Story and other characters are by me.

He took a few of his notebooks in with him, just to give the impression that he'd be studying. He was able to find a table for himself. He thought for a moment how he always had others to sit with back in Switzerland. He started to miss his old friends, waiting for them to stroll by and just sit down with him as if nothing was different; however, things were different. For one, apparently students preferred to take their lunches inside the classroom, especially since it was the beginning of a new year. He thought it was perhaps to get to know their classmates better first or to catch up with some former classmates. Whatever the reason, he was thankful that he could look at the notebook undisturbed, or so he thought.

Just as he sat down with his boxed lunch, Bill came by. He was carrying a tin for his lunch as well. "Um, hi Nüf."

"Gah!"

"Ahh!"

"Geez, Bill," Nüf said with a slight sigh, "that's twice today."

The brown bull went red again, "I'm really sorry, Nüf. I don't mean to do it. Honest." Bill bowed a little.

"Um, what are you doing?"

"Huh?"

"Why are you bowing?"

"Oh! Um...I'm...apologizing?"

"No need to try and bow yourself to me. I mean, this isn't Japan or China or anything."

Bill laughed nervously. "Well, um, do you mind if I sit down?"

Nüf started to say, "No," but he felt sorry for the bull. He was by himself as well, so why not be a good guy. "Help yourself, man."

"Oh! Thanks a lot!" he beamed.

"Heh-heh. Calm down, man."

Bill smiled but was still a bit red-faced. "Sorry. I'm just glad to know that I already have a friend at school."

"Friend?" Nüf considered. "Yeah...Sure. Of course."

"Huh? Hey, isn't that the wolf kid's notebook?" He indicated to the open notebook. The first page was blank, but the name "Dash" was scrawled inside it.

It was Nüf's turn to look embarrassed. "Um, yeah."

"You haven't given it back to him yet?"

"Uh..."

"You're curious about what's in it, huh?" Bill had a curl on his muzzle.

"Uh..." Nüf's started to get nervous, his muzzle turning crimson.

"Well, go on." Bill had scooched next to him to get a better look.

"Pardon?"

"Open up. I'd like to see too."

"Bill?!"

"What? He said himself that he likes to draw. I'd like to see if he's any good."

"O-Okay."

Bill turned the page, and both looked at the first sketch for a moment. It was of Dash. The pencil work itself looked worn and faded. "Not too bad," Bill commented. The picture itself did look like the wolf, though probably a little misshapen. It showed him with a wide, mischievous grin on his muzzle. "He looks a little crazy in this, don't you think?"

"I don't know. It's not bad, but perhaps he's just happy." He turned the page and it showed the same wolf, drawn slightly better, licking a bloody claw.

"Yeah, I'd say that seems a little crazy."

"Perhaps he's just venting." Nüf was getting a little worried. The wolf did look a little frightening in the picture.

"Well, keep going," Bill urged.

They continued looking through and found that the wolf steadily kept improving. He did more than just draw himself though. Bill and Nüf found some reoccurring characters. There was a shark character that was a mechanic, named Wayne, a British wolf cop, named Gordon, and a dragon firefighter, named Hermann. Them, along with many other characters, could often be seen shirtless with muscled torsos and chiseled abs. They came to one picture, where the Hermann character was leaning against something, dripping with sweat, his toned torso exposed, while he was holding a drink and his fire engine was sitting in the background. Nüf was silent during that one.

"Well," Bill said, "this certainly is a sexy looking one."

"P-pardon?"

"Oh, well..." Bill blushed a little, "he's done this one well. The fire engine seems well detailed and realistic, and if you notice the eyes, he's paid particular attention to those here. They have a look that kind of says...um...'Come hither.'"

"Well yeah. I guess so...." Nüf tried to not let his pause remain there for too long. "His anatomy has certainly improved with this one too."

"Yeah."

Nüf flipped through some more pages. It could be seen that the wolf experimented with styles as well, particularly with the chibi style when he had some little comics interspersed in the pages of the book. He even made some references to some anime shows that he apparently liked. There was a raccoon with an extremely dopey face with blushed cheeks. His head took up most of the page and he was shouting the word, "Pasta!" A German Shepherd, wearing a swastika armband, was in the background, muzzle-pawing himself. Bill laughed.

"What's so funny?" Nüf asked.

"Italy," he said with a giggle.

"Italy?"

