This is a little filler thing between parts 1 and 2 of this story, and may or may not be canon. There are two ending options for you to choose from, depending on which one you prefer. I hope you enjoy the story, and continue to enjoy my writing. Please leave comments, as they're always appreciated.

"If there's one, then it's guaranteed that there will be more."

That was the line that had come to Bowser's lips more frequently than anything else since the stuff with Koal, and every time he said it, Nathan felt a little bit worried about his own safety. The Koopa King had been outraged by his betrayal by one of his own, and just the thought of Koal's actions seemed to be enough to send Bowser into a flying rage, ranting and screaming, and even breathing fire at some points. Nothing had happened yet, but the wolf always felt that he was living on borrowed time when the king reached one of his rages.

Even now, with the rage over and Bowser just fuming at the end of it, Nathan was just a little bit nervous sitting by the King's bedside. The wolf sat on the nightstand, his feet dangling over the edge, and the Koopa King lay on his back on his bed, his arms behind his head as he stared up at the burn hole in the fabric above his bed.

Taking a deep breath, Bowser shook his head again. "Koal's dealt with, but there's just too much risk of one of the other officers passing information on to the other armies out there," he said. "I can't afford to stop my plans now. I can't pull back. And I can't even change my plans to counter whatever they know without the new changes being passed on to the enemy." His big yellow fist slammed into the stone wall above the head of the bed. "DAMN IT!" he shouted, the blow sending vibrations and shockwaves rippling through the room.

The vibrations nearly knocked Nathan off of his perch, and he had to scramble backwards rapidly to avoid a fast fall to the ground. He shook for a few seconds after the vibrations stopped, barely holding back a yelp as he got himself under control again.

Bowser looked over at him, sighing. "Sorry. I...There's just nothing I can think of that can stop this before it gets worse."

"Well...why can't you just tell them what happened with Koal, and see if there's anyone else that makes a mistake?" Nathan asked.

The big royal shook his head lightly. "It's not that easy," he said. "Right now, they just know that Koal is missing, and that he was attacking my new slave. If they hear that there was something more than that, then there's more problems than just alerting other spies; the more loyal ones will know that there are other spies, and it's entirely possible that they might change their sides towards my enemies if they think others have done it already."

That much was true, Nathan supposed. It seemed that half of Bowser's officers were with him through fear, the other half through loyalty. With the latter, there was some worry about some turning out of a bit of fear, but not much; with the former, though, their fear would diminish when they found out that others had defied the Koopa King, and some of Bowser's hold over them would be lost.

Nathan didn't know as much about the situation as the King, obviously, but he had figured out over the last day that the Koopa Army had been stretched thin on the borders of the conflict. How thin, he didn't know, but they couldn't afford to lose anyone. Even one officer leading his men off of the line could cause a massive problem for the entire army out there, making a gap in the lines.

But without some means to find out if there were other spies in their midst, the army was in just as much trouble, if not more. Anything discussed by the officers and Bowser in the War Room could be passed along if the officers were spies or traitors, and the stuff that they could pass along would be more damning than anything that Koal might have found out on his own, coming in after the others were out of the room.

It wasn't a sure thing that there were more spies, but the risk was there, and Bowser was pinned between two evils until he could figure out if the officer corps was corrupted or not.

And it was clear that it rankled the Koopa King to think that he couldn't do what he wanted, and that his plans had effectively been stalled by this, no matter how detrimental the stall was. Even now, Nathan could see that the big yellow monarch was getting close to hitting the wall again, and this time he wasn't so sure that he would be able to stay on the nightstand from all the vibrations.

It was the desperation to calm the King down more than anything else that prompted Nathan to say what he did next. "What if there was someone you could trust to watch the officers while you're not in the room?" the wolf asked.

His question came just in time to stop the King's fist from hitting the wall again. Bowser turned to look at him, one brow lifted up. Unable to stop himself, Nathan continued, "You can't say anything to the officers, you said, and you can't stay around to find out if any of them do anything suspicious; they wouldn't do anything around you, right?" Bowser nodded his head. "Right. So...what if you were out of the room, and there was someone that you trusted still in the room?"

Bowser rolled over, leaning on one arm. "Someone like you?"

In his head, Nathan was wondering if this was really worth keeping the King from hitting the wall. But, there was nothing that he could do but continue on. "Well, I am a very small guy right now; there's nothing that says that they would see me under the table, and I could listen to whatever they say, see what they do. If they do something weird, I can let you know later," the wolf said.

Hand under his chin, Bowser seemed to think about it. To Nathan's increasing discomfort, the Koopa King's lips slowly started rising upwards in a grin, and he knew what was coming before it came.

"You know...I think that's the best idea that I've heard all day," the King said. He reached out and put his hand around the micro wolf, pulling him off of the nightstand and dropping him on the bed. "But until tomorrow, I think that you are going to keep relieving my stress the way you're supposed to, as my personal foot slave," he added.

Nathan groaned as he bounced on sheets a few times before Bowser's foot came down over him, the giving, soft sole pressing down on top of him firmly enough to trap him against the sheets. Immediately he was smothered with the musky scent of the King's foot, groaning softly against the powerful smell as it filled his nose, inescapable as the pressure holding him down.

Well, if this was what the King wanted, then the wolf was willing. He blushed as he wrapped his arms around the foot - as much as he could, considering how wide Bowser's feet were in comparison to him - and got to work, licking and nuzzling against the sweaty flesh.

#

Bowser put the plan into action immediately, not even bothering to use the miniature wolf the next morning. A pleasant surprise - Nathan told himself, despite some parts of his body not agreeing to that statement - though still a surprise to the wolf as he woke up to find that he was back in his cage rather than still in the Koopa King's bed. A little sweaty and warm, but no worse for the wear, he found.

The King carried him in a very different place to the war room. Rather than riding on his shoulder or in hand, Bowser had shoved the wolf inside of his shell, and carried him around in there. It was hotter than Nathan had expected inside the shell, and definitely not someplace that he would want to spend a great deal of time if he had the choice, considering how the shell seemed to hold in sweat and moisture better than most clothes, but he had to admit that it was a good hiding place. The trick was holding onto the shell so that he didn't slide down along Bowser's leg; even though the King was a scaly creature, and the yellow pebbly skin of the leg offered plenty of handholds, it was so soaked with sweat and so very slick that it was like stepping on ice, slick and slippery.

He finally figured out a way to hold his footing by bracing his arms against the interior of the shell and digging his toes into the gap between some of the pebbly parts of the King's leg. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough to keep him upright and not constantly scrabbling for a better grip.

As the King walked along, Nathan occupied himself with thoughts about how he could actually help Bowser. It was strange to think about helping the monarch that had him kidnapped off of the road, even if he had treated him...

