Chapter Two: Meeting the friends.

Celai made her way towards campus. She had only one class today, but she wasn't able to skip; she had already missed too many classes. It was her favorite class, unfortunately, one where she got along very well with the professor; her Shakespeare class.

As she made her way across campus, she looked around in awe of all the species she saw. Some people she could recognize, but most looked like entirely different people. She blushed and lowered her face when she caught people staring Hopefully, no one knew entirely who she was. She knew, though, that she had some fairly recognizeable clothing. The Dublin jersey she wore would probably give her away to her friends and closer classmates.

When she stepped into the class, she kept her eyes down and sat in her desk. Looking up cautiously, she tried to guess who was who. She blushed a bit when she saw a friend of hers looking her way. The prof came in; he was a great old lion. He settled his laptop in place and lowered the projector screen, looking out. "How's everyone doing today?" He asked, grinning a little. "Seeing a lot of new faces..."

Celai gave a little smile. She loved this prof. They always talked about obscure music, typically Irish and English artists, and older classic rock artists. He looked out at the class, and started to take role. Celai winced, lowering herself in her desk slowly.

"Tommy? Is Tommy here?" He asked, looking at the class and resettling his glasses. "Tommy?"

Celai shuddered, then raised her hand. "H-here?"

The professor looked out at the students, blinking and narrowing his eyes. The class all turned, too, looking surprised and whispering amongst themselves. "Oh, my." He said, "Uh... I see. Some changed more than others. Uh... Do you still want me to call you Tommy?"

Celai was blushing deeply. She pushed her hair over her shoulder, pursing her lips. "I've changed my name to Celai." She said slowly.

"Ah." The professor said, clearing his throat awkwardly. "Celai. I'll uh... I'll write that down." He said, quickly changing the subject. Some of the class would stare, and she noticed a lot of whispering, too. She lowered herself in the seat a bit further, curling her tail in front of her face slowly.

She got out of the class as quickly as she could. She stopped in the student union to quickly get something to drink. She set her bag down on a table, sitting briefly to read some of her notes and relax. She didn't notice right away, but a male wolf was watching her from a table a few feet away. She glanced up and around a little while, but she didn't catch his eyes quite yet. Eventually, the wolf stood and made his way over. He had dark fur, and was rather handsome. His hair was down to his shoulders, and kind of wavy, held back in a small pony tail.

He stopped by the table. "Hi, there."

Celai glanced up from her notes, the pop bottle in her mouth. She blinked. "Mm!." She said, lowering the bottle. "Hi," she said, grinning sheepishly.

"Can I take a seat?" He asked, pulling a chair out and indicating towards it.

Celai pricked her ears, shrugging. "Sure..." She said, narrowing her eyes.

"Thanks," He said, smiling. "My name's Mason," he said, holding a hand out to her.

Celai looked up from her notes again, furrowing her eyebrows. "Oh. Uh. Celai," She said. She innocently reached out and took his hand. When he raised it to his mouth and kissed it, she turned bright red. "Oh!" She started, putting her notes in her bag and picking up her backpack. "Uh. I'm just leaving."

"Wait!" Mason said, gently taking her arm. She was kind of impressed with how gentle he was. "I just wanted to introduce myself," He said. " I saw you in the English department, and wanted to say hey. I'm an English major too."

"Uh. Cool," Celai said, pulling her backpack onto her shoulder again. "I've really got to go."

"Can I at least give you my phone number?" Mason asked, with a dorky grin. She met his eyes, and with the overall nerdy sensation she got from him, she caved.

With a small sigh, she nodded. "Sure." She said, taking out her cell phone. He gave her his number, and she gave him hers.

Mason gave her a little smile. "You're in the Shakespeare class, right? I took it last year. It was a lot of fun. If you ever need any help with it, you should totally give me a call," He said. "Maybe we could see a movie or..."

She pricked her ears, looking at the male's shirt. His shirt had a popular video game character on it. Having been a big gamer, she grinned. "Play some video games?"