"Yeah. That's Italy from the show 'Hetalia.'"

"Hetalia?"

"It's an anime that's basically a big parody about the World Wars. See this German Shepherd in the background? That's Germany. Both were part of the Axis Powers."

"Oh yeah. I get it now." He smirked.

Nüf turned to the next page and he paused at it for a moment. In it, Dash was standing in the foreground, his head turned to look at some people in the background. On the page was the word "Loner."

"Gee. A mood piece," Bill commented.

Nüf could not take his eyes off of that picture. He looked at Dash's depiction of himself. The expression on his muzzle was quite perfect for the word "loner." He looked like he wanted to join those in the background. His body position suggested that he didn't care, but there was a very slight downward curl of the line indicating his mood. Nüf couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He also suddenly felt like he was prying too much. "I, uh, I think we should stop."

"Huh? Why?" Bill asked.

"Well, for one, we haven't even eaten, and lunch is already half over."

Bill checked the clock, "Oh my gosh, you're right. I guess we got distracted."

"Yeah."

"But hey, this Dash guy is pretty good. He seems to do mostly pencil drawings, but that's as good a place to start as any. He seems to be getting even better." Bill opened up his tin to reveal a very nice looking lunch.

"Wow, that looks delicious."

"Huh? Oh...thanks," the bull began to blush. "I, uh, made it myself."

"You did?!"

"Uh, yeah. I like to cook sometimes."

"You must be pretty good at it."

"Heh-heh...Thanks again...What about your lunch?"

Nüf opened the plastic container. "It's just some leftovers from last night."

"It still looks nice."

"Yeah. I think so. Anyway, how have classes been so far for you?" Nüf and Bill talked about their classes and what more they had to expect. Unfortunately, none of their schedule for the rest of the day intersected. As they talked and ate though, Nüf kept thinking about that "Loner" picture and how sad the wolf had looked. His drawings looked great and seemed to be full of personality and life, but depression and longing just seemed to ooze from that one portrait. Nüf wanted to do something, but what could he do? He didn't even know the guy. He hadn't even had a class with him yet, except for homeroom.

He decided to try and catch him before the end of school to try and give the notebook back to him. 'Perhaps that's the best way to introduce yourself to him.' he thought. 'I'll just walk up to him and say, 'Hey, remember me from homeroom? The name's Nüf. Anyway, you accidentally left this behind after homeroom. I kept it safe for you. I did take a peek inside, and I've got to say that you're a pretty good drawer.' Yeah. That sounds about right.'

"Nüf? Nüf!"

"Huh? What?"

"Hey, man. It's time to head to next period." Most of the students that had come to the canteen area were already filing out the door.

"Oh, right. Thanks man."

"Yeah. No problem. Are you alright?"

"Yeah. I'm fine."

"Okay. You seemed lost in thought there. Anything on your mind?"

"Huh? Uh, no. I'm good."

"Well, okay. But, um, I'm a good listener, or so I've been told. So if you need someone to talk to."

Nüf chuckled a little, "Yeah, I'll hit ya' up." He smacked Bill's back. Bill grunted a little at the force.

"Heh, you're quite strong."

"Well, you're not a pushover yourself either."

Bill blushed a bit, "Well, I do work out a bit."

"Show me your arms."

"What?!"

"Come on, Bill. Show me. We have a bit of time. It's not gonna do any harm."

"Oh...I don't know."

Nüf began to roll up his sleeve. "I'll show you mine."

"Um...okay." He slowly started to roll his up while Nüf was already revealing his defined upper arm. Bill got his sleeve up, and the definition of his arm could be seen well through his short hair. He brought his arm up and flexed. It formed a very nice peak.

"Hey, nice." Nüf complimented.

Bill's face got red. "Uh, thanks." Nüf ran his claws on the bicep and gave it a little squeeze. It didn't give much. Bill tried to stifle a moan, but he still made a sound similar to a low hum. Nüf simply grinned at that, and flexed his arm.

"What do you think?" His arm was bigger than Bill's and just as cut, which was very impressive because of his hard scales. The starting of a split could almost be seen atop the muscle.

"Whoa," Bill said quietly.

Nüf smirked. "I'm glad you like it. I'm still working on getting it bigger."