Well, he couldn't even say decently, what with being shrunken down to his current height and being turned into nothing more than a foot slave. He enjoyed it - he couldn't lie to himself about that - but it was still something that a decent person shouldn't do with another. It would have been better to ask, at least giving Nathan the chance to say no. Even if he probably wouldn't have objected, it still would have been nice to have the choice.

Yet, here he was, agreeing to help Bowser ferret out any other spies that might be around the table in the officer's room. Why?

The only thing that the wolf could come up with was the thought that he was helping keep the peace. It was a flimsy excuse, considering that neither Bowser's badlands up here nor the Mushroom Kingdom in the south were his homeland, but nothing else made any sense. He certainly didn't have any loyalty to Bowser beyond the simple fear of being left this size and crushed; keeping others safe and keeping the Koopa King happy were the only motivations he could possibly fathom having for doing something so ridiculously dangerous.

And it would be dangerous, Nathan had no doubt. The officers that gathered around the strategy table in that room were many and varied, more than a dozen people to keep track of. His size gave him an advantage when it came to not being noticed, but considering how easy it would be for any of them to crush him, it was a double-edged sword. He could easily lose more than his cover under the table, if he wasn't careful, not to mention how another spy would actually treat him. Koal had come close to killing him, and probably would have if Kelt hadn't come around to help him.

Well, he would have to be careful. And he was nothing if not careful.

A sudden stop threw Nathan off balance, and he almost tumbled out of Bowser's shell before getting a tighter grip. His feet kicked at the air a few times before he got them back on Bowser's legs, and he shook his head. If he could have kept his balance with one hand, he would have wiped his forehead in relief, but for the moment, Nathan satisfied himself with a shake of his head. Fighting the temptation to give the Koopa King's leg a good kick, he waited to see what would happen next.

Large yellow fingers appeared in the gap between the shell and the King's leg. Recognizing what his master wanted, Nathan let go of the shell and let himself drop. It was like sliding on the fastest slide in existence before landing on top of the King's fingers, and the wolf grabbed hold of them tight, more than a little fear in his mind as the fingers pulled him up to Bowser's face level.

They were already in the war room, Nathan realized; the table was right behind him, and nobody else had arrived yet. Over Bowser's shoulder, he could see the empty corridor that led down to this room, uninhabited for the moment, but not for long, most likely.

Bowser pulled his other hand up, a miniature mushroom forming in it. "Here," the King said, pressing it against Nathan's lips.

The wolf ate it quickly, taking massive bites before swallowing it down. It still wasn't a good flavor, he thought to himself, but as he felt the vitality from the strange food fill his body, he was thankful for it nonetheless. Considering the risk that he was taking here, he wanted anything that would give him a chance to live for a bit longer if he was stepped on. He was just glad that his master was good enough to remember that he would need something like this; it would have been hard to ask the Koopa King for it.

Bowser lowered him to the floor, and when the big yellow fingers were just a few inches off of the ground, Nathan jumped off. The ground was as hot as usual, particularly without a carpet to soak up some of the heat before it could touch one's feet, and Nathan couldn't quite keep himself from hopping foot to foot on the hot stones. "So...how long until the other officers get here?" the wolf asked.

"Not long now," Bowser said. He looked back at the hall. "Maybe a few minutes. I'd find a hiding place, and make sure that nobody can see you from it while they get in here. After they're around the table, you shouldn't have much trouble moving around, but make sure that you stay careful. If you get found, then you're on your own; I can't come running back here if you get caught. You'll have to survive until later, when I am supposed to come back," the King warned him.

He'd expected that, more or less. With all the plans Bowser had, and the way that the King was so suspicious of his officers now, he couldn't afford to give anything away, not his suspicions, not the truth about Koal, and most definitely not any weaknesses that might be used against him. Nathan knew that it might just be his ego flattering him, but it was possible that he was turning into one of Bowser's weaknesses. Not likely, he knew, but as a possession, the wolf thought that he was becoming a little more valuable than some things that the King had to his name, and if someone in the officer corp thought that they could ransom him to the Koopa King...well, maybe they would be right. He was pretty good at his job, and maybe he wasn't entirely delusional when he thought that Bowser was getting a little attached to him.

But that was something for another time. He nodded his understanding to the King and made his way under the table, hurriedly hopping from stone to stone and standing in one place no longer than necessary. His feet were already starting to sweat against the hot stones, and he groaned softly as they got hotter and hotter. It wasn't quite so bad as the metal drawbridge leading into the castle, but it definitely wasn't very good, either. His teeth gritted as he tried to run a bit faster, pushing himself harder.

Finally he reached the carpet that covered the ground under the table. It wasn't much, but to his overheated toes and soles, it was massively better than the stones around the table. Sighing in relief, the wolf looked back at the King. "How long does it take people to get used to the heat around here?" he asked.

"It depends," the King said with a shrug. "You should be used to it in a week, though; it never takes longer than that."

"A week...great," Nathan muttered under his breath. This was going to be a 'fun' week, indeed.

But he shook that thought free as he walked behind one of the legs of the table, ducking under a bulge along the artistically carved table legs. As long as he stayed here, the wolf thought, he should be able to see anything he needed to, and make sure that he wasn't seen.

It wasn't more than a minute or two after he found his hiding place that he heard the approaching footsteps Bowser had warned him about. Nathan peeked out around his table leg, watching the officers file into the room from the hallway. There were at least four different Koopas, a Parakoopa, and a goodly number of Goombas coming through the door, and each of them kicked off their shoes at the door.

Unable to help himself, the mini-wolf watched their feet as they walked around the table, slowly taking their places at different points around the map. Some of them stayed near Bowser, mostly the Koopas, but most of them stood closer to his side of the table. Probably lower ranking, he thought as he watched yellow and brown feet lift and fall along the carpet and the stone floors.

Each foot was just a bit different from the others, but they all shared similarities with their own kind. The Koopas were all three toed, with short toes and semi-circular feet, rounder than the average pair of feet from where Nathan had come from. They were almost fat, he supposed, thicker than his paws or some of the others that he had seen back home, though a bit shorter than others that he had seen. The yellow skin was less pebbly on the top than Bowser's were, he noticed, and they were all shiny, as though they had been rubbed down with oil or had been completely covered in sweat from something.

The Goombas, on the other hands, were quite different. The feet were still kind of fleshy looking, but they were flatter than the Koopa feet. Still a bit bigger than the kinds of feet he had seen back at home, but a little more 'normal' than the rounder and thicker feet belonging to the Koopas. They were four toed, and their toes were a bit longer, poking further out from their feet than the Koopas toes did. The wolf found himself wondering what it would be like to lay under one of those brown feet, feeling the toes drum along his face, chest, groin, legs...

