WARNING 18 AND OLDER.

Rescue Mission

Deep in the jungles of Nigeria, stood an old warehouse once used as a factory. Now, it holds as a base for Nigerian rebel soldiers. Heavily guarded by men near the age of twenty, all armed with AK-47's, handguns, and some with machetes. Although tonight, this ominous base was not only a place of death. For tonight, they had a hostage. Mr. Sorob. A man in his forties that now had his hands and feet tied and a filthy bag covering his head. He was locked in a small room, maybe a closet, and was lying on the floor. He was wearing a white dress shirt and slacks; both had his own blood stained on them. He's been wearing these clothes for two days now. Those two days were a painful and terrifying two days. He was never aware of his surroundings. The only clues he had to determine his location was the stench of rotting walls and the sound of the Nigerian guards. But after all the torture the man has been through, he still had worse things to come.

It seemed like a normal night at first, until the loud slam of the door opening woke up Sorob, still blinded by the bag over his head. Two Nigerian guards walked in. One of them walked over to Sorob and kicked him in the stomach.

"Wake up businessman!" Said the guard. "You have a meeting."

The force of the kick made Sorob cough extremely. Then the two guards picked him up by the arms and began dragging him out the door. Sorob was barely making an attempt to walk as the two guards dragged him from hallway to hallway. His hope for survival was still present, but his will to keep fighting was dead.

Finally, the guards came to a stop. The sounds were different here for the captive. Instead of the somber sound of silence, there were the voices of men in front of him, but not in his reach. It was more like the voices came behind a door. Suddenly, to his surprise, the sound of metal doors opening was right in front of him. The two guards began to drag him inside an echoing room, where the terrifying smell of blood caught Sorob's attention. He wanted to struggle, but he didn't have the strength. The room then echoed many angry voices screaming out nasty threats. "Kill him!", "Cut him in half!", "Break his legs!" The guards ended their trip by making Sorob sit on a wooden chair. The threats kept echoing, getting louder and louder.

"SILENCE!" Said a voice, now directly in front of Sorob. The room fell silent.

"Remove the bag." Continued the voice.

Once the bag was pulled of his head, Sorob became instantly terrified at the sight of the rebel's leader. He was the tallest of all the men and he also looked the strongest. He was in camouflage uniform with a red hat and a machete in his right hand. He stared at Sorob with burning hatred. Then, Sorob started to look at the group of rebel soldiers behind him.

"Look at me." Said the leader.

Sorob turned and looked at him.

"How does it feel?" Asked the leader now gazing at his machete.

Sorob looked confused. "What?" He said.

"How does it feel to be a businessman? To sign checks, meet new people..." The leader then looked away from his machete and stared back at Sorob. "To deliver weapons, to kill millions of soldiers with just a click of the pen!" The anger in his voice continued to rise.

Sorob looked down knowing that what he heard was true.

"You probably don't even remember." Said the leader. "You were probably busy with calls and things like that."

The leader then began to walk closer and closer to Sorob.

"You probably forgot how you treated us like ants and destroyed our homes and killed our men and then you left us to clean up your mess!" Said the leader. "Now, here we are surrounding you, and there you are, weak and helpless. Like an ant. Your life is in my hands now."

The group of rebels cheered. The noise from the room was echoed all around the old warehouse. It was loud, but it also provided a perfect distraction. Outside the warehouse, guards surrounded the perimeter, but they were unaware of the four intruders that lurked in the darkness of the night. In front of the warehouse were a few parked trucks. Behind the trucks was a jackal. He was covered in black fur and had gold fur on his chest and head. He was wearing a bulletproof vest, some padding, and ammunition, all of it in the color black. This was agent John Andrews. Crouching down with him was a coyote/fox wearing the same attire. He was equipped with a few more explosives than John and was a little bigger than him too. He had a sandy colored coat of fur with a little red fur too. This was agent Brantley Baker. As the two were crouched down behind a truck, John peered his head over the trunk. He quickly surveyed the building, and then crouched back down.

"Alright, we got two guards at the front." Said John. Then he clicked a button on his radio and said. "What do ya see Polkadot?"

