Lunar took a deep breath. He was slowly pacing back and forth within the throne room awaiting his wife's return. She had some business to attend to in Cloudsdale, this coupled with the fact that they were to travel to Earth upon her return had the stallion nervous. Both Luna and Twilight sat and watch the stallion and his pacing. "You must be calm dearest brother. We are sure that they will welcome you with open hooves."

"I wish that were the case Luna but I am not so sure. I will not know how they will truly react till we arrive and they see me."

"Well Queen Celestia is going with you Star so it shouldn't be that bad right?"

Lunar sighed deeply and sat on his haunches. "I just hope that they can look passed what they see."

They did not have long to wait as the door to the throne room opened and in stepped Celestia followed by two of her guards. "Well that took a bit longer then I had thought but nonetheless it is done. We shouldn't have any missing clouds from now on. What? Why dose every pony seem so nervous?"

"I am the one whom is nervous dearest. This trip to Earth is a much needed one but it still dose not put my mind at ease. I still fear how they may react to me, to us."

Celestia slowly walked over to her husband and gently lifts his head with her hoof till they lock eyes. "My love, regardless of how this turns out at least you will know that you did everything you could to bridge the gap that has formed between you. No pony can ask anymore then that."

"Perhaps you are right. Well then shall we?" Lunar and Celestia looked to both Luna and Twilight. "We will not be gone for long so in that time we leave Equestria in your hooves."

"You may always count on me your majesties."

"We as well. Have a safe journey."

Lunar looked to his wife as both their horn lit up with magic. Their combined aura surrounding them both and in a flash of light, they were gone. The disoriention that came with a teleportation spell was there but was increased given that they were not just moving from one place to another but from one plane of existence to another.

When the two of them reappeared they were on a large stone porch upon a hill. Lunar staggered a bit before Celestia caught him. "It seems you may still have to grow accustomed to instant travel."

"Well when I was brought to Equestria I was unconscious so I didn't have to worry about the wooziness that came with it. Anyway..." Lunar looked to the metal storm door.

"Just take a deep breath my love and go."

Lunar had done as his wife instructed and took a deep breath before letting it out. He slowly approached the door and gently knocked with his hoof. An immediate response emitted from with the house by the sound of dogs barking. The door then slowly opened and before them was and elderly man. "Good morning sir my wife and I were just wondering if it were at all possible that we were to come in and rest for a bit. We have come an awfully long way and have news for your eldest daughter about her son."

The older man was not sure of what to do or say, he just stared at the two talking ponies or at least what he thought were ponies standing before him. "Dad who is it?"

"Some people here saying that they have news about Tommy."

"Well don't just stand there, let them in."

Upon his daughter's request he pushed open the storm door and held it open for both Lunar and Celestia. "Thank you very much." The royal couple walk out of the small foyer into the hall. The elderly man closed the door behind them and walked around to their front. Lunar just stood there looking about the place, memories began to course their way through his mind. The times he spent here seemed to hit the stallion all at once and a single tear ran off his cheek.

"Be at peace my champion."

"Thank you my dear." Lunar once regaining himself walked through the hall a short distance before turning and entering their dinning room. Those sitting at the table stood up fast at the sight of the two ponies.

"Please do not be alarmed. We are merely here to address a situation that has been bothering you for sometime. If you would all join us within the sitting room we can tell you all you need to know."

"Hey wait a minute, I know you. You're that Princess Celestia my friend keeps talking about. But whom are you?" The second eldest of three boys had spoken up from his place at a much smaller table. Celestia smiled and nodded her head before joining her husband.

"I young Michael am Celestia's husband, Lunar Star. Now please we know you have many question and we will do our best to answer them to the fullest."

Lunar looked upon the faces of the family he had known for they were confused and did not quite understand how what looked like a winged unicorn sat before them, more to the point two of them. "You said you had news of our son. The only thing we got from him was a letter stating not to look for him but how couldn't we?"

"I understand your reasons from wanting to find your foal but know this. Your son is safe, he is alive and well more then that he is happy. He was taken from you because he was needed elsewhere. He was brought to us in Equestria and from there helped save us from a tyrant who wanted us under his claw. To us your son is a hero and will forever be so till the end of his days."

A young woman stepped forward. She was roughly 5'4 with short dark hair. She wore a white tank top and dark red sweat pants. She was slightly portly and wore glasses upon his face. "Wait a minute. I know my kid, Tommy is not a fighter, why I don't think I have ever seen him get into a fight in his life."

"Ponies change ma'am, just as with any situation when given the chance." Celestia had said, gently leaning against her husband whom the family in the house did not know was indeed their son.

"Wait how did you know my name?"

Lunar smiled softly to the young boy whom had spoken to them before. "Well there are many things about you as well as your family that I do not know. But before you all jump to conclusions the answer is no, we are not spying on you. Only I know about this house hold and all whom dwell within."

Celestia looked to Lunar and nodded her head. The stallion then rose and walked over to the elderly man that sat in a wooden chair before them. He took a deep breath before speaking. "The last thing your wife gave me before she left this world was a hug. In that moment, that very instant I wanted to do all I could to save her. She was the greatest grandmother I could have ever asked for."

Everyone took a step back from the two of them in shock. "How do you know that?"

"Because grandfather, I am your grandson."

"No I won't believe it. I can't believe it." Lunar looked up to the woman whom stood behind him.

"Look into your heart mother you know it is true."

"NO! I won't believe it you hear me! You are not my son!" With that she left the room and turned the corner, her husband joining her. All that was heard was the slamming of a door.

Lunar hung his head. "Forgive me perhaps it was best that we not have come."

"No, you are wrong. We do not care if this is who you are now. You are still our Tommy no matter what you look like. But what did happen to you?"

Lunar soon returned to his wife's side and began to tell them all the story of his time within the land of Equestria even up to the point of his death and subsequent rebirth.by the time the full scope of his tale was over it was nearly sunset.

"So, this is the new you?"

Lunar nodded his head. "I told you within my letter that I had sent that I would eventually return and when I did I would hope that you would welcome us just as if you were able to visit us. The ones I had hoped would understand are the ones the did not. In any case I thought it best that you all knew of my fate. I am happy where I am and I don't want you all to worry about me. But the sun is already begining to set and we must return. I promise to send letters when I can."

A young girl walked up to the stallion and promptly punch him in the side. "That's for making us worry so damn much." Before he could even respond she wrapped her arms around him. Lunar looked to his bride as she smiled. He then gently wrapped his sister within his wings.

"Listen little sis I want you to keep an eye on mom and dad for me ok. I don't know if they will ever come around but if they don't thats alright."

"Don't worry, I'll see what I can do to change their minds."

Releasing the stallion she returned with everyone else. "Everyone never forget that I am always with you no matter what." Lunar looked to Celestia and as their magic enveloped them in its aura, a flash of light later, the royalty of Equestria were gone but on thing was left behind, A picture of Lunar, Celestia as she lay within a bed and a bundle that was clutched within her hooves. Inside the bundle was an alicorn foal. On the back it read...

To my family I thought you might want to see our little girl, Silver Snow.
