Zenaku is back, and after the attacks on Testify and Silverback last week he's coming back for one thing . . . revenge on Soultiger and his new stable L.A.N.C. (Large and In Charge). But things change drastically when Zenaku is faced with a match that even he doesn't see coming. Also what's the main event for Take No Prisoners going to be with the pay-per-view being only six days away?

G.R.R.

Chapter 4

By: Silverback Christianpaw

Zenaku

I stand around the monitor in the back with everybody else as the show starts up. I am still mad as hell that Testify was attacked last week and I couldn't do anything about it since I was several hundred miles away at my house puking my brains out. But I'm here now, and I want to get my paws on Soultiger. I'll interrupt this show if I have to.

Testify was very happy to see me, in fact he hasn't left my sight since I arrived at the building. Although I am happy to see him too I felt horrible seeing those stitches on his forehead from the attack last week. He walks over to me with a little half-smile as we wait for the show to start.

"Hey guys guess what?" Coach Striker comes running up behind us, "I just heard the reason that Ms. Draxa hasn't made a main event for the pay-per-view yet is because Soultiger and her signed a contract agreeing that he doesn't have to defend his championship. What kind of bullshit is that?"

"That is bullshit," I say to him.

"Yeah Silverback is pissed. But I told him to stay home tonight to rest up. He got a couple of really bad cuts near his right eye for what that fucker Soultiger did with that Championship belt."

Testify growls, "Yeah, I didn't fare too well either."

"Well Ms. Draxa told all of those guys to explain their actions at the top of the broadcast. So hopefully we'll at least get some answers."

I glare at the monitor as the music for the show starts blasting throughout the arena. Soultiger, the husky brothers, and Clyde all stand in the ring as the fans in the arena boo them. Soultiger has a microphone in his paw,

"Alright, Ms. Draxa said that I owe you low-class idiots an explanation for why I attacked Testify and Silverback last week. First of all, let me remind all of you, I am the G.R.R. World Heavyweight Champion."

The crowd's boos are deafening.

"And being the champion, there is a target on my chest, because everybody in that wrestling locker room is gunning for me. Now, I could choose to be a fighting champion and take on all comers . . . or . . . I could be a smart champion. You see, it's very tough to make friends in this business, somebody to watch your back and keep you on your toes. Well, I plan on being World Champion for a long . . . damn . . . time.

"Therefore I decided to make what I like to call, a contingency plan. I decided to align myself with the very best in this business, and that is what you see in this ring, the best. The G.R.R. Tag Team Champions in the husky brothers,"

The crowds boos focus on them.

Soultiger looks up at Clyde with a smile, "And the newest member of the G.R.R. roster, my new bodyguard, Clyde S. Dale."

Clyde smiles into a laugh as the crowd boos him as well.

"Now, in regards to attacking Silverback and Testify last Thursday, what we did was make a statement. A statement, to that entire locker room, that we run the show here. We are the best in this business. Dare I say, even though I am a feline, the alpha males of Gold Rush Restling. Because we are the best! There is nobody else in this arena or in the locker room that can beat us! We are Large and In Charge. Let me say that again so everybody can understand, we are the L.A.N.C., Large and In Charge. And we will rip right through this company one wrestler at a time. So there's your damn explanation Ms. Draxa, thank you, and good night."

I growl and walk over to the technical table and grab a microphone, "Play my music," I tell the technical advisor sitting at the table. A moment later my music started playing as I walk out from behind the curtain and into the arena. The crowd cheers me on as I make my entrance. But my focus is on those guys in the ring,

"Hold on Soultiger," I say into the mic, "I have a bone to pick with you. I understand you wanting to promote yourself, however, you did it at the expense of two very good friends of mine, and you see that doesn't sit well with me."

I hear a smattering of cheers.

"The rumor back in the locker room is that you personally went to Ms. Draxa's office and pleaded with her not to face Silverback at Take No Prisoners for the G.R.R. Championship because you are scared to be in the ring with him."

The crowd cheers even more.

"That's a lie! Whoever told you that is lying! I can beat Silverback any time, any place!" Soultiger says angrily.