Then, on top of a building, a few feet away from the old warehouse, was a snow leopard, also equipped, with snow-white fur and blue dots. He was lying down near the edge of the roof of the building. This was agent Nathaniel, or to his friends, Polkadot. He looked into a pair of binoculars and said.

"Well, I have much more than you John. There are two guarding the front and two guarding the left side doors. We also have two people circling the building."

John nodded his head.

"What's going on?" Asked Baker.

"Polkadot says there are six guys surrounding the place." Answered John.

Baker laughed a little and said. "Six? That's a freakin' invitation."

"We'll get the two circling the place, tell TP to get the rest."

Back on the building, a bay equine was holding a sniper rifle and lying down next to Nathaniel. He had a black mane, a stocky, ponyish, physique, and a pink snip on his nose. This was agent TP. He nodded his head to the command from John. Then John and Baker circled around the back of the trucks and tiptoed along the right side of the warehouse. Then they waited for the first guard to come. Once they saw one of the guards come from the back, John pulled out his two tranquilizer handguns.

"I got this one, warn me when someone is coming." Said John.

Then he crept over to the guard and stop at a distance where he couldn't be seen. He stretched out his arm and slowly aimed for the guard. He paused for a moment and then pulled the trigger. The dart sprang out and stuck the guard in the neck. The guard stopped walking and fell to the ground unconscious.

"Sleep well." Said John.

Then he quickly ran to the motionless body and began to drag it out of sight. Suddenly, Baker noticed the other guard was about to turn the corner and see John. Baker quickly ran up to the corner and waited.

"What's with you?" Said John.

"Shhh." Said Baker.

Then, when the guard turned around the corner, Baker quickly grabbed him by the head and began suffocating him. The guard struggled, but didn't make a sound. Then his struggling slowly went down. Soon he was motionless.

"Well, that's one way to do it." Said John.

"That's my way of doing it." Replied Baker.

"TP, your up." Said John. "Just don't miss, alright."

Back on the building, TP looked through the sniper's scope and said.

"I don't miss."

Then he quickly shot down the guards on the side door and took out the two guards in the front.

"Four guards, four shots. Not bad." Said Nathaniel.

Once every guard was down, the four of them regrouped at the front door. John gave TP one of his tranquilizer guns while Nathaniel and Baker both pulled out their M16's.

"Alright, I'm guessing that we have about 20 minutes to go in, get Sorob, and get out." Said Nathaniel.

"Okay, so how the hell we supposed to find him?" Asked Baker.

"I'll listen out for him once we're inside." Said John.

"Alright, but I don't think them darts is gonna protect you the whole time." Said Baker.

"Don't forget that this a stealth mission, Baker." Said John. "I'll use my rifle when I need it."

"Hey, are we going or not." Said Nathaniel.

"Alright then, I'm on point." Said John.

John slowly opened the door and looked around.

"Clear." Said John.

Then the team walked in the warehouse in a single file with John in front, then Nathaniel, then Baker, and TP watching the back.

Meanwhile, Sorob was still being tortured in the hands of the rebel leader. With fear controlling his thoughts, Sorob quickly said.

"Wait, it doesn't have to be like this. We can make a deal."

"Oh." Said the leader with a little sarcasm. "A deal he says!"

All the soldiers screamed in anger until the leader silenced them.

"Just...what do you want?" Said Sorob almost out of breath.

The leader came face to face with Sorob and said.

"From now on, you work for me and only me. Your other clients speak with you no longer."

"It's not that simple." Said Sorob.

"I believe it is."

"No, you don't know these people I work with. They're insane. They threaten me constantly just for weapons."

Then the leader punched Sorob in the face. Sorob fell to the floor, but the guards quickly put him back on the chair.

"If you do not work for me, then you are a threat!" Said the leader. He tightened his grip on his machete and said. "If you are a threat, then you most be disposed of!"

The rebels roared with anger. Then the guards held Sorob down.

"What shall I cut first!" Said the leader.

"No, please!" Screamed Sorob.

"How about his hands. The same hands that delivered the weapons that destroyed our home!"

