Chapter 7

As the furs left their frat house Cymaenie, went one way to his Science class, Jackie and Nikoli, went to their Gym class that Berkeley, Cymaenie, and Douglas were shocked to believe that they still had Gym in college. Lastly the lizard and wolf walked directly a head to their English class.

"Hey Berkeley!"

The lizard comes to an abrupt halt in the middle of the sidewalk, as other furs walked around the stunned him. Berkeley feels sweat starting to soak his lizard scales, his eyes growing wide with fear. His tail wags furiously as he turns to see a very sexy snow leopard coming toward him. Berkeley, gives a huge fake cheesy smile that showed all of his lizard teeth.

The snow leopard stopped just a few inches from Berkeley, "How's it going Berkeley?"

"GOOD...GOES...GOOD...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!" Berkeley screams at the top of his lungs making the snow leopard, her friends, and Douglas jump. It made the passerby furs jump and turn to look at Berkeley, like he just had an meltdown from the bottom up.

Douglas, hurries over to the screaming lizard takes his paw and grabs a fistful of Berkley's nuts. Berkeley, let's out a huge yelp and stops his screaming. "I'm sorry ladies you have to forgive me lizard friend he didn't get a lot of sleep last night." said Douglas in a thick accent.

"It's alright Douglas, you don't have to hide anything from me." said the Snow Leopard.

"Well, thanks Mary, It's good when you can tell some one who you are and how you really feel." said Douglas in his correct voice, "Isn't that right babe?" Douglas gestures over to Berkeley who's mouth was still hanging open in shock.

Berkeley had known the snow leopard, Mary since high school, they were really close. Berkeley was always happy when Mary was around, she always put a smile on his face that he always appreciated. Berkeley always did the same for Mary. Over the years of them being friends, he had developed a growing relationship with Mary. But even when they were friends when Berkeley asked Mary out on a date, the snow leopard recoiled thinking it was Berkeley who wanted to take their friendship to the next level. Berkeley had to then explain to Mary that it wasn't a date it was just going as friends. Ever since then Berkeley has found hard to suck up the courage and once again ask Mary.

Berkeley found Mary so alluring that he just kept on staring at her. The way that the snow leopard's fur was so silky with that it was as pure as the first laden snow in winter. Her black stripes just so in tone with one another that it was like Mary had painted the stripes on just for Berkeley. Her green eyes were so alluring that any fur would probably end up doing back flips for Mary. The lizard was just staring at Mary and her friends in a complete trans, it was then that Mary waved a paw in front of Berkeley's face.

"Berkeley, are you okay, you don't look well?" asked Mary.

Berkeley's tail started wagging rapidly and he started sputtering, "I...I...I...I...I..."

Douglas rolls his eyes at the lizard and then he smiled at Mary, "Let me try babe." Douglas goes up to Berkeley and yanks his tongue right out of the lizard's mouth. Berkeley makes contact with the deep wolf stare. "Now you listen to me, you shape up or the tongue is coming right out. Understand?"

The lizard shakes his head, "Uh-uh."

"Good." Douglas relinquishes his paw from Berkeley's mouth and Berkeley rubs his jaw in pain before turning to Mary. "So...Mary, how was your weekend?"

"It was actually good, we went to see the new movie Transformers."

"Oh you went to see that movie? How was it?" asked the lizard.

"It was good, you'll probably like it!"

"Oh I know I will babe!" giggled Douglas, "Especially since that Shia LeWolf is soooooo hoooooot!"

The other furs turn to face Douglas who turned red with embarrassment, "Sorry finish what you two were talking about."

"Oh my look at the time we all need to be heading to class." said the snow Leopard looking at her watch, "See you later Berkeley, bye Douglas."

The snow leopard with her friends walked away from Douglas and Berkeley. The lizard heaves a huge sigh, then suddenly feels a wolf paw strike him in the back of the head. "Ow," Berkeley starts rubbing the back of his head, "What was that for?"

Douglas puts his arm around the lizard with wry look on his face, "That display of idiocy around Mary. How do you think your ever going to attract her if she doesn't know how you feel about her?"

