The Curse of Doppelganger Sonic

It was a normal day for a 23-year old boy named Dave as he heads out to gamestop in Vernal, Utah to pickup his Pre-Ordered copy of Sonic Generations on his PS3 the game case looked normal and everything you'd expect from a sonic title, But once he got home and inserted the disk he starts up the game and everything seemed normal until both sonics show up classic sonics hands were bloody and dripping blood his eyes black and a cut on his arm, Then Modern Sonic shows up on the right hand side... looking at Dave and laughing... as he pulls out Amy Roses head severed from her body and blood dripping out.

He was freaked thinking SEGA had a sick mind but he presses start and the game fades to black and the game starts normally so he keeps playing beating the Genesis Era and all challenge acts with both optional boss and era boss done, Then he moves onto the DreamCast Era and does the same thing once there he heads to the Modern era and this is were things got weird he gets to crisis city and normaly you see a white statue of Blaze the cat but.... nothing was there and a black wall prevented him from continuing on "Maybe I glitched the game?" He thought as he enters as Classic Sonic he notices that the name was No Escape. and that the levels normal till after the flame tornado he sees Classic Tails? But he was back at the green hill stage entrance but something was off and he noticed it off the bat Tails head was Severed from his body Dave was a little freaked out but continued on then he sees Classic Knuckles? So he pauses and searches YouTube for walkthroughs and sees this is nothing like what the video shows so now he thinks he somehow got a hacked copy by accident.

So he continues on knuckles head being severed too but the body was beaten to a pulp.... Later on in the level he sees Dr.Robotnick who is the same as tails severed head and all but when he runs past he notices a drop off he looks down until the screen moves down and it was a death pit and he has 50 lifes so he looks around no switches, No springs... just death he jumps down and gets a game over and all 50 lifes reduced to 0. But instead of going to the title screen he is back in the main hub as Modern Sonic and with 1 Life, He pushs the Triangle butten to switch to classic sonic but nothing happens so he enters and instead of Crisis City or No escape it says "You Will Die. Turn Back Now!" So Dave Continues through the level everything is normal and noticed some scratched words into the walls saying "Turn back... Or the fake will get you." He reaches the end and instead of a goal ring he sees all of modern sonics friends but only there heads including Dr.Eggman but what was creepy was.... they all had creepy grins and a text box appeared saying "Come face me... I will open the path." and a new pathway appeared so he boost down the path and noticed Sonics Doppelganger from the challenges he turns around and boss music plays so he homing attacks and loses a ring... "Ok what the hell." so he keeps attacking but once he reached 0 rings Doppelganger sonic walks over to Modern Sonic and says "Let me help you." He then grabs sonics head and rips it from the body laughing before the screen in bloody dripping text says Game Over before the game exits to the PS3 Dashboard.

Being so scared and Freaked out he breaks the disk and throws it away into a fireplace then lights it on fire melting the case and the disk until it was gone. He calls gamestop complaining but they thought he was a prank caller. The next weeks were hell on Daves mind and when he got home after a month of trying to forget what happened he hangs he keys up and when he turned around Doppelganger Sonic was there his Teeth dripping with blood and Dave was never herd from again.