"You game?" Mason asked, eyes wide. He caught his composure, chuckling softly. "I mean. Yeah, that'd be cool."

She gave a small giggle, almost unintentionally. "Alright. Well, I'll see you later," She said, turning and walking away. Once he was out of earshot, she let out a sigh. "Christ... I just got hit on." She muttered, gently stroking her forehead and continuing on towards her apartment.

Half way home, her cell went off. She glanced at it, and saw that it was sylvia. Oh, shit! She answered. "Hello?" She asked, trying to make her voice deeper.

"Tommy?" Sylvia asked, sitting in her apartment, very naked. She had changed into a rather sexy little bunny; her hair a bright blue. She was petite, but still very fiesty. "What's up?"

"Oh, nothing," Celai said, licking her lips. "Just getting out of class."

"You sound different..." Sylvia said. "Something wrong?"

"No, not at all," She said. "Just the change, you know."

"Right. Well, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later."

"Hang out?" She said, accidentally forgetting to throw her voice. "Uh. Sure."

"...Is everything alright, Tommy?"

"Yeah. Fine. I'll call you later!" She said, and hung up. Celai shook her haid, her tail flowing nervously behind her. She couldn't see Sylvia tonight like this. She'd die. She would have to, eventually, though. When she got back to her apartment, she saw a collie and a leopard outside her door. "Hey, can I help you?"

"We were coming to see Tommy," The collie said. "We're his friends. I'm Cassie and this is Phelan."

Fuck. Just bad luck. "Oh. Well." Celai said. "Uh... Hey, guys."

Phelan went wide eyed. Phelan was the most innocent, caring guy that Celai knew, and had a permanant air of dorkiness around him. "No way!"

Cassie, who had taken theatre classes with Tommy, had been one of the most unique people she knew. She was charming, bright, and funny. She went wide eyed and had to cover her mouth. "Tommy!?"

"Celai, now," She said, bright red, and shifting uncomfortably.

"Holy!" Cassie said. "Let me get a look at you!" She said, walking around Celai, looking her over. "Damn, you're hot." She commented, laughing. "The jeans suck. I've got some skirts that'd probably fit you, though."

"Enough!" Celai shouted, shaking her head. "God damn, that's all I've gotten today."

"Alright, alright..." Phelan said, smiling. "That's enough, Cassie."

"I was being serious," Cassie said. "The offers open. Just saying, I've a plaid skirt your ass'd look great in."

"Thanks...." Celai muttered sarcastically. "What'd you guys want?" She asked, opening her door and ushering them inside.

"We wanted to know about that scene thing you were talking about. The live performance on campus," Phelan started, setting his backpack down.

"Oh!" Celai said. A while back, she had sent an email around to all the theatre kids she knew, wanting to see if anyone wanted to perform a live swordfight on campus, on a random day, when a lot of people were outside. "Yeah, were you guys interested?"

Cassie nodded. "Yeah. It sounds completely unnecessary, so it should be plenty of fun."

"Cool," Celai said. "We can rent out the green room in the arts center to practice," She added. "Do you guys know anyone else that'd be able to do it?" Celai asked, making her way across the room, sitting back in her chair. The others took seats on the couch. Celai leaned back to stretch, raising her arms over her head and arching her back, letting out a low murr of pleasure.

Phelan blinked, staring rather intently as the hot fox girl stretched. Her back arched, pushing her breasts out, making low, pleasured noises; arms grasping at the air. Cassie, too, was staring. She snapped out of it, and gave Phelan a little smack. Phelan winced. "Ow!"

Celai blinked, looking towards them. "...What?"

"You, uh..." Cassie started. "You stretch nicely."

Celai pricked her ears curiously, tilting her head to the side. Phelan was covering his mouth with his hand and nodding slowly, a bit flushed.

"Uh. Hun?" Cassie started, shifting towards Celai. "You aren't wearing a bra?"

"I'm sorry, I've been a guy for the past twenty or so years," Celai started. "Bra shopping never really crossed my mind."

"Doesn't it hurt?" Cassie asked.