Berkeley shoves Douglas away, "How do you suppose I'm going to do that! I don't know the first thing about dating!"

"Oh that's easy babe!" said the wolf with a wave of his paw, "You've just gotta be more assertive!"

"Oh well that's easy for you to say," said Berkeley as both Douglas and the lizard commenced their walk to class. "Besides, you don't have a problem picking up some one for a date." Douglas grimaces at the comment, as they continue walking to their class, Berkeley turns to Douglas. "I didn't know you liked Shia LeWolf?"

Douglas does not make eye contact with Berkeley he just continues on walking, "He's got a nice tight ass for a wolf, babe!"

Berkeley shakes his head in agreement, "Tighter then yours?"

The wolf chuckles at the question, "No one's got a tighter ass than me, babe!" Both Berkeley and Douglas laugh at the dirty thought of the tight ass cross their minds. The furs come up to the history building where they have two classes, Mrs. Wingcock's Northern Borders class, and Dr. Wolfington's Sociology Government class.

As both Douglas and Berkeley enter the history building, the lizard leans over to Douglas. "You would know who would have the tight ass huh?"

Berkeley and Douglas walk down the hall to the auditorium room 306 where their Northern Borders class was held. As they approached the room, they found Mrs. Wingcock standing by the door looking intently at both of the furs.

"I trust the both of you have you're papers done?" asked Mrs. Wingcock with her feather arms crossed.

"That we do!" said Berkeley, thumping his lizard chest with pride, "As a matter of fact we have done our papers so perfectly that we won't get a grade below a C."

"Well, let's just hope the both of you are right."

"Hello Mrs. Wingcock." said Douglas who spoke with the thick deep accent, smoothing his fur back in the process.

Mrs. Wingcock, shakily laughs and begins molting, the Toucan feathers fall on the floor in a pile. Both Douglas and Berkeley looked confused, as did many of the other fur students.

"Mrs. Wingcock, are you alright?" asked Berkeley who was staring down at her molten feathers on the ground.

Mrs. Wingcock turned her attention from the wolf back to Berkeley, "Yes I am fine," she looks down at her feathers, "Don't worry about that, that happens all the time!" Mrs. Wingcock barley gives Douglas a wave as she walks down the stairs to the podium. "Hi Douglas."

The wolf slaps Berkeley on the back forcing him to almost fall flat on his face, "Alright buddy let's go find are seats!"

Mrs. Wingcock comes running up the stairs and gets directly in front of the of the furs. "I'm sorry boy's but I can't allow you two to sit together."

"What do you mean?" asked Berkeley

"There have been recent reports that you two have been disrupting this class and it is for your own good that you two sit apart from one another." Mrs. Wingcock points to a chair in the center and another to the left. "Berkeley, I want you to sit in the center and Douglas I want you to sit on the left. Is that understood?"

"Quite clear, miss." said the lizard with a salute.

Mrs. Wingcock, shoots at Douglas who then saluted with his paw as well, "Yes ma'am you have my pledge allegiance to the flag!"

"Good then," sighed Mrs. Wingcock, "I better get to teaching class now."

As Mrs. Wingcock walked to the podium to start off the class both Berkely and Douglas look at each other with a grin on their face.

"So what are you going to do?" asked Douglas.

Berkeley shows a grin across his face, "I'm going to the center as instructed."

"Well then in that case," said the lizard confidently "I'm going to the left of the center."

"Sounds like a plan!"

"That indeed it does!"

Both the lizard and the wolf make there way to their seats only five feat from each other. Mrs. Wingcock didn't seem to notice that they were sitting. Mrs. Wingcock began her speech.

"Welcome class to this wonderful Monday morning. Now as you known you're Northern Borders papers on when the revolt started are due today. Now if you haven't turned in your assignment yet, then you will have to turn it in as a late assignment. But unfortunately you will have to have points deducted. But as long as you get it in you will have nothing to worry about."

Mrs. Wingcock points to a slide on the board "Now as you know for the last twenty years the Northern Border people broke off are treaty of fealty. Their brutish thoughts lead to..."

As Mrs. Wingcock continued to talk the students listened except for two students, the lizard an the wolf who felt out of place in the world.