"Well, so am I with mine, but wow, that's impressive." Bill ran his furred hand along the slick scales. Nüf could feel the slight prickle of the hair and grinned. He liked having his arm touched, especially by furred critters. As Bill was admiring, he noticed that the wolf, Dash, was lingering just at the door to the hall. He caught the wolf staring for a moment then duck into the hall.

Nuf started to roll his sleeve back down, "Okay. We should get to class."

"Uh, right." Bill was smirking. "I'll see you later, Nüf."

"Have fun."

Nüf walked off to his next class, Sociology, with the notebook back in his bag. He wondered why the wolf was staring at both of them. He hadn't even noticed that he was in the canteen. Did he see them looking at his notebook? What if he thought that he stole it?! He wished that he could have seen his look better. When he caught sight of him, he was too far away, so he couldn't quite make out his expression. 'Maybe it's nothing. I mean, we were flexing, so maybe he was just looking at our muscles.' he thought. 'If that's true then, he must have just been ogling me. Heh, it figures.' He had a grin on his face, and his cheeks felt warm. 'It makes perfect sense. I mean, he had all of those muscle pictures in his book. He's probably in to guys. Heh, perhaps I can have a bit of fun with this. Things are starting to look up for this day.'

He was one of the last students to enter the classroom. There weren't many seats left, but he quickly spotted that the grey wolf was in his class. 'Perfect!' he thought. Dash was sitting in the far right area of the room. Nüf walked in front of Dash's view and gave him a grin before sitting in the seat just off of Dash's right. He didn't look at the wolf's reaction, but he didn't need to in order to play his game.

It was something he had perfected during his last year of school in Switzerland. The name of this game he was playing he affectionately called, "Eye Candy." If he gave a treat to the eyes of his target, he'd have a treat in return. Maybe not immediately afterward, but somewhere down the line it would happen. The game could be long and drawn out at times, but it was his favorite game. Not only would he get some sort of action later on, but he also got to be admired along the way. Double the pleasure, double the fun. The minimal end goal was to establish some interest. It could just be a smile, a playful bit of chatter, or just full blown eye-ogling, but it could lead to much more later. One time, it ended with a full-blown make out session in the bathroom right after the game had ended. Things even got physical when they both started to paw each other off. It was a very fun game that day.

Nüf already played his first move. The wolf was fishing something out of his bag. He didn't look like he was trying to hide his face. It was as if he didn't notice the dragon. Nüf got his books ready, waiting for the wolf. Once the wolf was looking forward, the dragon gave the wolf another million-dollar smile. The wolf gave a slight turn of his head, catching Nüf's expression out of the corner of his eye, then turned his head toward the front again, his muzzle expressionless. Nüf wondered about that for a moment and decided to try being a little more subtle. 'Don't wanna seem too eager. Let him come to me.'

"Okay class, take your seats, please." said a lioness. She was dressed appropriately for her position and had a pair of spectacles to help her read. Her voice had an almost lyrical tone to it. "I'm Ms. Melanie Himaru. I'm the homeroom teacher for class 2-E, but I'm going to be your Sociology teacher for this year."

"Himaru?" Nüf leaned in toward Dash, making his next move. Humor was always a good way in with his targets. "Isn't that the Himaru that Professor Shinzu went insane over during homeroom?" he said in a low voice to Dash. Dash made no response. He kept his eyes focused on the front.

"Normally students wait until I start my lecture before they start whispering to each other," said Himaru. Nüf turned his eyes toward the front and noticed that the lioness was already in front of him.

'Cripes! She's fast!'

"Do you mind telling me what was so interesting that you just had to tell someone else as soon as possible, Mr.?

Nüf stood at attention, "Um, Bachmann, professor." The lioness was a head and a half shorter than the dragon, but her pose and attitude was making Nüf a little nervous.

"Mmhm. Well, Mr. Bachmann, care to share?" Himaru was not yelling, but there was a definite power behind her voice that let everyone know that she was serious.

"Um, yes. Well, no, actually."

"Do you or do you not, Mr. Bachmann?" Himaru was getting a little agitated.

Nüf thought fast. "Well, I'm in class 2-G, and our homeroom professor is Professor Shinzu."

"And he mentioned me, didn't he?"

"Uh, yes, professor."

Himaru gave a quiet sigh then smirked, "Don't worry about that jaguar. He just gets very competitive."

"Professor?"

"Long story, short: my class beat his class out in the school's athletic festival last year. My class won by a landslide, and he doesn't take losing well."