He slapped himself on the back of the head, stifling a groan as he dismissed the thoughts. Nathan could already feel himself reacting, but he tried to not think of the sudden hardness that was building at his groin. After all, he had a job to do, and he couldn't do it if he was thinking of...that...all the time.

Still, it was a hell of a task to keep his eyes on the various officers without sneaking peeks at their feet every now and again. The Goomba feet got particular interest from him, but mostly because they were all so new. They were longer - in proportion at least - than the Koopa feet, and seemed a bit less circular shaped in comparison to the Koopas as well. They let out a bit more of a 'flop' than a 'thud' when they hit the ground, too, and Nathan could see hints of an arch under them as well, rather than the flatter look that he expected from the peculiar way that they waddle-walked everywhere.

"Things are getting a little ridiculous here, Your Majesty."

The sound of one of the officers speaking broke Nathan out of his thoughts about the officers feet, and he perked up his ears as he listened.

"There's only so much we have that we can do. Either we continue to hold this line around the edges of Mushroom Kingdom until they make a run on our lines, or we make an attack of our own. And if it's all the same to you, I want to make an attack." Nathan heard one of the officers poke the table with a finger. "Right now, if we wait, they're going to be able to put together a force that our lines aren't going to be able to repel. We're stretched too thin; if you have a plan, Your Majesty, tell us. Right now, I can't see how this is doing anything aside from making us look like cowards for not striking already."

"If you think that, then why don't you get your small minded thinking out of my command room?" Bowser said. The table visibly strained as the King put his hands down on it, and Nathan winced as he saw cracks previously invisible start to stretch from the pressure that Bowser was putting on it. "You've listened to me so far. There's a reason I'm holding back on the attacks. I want the Mushroom Kingdom to wonder where we're coming from, where they're going to need to defend against our forces. For now, keep cycling our forces around between the different camps, keep them guessing just where all our forces are concentrated."

General muttering broke out between the different officers, and Nathan shifted his eyes from the table to the arms and bodies of the other people at the table. He didn't have any sort of expertise in picking out people that were traitors or anything, but the wolf knew the basic signs of anger; if he could spot people that were more angry than others at the way that Bowser was conducting the war, or maybe some sign of absolutely no anger, someone who was confident and happy with the holding strategy, then he would at least have some leads.

But to his annoyance, there was just about nothing to see. There were no clenched fists under the table, no sudden tensing of muscles or anything along those lines. All that Nathan could see were the typical signs of acceptance, and if not loyalty, than still obedience.

If there was a traitor amongst the group, they knew better than to show anything while Bowser was still around, that was for sure.

Even with the momentary disappointment, though, Nathan smiled. They had already discussed what to do if something like that happened.

Right on cue, the door to the room opened, one of the Goomba staff in the castle stepping inside. "Your Majesty, there is an emergency communication coming from the front at Car Land," the Goomba said. "Your presence is needed at once."

Bowser nodded, and the Goomba bowed before leaving. Nathan could imagine the look on the King's face; probably a little annoyed, but with a little smirk probably hidden with self control as he spoke. "Looks like I'll be absent for some time. See if you can surprise me with something when I get back."

In a burst of fire and shadow, the Koopa King disappeared, leaving the room occupied only by the other officers. Nathan took a deep breath - ignoring the musky smell of sweaty feet as best he could, considering he was surrounded by quite a few pairs of them - and started looking around, knowing that the real part of his job started now.

The various officers started to mill around the table, and Nathan caught little snippets of the conversation between them. Most of them were complaining about the plan, but none of them sounded like they were particularly opposed to it. They just felt that it was too slow.

There were a few people that were different, though, and one of them sounded like he was defending the plan a little more than needed. When that voice started insisting that the King was completely right to wait, that the strategy was best left unchanged, Nathan started to turn his attention a little more towards that guy. He was being a little TOO supportive for the wolf's taste. Sneaking over to the leg of the table closest to the Goomba officer in question, Nathan looked up, wanting to memorize the Goomba's looks, just in case he needed to describe him later.

Several medals were pinned on the Goomba's chest, one that was in the shape of a star and another in the shape of a fire. Neither meant anything to the wolf, but it was apparently some measure of the Goomba's authority, because about half of the group deferred to him automatically, like he was a higher rank than them. He had a slight scar over one eye, but other than that, he was smooth. Unnaturally smooth in a lot of ways. There were no eyelashes or other sort of hair along the Goomba's body, and his brown coloring was just the color of his flesh, not any sort of fuzz or fur or anything else that slightly changed the color of the other Goombas in the room.

And despite himself, the wolf found himself looking down at the Goomba's feet as well, unable to look away as this officer walked around. Each step gave him a clear view of the sweaty brown skin, a few little droplets here and there that were either soaked up by the carpet or refreshed by the hot stone, the smooth skin almost wrinkle free except for a bit around the soles and near the arch and bridge of the foot when the toes curled.

"I tell you, there is no reason to change the plan as it is," the Goomba officer said, actually stomping his foot for emphasis. "King Bowser has put together a solid plan that will keep the Mushroom Kingdom in place while we develop our next move. There is no reason to hurry this along or change it to a spearhead attack."

"Colonel Guem," a Koopa with a few more medals said, "no matter how much our line threatens the Kingdom - and i can't say that it does, with how spread out we are - there is nothing to be gained by simply holding the line. If there's going to be any change, any victory, we need to actually take a few steps forward, take some land under our banners. If we don't -"

"If we don't, then it's because Bowser said that we shouldn't," Guem said. The Goomba colonel stared down some of the others, and held the glares of those that were more stubborn. "If Bowser is having us hold back, then he must have a good reason. And all of us are going to follow his orders to do nothing but cycle our forces between the different camps. At least, everyone under my command is."

Everything that the Goomba said made some sense, Nathan admitted, but there was something odd about it at the same time. He was the only one not the least bit upset about Bowser's plan, as though he wanted to keep from fighting. It was almost like he wanted to prolong the chance for problems as long as possible. Either he was a pacifist, a completely blind colonel, or...

Or he was a traitor, and he wanted to give people on the other side time to do something.

None of the options were good ones, let alone the last one, but Nathan had to believe that one of them were true. Nothing else made sense, and he couldn't think of any reason a blindly loyal officer would be a good thing. This Guem bore watching, he thought to himself.

The arguments continued for a bit longer before they moved back to the table, stepping to different points around it to start talking strategy. Nathan watched them approach from his spot at the table leg, and wondered if he could learn anything else from their strategies.

However, he made the mistake of taking his eyes off of some of the officers, and he was taken off guard by a pair of toes that shoved him from the back, sending him flying off of his feet and landing face first in the carpet. He grunted softly as he hit it, and started rolling on instinct away from the edge of the table.