Sorob started to struggle. The guards then forced his hands on a small stole. The rebels cheered louder and louder. Sorob struggled even more and his fear grew. No matter how hard he pulled, the guards would not let go of his hands. The leader came closer to Sorob, gripping the machete even tighter. Sorob was in mortal terror. Then the leader raised his machete over his head. The rebels cheered even louder. The leader was just about to make the slice until he heard three loud knocks on the metal door. The room was silent. The leader lowered his machete and said.

"Go see who it is."

One of the rebels obeyed and went to the door. He looked through a small hole in the door. Then he quickly turned around and screamed.

"Get dooooown!"

The metal doors blew of their hinges and fell to the ground. Dust filled the room. Suddenly, shots were fired. The rebel soldiers were all shot down one by one until only the leader and Sorob remained. The dust finally cleared and appearing from it was John, Baker, Nathaniel, and TP.

The leader was on the ground. The blast had made him fall on his back. He looked up to see his attackers and was surprised to see the team.

"What...what is this?" Said the leader. "What gives you the right to kill my men?"

"Well, for one thing, we got better guns." Said Baker.

The leader coughed a little and said.

"You...You are nothing...but animals. You can not stop us."

He then tried to stand on his feet, but TP shot him in the leg before he could. The leader screamed in pain.

"That'll shut him up." Said John.

Then Nathaniel and TP went over to Sorob and began untying him.

"Are you okay?" Asked Nathaniel.

Sorob gave the leopard a surprised look.

"Who are you?" He said.

"Your rescue team." Replied TP.

"They sent in animals to rescue me?" Said Sorob.

"Hey, we're not just animals alright. Besides, we could just leave ya here." Said John.

Sorob stopped talking.

"That's more like it." Said John.

Then, the sound of screaming soldiers caught everyone's attention.

"You here that." Said the leader with his leg still bleeding. "That is the sound of your deaths."

"That don't sound good." Said Baker.

"They know we're here." Said Nathaniel. "We need to get out of here now."

"Where's the plane?" Asked Baker.

"A few miles that way." Said John pointing to the south side of the warehouse.

"Right now, that plane is our safest way out of here." Said Nathaniel. "We should head straight for it."

"There's about 100 men outside waiting for us." Said Baker. "How the hell we supposed to get to the plane?"

TP loudly cocked back his rifle and said.

"By force."

"I like the way you think TP." Said Baker.

The team reloaded and readied their guns. Nathaniel finished untying Sorob and helped him get on his feet.

"Stay close to us if ya feel like living." Said John.

Sorob nodded his head.

"Alright, let's go." Said Nathaniel.

The team rushed out the door with Sorob.

"You will never escape!" Screamed the leader as the team ran out.

They ran through the hallways until they reached the back door. John opened the door and looked at the numerous amount of soldiers waiting for them.

"Take cover!" Said John as he ran behind the door. Everyone else followed. The soldiers took no time to fire everything they had at the team. Bullets were shot all around the entrance.

"TP!" Said John.

TP looked at John.

"I'm going in. Give me some cover." Continued John.

"Here's your opening." Said Baker pulling the pin on a grenade.

He threw it outside the door. A loud explosion was heard and the firing stopped for a second. John quickly took the opportunity and ran out the door. He shot down as many soldiers as he could, but the soldiers were getting ready to fire back.

"Hey!" Screamed John. "Where's the freakin cover fire!"

John quickly looked to the left and saw one of the soldiers aiming for him. He tried to fire his gun, but the clip ran out of bullets. Suddenly, the soldier was shot in the head. John looked behind him and saw TP firing his two pistols. Baker followed behind him. John quickly reloaded and said.

"What took ya so long?"

"Sorry." Said Baker firing his gun. "Our guest over there ain't feeling to comfy."

John began firing again and said. "Well tell him that we ain't his fucking babysitters."

Soon all the soldiers were down. Then Nathaniel and Sorob ran passed the three.

"They're coming from behind!" Screamed Nathaniel.

John, TP, and Baker followed behind them. Following them was a hoard of soldiers firing back. The team ran as fast as they could, but the solders were gaining on them. Then Nathaniel looked at the forest on the left.

"Follow me!" He said.

They ran deep into the dark forest. The only light guiding them was the moon.

"Why the hell are we in here?" Said John. "I can't see shit."