"I mean it all makes sense! There is no main event for Take No Prisoners in six days yet, and the Silverback/Soultiger match isn't headlining the card. Instead, Silverback is getting attacked by you and your entourage, and being left in a pool of his own blood. You know, if it wasn't for your L.A.N.C. I would be coming down to that ring right now and giving you a piece of my mind!"

The crowd cheers even louder.

Soultiger smiles wide, "Why don't you come on down tough guy? You can join your friends in the hospital, come on let's go!"

Suddenly somebody else's music starts kicking on. I don't know who's until I see Ms. Draxa come out from behind the curtain with a microphone in her paw, the crowd cheers even louder for her. I wonder what she has to say, she doesn't come out here often.

"You know Soultiger," she says into her microphone, "Zenaku brought up a very interesting point. I also heard that rumor that's running around the locker room. Soultiger, I didn't give you a title defense at Take No Prisoners because you came into my office with a doctor's note saying you were recovering from a minor wrist injury. So I did what a good boss would do and for your safety, I let you take it easy for a few weeks and didn't give you a title defense at the pay-per-view. But your wrist didn't look bad to me when you attacked two of my G.R.R. wrestlers last week."

Even though I'm far from the ring I could see him starting to sweat all nervously as she talks,

"Now the contracts are signed, so there's nothing I can do about a title match at Take No Prisoners. However, you didn't say anything about defending that Championship tonight." The crowd screams for a match.

Soultiger has a stupid looking grin on his face, "Hold on Ms. Draxa, I see where you are going with this. I have no problem defending this championship tonight, but Silverback is not here, so no deal, no match. Sorry," he laughs with his buddies.

"Actually, I wasn't talking about Silverback. See Soultiger, in tonight's main event here at Warzone, you will be defending that G.R.R. Championship against . . . Zenaku."

The crowd comes out of their seats with cheers.

What? Me? Oh my God! I get a shot at the World Championship?! This is incredible!

"Are you serious?" I ask her off mic.

"Yep, you better get ready," she says to me with a smile. Soultiger starts throwing a fit at his entourage.

"Whoa, whoa, Ms. Draxa, this is unfair!"

She starts to get a little mad and goes back to the microphone, "You know what Soultiger; honestly, I don't care if it is fair or not, that Championship match is happening tonight! Good luck." Her music kicks on before Soultiger can say anything else.

I still can't believe this, a world championship match, this is so awesome! Soultiger throws his microphone down on the ground at stomps around shaking the ropes angrily. Well tonight I'll show him what anger is, I'm coming for the championship . . . as well as revenge.

Testify and I rush back to the hotel as soon as we could. Since I didn't know I was going to be in a match tonight I decided to just leave my gear back at the hotel. I slip the key-card into the reader and it automatically unlocks. I open the door and go straight for my bag.

"I know," I plead with Testify, "but I want to get back at those tight-asses so bad for what they did to you last week." I am angry; I came to the show looking for revenge, not a championship.

"I know, and I appreciate it, I appreciate that a lot actually, but you have a shot at taking his title away, and that's one hell of a way of getting even."

"Yeah, maybe, except I want to smack that stupid looking grin off his face with something more ethical, you know, like a steel chair."

"No! You can't use a chair or anything like that or you will get disqualified and championships cannot change paws on a disqualification, you know that.

"Yeah," I growl. I never thought I could be so morose about getting a championship opportunity. Because nobody hurts my fox! I hate myself for being unable to help him, because Testify called me after it happened and it made that week even more hell for me. I didn't even watch Uncensored that week because I couldn't bear to see the attack. The very thought of seeing Testify hurt haunts me.

"Okay, let's go," I say to him getting my bag.

"Hold on," he says. He's got a smile on his face. How can he smile during a time like this? I'm fuming. But that smile is so cute.

He gives me a big hug. His ear presses against my chest. I look down at him and see his beautiful tail wagging behind him as I wrap my arms around him,

"What's up hun?" I ask him.

"I just wanted to say thank you for caring so much about me."

I crack a smile, "You're my friend hun, and I l-love you. I've always got your back." I tried not to stutter but I'm a little afraid of how he is going to react to me saying 'I love you.'

"Hehe love you too," he says back.

Oh my gosh, it feels so good to hear those words from him. I mean, yeah sure, if I asked him how much he meant that he would probably say he means it in a friendly way, and I'm okay with that . . . well, I guess.