It turned out to be a good thing that he did, because as soon as he stopped rolling, he saw the brown Goomba toes that had brushed him dancing along on the floor. The foot they were attached to pushed out, as if feeling around for something along the floor.

"Something wrong, Colonel?" one of the other officers said above the table.

"Hmmm...I guess not," Guem said. The feet pulled back to their spot at the edge of the table, the Goomba's body going through a shrugging motion. "I guess I just thought I felt something down there."

"Your imagination, I suppose, Colonel," one of the Koopas said. "I mean, the bugs don't grow that big up here, you know."

Nathan held still for a few minutes, and only started moving again when he was sure that the other officers weren't going to peer under the table. He held onto the sigh of relief he wanted to let out, though, knowing that any sort of sound at this point would only let them know that he was here. At least, it might let Guem know, and that would be bad enough. If the colonel was a traitor, he'd be on his guard, and if he wasn't, then...well, Nathan supposed it might not be too bad, but he didn't want to test it.

Moving around to one of the other table legs that didn't have pairs of bare feet so close to it, he settled himself against the wood, and perked up his ears to listen to the conversation above. If nothing else, he might learn a little more about the situation here. Any information would be more than what he currently had, at any rate, and he wanted to be of as much help to Bowser as he could. Purely for his own survival and self interest, of course, he told himself.

However, there was only so much that he could pick up from them. They were talking about this and that place, locations that he knew nothing about, but referring to them without giving the details he needed. Army units, Koopa numbers, and all sorts of other military speak about the positioning of the forces were bandied about this way and that, and it was no more than nonsense to the wolf. He just didn't have the required details to fill in the blanks.

So, naturally, his growing boredom sought an outlet, and there was only one place for his mind to go. Namely, the bare feet that surrounded him on all sides, and the musk that rose off of all of them.

The musk itself was immensely powerful, and Nathan groaned softly into his hand as he realized just how saturated the air had become with the smell of sweaty, musky feet. Each pair of feet smelled just a bit different, but the smell was overwhelmingly that of male foot that had been restrained for too long in a heated environment. It verged on the offensive, even, but even as a slave, Nathan couldn't bring himself to say that the smell was a bad one, just a very strong one...and one that was having more of an effect on him than he really wanted to admit.

Looking down at his naked crotch, he glared at the erection that was lifting up, making itself more obvious. "You just can't stay down, can you?" he muttered at his cock, shaking his head a few times, resisting the urge to wrap his hands around it as he looked at the feet again.

They were just too good to look at for him to ignore. From the brown feet of the Goombas, longer toes wiggling in the carpet in boredom and showing off the little spaces between the toes, to the fatter yellow feet of the Koopas with the short, squat three toes that were tipped with blunt claws, they were just utterly sexy to look at. Each one of them had a shimmer and shine, showing just how sweaty that they had become over the long day, restricted in - Nathan imagined - tight shoes that didn't breathe very well, and held in the heat almost oppressively.

A small part of the wolf wondered what it would be like, stuck in those shoes under those big feet, forced to breathe in the smell and musk coming off of them, getting wet from their sweat as they walked around for a longer and longer amount of time. Just the time that he had spent with Bowser had been amazing enough, even if Nathan had been utterly freaked out about being under the King's feet half the time, afraid of being squished or killed. Besides that, though, being under Bowser's big fleshy sweaty feet had been one of the most amazing experiences of his life, and one that he would happily repeat.

Being under the feet of some of the officers would probably be almost as good, if not better; there wasn't quite so much threat of death, due to their - relatively - smaller size and weight in comparison to him. Heck, some of the Goombas had feet that were barely bigger than he was. They weren't quite the ones that he was interested in, but it was an encouraging sight, and one that tempted him.

Despite the temptations from the various Goombas and Koopas, though, Nathan kept turning his eyes towards Guem's feet.

He wasn't really sure why that pair held such fascination with him. Maybe it was because Guem had a potential to be a traitor, and the exoticness of his feet went up from it; maybe it was because the Goomba was so strangely smooth, and thus shinier than the other Goombas, showing his sweat and musk. Or maybe it was the close call that Nathan had had, almost knocked over and covered by the Goomba's foot just a few minutes ago. Any of them could have been the truth, but they all boiled down to the same thing. He wanted to play with that pair of feet.

His eyes picked up every detail of their appearance. The four toes danced repeatedly, lifting and drumming down on the carpet, then curling to rub against the soft, plush surface. It was surprisingly sexy to watch the toes dancing around, and the wolf shivered as he imagined being trapped underneath the toes, feeling them drum along his body rather than against the carpet. The throb of pleasure it sent to his cock was amazingly powerful, and it took everything he had to avoid reaching down and stroking himself.

As the conversation continued above, Nathan slowly pulled himself to his feet and started making his way across the carpet. He took his time, moving slowly and keeping an eye out for any of the officers moving away from the table, wary of anything that would give someone a chance to see him. It was not often that any of the assembled soldiers moved, but none of them ever moved more than a little bit, just enough to reach over the table and adjust this or that figure, shifting something around as they explained different ideas and battle plans.

Nathan ignored whatever they were saying, and before long, he stopped paying attention to the movements of their legs, the warning signs of them moving around. It didn't matter so much now, now that he was past the halfway point of the underside of the table, and besides, the Goomba's dancing toes were almost entrancing to look at, to the point that Nathan almost didn't want to look away.

He stopped only a few paces - for him - away from Guem's feet. The smell from them was nearly enough to knock him off his feet, a little moan slipping from his lips again before he could stop or muffle it. The wolf looked up, afraid that it might have been heard, but instead it seemed that it had been lost in the shuffle of sound from the strategy debates above. He was safe, for a bit longer at least.

Holding onto a little bit of common sense, Nathan kept his distance from the pair of feet, not stepping further back by any means, but not stepping any closer just yet either. He wandered around the toes, looking at them from the front, from the side. The wolf even bent down, laying on his side as the toes danced to get a good look at the underside, as well, something that he had been too busy moving away from to get the first time. The skin was slick, no matter how long it had touched the carpet, and there was something about the difference in color from the yellow feet that he had seen so far that made him tremble in arousal, feeling his shaft throbbing against his stomach, just looking at the foot. A small part of him told him that he was pushing his luck, that this was not a good idea to be so close to the more slender, brown foot, but he ignored it, just staring at the foot.

Perhaps it was just fate that the Goomba decided he needed to shift his footing at that time; perhaps Nathan hadn't been quite so sneaky as the wolf thought that he'd been. Either way, it had the same result as Guem took a few steps, shifting one foot in one direction, and the other foot in the wolf's direction.