"Kind of, when I'm going up stairs, or when I was running."

"Well..." Cassie started, pulling her arm into her own sweatshirt and fumbling around. "We look about the same size," She muttered, presenting a black and red push-up bra towards her. Phelan, at this point, was just looking between the two. His hand was still covering his mouth, and he quickly decided it would be a better idea to just stare straight at the floor.

Celai blinked, looking at the bra and biting her lip.

"Come on," Cassie said, with a little grin. Celai stood and brought Cassie into her room. Celai shut the door, and turned around, looking to Cassie. Cassie tossed her the bra. "Go ahead."

"...With you in the room?" Celai asked, bright red.

"Hun, yours won't be the first pair of tits I've seen," Cassie said, rolling her eyes a bit.

Sighing and folding her ears back against her head, Celai quickly pulled up her shirt. Cassie's ears pricked at the sight of the fox's breasts, and the collie gave a little grin. Celai fumbled with the bra, putting it on backwards to clip it in place, then turning it around to pull the cups over her chest. She was a little bit bigger than Cassie, but it wasn't terribly uncomfortable. She blinked, looking down at her chest. Her breasts were pulled up, and closer together; providing a damn fine sight of clevage. She looked over at Cassie, who just laughed a bit.

"Looks good, babe," Cassie said, standing up and walking past her. The collie's tail brushed up Celai's exposed stomach and over the bra; tickling her softly. Celai went wide eyed, turning to raise an objection when Cassie opened the door.

Phelan looked over just in time to see the Fox with her shirt still raised, the bra pushing her impressive chest out to see easily. "Oh, god!" Phelan shouted, blushing deeply and looking away. "Sorry!"

Celai looked down at her chest quickly, then hastily pulled her shirt down. She was blushing furiously. "Cassie!"

"Oh, come on, Phelan. Man up!" The collie said, laughing. "You've seen boobs before!"

"Yeah, but...!" Phelan started, covering his eyes now. "But that's Tommy!"

"Celai." The fox said, folding her ears back. She'd have to eventually get used to it and accept herself as a female sooner rather than later. "I'm Celai, now."

"You're taking it well." Cassie said, sitting cross legged on the couch beside Phelan

"I don't really have a choice, do I?" Celai asked. "Do you guys remember Sylvia?"

Phelan nodded. "Yeah," He said, then paused and looked at Celai. "Oh, shit! Does she know you're a girl?"

Celai shook her head. Cassie raised an eyebrow. "She wanted you pretty badly, didn't she?"

Celai nodded. "Yup. And I promised to see her tonight."

"You idiot," Cassie quipped. "How the hell are you going to explain this?" Celai shrugged. "Well, I'm sorry to tell you, Celai, but those are too big to tape down."

Celai blinked niavely. "...Tape down?"

"Your boobs," Phelan said, smiling awkwardly. "You could tape them down and try to look like a guy, but yours are really, really big."

"Thanks, Phelan," Celai said, unable to hold back a laugh. She sat down beside pat, and Cassie sat on Pat's other side. "Well. What do I do?"

"You told us without a problem," Phelan started. "How hard would it be to tell Sylvia?"

"It'd be like you telling Cassie," Celai replied. At that, Cassie flattened her ears and gave a little blush. Phelan just kept his awkward smile up. "Well. I guess I don't have a choice either way."

"Yup," Cassie said. "Good luck, girl."

"Thanks." Celai said, smiling softly. "I think it's going to be worse having to buy new clothes, though."

"Yeah, but you'll be hot," Cassie said with a laugh.

The group continued to talk, finally getting back on the topic of the public show that they were going to do. In the meantime, they ordered a pizza, and Celai had her first shot at flirting to get free food. It didn't work, but the Pizza guy sure as hell didn't mind. Finally, Cassie and Phelan let Celai alone.

Celai glanced at her cell phone. She didn't have much time before she had to go see Sylvia. She cleaned up, put the remaining pizza away. Then, she grabbed her things and set out for her meeting.
