#8 of Rebirth Pt2

Merry Christmas all and to all a good new...it isn't that close to new years is it? What's more, when do we need to be ready for the next wack job to come along and tell us the worlds going to end?

Anyways, this chapter is to answer all your questions as to how the tale of a human, who'd been turned into a Gallade/Ralts to save his life, ends. I hope you all enjoyed this work and I hope to be back to writing more for my other works soon.

REBIRTH

EPILOGUE

"Well...it is about damn time," a deep/haunting voice says from somewhere in the mist to which is quickly followed by a feminine giggle. "I cannot believe how many times I have delivered this same dream night after night. It almost makes me sad to see the conclusion of how it ends in a positive way." This too is followed by a feminine giggle as well as a small peck of someone getting kissed on the cheek.

"I think it is kind of sweet that they finally realized their love for one another," said a feminine voice that is followed by a pleasant/pleased sigh. "I have to admit that the fog was a nice touch." This is followed by a slight male huff and another feminine giggle.

"Whatever, come on; let's get out of here before those two get into something that we really should not see." This is followed by another giggle and an agreement; and then the sound of two sets of steps disappears further into the fog.

(Time passes)

As we look forward now we find Trisha happily lying upon her side while a set of snow white Absol pups nursing noisily/greedily from her. She leans over to nuzzle one of her pups back into place, but is brought out of her swooning moment as she hears the sound of someone entering into the den. Looking up to the entrance her mood only swoons a little more as she sees her mate slowly enter the den, muzzle full of ripe and freshly picked berries. No words are spoken between them as he sets them down near her, only to lie down next to her and share a slow/loving nuzzle between them. Both happy now that they've been reunited with each other and totally in love with the one they were meant to be with.

'Do your wounds still bother you?' Asks the male to which the female looks over at a few s/light scars that are barely visible through her snow white fur.

'Not anymore,' comes the reply from female as she leans over and nuzzles her mate lovingly once more. 'I have to admit that my sister put up a struggle, but one cannot compete against another when they are battling with a trainer.' A brief moment of memory flashes in her mind as she recalls the fierce battle with that of her sister and the coaching she'd received from her friend. All in all it had been a very difficult battle, but one she refused to concede and/or give up on the love she was fighting for.

Once the battle had been decided, the group had said their farewell and she'd been released from her trainer...no, her friend. To which she turned to look towards the caves entrance to whisper one final word of thanks and a hope to one day to meet again.

(Somewhere else in the region)

We find Lady Cresselia flying through the night, delivering her pleasant dreams to those deserving few, and somewhere in her shadow a presence lingers, ever watchful and waiting until the time when the lady of the moon falls asleep and join with her in pleasant dream filled slumber.

(In the depths of a deep/remote wood)

As a slight breeze blows through the woods which in turn causes the light that filters through those leaves to dance upon the forest floor; as well as causing a few loose strands of a legendries braided mane; that has been lightly dusted with a yellow stone, to come loose and tickle her nose. The legendary absently bats at the loose strand with a paw in her sleepy daze in hopes to return to her slumber, only to become slightly annoyed at the lose strand that falls right back into her face. Ever so sleepily she opens her eyes and glares at the strand, but before she can berate it for not doing as she wants her eyes catch a slight sparkle in the strand and she can only smile at the remembrance/significance of that yellow stone.

With the anger now gone at the strand, she smiles at it, and absentmindedly blows at it so that it twinkles from the morning's light. She amuses herself like for a time until her ears pick up a slight rustling in the trees and a familiar scent comes to her through the slight blowing of the wind. The scent is familiar to her and in that memory of what the scent belongs to she smiles to herself. Slightly closing her eyes and filling her nose with the scent, turns towards the source of the scent, and opens her eyes once more, 'I am glad that you are home. Did everything go alright?'

A form steps from behind a tree, chuckles slightly, and smiles down at her. "I don't think I'm ever going to sneak up on you." This gets the two to chuckle together until the Gallade kneels down, shares a loving kiss with the Suicune before standing once again. "She did surprisingly well for her first battle."

The Suicune nods to that, and then begins to look around in wonder or slight bit of worry. 'I cannot see her. Where is she?'

The Gallade laughs at that, only to turn slightly to the side and holds out his arm. "That little one just wanted to show you a new attack she learned when she was battling." As if almost on cue there comes a rustling from within the trees and a dark form quickly shoots out of it, only to collide into the waiting arms of the Gallade who quickly wraps up the dark form in a hug.

'Mommy...Mommy,' the bundle quickly speaks as the Gallade turns to the Suicune and shows who/what the bundle is, 'Did you see what I just did?'

'That I did little one that I did.' The Suicune smiles up at the Umbreon in a proud way. 'And I am surprised with how much you put into it that you didn't bowl over your father.' This got everyone to laugh as the Gallade places the Umbreon back down on the ground, only to see her saunter over to her mother in a proud way and share a quick nuzzle with her mother.

The Gallade can only smile down at the two, only to kneel down before the Suicune a moment later and cup her cheek in his hand, and give it a loving caress that the Suicune leans into. "Sorry we were gone for so long, but the berry bush we usually get our food from was being horded by some Ratticate that wouldn't share." This got the Suicune to look over in surprise to the Umbreon who sat proudly upon its haunches and had a very big grin on her face.

'And with daddies couching I was able to beat him in a battle. So now he has to go somewhere else to...own his own berry bushes.' The Umbreon sat up a little straighter and looked more than a little pleased with her actions on getting rid of a nuisance. A short time later found the group sitting about a small fire with a few berries roasting merrily over it; the Umbreon sleeping pleasantly against the slightly distended side of the Suicune while the Suicune leans against the side of the Gallade.

'Would you look at the poor dear, she's passed out from the battle.' The Suicune says as she nuzzles the slumbering Umbreon, then leans into the Gallade's hand as it stokes down her side. The Gallade only smiles as a small laugh escapes him.

"I guess it really doesn't come to a surprise that she'd pass out after that battle. That giant rat really wanted those berries for himself and didn't want to share." He then leans down and shares a quick kiss with the Suicune. "But are you sure that you don't mind her sleeping there? I mean...what if she..." The Gallade is silenced as the Suicune a paw on his chest and smiles up at him.

'I know that you are concerned, but you do not have to be. I may be gravid but that does not mean that I am helpless to protect our child.' The Gallade laughs briefly but as the two share another loving kiss he absentmindedly strokes her distended stomach and a brief image flashes in his mind of what their child might look like and he couldn't be happier.