Only able to watch as the massive brown sole descended upon him, Nathan barely had the chance to gulp as the soft flesh pressed down on him from above. He winced as the pressure increased on top of him, the foot moving almost in slow motion to his view as the Goomba Colonel started putting his weight down on top of Nathan's body.

The pressure was immense, he thought to himself, his face trapped between the two middle toes as Guem started pushing down, the step slowly completing itself. The heel pressed against the ground first, cutting off any chance of wriggling towards the end of the table, and the center of the foot followed shortly after, pinning him by his feet. The pressure coming down on them should have done some serious damage, he felt, but thankfully the mushroom was still in effect, keeping him from feeling anything but the pressure coming down on him from above. He whispered thanks for that, even as the feeling of immense weight continued up his body, moving up his legs and over his crotch, drawing a blush from Nathan's face as his bulge was trapped between his crotch and the massive brown foot above him.

It continued up his body, moving rapidly along his furry frame. He was unable to even squirm out of the way with the way that his lower body was pinned in place, and as the breath was squeezed from his body, he wasn't even able to groan in mixed pleasure and discomfort as his body was squeezed almost to the point of being a pancake between the foot and the carpet beneath. The slight mercy of being on the carpet instead of the hot stone was that his body had a little room to sink down from the pressure, but then again, the foot had the same amount of room to sink down, so that was a slight mercy at best.

Finally, the toes came down around each side of his face, the two middle toes keeping him down, and almost shoving his nose right against the moist flesh between the toes. The wolf shuddered as his sensitive nose was overwhelmed with the scent of the musky flesh, groaning softly as he was forced to breathe in the heady scent of the male's sweaty foot. It was a very strong smell, not quite the strength of the Koopa King but definitely not all that far off. He shuddered again as the foot ground against him, almost like the Goomba was teasing him. But that was impossible; there was no way that Guem could have even seen him down here, let alone known that he was that close to his foot at the time, Nathan was sure of that much.

The toes drummed around his head, thud thud, thud thud, hitting the carpet around him two by two. The slight vibrations were dulled by the carpet, but not eliminated, not for something of his size. He could feel it all too easily, and he shuddered, his tongue sticking out on its own, unable to keep from panting a bit at the heat of the foot surrounding him and the sweaty musk that filled his nose, the deepest part of him wanting to taste the source of the musk.

Before he could stop himself, he dragged his tongue along the sweaty skin between the Goomba's toes, shuddering even as he did it. The taste sent a pulse of pleasure through his body, his tongue covered with the salty flavor of sweat, of musk, of the simple but strong flavor of a male's foot. Nathan felt another groan leave his mouth before he started licking harder, faster, unable to quite stop himself, despite knowing how it was giving himself away.

He kept licking and licking, even as the rest of the foot stopped rubbing along his body. Nathan could feel the sudden tension in the foot, contrasting harshly with the relaxed foot muscles that had been pressing against him just a second before. There was no doubt that Guem had to know that there was something under his foot, but the question was, did he know just what he had caught?

As the conversations continued unabated above, Nathan watched as his captor slowly turned his domed head to look down around the side of the table. The wolf blushed softly as the Goomba stared at him for a few seconds, seeing the flash of recognition as it filled Guem's eyes, and noticing the mischievous smile that came with it. Nathan gulped. This could either be very good, or very bad.

Even as he stared upwards, Nathan could feel the pressure of the colonel's foot coming off of his chest. It slowly raised up, moving off of him and giving him the space to breathe a little bit easier. Humiliatingly, Nathan had to fight the temptation to reach up and pull the foot back down, but he managed to resist the temptation. With a soft grunt, he started pulling himself to his feet -

Only to be knocked over again when the foot came back down without warning. It was only because of the mushroom that Bowser had fed him that he was able to keep conscious as it slammed into his head, knocking him back down to the carpet again. He grunted as he slammed into the red carpet, but wasn't able to get up before the foot came down on him again, three of the toes pinning him down by pressing against his back.

The fourth, biggest one pressed against his head, rubbing along the back of it almost like it was petting him. Despite the situation, Nathan couldn't help letting out a bit of a playful grown at the rubbing along the back of his head, the instincts of his species too deep in him to deny from the little touch.

That didn't mean that he was enjoying being held face first against the floor, particularly as it was making it hard to breathe in a situation that was most definitely not fun. He grunted, squirming against the toes, trying to fight against it. It was one thing to have his air taken away by a very sexy foot, held under it with the pressure making it a little bit hard to breathe; it was another thing entirely to be held down against the carpet when the strands of it were easily visible, and he couldn't pull any air through his mouth or nose because of being held so tight against it.

Petting him for almost half a minute, the toes finally flipped him over. Nathan had just enough time to get a fresh breath of air before the foot came down again, pushing him against the ground and grinding him against the carpet. His fur was thick enough to keep him from getting any sort of rug burn, and the foot was rubbing him across it slow enough that it wouldn't have been that much of a concern anyway, but the friction was definitely enough for him to feel. His body started heating up as the foot dragged him this way and that across the carpet, keeping a massive amount of pressure on him, mostly centered around his stomach and his chest, pressing him deep into the carpet even as it pulled him around on it.

Nathan could only pull in slight gasps of air when the foot lifted up for a split second, and even that was tainted with the smell of the big brown foot over him. The toes rubbed along his face and his chest, rubbing his fur and soaking it with the Goomba's foot sweat. It was like the colonel was using him to clean his feet, not something that would surprise him considering the way that the colonel had recognized him. Perhaps Guem wasn't a traitor, not trying to get revenge on the Koopa King. Maybe he just thought that Nathan was something of a communal toy, something that could be shared among the officers when Bowser wasn't using him.

That was the thing that the wolf told himself, at least; he was getting dizzy as he was dragged this way and that across the carpet, which was starting to feel like an oversized welcome mat in front of a door to him. His head hung to the side as his sense of direction was thrown right out the window, unable to do anything but be dragged along by the brown foot holding him down.

"Colonel Guem? Colonel Guem?"

Coming to a stop with a suddenness that shocked him, Nathan felt like he was still rolling for almost a full three seconds. The foot came off of his stomach, but only to adjust itself, pinning him down just the way that he had been when the Goomba had first caught him. Forced to look up, he tried to focus himself on the conversation that had forced the colonel to stop dragging him around.

"Sorry, what, General?" Guem asked, his foot pressing down just a bit harder, pushing the air out of Nathan's lungs for a moment before easing back, forcing the wolf's nose right up between his toes. Even if Nathan wanted to speak, he not only didn't have enough air to, but his nose and mouth were forced firmly against the Goomba's foot, more or less sealing his mouth shut.

