me?" Stevo forgot that Starbucks wasn't around in the 1950's.

"Sorry, um... regular coffee with creamer and a few ice cubes in it."

"Why ice cubes?"

"My tongue gets raw quick when I drink it hot." Caruthers grabbed his rag and began serving up his coffee.

"Oh, okay then. One sweetened coffee with ice coming up!" As he was getting it ready, there was a short yelling coming from outside. Stevo looked back to see who that was. Stopping from being out-runned, Biff yelled at Lorraine and her friend as they ran. "Someday, Lorraine! Someday you'll be my wife!" he yelled as he pointed, then began walking back to his car. Stevo forgot about destroying the sports almanac when he saw Old Biff sitting inside.

"Stephen, your coffee is ready." He turned back.

"Oh, uh, thank you." Stevo chugged the whole mug in a few gulps, then clapped it against the counter. Caruthers couldn't believe what Stephen just did. Stevo then got up, grabbed his suitcase and began heading out the door in a rush.

"Stephen, your tab!" He turned as he was about to head out.

"Here's a dollar!" Stevo folded the dollar into a paper airplane like he did before and threw it back, landing in front of him. He continued to head out to go after the two Biffs and the almanac.

When they stopped at Young Biff's house, Old and Young Biff got out and went out the garage door and continued their conversation (their argument, more like it). Without being seen, Stevo peeked out to the front to see that it was still sitting on the dashboard. He carefully leaned over to grab it, but was cut off and was forced to retreat to the back seat under the pile of coats when Young Biff came back in and shut the garage door. Stevo tried to get comfortable when the rustling started to get Biff's attention.

"Who's that?!" Biff sparked and started looking around himself quickly. He looked over at the backseat to notice some dirty sneakers lying near the car door. Underneath, Stevo panicked as he heard Biff leaning over closer to where he was lying. But just as Biff was about to snatch the coats off quickly, a yelp of someone interrupted his train of thought.

"Biffy! Is that you out there?!" an old lady yelled from the inside.

"Yea, grandma! *ugh*"

"Get back in here before you catch a cold!"

"Alright!" Biff walked away from his car and went inside for the rest of the afternoon. Stevo waited a minute, then quickly grabbed the almanac and jumped out to make an escape when he saw that the garage door was locked.

'Crap.' Stevo became disappointed, but had an idea when he looked at the front cover. He walked to the chair sitting at the front end of the garage and began reading the NASCAR section.

That evening, when he finished reading the last page of the book, Stevo shut it up and looked at the time on the clock right beside the door, but the moonlight through the window and beaming at its glass made it sorta hard to see, but he knew that it's almost time for the "Under the Sea" dance to start.

"Clemson had to win that game in '81." Suddenly, yelling occurred for the first time since hours ago.

"Biffy, don't forget your coat!" the grandma yelled inside.

"I got one in the car! And stop calling me Biffy!" Stevo snapped and quickly ran to the backseat of the car and hid under the cold, leather coats.

"Whew. *gasps*" Stevo forgot to put the almanac back on the dashboard. He, at the flick of his wrist, threw it up there. Luckily it looked closed as it was earlier. The door opened and Stevo quickly hid. Biff walked to the back of the garage and opened the door up and turned around, jumped into the driver's seat, started the car, backed out of the driveway, and drove off through the dark, was-quiet suburban street towards Hill Valley High School.

A few minutes later, Biff stopped at the curb near the school back entrance and got out, with a bottle of alcohol hidden in his front pants pocket. His friends that were with him at the malt shop met him and went into the gym for the dance. Once they left, the only thing Stevo could hear when he peaked from under the coats was the sound of Marvin Berry's band playing a jazzy song. He noticed that the almanac was still on the dashboard.

"Now's my chance to grab it and get outta here." So he got up from under the coats, reached over to get it, quickly jumped out and made a run for it when-*oof*

"Hey watch it-... YOU!" It was Biff and his gang, all drunk and looking for trouble after spiking the fruit punch.

"Uh, hehe... oh crap." Stevo tried to dash off, but Biff got a hold of him and they both started to fight until a couple of minutes later, as Biff's gang continued watching the fight, a group of black people showed up and tried to break it up.

"Hey, stop fighting!" Marvin yelled at Biff, pulling him back from Stevo.

"This doesn't concern you, gator bait!" Biff wiggled around trying to get loose.

"What did you say, peckerwood?" Marvin and his gang surrounded them, then they all retreated with 2 black men chasing after them.

"Kid, you alright?" Marvin and his men helped Stevo get back up.

"Yeah, a few bruises don't bother me."

(Sorry for the font change, somehow, due to the site overload yesterday, I'd lost the rest to it, so i had to upload the rest from my flash drive)

Then, the sound of Marty's voice and guitar playing Johnny Be Good broke most of the silence outside of the gym, except for the gusting wind.

"Wait, aren't y'all supposed to be in there playing music?" Stevo asked Marvin.

"Nah, all of us are on break, but I don't think that counts since Freddie and L.C. are playing too."

"Heh, um, well thank you for getting those bozos outta here."

"No prob, man." Marvin stuck his hand out and Stevo shook it. Suddenly, the bell tower rung loudly. It was 10:00 PM. The lightning is gonna strike in 4 minutes.

"Well, I better be heading back before this wind starts blowing me away like Mary Poppins." The guys laughed and Stevo began to walk off when Marvin yelled back.

"Hey kid! You forgot this!" Stevo looked back and saw him waving the almanac in the air and ran.

"Here you go." Marvin handed him the book.

"Thank you." Stevo turned around, hid the book under his jacket, and then continued walking out of the school parking lot.

'Strange, 'wonder what kind of car it was on the cover.' Marvin thought.

As he walked, he passed by a group of teens surrounding a white Packard, one taking a photo of it. 'Good thing that wasn't me lying there.' he thought, then continued walking across the street when he stopped in front of a bench. Just as he was about to sit down, a flash of light and a crack of thunder occurred, making him jump back and hit his head against the left arm, knocking him out and laid across the bench for the rest of the night.

*fly buzzes*