Nüf wasn't sure why, but he pressed a little further. "If you don't mind my asking, professor, but it seems to be a little more than that."

Himaru was now back at the blackboard. "If there is anything more, which there isn't, it is none of your concern, Mr. Bachmann. You may sit back down."

Nüf sat back down, slightly embarrassed at that scene. 'But hey, maybe it got his attention.' He looked to the wolf, and he was still sitting with his head and eyes forward. 'Good grief. Any normal critter would have at least given a sideways glance. Nothing from this guy.'

As soon as he thought that, the wolf turned his face towards him, but he didn't show interest, but what looked like disgust! His eyes held a glare and it looked like he was pursing his lips in to almost growl at him. 'Gah! He's mad! But why! Wh-What if he knows that I have his notebook! What if he's angry at me for that, that I haven't given it back to him yet and that I've looked at it! I-I could try and slip the notebook back to him now and apologize for it later, but...that would just convince him and make him stay angry at me! I might as well claim that I've lost already....No. That's not gonna happen. I can regain the advantage. Just stay focused.'

As Ms. Himaru went on about sociology, Nüf did his best to try and gain Dash's attention. He gave him dreamy looks. He flexed his arms hard so that his shirt strained a bit to contain them, making sure they were in clear view of Dash. He even went so far as to try and brush his tail over the wolf's, accidentally of course. He got nothing. The wolf was unshakeable. The class ended, and Nüf hung his head. He had lost. That rarely...that never happened. He usually got at least some sort of half smile at the end. 'I guess I've lost my touch.'

"Um, excuse me," said a high-pitched, female voice behind him. Nüf turned and looked down to see a tawny-colored, vulpine muzzle looking up at him, eyes hopeful. "Uh, Nüf, wasn't it?"

"Yeah. What's up?" He made a joke to himself about that because her muzzle, pointing up, only reached him about mid-chest. He guessed her to be about 5'2".

"I'm-uh-not sure you remember me. I'm Sara, from your class."

"Sara...Sara...You're the vixen who likes apples, right?"

"Yes," she giggled. "I'm glad you remembered."

"Well, it was a unique fact about you."

Sara giggled again. "Anyway, I know this is a rather personal question, but I was sitting right behind you in class."

"Oh." Nüf's tail went limp. "You saw that, huh?"

"Um yeah, and I was wondering...um." She asked this in a whisper, "Are you gay?" Nüf looked a little surprised. "I mean, if you are, it's fine. Although it would be shame."

Nüf chuckled a little and grinned broadly. "Actually, I'm bi."

"Oh! Really?" Sara's eyes became dreamy, and Nüf could smell a bit of desire coming from her. "Well, I am sorry that it, uh, didn't work out in there but don't take it too personally." She slipped Nüf a piece of paper. "I was impressed though. Um, that has my number. Give me a call sometime."

Sara started to walk away, but Nüf gently grabbed her paw as everyone was walking away. He gave her a curl of his muzzle. "Why wait? We've got a few minutes before the next class." Her scent suddenly became very noticeable. Her muzzle curled up tightly. Nüf could feel she was very excited because her paw twitched a little as he held it. They snuck over to the nearest bathroom. It was the male restroom and was thankfully empty.

In the confines of the linoleum-tiled room, her lusty scent was almost overpowering. Nüf had been with a fox before, so he wasn't unfamiliar with their powerful smells, but it had been a while since his last fox. When the scent hit his nostrils again, he could not help but growl and press Sara up against the wall as he bent down and slid his forked tongue into her eager vulpine muzzle.

Sara meeped in surprise as she hit the wall, but she barely lost a second as she wrapped her arms around his wide back, as much as she could. Nüf knew that bending down would be a bit more tiresome, and besides, he loved to show off. He ran his clawed hands down her sides and around her cheeks and clenched them, lifting her up. The fox gave a swooning moan as their tongues curled around each other again, wrapping her legs around his waist and squeezing Nüf's powerful arms. Nüf's breath was hot against Sara's fur. If he wasn't able to get the wolf right now, at least he'd be able to have a bit of another canid. He squeezed her ass again, and her fluffy tail thumped against the bathroom wall.