"I was asking if you have your forces at the Bob-Bomb Factory or not. The project there needs to be safeguarded until it's fully operational," the Koopa across the table repeated. "Now, have you assigned your forces there, or are they still in transit?"

"That was your suggestion to Bowser, General, not his orders to me," Guem said with a shake of his head. "They are still on the border with Aqua Land right now, and they're going to stay there until Bowser tells me that they need to be moved. I am sticking with the plan that our king gave us right at the start. You might want to do the same, unless you want him to think that you know how to deal with the Mushroom Kingdom better than he does."

The table went silent, and Nathan could only imagine the looks that the colonel was getting for his comment. For his part, Nathan wasn't sure what to think; maybe the general was a traitor, for trying to pull forces away from the front, or maybe he was the one that was honest, wanting to protect a project that Bowser was too busy to directly oversee. Same for Guem; maybe he was the honest one for wanting to follow the plan, or maybe he was lying. The wolf just didn't know, and he was starting to regret ever making Bowser the offer to watch over the different people in here.

One of the other officers, another barefoot Goomba, brought up another aspect of the war, and suddenly the conversation was focused on him. Guem was silent for a minute or two, but his foot was far from still, sliding in back and forth twisting motions, grinding against the wolf underneath.

Nathan could barely breathe under the foot's motions, each one shoving the air from his lungs as it pressed down on him, only to give him the slightest gap in time for him to get a little more oxygen in his lungs before it pushed them back out again. It was like he was being in a vise that went up and down, each time going up just a bit less before coming down just a bit more, gradually grinding him into the carpet.

And then, just loud enough for the sound to carry down to his micro body, the Goomba started talking. "I didn't think that the King would leave a little bug like you behind in the room," Guem said, his foot lifting up. It was only an inch or two, but it was enough for Nathan to finally catch his breath in a more full way, allowing his lungs to fully expand rather than just deal with the little bit of air he was able to sneak into them in the space of a split second.

That air was shoved right back out when the foot stomped down on him. Hard. The mushroom, once more, was enough to keep him from feeling the pain from it, and enough to keep anything from being damaged, but the pressure shoved all of the air from his lungs, and he was sure that his body was starting to get flat from the repeated applications of pressure from that long brown foot.

The toes were far above his head, and he was smashed right against the bridge of the Goomba's foot. Thankfully his face was turned to the side, so it didn't feel like his muzzle was being driven into the back of his head. It made him groan loudly, gasping at the forcefulness of the stomp. His body strained to keep from collapsing against it, yet the feeling of the foot pressed so hard against him, of being smothered in the musky, wet foot flesh, of having his crotch and his body in general being mashed against it...he couldn't help but be fully erect.

The foot lifted up again, stomping down two more times, wham, wham! Each one felt like it was making a hole in the carpet, and his body was filling it up. Each stomp came down, just in time to stifle the groan he wanted to let out. On the second one, the foot had moved enough for him to be able to look up, enough for him to hear Guem talking. The colonel spoke quietly, enough for him to hear, but not enough for the other generals and officers to hear him, and for good reason, as Nathan was figuring out rapidly.

"Such a good little bug under my foot," Guem said with a chuckle, shaking his head a few times, minutely, not enough to be seen unless someone was watching for it. "Why is the King letting you run around the castle without someone to keep track of you? Someone would smash you, step on you like the little bug you are...why, if you weren't already under the influence of one of those mushrooms that the King feeds his servants, I imagine that you would be just one more little stain on the carpet down there."

One more? Nathan wasn't sure that he liked the sound of that at all, but there was little he could do about it. The Goomba could be lying, he supposed, but the carpet was red, and if there had been other little bugs or foot slaves like him smashed into the carpet, then it wouldn't really show, not in this color. He groaned as the foot lifted up slightly, not off of him, but enough to relieve a little bit of the pressure that was holding him down.

"It's a pity that you were claimed by the King already," Guem continued. "I wouldn't have minded a little guy like you running around under my feet. Course, you would have had to deal with the fact that I can't make mushrooms like the King can, but considering how much you love my feet, I don't think that you would be the sort to really care about that very much." The Goomba pressed down again, putting all of his weight on his toes and the bridge of his foot, enough to make Nathan feel like his chest was trying to collapse into his spine. "Heh, don't think that I can't feel that little cock bump; I know what you're thinking down there.

"You're thinking that you love being a good little bug...nothing more than a little insect under the big feet of the King and his officers," Guem whispered, dragging a toe along Nathan's face even as he whimpered softly at the smell, at the smooth touch of the Goomba's feet, not to mention the way that he was so right about this. "Heh...The King doesn't even know how much of a slut you are for this, does he?"

"N-n-no," the wolf muttered, not entirely sure if he was denying that he was a slut when it came to feet, or if the King knew about it. All he knew was that his body was enjoying the smooth feel of the Goomba's foot rubbing over his body, and the smell that filled his nose, even if he was a little worried about what Guem actually had planned with keeping him down like this.

"Heh, no surprise there," Guem whispered. "A little bug like you would never actually admit that you liked this, would you? You'd never tell anyone out loud just how much your body loves being stuck under bigger feet, pinned down and walked on like the good little foot slave you are."

The Goomba emphasized his statement by pressing down hard with his foot again. The toes squeezed at the sides of Nathan's head, and the wolf groaned softly as he felt like he was being pinched a bit like a grape between two fingers, squeezed and squeezed, tighter and tighter until it felt like his head was going to pop, the pressure on his chest as the colonel pushed down on him harder making it ever more difficult to pull air into his lungs.

But the colonel was keeping it just on the tolerable side. Whether that was because of the mushroom taking away the pain of it or the colonel being skilled enough to know how far to push and how to take it easy, Nathan didn't know, but it was clear that Guem had done something like this before.

The toes released his head after a few seconds, and he gasped as his head felt like it was re-inflating, the stress from around his ears and jaws released, giving him some relief.

Guem was silent towards him again, only paying attention to the table. Nathan could only watch as the Goomba pulled something out from behind his back, and the wolf groaned as he watched the Goomba start writing out something on a pad of paper. Notes at a meeting like this? And writing underneath the table, something only one of the Goombas could get away with because of their height?

Nathan shook his head. His suspicions about Colonel Guem seemed to be right; the Goomba had to be a spy if he was behaving like this, had to be. There was no other reason to be hiding notes that he was taking, not at something like this with the other officers around him discussing strategy.

He started to suck in a little breath to shout a warning to the other officers, but before he could get enough air in his lungs, Guem's foot came down hard again, shoving all the air out of his chest and crushing him against the carpet again. He gasped and groaned as he shouted silently, his lips moving but no sound coming out, no air there to actually let him give voice to what he was seeing.