It would be very nice if we could be mates. But I know he's straight, well, he's claiming to be straight anyway. I think he's gay, but he's too afraid to admit it. He's always holding back, it's so obvious. He should be who he truly is. But I'm not going to say anything; I don't want to hurt his feelings. I just hope he comes out with it one day, because there's a lot I want to say to him if that day ever comes.

"You coming?" he asks me. I look down again and he's not there. I quickly turn and see he's at the door already. I guess I didn't notice him breaking the hug. Ugh, I have to focus on my match.

"Yeah I can come," I say with a smile as I slap his butt.

"Whoa! Hey!" he says with that cute little laugh he always gives me when I do something like that. There have been many times where I will see him blushing beet red but I don't want to tell him. It makes it more fun for me.

"Don't you want to wish me a good match?" I bend over and wave my butt at him. I whimper a little and give him my begging eyes.

He blushes and says, "Okay, just this once."

"Yay!" My tail wagging. Slap! He smacks my rear end and my tongue pops out of my muzzle.

"Ooh!" I'm a happy wolf now, "Oh Testify! One more--" I wiggle my butt again.

"No, that's enough," he says, trying to pretend like he didn't like it.

"Awww, pwease?" I pretend to whimper as I push my butt closer to him.

"Tell you what; I'll give you another one if you win the title tonight."

"Deal," I say. I'm waiting for that day.

* * *

My music kicks on and thunders throughout the arena. The ten-thousand, twenty-thousand, I don't know how many-thousand fans come to their feet as I walk down the entrance ramp and slide into the ring. The entrance filled with cheering and booing, very little booing, along with tons of camera flashes. Mix that in with my heavy-metal entrance music and it's like a big rock concert. I hit the ropes and do some quick last second stretches.

Suddenly a different song starts playing that has a bunch of sound bites of tiger's roaring and Soultiger's stupid voice as he comes out from behind the curtain and down the ramp. The crowds boos fill my ears, but Soultiger doesn't care about boos. He doesn't care about one fan. All he cares about is that piece of gold that is around his waist. Well I'll take it from him tonight.

He crawls through the ropes and hits all the corners of the ring flexing his big sculpted muscles. I'm just a big wolf; I don't have the proper genetics that this tiger has.

Ding-ding. The bell rings. Soultiger stares down at me with the championship still on him. He unsnaps it and shows it to me, like I haven't seen it before,

"This will never be yours canine," he says to me from across the ring, "This is mine!" He paws the belt to the referee who quickly paws it to a nearby official.

I growl to myself to get psyched up, I'm going to have to put my personal feelings aside if I am going to walk out of this ring with the championship. Title opportunities don't come around very often so I must capitalize. I didn't get the chance to watch a tape of one of his matches so I better be ready for anything.

He walks and stands in the middle of the ring. I walk to the center and look right in his face. He extends his paw, "Good luck," he says. I never thought I'd hear him say that, it's got to be a trick. I look down at his paw and he slaps me across the face.

"Ha!" he snarls. I knew he was going to do that. I smile at him before I deck him with a hard right paw. BAM! He goes down and scurries himself to the corner. The crowd starts cheering for me. I keep growling and stand poised and ready to grapple. He just looks at me and wipes some spit from his muzzle.

He gets back up and lunges in for the grapple. He being the swifter of us hooks his arm under my leg and lifts me up and slams me back down with a suplex. I quickly get back to my feet and spring for attack. But he sees it coming and gets his arms around my waist and throws me over his head for another suplex. I quickly get back up. He hooks his arm under mine for another throw but I quickly untangle out of it. I go for a clothesline, he ducks it, I land a kick to his gut, he groans, I hit him with another, and another. I shoot him into the ropes and when he comes springing back I go for the clothesline again, but once again he ducks it. He runs across the ring, bounces off the ropes but I get my foot up and it hits him dead in the face. The crowd cheers. Soultiger slithers out of the ring and onto the floor holding his jaw.

"Get in here!" I shout to him as the referee starts the count. If he gets himself counted out he will retain the title. I wait until the referee gets to the count of five to make a move. I walk over and grab him violently by his ears but he quickly pulls me out of the ring under the bottom rope by my ankle and decks me across the face. I reach up to check and see if there's a tooth he didn't knock out but before I can recover he grabs me by my ears and slams my face hard into the metal steps.