Her scent was stifling in the closed space, and ramped up Nüf's desire. His growing hardness was pressing right into her groin. "Mmm~," she said in between warm flicks of their tongues, "I don't think we have time for that." Her voice was surprisingly low in comparison to the squeakiness from before. "How tall are you anyway?" Her padded fingers traced down his white shirt, pressing into his arms to feel his musculature.

"6 foot, 5," he said with a throaty growl. His tongue slithered across hers, reaching for her throat.

"Nnmmm~" Her paw ran along his front and expertly sank into his pants. He felt her pads along his member and grew more excited. Sara had a slight blush on her muzzle. "Good to know that you're big in many ways," she whispered. Her fingers teased the tip of his penis, and the pink flesh rose up above the waistband of his pants, being freed of their confines. The member plumped and swelled a bit higher. "Very big," she murmured with a slight quiver in her voice. Her paw circled his hardness and stroked as much as they could. Nüf shivered and moaned as his wings flapped. He nuzzled down to her neck and nipped her. Sara gave a little squeak of approval as she pumped a little faster.

Though the scent was definitely female, Nüf could almost see the tawny fur being replaced by grey. The funneled muzzle rounded to become lupine. Her eyes were then covered by square spectacles and he nipped into her neck harder. The sound warped and became more masculine to him, though still a little high-pitched. The wolf was now stroking his member with tenacity and urgency. Nüf's wings flapped harder as he felt the pressure building inside his cock. His white muzzle met the grey one in an extremely passionate kiss as he freed one clawed hand to rub at the wolf's groin through his pants. "Ah! Nüf," the wolf squeaked. The dragon panted and moaned as he wings began to create an air current around the two. He could hardly hold himself in any more, and his musk spurted out into the waiting paw of the tawny-colored vixen.

The illusion was broken. The wolf was gone, and the fox had returned. Her paw covered with his fluids, a satisfied grin on her muzzle. Nüf moved his claw away from her covered groin, but he felt a very slight dampness. She had enjoyed it too. He looked down at his barbed member, still leaking a bit, and noticed a spot on his shirt. "Crap," he muttered.

"No worries," she said. "I've got some spot remover and deodorizer. Kinda need that stuff when you're a fox." She giggled and went over to the sink to dampen a towel.

Nüf stuffed his softening erection back into his pants. "So, if you don't mind my asking,"

"Yeah?"

"Why did you say to not take offense as to what happened in class?"

"Oh," she wrung out the paper towel and handed it to Nüf. He wiped the cum spot on his shirt and rubbed it out as much as he could. She was drying her paw off and handed him a dry towel as she said, back in her high-pitched voice, "I was in class with Dash last year. He never had many people that he hung around with at all last year. I don't even think he had a girlfriend...or maybe boyfriend? I don't know. He just never seemed too interested in anybody as so far as I had noticed."

"Really? That's a little odd." Nüf was drying his shirt, and Sara stepped into a stall to dry herself.

"I know right?" she said with a flair as she was in the stall. "I mean, I thought he was just extremely shy at first, but I tried talking to him a few times before and he always seemed a little gruff with me."

"Hmm..." Nüf knew that she was likely one of the school's most flirty females, but seeing as she just gave him a bit of sexual release, he bit back his thought.

"I just think the guy probably doesn't like anybody." She came out of the stall, sprinkling some deodorizing powder on her paws then handed the mini container to Nüf. "But it was odd." She looked up at him, speaking matter-of-factly, "During this morning's introductions, he actually gasped and looked a little nervous when you stood up to give your introduction."

"That was him?" Nüf acted surprised.

"I know, right? I saw his face, and he looked like he was interested. I was quite surprised, too. When I saw you in class, I was actually rooting for you, but he was still just as plain-faced as ever. Thank you." Nüf had handed her back the powder and she stuffed it into her bag. "I guess I must have been wrong."

"Well, thanks for the info, and for the release," he said with a smirk.

She giggled. "My pleasure, big guy. Oh, wait!" She stopped to smell him and herself. "There's a slight scent, but no one's really going to notice unless they get really close." She got close herself and pressed her paw into his stomach, getting a quick feel of his abs through his shirt. Nüf grinned and ran a claw down her back and gave a light squeeze of her tail, which she flicked.

They both peeked out of the bathroom to check if the coast was clear. "We better get going," she whispered. "The bell rang a few minutes ago, so we're already late."

"Really? I didn't even notice."