"I know and neither can they." Said Nathaniel pointing at the lost the soldiers.

"So we're in the clear?" Asked Baker.

"Not yet, we need to get out of here un-noticed." Said Nathaniel.

Then Nathaniel looked at his compass and said.

"This way."

The team continued to run. It didn't take too long for the soldiers to begin firing again, but their aiming became poor.

"Keep going and stay together." Said Nathaniel.

Suddenly, two soldiers jumped on John and tackled him to the ground.

"John!" Said Baker.

TP pulled out his dual blades in each hand and ran after him.

"Shit, we gotta help him." Said Baker

Then a large group of solders went after Baker and Nathaniel.

"We got bigger problems." Said Nathaniel.

The two started firing back.

As for John, he has buried under two soldiers who were trying to hold him down. But John managed to pick one up and throw him into a tree. He quickly turned around and punched the other soldier in the stomach and then the face. One of the soldiers tried to hit John from behind, until a knife flew right in to his chest. He fell down and John looked at the knife.

"I know that knife." He said.

He turned around and saw TP. He grabbed the knife, gave it to TP and said.

"Thanks mate."

TP nodded his head. Suddenly, more soldiers surrounded the two. John and TP stood back to back. John pulled out his handgun and said.

"Any chance you can give me one of those knifes?"

"You have claws, I don't." Said TP.

John laughed a little and said.

"Worth a shot."

"Kill them!" Said one of the soldiers.

The soldiers all charged at them. John shot and clawed everyone that charged at him while TP slice his way through every soldier. Not one person touched them. Eventually every soldier was down.

"Well, that takes care of that." Said John. "Where's Baker and Polkadot?"

"Going south." Said TP.

John reloaded his gun and said.

"Lets go."

TP took out his compass and started running south with John following behind him. After running for a while, the two finally reached the end of the forest. They ended up on a dirt road.

"Wait." Said John. "I know this road."

John pointed down the right side of the road.

"Matilda is that way." He said.

"You mean the plane?" Said TP.

"You know what I meant."

Then, three pickup trucks equipped with machine guns came from the right side of the road.

"Oh, you got to be kidding." Said John.

The soldiers fired and the two quickly found cover in the forest. The trucks were slowly driving closer to them.

"Where the hell are the others!" Said John.

Suddenly, Baker and Nathaniel ran out of the forest and hijacked the truck on the far right.

"I think they found us." Said TP.

Nathaniel punched out the gunner and grabbed the machine gun. He then fired at the other two trucks. He took out the soldiers and destroyed the other trucks. Then John and TP ran to the others.

"Nice shooting Polkadot." Said John.

"You think they'll be mad if we borrowed their truck?" Asked Baker.

"Of course." Said Nathaniel. "That's why we're taking it."

John opened the car and said.

"I'll drive, you shoot."

Baker smiled and said.

"Gladly."

TP got in the car with John, while Baker, Nathaniel and Sorob were in the trunk.

"Hang on!" Said John. Then he swerved the truck around and accelerated down the road. He almost made the guys in the trunk fall off. John laughed.

"I told ya!" He said.

Then three other trucks followed behind him.

"Here they come." Said Nathaniel.

"I got this." Said Baker grabbing the machine gun.

He began firing and, one by one, the trucks spun out and crashed. Nathaniel sat next to the now terrified Sorob and said.

"I bet this is better than some boring old desk job, huh!"

Sorob didn't answer. Then John made a sharp right turn off the road. The truck was now riding on the bumpy grass.

"What the hell you doin' John?" Asked Baker holding on to the machine gun.

Then John abruptly stopped the car.

"And there she is." Said John.

The whole team looked up and saw their plane. A black CASA CN-235, or, what John called, Matilda. Everyone got out of the car and ran to the plane. John quickly opened the door and ran to the cockpit while Nathaniel and TP helped Sorob to his seat. Baker was the last to get on, but before he stepped inside, he heard another group of rebels coming their way.

"Uh...guys." Said Baker. Everyone looked at him and he said. "There coming back."

"I think it's time to get this thing airborne John." Said Nathaniel with a little worry.

"I'm on it." Said John.

He quickly turned on the engine and the plane's propellers started moving. The rebels then began to shoot at the plane.

