Hey all it's Terrostar here, thank to all those that have been reading my stories so far. Life has been quite hectic for me as of late and I haven't been able to get online much, any way here is the start of an idea i had after writing 'A Second Chance' and is actually the prequel of 'A Second Chance' as alot of the events in this story set the stage for it.

Prologue

Running... Where I was running to, I don't know, but I could never show my face around my family again. It all happened so fast I couldn't take it all in. I'm Sios by the way but I already know that, great now I'm talking to myself, what has happened put a real strain on my brain as I've tried to digest what has happened. After everything that has happened I was unsure of myself, but one thing I was sure of was that I would never be returning back to this place.

"Find him" yelled a voice in the distance. "Shit...sounds like they've found out" whispered the pure white anthro wolf 'Sios' to himself "Come on legs don't fail me now..." Sios kept running until he heard a loud Bang. Soon after the sound he dropped to the ground writhing in pain. 'Shit I've been shot' he thought as he looked down his body and saw the bullet hole through his left leg. The hunter which had shot him came to confirm his kill along with someone else. As they got closer Sios started to lose consciousness. Then one hunter pointed his gun at the pure white anthro wolfs head. Just as the hunter was about to shoot, a shadowy figure jumped in and scratched the hunter across his chest drawing four deep gashes with its claws. "If you were smart I would take your friend and run away before I decide to kill him" spoke the shadowy figure in a feminine tone while standing on the hunter's gun. The other hunter quickly grabbed his friend and carried him to safety as fast as he could. Sios feeling weak from the blood loss got one last glimpse of his saviour before everything faded into darkness.

Comments and advice are welcome as always and i hope you enjoyed this short opening to a long story.