"Heh, that's because you were too occupied." Another giggle. "Though I almost didn't notice myself." Before they parted, she stopped the dragon, "Listen, just so you know, I don't really do the coupling thing too much. So if you were expecting something..."

Nüf chuckled, "Heh, no. I completely understand. I was going to mention that myself. I don't think I'm ready for something like that quite yet, since I'm still so new to the area." She giggled again. 'I don't remember foxes giggling so much' he thought to himself.

"Cool," she said. "But hey, keep that number close to you. I wouldn't mind doing this again, or...something much more." She eyed the dragon's groin and gave her chops a slight lick, just to tease him.

Nüf gave a broad grin. "I'll keep that in mind." They waved bye to each other and headed to their respective classes.

Nüf, of course, was late. He got a stern warning from his Indonesian professor that he wouldn't tolerate any more tardiness and because it was the first day, he was going to let it slide. Nüf actually found that Bill was attending the class, along with the gryphon he remembered seeing during the ceremony. An open spot was next to Bill. After a moment, the bull took a chance to lean over to Nüf. His nose scrunched a little, but he didn't say anything about the smell. Instead, he said, "You okay, man?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine."

"What happened?"

"I'll tell you later." And it wasn't until after the final bell when Nüf explained to the bull about what had happened during Sociology and only hinted at what had happened in the bathroom with Sara.

Bill's first remark was, "Oh, so you're bi?"

"Yeah, man."

The bull relaxed his shoulders. "Cool. I thought I was the only one."

"No kidding?"

"Yeah...So um, you already got some action?" Nüf just grinned. "And on the first day of school?" Bill started to blush. "Wow," he muttered, "I wish I was as bold as you."

The gryphon from class just passed by, and Bill's head followed him. Nüf looked in Bill's direction and noticed that the gryphon had a furred tail, like a wolf, instead of a feathered one. "Is that the gryphon from this morning?" he asked Bill.

"Um...Yeah."

"Why don't you say, 'Hi,' to him?"

"Oh, uh, no. I don't think I can."

"If you wanna get to know the guy, you're gonna have to at some point in time."

"Well...yes, but..."

Nüf just put his arm over the bull's shoulders. "It's okay, Bill. Look, I'm gonna help you, alright?"

"You will?"

"Sure. I mean, honestly, it's kinda pathetic that you're standing here blushing and scared to talk to someone with you looking the way you do."

Bill blushed hard, but he suddenly turned Nüf's logic on to the dragon. "What about you?" he said quietly.

"Pardon?"

"Why don't you go talk to that wolf, Dash? I mean, he does look like he could use a friend."

"Nah. After what happened in class, I think that he probably doesn't like me."

"That was class, Nüf. Maybe he's just a good student and didn't want to mess around while the teachers were talking."

"Oh...I guess you could be right about that."

"I see him right over there." The wolf was just walking by, carrying his bag and his things. He looked quite depressed. "Go talk to him. Give him back the notebook."

"Y-You're right." Nüf started to go forward, but he was suddenly blocked by a rush of students. He tried to follow the wolf, but he lost sight of him. When the students passed, the wolf was gone. "D-did you see where he went?" he said back to Bill. The bull just shook his head. Nüf slumped.

"Hey, cheer up, Nüf. I'm sure you'll get to see him tomorrow. I mean, there's homeroom. You can give the notebook back to him then."

"Yeah. I just feel kinda bad about not being able to give it to him now, you know?"

The bull nodded. "Anyway, I gotta wait for my parents to pick me up. You getting a ride?"

"Oh, crap!" he said. "No, my Mom won't be able to pick me up today. I gotta get to the public bus." Nüf dashed for his things and hastily said, running past Bill, "See ya tomorrow, Bill."

"See ya later!" he called after him.

Nüf made it to the bus right before the doors closed. He slipped some of the extra money his mother gave him this morning into the fare box. 'All in all,' he thought to himself, 'this hasn't been too bad of a first day. I was fearing the worst this morning, but at least it ended on a high note.' he chuckled to himself as he slumped down into the fifth row, not having even paid attention to how many or how few people there were on the bus. He slinged his bag next to him on the seat. 'Too bad I wasn't able to give Dash's notebook back to him though. I still can't believe I blew it though.' Nüf audibly sighed then thought, 'If only I had another chance today.'

The dragon heard a cough from his left. He peered out of the corner of his eye and saw the very same wolf he was thinking of. Luck was apparently on his side.