"Ohhh," the crowd says.

My face bounces back up, I turn back around but Soultiger is ready picking me up and slamming me back down on the floor with a big splat.

"Gahw!" The pain in my back shoots up and down my spine as the tiger gets back into the ring.

I get back up and try to ignore the pain as best I can. I slide into the ring after him. He meets me with a kick to my gut. He wraps his arm around my head and grabs the waist of my trunks, he wants a vertical suplex . . . but I won't let him. He attempts to get me up but I quickly wrap my leg around his to block it. He tries again, but no good. He breaks away and I punch him in the face. I want this son of a bitch to pay for what he did to Testify.

I punch him harder and harder in his face. He backs himself up into the corner for the break but I don't care, I hate his guts. I keep punching his skull in. He groans in pain with each blow and sinks down in the corner. He sits and I start stomping away at his chest.

"Zenaku, get him out of the corner! Get him out of the corner!" The referee tells me. He grabs me by the arm and I break away. He keeps lecturing me but I focus on Soultiger as he gets himself back up.

I charge as fast as I can and splash my big body against his in the corner.

"Ahhh!" he moans and cringes in pain. He may be stronger but I am still bigger, so a splash in the corner will work very effectively.

I back up and see the anger in his face. He hisses and charges me but I hook my arm under his as he comes in and take him down with an arm drag. I get back up and start stomping away at his face. I back myself up into the ropes and come back, jump up and come down with a leg drop across his throat.

I hear him groan as I cover him. The referee counts,

"One . . . Two . . ." but the tiger kicks out of it before the three. I growl and pick him up by his ears and wrap my arm around his head and drop back down twisting it into a neck-breaker. I go for the cover again and again the cunning tiger kicks out.

I'm starting to get very mad, I just want to beat the shit out of him but can't because it will cost me the match.

I pick him up again and decide I'm going to throw him outside. I run him to the ropes but he reverses it and before I can even blink he sends me over the top rope and out to the floor.

I smack the floor again in pain. The crowd starts to seriously boo. I look back up at the ring and see a big smile on Soultiger's face, but he isn't looking at me. I turn and find the husky brothers are standing at the top of the ramp. What the hell are they doing here?

I see smiles on their faces but I try to focus on the match. I slide back into the ring but Soultiger is ready to greet me with stomps to the back of my head before I can get up. He tumbles down onto his back, wraps his arm around one of my legs, and rolls me up for a quick pin. The referee counts,

"One . . . Two . . ." I kick out. We both get back up and he comes at me again scooping me off my feet and slamming me down to the mat again. My back still hurts from the first time hitting the floor. I'm trying everything I can to take him down but can't get any offense going. He's stronger and faster and more cunning than me and it's sure showing in the ring. But he's not the champion for nothing.

He gets behind me and wraps his legs around my waist and wrenches my head back with his arms for a submission. His paws pulling me up by my chin so it hurts my back even more.

"Do you want to give it up?" the referee asks me. If I tell him yes then he will ring the bell and the match will be over, and he will still be the champion, I can't let that happen.

"No!" I wheeze out. He pulls back even more, delivering more burning pain to my back. The referee keeps getting in my face asking me if I want to quit. I feel around until I find Solutiger's ankle and grab it. I need to get him to loosen the hold to get myself out. I push his leg away, he tries harder to keep the hold on but it's no use. He grunts angrily.

"Give up you punk ass bitch!" He grabs me again by my chin and drops the big elbow on my face.

I yelp in pain. He drops more and more vicious elbows to my face. I reach up and block one with my eyes closed and just throw my fist out there. It hits his jaw and he backs away. I get back up and try to force my eyes open through the pain and see him holding his jaw. He looks at me with his scorching red eyes.

He charges me but now I'm ready for him with a hard kick to his gut. I hook my arm around his head as he hunches over in pain and drop him on his head on the canvas.

"Aroooooooo," I pounce back up. The crowd cheers me on. I'm fired up now! I'm ready to take that title away from him.

I point at the turnbuckle and climb to the top rope. I turn myself around; his body is still knocked out in the ring. The crowd's cheers fire me up even more. I jump as high as I can and my big body comes down with a giant splash on him.

