A boxing mach between a human and a Fenrrir goes bad when the human starts playing foul.

The announcer called her name. The crowd cheered her as she walked into the stadium. Her trainer, and mate, was beside her as she made her way to the rings edge and climbed in. The announcer called in her opponent. The humans in the crowd cheered as he came in. He spread his arms wide, taking in the glory, and started boxing an invisible opponent. "Don't take no notice of him Jess, he's just being cocky." The wolf turned to her mate. "Chris since when do I pay attention to human showboating?"

Her opponent, Stuart Robinson, climbed into the ring and started strapping on his gloves then he started talking to his trainer, loud enough for jess to hear. "So why doesn't he get in the ring. Does he expect his bitch to pull him up?" "Stuart he is the trainer you're facing the female." "Huh, I like you because you can tell such good jokes." "It's no joke you are facing that female, Jessica Goldman." "It'll be an easier fight then, one of those bitches shouldn't be to hard to take out." "I'm going to kill him," Jess whispered to her mate, "I'll knock his cussing head off." "Jessica listen, he's only taunting you getting you angry so you become careless." He climbed into the ring and crouched so that he was eye to eye with her. "Now get out there and bring pride to yourself, the tribe and the whole Fenrrir race. You don't have to win you just have to give him a fight he won't forget." The bell sounded to start the match, Jess got up and walked halfway to the centre before turning around and walking back to Chris.

She moved forward and kissed him. "Forgot my good luck kiss." He stroked her cheek as she walked off. "I thought you were going to run of like a scared pup." Stuart taunted. "Well I thought it would sound better to your friends if you beat me up rather than me running away human." They met in the middle and touched gloves. "I want a good clean fight, you should know the rules by now and there is no excuse for not knowing them." The referee informed. He steeped away and the bell sound.

Stuart was the first to swing trying a right hook but Jess easily blocked and followed through with an uppercut. It hit him square under the chin and sent him stumbling back onto the ropes. He used the rope to propel himself forward and swung with immense speed for Jess' head. She stepped back to dodge but fell over in the process. There was a gasp as the audience thought their favourite had gone down easily but she was quickly up and they were cheering again. " I thought side bouncing was disallowed." "Not if the reef don't see." He tried to catch her off guard with another right hook, jess nimbly dodged to the side and swung with her own right hook.

She then took her first hit of the match as Stuart blocked the hook and swung his fist into her gut. Jess stumbled back winded and Stuart swung for her chest but just clipped her breast. Jess then went in on the attack. She led with her left, caching him off guard; in his haste to defend he left his jaw undefended to her right hook. He crumpled like a rag doll as her fist hit his jaw just behind the chin and his head snapped to the side. The bell saved him for another round. Jess was angry and Chris saw this as she made her way to the corner.

She sat down in the chair mumbling under her breath. "What is it Jess?" "These stupid human rules, for little cubs it is. Six rounds of three minutes, well it's better to keep going to the knock out." "I know the humans take our traditions and bend them so that they have the advantage." He passed her the water bottle; she drank it greedily in a matter of seconds. A human came across to them from the crowd, watched closely by mean looking security. "Jess I am a big supporter, I think the ref should have given you the win, I mean who's idea was it to put in the six round rule." Both were confused at the way the human was acting it seamed a little fake. "If I remember correctly it was you humans that wanted that rule" "Oh so it was, anyway you're doing good grate and you will easily hand it to him in the next round." Neither of the Fenrrir noticed at this point the human swapped one of Jess' water bottles. "Ok thank you for the support but I need to be getting back in now. Chris another bottle please." Unfortunately Chris handed her the bottle that had been switched.

The bell tolled for the second round and the two boxers met in the middle, they touched gloves and the referee told them to fight. Stuart knew his opponent had been drugged and swung straight for the knock out. However he failed to take into account the Fenrrir immune system and the time taken for the drug to act. She darted back but stumbled; she swayed and fell onto the ropes, throwing up over the side. The bell tolled to stop the round but as Jess turned around a fist slammed into her eye and she fell limp against the ropes. "The bell had gone you cusser." Chris challenged the human. "oops." He sneered; he walked back to his corner.

Ten minutes latter Jess was in the changing rooms. She slipped off her boxing shorts and stepped under the warm water of the shower. The water ran off her body and soaked her fur. She sank against the wall and buried her head in her hands. A knock at the door to the changing rooms made her look up. Chris came in searching for her, as soon as he saw her in the shower he went and sat beside her, still with his trousers on. "That was a lousy shot at you, the ref knows it and the whole crowd know it. The test came back and you were drugged. It's you decision, finish the match, playing Fenrrir rules, or win by default." She looked into his caring yellow eyes and he looked into hers. "Let's give that rat cuss what her deserves." Chris was taken aback by the insult but understood her desire. He kissed her and led her out of the showers. She left her boxing shorts where they were.

The human audience was slightly taken aback by her being completely naked but the Fenrrir audience supported her more. She turned and called. "I honour my people by fighting the traditional way." This got an even more energetic cheer from the Fenrrir. Stuart was already in the middle and Jess hastened to get her gloves on. They met in the middle and touched gloves. "Alright this is Fenrrir rules now, and I can do this, human, before you complain again. The rules are the same as human rules except you fight to the knock out or till the other yields. You are allowed to trip your opponent." "What you can-"Stuart tried to complain. "That is the current standing of the rules. If you have a problem yield before she hits you, the bell signifies the start." The ref walked away and the bell tolled.

Jess went in like a mad beast, no, she was a mad beast. Fear crossed Stuart as she started raining down the punches. She was relentless not letting the human swing or move, the only thing he could do was defend. She broke though and broke his ribs with the first swing into the human's body. His guard dropped and she pounded him with her fist. She went straight for his nose and it broke in a shower of blood. In his anger Stuart landed another dirty shot hitting her bellow the waist on her thigh. Jess' leg went numb and she fell over he landed a kick at her chest and pulled her up by her mane. The human crowd started booing him for the first time in the match. Stuart didn't care all he wanted to do was hurt the Fenrrir. He removed his glove and started to punch at her face and throat.

A tap on the shoulder made him look away. "Leave her alone." Chris rammed his fist into Stuarts jaw and he fell back, letting go of Jess. She managed to get up onto her feet get into a defensive position. Stuart spat out blood and teeth. "Soon you Fenrrir will fall to the might of our new race soon you will all die." He ran forward going for Chris but Jess intercepted grabbing him and sweeping his legs so he was on the ground, another punch ended the match. "Not if we kick your ass." Jess turned, taking the hand of her mate, and walked out of the ring triumphant.
