Classroom Zoo-- Part 1

When a college classroom gets a visit from a witch, the students are turned into animals and transported to a magical dimension of many wonders. Exploring and experiencing this strange new world, the students learn about magic, monsters, and a 1001 ways to get it on.

Rain drummed against the classroom windows. The early morning outside was darkened by a sky of storm clouds. The ground was covered with a blanket of moving water. The inside of the classroom was well-lit and alive with the chatter of several dozens of students. Class was about to begin and the lot of them slowly moved into their seats.

The professor walked into the door. No, it wasn't their professor Ms. Katterby. It was another woman. She wore an navy blue pantsuit and looked to be in her thirties. None of the students recognized her.

"Good morning, class," she said, "Ms. Katterby can't make it today. She's under the weather. I'll be your substitute. The name's Ms. Darwin."

"Is it something contagious?" asked Kelly, a front row girl with blond hair.

"Not exactly," said Darwin.

She was carrying a rather large workcase. It made a loud thump when she set it down on the front desk. She walked up to the board and wrote her name-- Ms. Darwin. A quick look over the classroom showed that just over forty students were present. More than enough to make one of Ms. Darwin's famous classroom zoos. The fun was about to begin.

"So," she said, "I've been teaching for over two hundred years now. My method is a little unorthodox but I think if we all communicate with each other, things will go as smoothly as possible."

There was a quiet giggle among the classroom. Darwin paced around and took a look at the chalkboard. What the name of the class was, she didn't even bother. In a few minutes, the curriculum would change drastically.

Nathan called forth from the back of the classroom, "You're pretty young for a professor. Are you sure you're not a student?"

Darwin giggled and walked back over to her workcase, "You flatter me, but no I'm young-looking. I'm a lot older than I look."

Another giggle went around the room but some students were less than amused by the professor's age joke.

The professor opened up her workcase and, to no surprise of her own, out came a soft purple mist. The students were puzzled, although some cynically assumed it was just another stupid joke from an overenthusiastic professor. Quiet chatter murmured through the class.

Darren, a front row boy, smiled, "Aw sweet, incense!"

The class laughed. Darwin giggled as well, "I see this class is full of jokesters. Good. Just more people for me to screw around with."

Darwin raised and arm and pointed at Darren. A bolt of purple electricity shot out of Darwin's finger at Darren. The class gasped and went silent. Darren was petrified in fear unable to grasp what just happened. Then he tried to speak.

"Ook! Ook!" he barked. Gone was his human voice and in its places were the cries of a monkey.

Another gasp went over the classroom. A voice came from the back, "Whoa! What kind of trick was that?"

Darren had eyes wide as dinnerplates and he stamped his hands over his mouth. Those barks were his own. He felt the air moving up his throat and coming out of his mouth. He couldn't move or breath. The shock left him paralyzed.

Darwin chuckled, "Settle down, class. That's just a taste of things to come."

"H-how are you doing this?" Marty, a bespectacled student from the second row, asked, "Did you come in here before class and set up some equipment?"

Darwin smiled slyly, "What? Don't think it's real?" she reached out a finger at Marty, "Then how about this!"

Darwin shot a bolt of lightning at Marty. Within an instant, the human figure once known as Marty was replaced by an anthropomorphic beaver wearing much the same duds as Marty before him. A terrorized panic arose in the classroom, which some high-pitched screams made notice. Like Darren, Marty was paralyzed with fear.

Marty's new form was a lot weightier than his previous frame. He was a rotund beaver, and his clothes had been magically resized to fit him. His sweater had expanded to cover his thick furry arms and large stomache. His legs had grown in mass in the same manner complete with a large waist and butt. His jeans had grown many sizes to compensate and even utilized a large hole on the back for his beaver tail that hung out of the side of the chair. Strangely, his shoes had disappeared, leaving bare beaver feet.

Students were hopping out of their seats and making panicked cries. Randy, a shifty-looking boy, took the opportunity to race for the classroom door and escape.