The canvas bounces and the crowd oohs and awws. I got the champion down. I hook his leg but don't see the referee anywhere.

"Hey, hey, get out of here! Get out of here!" I hear the referee argue. I look up and see one of the husky brothers is up on the apron of the ring. He's arguing with the referee, trying to distract him while I have the champion down. I get up and look at the husky.

BAM! I punch him in the head and he gets down from the apron. The referee gets out of the ring and continues yelling at the husky to get to the back.

I turn back around and there's the other husky brother right in front of me. In one swift move he wraps his arm around my neck and backflip's, sending my body to flip forward and down onto the canvas.

I hear the crowds boos. The husky brothers are famous for that move, when they do it together they call it the 2.0.

I try as fast as I can to shake the dizziness away. I get back to my feet but stumble to remain standing. When my vision becomes clear again Soultiger charges me and spears me with all his might into my stomach. It's the "pounce." I've seen him do it a million times to his opponents.

All I hear is the crowd's oohs as I hold my stomach in severe pain. I feel a body on me and hear smacks of a paw. I kick out of Soultiger's cover.

"What?!" Soultiger screams, "That was three! That was three!"

"It was two," I hear the referee tell him.

"It was three! Three! Three!" he keeps persisting.

I open my eyes and see him grabbing the referee by his shirt in the corner. I quickly get myself up. I grab his shoulder and violently swing him around. I kick him in the gut. I'll counter him finisher for finisher.

I put his head in between my legs and grab his hips. With all my strength I pick his big body up and slam him back down with all my might in a vicious Full-Moon-Powerbomb.

The crowd oohs again.

I quickly go for the cover; this might keep him down for good. The referee count's "One . . . Two . . .Th--" the count stops.

I look around and see the referee is no longer in the ring. I get up and see he's on the outside lying down on the floor in pain . . . next to the two husky brothers. They pulled him out of the ring before he could make the three! But I had Soultiger beat!

The referee gets back up and yells at the husky brothers. He's pissed and signals to ring the bell.

Ding-ding-ding. What? Oh my God! He just disqualified Soultiger for the unfair assist and he keeps the damn championship!

"The referee," the ring announces says to the crowd on his microphone, "has disqualified Soultiger. Therefore the winner of the match is Zenaku!"

But that doesn't mean a damn thing because championships cannot change paws on a disqualification! The victory means nothing!

BAM! I feel a punch behind my knee and I go down quickly. Within seconds the huskies and Soultiger start stomping away at me. In feel blows from every direction in this assault.

I hear somebody's music kick on and before I know it, the stomping stops. "Zenaku! Are you ok?!" It's Testify Fox. I turn over in pain and lay on my back. I see his beautiful blue eyes looking at me. Hehe, I love those beautiful eyes. I turn back over and get myself back up to my feet.

I look around and see a steel chair laying in the ring and Soultiger backing up the entrance ramp with the huskies . . . and that championship. Those cowards! They wanted to take me out like they did Silverback!

Suddenly somebody's entrance music pops on, and Ms. Draxa walks out from behind the curtain and stands at the top of the ramp with microphone in paw,

"Hold on! Nobody go anywhere! Because of what just happened I have made my decision! . . . Soultiger, you can't defend the title at Take No Prisoners? Well I'll give you one better: The main event this Sunday at Take No Prisoners will be the GRR Champion, Soultiger, teaming up with the Husky Brothers as you take on the team of Zenaku, Testify, and Silverback, in a six man tag team match!"

The crowd comes out of their chairs with cheers and roars. Soultiger and the huskies start freaking out. Oh yes! A Six man tag match at Take No Prisoners, I'm down with that. Ms. Draxa leaves the area just as fast as she showed up.

"Give me a mic," I ask an official outside the ring. He paws one to me,

"Hey! Soultiger!" I say into it, "I didn't get my revenge tonight, but I garun-damn-tee that Testify, Silverback, and myself will give all three of you the worst ass-kicking you've ever had in your life at Take No Prisoners!" I chuckle, "See you Sunday boys." I drop the microphone and my music kicks on. They just keep backing up the ramp until they are behind the curtain. I look at Testify who is smiling at me. I can't wait for Sunday.