Guem gave him a smirk before going back to his notes, writing down...something, Nathan couldn't see what. But the wolf knew that it was something that was dangerous to the Koopa King's plans. It would endanger his plot, and from what little Nathan understood about the whole thing, it would mean that there would be greater danger for the rest of the army, and Mushroom Kingdom in general, if the plans were passed around.

And no matter how confused he was about how he felt about the Koopa King, the wolf was sure about one thing. He wasn't going to let other people that didn't deserve it get hurt if he could possibly stop it.

With a small grunt, he shifted his head around towards one of the long toes at the side of his face. It was thinner than a Koopa toe, and that was one thing that he was thankful for; if it had been as fat as a Koopa's yellow toe, this would never have worked. It still might not, but it was the only thing that stood a chance of letting him get up and move around. Hopefully, Guem would react the way that Nathan expected him to, rather than just stomping down hard and pinning him to the ground more.

Taking a deep breath through his mouth rather than his nose, Nathan opened his jaws as wide as he could, and then bit down on the toe as hard as he could.

He felt his teeth sink through the toe flesh immediately, and felt like his head was going to be ripped right off of his shoulders as Guem yanked his foot back. Just as he had hoped, the pressure was off of his chest, and he was free to move around again. Releasing his teeth from the Goomba's toes as soon as it was off of him and before he could be yanked in the air, Nathan ran across the floor beneath the table. He could hear Guem jumping up and down on the other side of the table, and could see that the Goomba was not happy with him at all, stomping his foot against the ground and then rubbing it against the stone lightly.

As Nathan ducked behind one of the other table legs, the Goomba colonel glared at him, and the other officers stared at their comrade. "What in the world are you doing, Guem?" one of the other Goombas asked.

Guem looked up again, and shook his head lightly. "Sorry, just got bitten by some really big bug or something," the Goomba said, shaking his head a few times. "Must have run off after giving me that bite; gonna have to find it and stomp it out later for that."

The wolf gulped at the thought of that; he didn't know how much longer this mushroom was going to last, and if this meeting went on for too much longer, there was every chance that he might be caught by the colonel and crushed before he could relay the information he learned to Bowser.

And the meeting went on, and on, and on, and with every minute that passed, Nathan found himself more conscious than ever of the feet that were around him. Guem couldn't bend over and look for him under the table, but the Goomba colonel was walking around the table more often now, and Nathan had to keep moving from one part of the table to another to avoid those feet. If the colonel managed to trap him under those feet, he was done for. There was no if, ands, or buts about it; if the colonel found him again, he would become yet another stain under the carpets here.

Now that he was moving more often, though, the other feet became obstacles for him, presenting new challenges as he tried to avoid the Goomba's feet. It took too long to run across the center of the table and avoid the feet completely, so he had head to move around the rim, and that meant running around or over the different pairs of feet. Every time that Nathan stepped near them, he found himself wanting to take a little time to stick around and appreciate them, and every time he had to force himself to keep moving so that he didn't get himself caught.

That wasn't to say that he didn't have problems, though; every now and then, he had to turn around and keep an eye on Guem's feet again, and when that happened, he often had problems. One time, he tripped over the middle toe of one of the Koopa's feet under the table, and he just managed to roll out of the way before he could be caught or trapped under those yellow toes. His body trembled with the desire to give it a shot, but he made himself keep moving anyway.

Another time, he ran right over one of the other Goomba feet. For a moment, as he was brushed off of the top of the foot and momentarily pinned under another sweaty brown foot, he was sure that Guem had caught him. Thankfully, looking up confirmed that it was just another Goomba, a captain from what he could see, but it was still something that he had to wriggle out of. The sweat helped, and with his fur so slick, he was able to pull himself out from under the foot with little trouble.

Still another time, Nathan ran right into the underside of one foot as it was lifted up, and was pinned under it as the foot came back down. Musky yellow flesh swallowed him up, and he groaned loudly as he was stuck. His entire body was covered by the bottom of the foot, and the yellow flesh had his nose pressed right against it. Completely covered like this, the air - what little he got - was humid and hot, and he groaned softly as it felt like he was drinking his oxygen rather than breathing it in.

The Koopa didn't even seem to notice that he was down there, though; even when Nathan flailed and squirmed as much as he could against the underside of the foot, the Koopa didn't even register that he was there. All that the Koopa did was shift his weight a bit - at least, Nathan guessed that was what he was doing - and pin him down a bit harder. It felt like all of the Koopa's weight was coming down on him, keeping him stuck under the foot.

Admittedly, this wasn't entirely a bad thing. Under a foot like this, there was no way that Guem could find him, no way that the colonel could trap him as well and then crush the life out of him. That was good, very good, but there was the problem that went with being stuck under another officer's foot. If he was here for too long, even if the Koopa didn't seem to know that he was here now, he would eventually be found, and his cover would be blown. He wouldn't be able to do anything else to help the Koopa King in this room, and there was something about that thought that made him squirm harder to try and get free before he was found.

It didn't work, of course; the foot pressed down too hard on him for him to be able to get free, even with all the sweat and musk that came off of it, soaking his fur with the smell and the moisture. The best he could do was wiggle his fingers and keep breathing, and the latter was pretty hard to do when he was stuck under so much weight, his chest pressed somewhat flat under the foot, his lungs having a hard time expanding to allow the air in. They did contract easily enough when he breathed out, though; the foot was good enough to help him with that.

Under the foot, the passing of time was hard to measure. The only things that he had to measure it by were his own senses, and the feeling of the Koopa's pulse through his foot. Thud, thud, thud; the pulse repeated again and again, and the wolf could feel it every time, due to how hard he was pressed against the underside of the foot. After he stopped squirming, giving up trying to escape, he tried to measure time by counting off the beats of the pulse.

It was a little hard to do, of course; he had to guess how much time there was between each pulse, and then had to keep two running counts in his head, both the pulse and the second count, but he thought he was doing a pretty good job of that. Minutes passed...lots of minutes...

Until he felt something that worried him. The mushroom was starting to wear off, and he was starting to feel the pain of the weight on top of him. Not much, but enough to concern him as the mushrooms effects started to leave. His eyes went wide, staring up at the soft soles, and he started to squirm again, pushing against the foot flesh, trying to get free of his musky prison.

It didn't work, of course...until...

"Lord Bowser!"

The foot lifted off of Nathan's body, and the wolf couldn't hold back the gasp of relief as the weight lifted off of him. He crawled away from where the Koopa had been standing, dragging himself across the carpet towards the center of the table, a point of safety if he could reach it.

Thankfully he did, and he was able to look out at the door as Bowser entered. The King didn't look down under the table, but instead looked around the different officers. He looked...not angry, but definitely not happy. Neutral was one thing to call it, Nathan supposed, but it wasn't quite right either. It was...almost expectant. Like he was waiting for something.