Darwin gave out an amused chuckle, "Not so fast!"

She fired another magic bolt at Randy transforming him into a lanky white rabbit. Looking at himself, Randy was terrified but he wasn't stopped. After gathering his bearings he opened up the classroom door and ran out. The door magically shut behind him.

"Nobody follow him," said Darwin, "He won't get far."

Bolts of violet lightning began to arise out of Darwin's workcase. They rose up and scattered on the roof, making the lights flicker. Ever slightly, the contours of the classroom began to change.

"Everyone remain seated," said Darwin.

Most students slowly returned to their seats. A girl was not having that though. She had retreated to the back of the classroom and looked around with terrified eyes. Darwin sighed, shrugged, and then snapped her fingers. In a flash, the girl was turned into a white poodle. She stood on shaky digitigrade feet and looked down her body.

"Wh-what did you do to me?" the girl asked.

"Sit, dog!" demanded Darwin.

The poodle girl walked slowly on trembling legs toward her seat in the back. All eyes were on her as the humanoid dog pulled out her chair and sat down at the empty desk. She was careful to direct her tail out the chair's bottom hole. Both the student sitting in front of her and the student behind were uncomfortable being in her proximity.

The mist coming out of the workcase started to shift toward the students. Evan, one of the students sitting in front of the teacher's desk, noticed the mist and began to look around the room in a panic. As the mist got closer, purple electricity started to ride down his desk, and even touch his arms. His face started to shift, and as the mist got closer and closer, a thick tail burst out his pants, his shoes gave away to big furry feet, and a long snout grew out in front of him. He had turned into a kangaroo.

He looked at his furry hands with the browning padding, then felt his snout, and hoped that the warm, wet feeling in his pants was just part of the transformation.

"Admittedly," said Darwin, "I prefer a more... natural classroom area. It's an ideal learning environment."

Some of the tiles on the floor began to shift and raise. Some students could hear the rumble underneath over the murky bellowing of the professor's magical workcase. Bits of concrete warped and pushed up, creating small bumps on the floor.

"What are you!?" asked a girl near the window.

Darwin shot another beam at the girl, turning her into chicken. It took a few seconds for the girl to notice the featery white hands she had. The floor was suddenly cold as her shoes and socks had disappeared with her transformation, leaving her new bird feet bare on the ground. Her deskspace felt tighter than before and her ass was wrapped around her seat, but when you suddenly put on a large amount of fat and your body expands in front, side, and rear directions, those feelings are common. Her clothes resized to fit her new shape, of course.

"Do not bellow out such rude questions!" said Darwin.

"O-oh my gaaaaawd!!" said the girl as she looked up and down her new birdy body, "What did you turn me into? A bird--"

Darwin fired another bolt at the girl and she went quiet. The girl couldn't make a word.

"What did I just say?" said Darwin with a scoff, "Stay quiet for awhile."

The girl realized she had been muted and settled into her seat, looking nervous and apologetic at Darwin. Many students around her couldn't take their eyes off. The boy sitting behind her resisted the urge to feel her body and see if she was real.

A boy towards the middle of the classroom raised his hand, "Um, a-are you going to hurt us?"

"Not too much," said Darwin, "I get my kicks in a different fashion."

Another beam shot out of Darwin's fingertip. The boy went from human to horse, and he knew it right away. He slowly lowered his head to look at his hands, now covered with brown fur- fingers with hoof-like tips. A long brushy tail came out his backside. His legs had warped to include new digitigrade feet with hard equine hooves.

The boy tried to ask for an explanation, but was so nervous all that came out was a whinny. He covered his mouth in shock.

More students had noticed what was happening to the floor. The tiles were almost melting as the cement underneath became visible. The bag at the front of the room was getting louder and the smoke was getting thicker. Creaks came inside the walls. The whole classroom was getting captured in the madness.

The party had just begun.