"John, lets move it along here." Said Nathaniel.

The plane finally started to move. Sorob began to say a prayer in his seat. The engine began to roar.

"Get ready, this may get bumpy!" Said John.

Nathaniel went to the cockpit and said.

"What's wrong, aren't we clear?"

"Not quite, mate." Replied John.

Nathaniel then looked at the machine gun trucks heading for the nose of the plane. Baker came to look and said.

"Damn. Determined little bastards."

"Yea. But now, I'm bringing the big guns." Said John.

Nathaniel and Baker went back to their seats. The sound of bullets hitting the plane caused a silence on the plane. Then John click a few switches and the plane's two machine guns came out.

"Come and get me now!" Screamed John. He fired the guns and wouldn't let go of the trigger. Bullets were sprayed all of the trucks making them burst into flames.

"Woohoo! Yea!" Said John. "They can't handle her!"

Then John lifted the plane in the sky and flew away.

They were now in the clear. Everybody shared a great sigh of relief.

"So much for a fucking stealth mission, huh John?" Said Baker. Everyone laughed, except for Sorob, who was still a little uneasy. The team took off all their weapons and gear and started to relax. Baker went over and sat next to Sorob.

"Hey, buddy." He said. "You can relax now. We ain't gettin' shot at anymore."

Sorob still had a scared look on his face. He then looked over to TP, who was cleaning his blades. This made Sorob even more nervous.

"Careful guys." Said John. "Wouldn't want him to piss his pants."

The team laughed again, and Sorob was still quiet. Then Nathaniel walked over and sat in front of Sorob.

"You know, something has been bothering me though." Said Nathaniel.

"What?" Said Baker leaning back in his seat.

Nathaniel looked at Sorob and said.

"All of your clients are in the Middle East. So what were you doing in Africa?"

"India launched an attack on Nigeria, so they wanted revenge." Said Sorob.

"Reports show that the soldiers who attacked Nigeria weren't Indian soldiers, but an unknown group." Said TP.

"Reports also show that you supplied this group with a lot of weapons." Said Nathaniel. "So the rebels just connected the dots and found your name."

"Look, I don't know who paid you to rescue me, but I know that they don't want you asking questions." Said Sorob.

Everyone was silent. Then, when Nathaniel nodded to Baker, Baker grabbed Sorob, pulled him to his feet, and threw a parachute into his arms.

"Wha...what are you doing?" Asked Sorob.

"You ever been skydiving before?" Asked Baker as he opened the door to the plane.

Wind blew throughout the plane. Baker grabbed Sorob and pulled him to the edge of the door. Sorob screamed.

"Your mad!" He said.

"You got three seconds to tell us who you're working with or we're throwing you back to Africa." Said Nathaniel.

Sorob tried to struggle, but Baker wouldn't let him go.

"One." Said Nathaniel.

Sorob was silent.

"Two!"

Sorob was still silent, but he was now trembling in fear. Nathaniel looked at Sorob and then nodded to Baker. Baker tightened his grip and was about to push.

"Wait!" Screamed Sorob. "They were Indian soldiers, I swear! They weren't wearing their traditional uniforms, but they were Indianan! The man I spook with didn't give me his name, but he had Pakistan army medals! That's all I know!"

Nathaniel smiled. Then Baker threw Sorob back on the plane and closed the door. Sorob fell to the ground.

"So you're saying that Pakistan and India are working together?" Asked Nathaniel.

"Very unlikely." Said TP.

"I swear that's the truth." Said Sorob.

"I believe him." Said Nathaniel.

Then Nathaniel picked up a tranquilizer gun and pointed it to Sorob. Sorob was so scared that he couldn't speak.

"Oh, by the way." Said Nathaniel. "We were 'paid' by the CIA."

Sorob looked surprised.

"Who are you?" He said.

Nathaniel shot the dart at Sorob's chest. Sorob laid down unconscious.

"We're called...team x." Said Nathaniel with a smile.

"Is he knocked out yet!" Asked John.

"Yea, he's out." Said Baker.

"Alright." Said John. "Next stop, the base."

"Wake me when we get there." Said Baker as sat back down.