Well, the wolf had something for him, though he doubted that the King was going to like it. Slowly, he started crawling towards the King, and then, when he could pull himself upright, started walking.

He reached Bowser's leg when the King started talking. "I suppose you should all hear the news from me, before the rest of the gossip starts spreading around the castle," Bowser said as Nathan grabbed hold of his pebbly legs. He used the scales as handholds and footholds as he made his way up, thankful that the scales outside the shell were a little less wet than the scales within it.

"There has been a traitor in our midst," Bowser said. Nathan almost froze, but then kept climbing, listening as he heard Bowser tell the story. "Koal, one of our own, has betrayed the Koopa Army. He worked as a spy for members of the Mushroom Kingdom, passing along information about the configuration of the troops that we have deployed along the border. Thanks to him, there are several preparations in place at several points along the border, waiting for us if we chose to strike. Not many - otherwise we would have worse problems - but enough that we can't make a spearhead strike."

Nathan wondered what had changed Bowser's mind about telling his officers about the traitor, but Bowser answered that too. "I received communications about this from one of the Mushroom Kingdom lands. Apparently, they believed him captured, and asked what the ransom for him would be. Instead, they just revealed what he was. I have dealt with him, and it is the truth. He will be punished for his betrayal.

"But you deserved to know this, rather than hear it through gossip. I hope to never see another betrayal from my officers, men," Bowser said, leaning forward and nearly causing Nathan to fall from his place on the King's leg, just above the knee. "If I do, there will be hell to pay. I promise. Dismissed."

Nathan just managed to reach Bowser's leg hole in the shell as the other officers started walking out of the room. He watched them grab their shoes and put them on their sweaty feet before making their way out of the door. He listened at the hole, making sure that he heard all of them leave, and waited for the door to shut before knocking on Bowser's leg to remind him that he was there.

A large yellow hand reached down, and he let himself fall on it, landing on Bowser's fleshy palm. Holding onto the King's fingers, he let himself be lifted up. The gust of wind blowing down on him as he was lifted up and away made him glad that at least Bowser's hand was dry; slick fingers or sweaty palm would have made it very hard for him to keep his grip, particularly considering how wet he was from being kept under first Goomba and then Koopa feet. As it was, only the pebbly surface of Bowser's fingers were enough to give him the grip that he needed to stay upright on the way up, and he almost slipped anyway, just barely catching himself with his legs, wrapping them around the middle finger to keep from sliding off.

Bowser looked at him with a smirk, chuckling. "Looks like you were just through hell," the Koopa King said with a chuckle. "Enjoy your time under some other feet, little bug?"

Nathan let that question go, shaking his head a few times to clear it. "I...I have...have some news," the wolf panted.

The King's smile dropped, and he pulled Nathan in a bit closer. "Tell me what you know."

"Guem...Colonel Guem..." Nathan paused, swallowing and then taking another couple of deep breaths to steady himself. "Guem was...taking notes at the table. He had me under his feet really tightly, and he felt like he was going to crush me into the carpet the minute that the mushroom wore off. I swear, he was chasing me all around the table, trying to kill me, trying to make sure that I couldn't tell you that he was a traitor." Nathan shook his head, hanging it down. "I didn't want to find traitors at your officer table, but it looks like he was getting ready to pass on notes about where troops were, just like Koal was doing earlier."

*

Bowser's face hardened, slowly turning to look down the hall at the departing figures. The yellow monarch turned just enough that Nathan was able to look as well, and he couldn't see any sign of Colonel Guem down the hallway. He must have started running the moment that he was out of sight.

The King's face got harder and harder, and Nathan could feel the building anger through the way that Bowser's hand started to tremble, shaking. The fingers started to curl, and Nathan let go of them, laying down on the palm of the King's hand as the fingers tightened around him. Narrowly avoiding the claws, he still felt the pressure of Bowser's grip. Not enough to crush him, but definitely enough to make him glad that he was not the target of the anger.

"I'll deal with him..." Bowser muttered, his voice muffled through the fingers that surrounded Nathan's entire body. The fingers slowly uncurled, and he was let out again. "You did well. I wouldn't have known that Guem was one of the traitors if you hadn't told me; he was always one of the strongest supporters I had in the officers corp, always speaking up for me and never doubting any of the plans I put forward. I should have known better.

"But in the future...yes. He will be dealt with."

Nathan could see that the King's face was shifting, changing a bit from anger to simple stress. And he knew where the stress would lead to, particularly as another mushroom popped up in the King's hand. The wolf opened his mouth as it was brought to him, and swallowed it down quickly.

The king's magic surrounded them both, and soon they were back in Bowser's bedroom, and Nathan bounced on the bed as he was thrown onto it. Looking up, he sighed at the falling yellow foot, and groaned as it once more smothered him against the blanket, swallowing him in the King's musky smell, and pulling his cock right back up to full erection again, pre-ing against the King's foot immediately.

He really was a foot slave...he really was.

(Alternate Ending, from * )

The King stared at him for a few moments before chuckling softly. "Hehehe...so you were better at this than I thought you'd be," Bowser said, shaking his head as he grinned.

Nathan cocked his head to the side in confusion, particularly as Bowser turned and waved at someone outside.

The Colonel walked back in, the Goomba chuckling as well. "Gotta say, Your Majesty, your little foot slave is quite eager to serve you. He fought pretty hard to get away from me after I had him pinned, even though he seemed to really like it under my feet," the Goomba said.

The wolf turned back and forth between Bowser and Guem, eyes wide. "Wait...what...what are you talking about? You were trying to -"

"Guem was testing you," Bowser said. "At my command. I wanted to see just how things would go if you found a traitor in the officer corp, whether you'd fight to get the information to me, or just give up and try and go with them. I needed to test your loyalty, and see if it was with me, or with your own life." The King smiled, nodding in approval at the wolf. "I'm glad to see that you kept your loyalty to me."

What little strength Nathan still had in his legs left as he fell to his knees in the King's palm. It had all been a test? He had been that worried, that freaked out over a test? He had...and the King just...

Both Bowser and Guem laughed again as the King slowly lowered the wolf to the ground. "I promised Guem here that we'd share you if you did a good job." The King conjured another mushroom, and dropped it down. Knowing that he had little choice, Nathan ate it up quickly as Bowser started lifting a foot, Guem taking off his shoes before doing the same thing. "Let's see just how far you can run before we catch you, little bug," Bowser said.

Nathan groaned, starting to run as soon as he finished the mushroom, the heavy footsteps behind him, telling him that he wouldn't need to wait long before he was caught, but he didn't mind. Either one could catch him, and he'd just enjoy their feet again until they were done.

He was Bowser's foot slave, after all.
