Another story for Christmas Month, I want to give thanks to my great friend niven from over on FA for letting me use him for one of my characters.

Bowan has always hated Christmas, well it might just take Santa to make him love it.

This was a pretty fun story to write, I loved how I was able to connect it to A very Deer Christmas Surprise.

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all think of this.

Adult due to implied sexual actions.

Bowan frowned as he walked towards the Mall; he had been dreading this day just because it was Christmas time. He had known that he would run out of food sooner or later but why this of all days. It was now two days until Christmas Eve, he knew that at this time that the stores would be packed full of people. Worst of all, it would be packed full of children waiting to see the phony Santa.

Bowan had an extremely low opinion of Christmas, he had not only had the secret that Santa didn't exist spoiled for him when he was five. But also he had never once gotten a good Christmas, it had either been his cruel father had taken away all of his presents or his parents hadn't even bothered to buy him any. Christmas had become Bowan's most hated holiday since he could remember, just because it caused his parents to fight.

Bowan sluggishly pushed open the door to the store, as he walked in he grimaced as he saw the long line leading to "Santa", "Fuck... I thought they'd already be done by now..." He muttered darkly, he tried his best to push around some of the kids to get to the shopping carts but they wouldn't budge. He decided to just carry his groceries in his hands; he started towards the grocery isle and passed by the toy section.

A new shopping attendant named Niven noticed him and mistakably thought that he was shopping for toys, "Hello sir, how are you doing this great day?" He held his hand out pleasantly to the disgruntled shopper, Bowan glared at the proffered hand. "Can you please leave me alone?..." He muttered, Niven not hearing him smiled pleasantly.

"Can I show you to the Pokémon section sir? The kids adore the newest Pikachu action figures though I would personally suggest the Jolteon action figure." Gritting his teeth Bowan once again tried to get the clerk to leave him alone, "Please! Leave... me... alone..." He grunted, Niven bent in near him. "What was that sir?" Bowan finally snapped, "I said leave me alone! Can you not understand proper English you stupid moron?!" Niven stepped back hurt, "O... oh, I'm so sorry. I... I'll just leave you alone..." Dejected the clerk walked away with his head bent down low.

After taking a few deep breaths Bowan took a brief glance around, everyone in the store was either staring at him in confusion or glaring bullets at him. Bowan took a breath and turned around and acted like nothing had happened, as he walked through the store he noticed that kids everywhere were chattering all about Christmas or Santa. As Bowan heard more and more about the fat man in the big red coat the more he got frustrated, as he tried to collect things in his jacket he kept on getting run into by the miniature shoppers.

As Bowan was just about to leave a small kid from the line impatiently pushed out of the line to glance forward and accidentally tripped the passing adult, as Bowan started to fall he watched as all of his groceries poured out of his jacket. As if in a movie everything in the world slowed to a crawl for him, in his peripheral vision he could see all of the kids slowly turning to look at him as he fell. Their parents bored expressions turning to ones of slight interest as he fell, as he smashed into the ground he felt all of the juices suddenly spraying up to meet him and all of the boxes crushing under him.

For a moment he laid on his face as he slowly registered what had just happened, as he slowly came to he felt his clothes clutch to his skin soaking. "Urg... what... in... the?..." He grunt as he slowly got up, he glanced around to see kids surrounding him on all sides, as he remembered what happened his anger slowly started to build up. One of the managers of the store ran up to him with an irritated look on his face, "Hey you there! You know you're going to have to pay for all of this, right?" Bowan's jaw dropped, "Me?! Pay for all of this?! Did you see what happened to me?!"

The manager rolled his eyes, "Of course I saw what happened, you were carrying all of your groceries in your hand instead of a cart." Bowan glared at the scrawny man, "You're kidding me, right?! All of these stupid brats were standing in the way of the carts, I couldn't get one you idiot!" The manager once again rolled his eyes; apparently he was very used to doing this action. "Well, you could've just asked them to move."

Bowan ground his teeth together, "You don't think I did that?! These kids wouldn't listen, and their parents are fucking morons!" The parents around him glared at him, he glared right back and then he glared at the kids. "You know what, all of you stupid brats are just waiting for a man who doesn't exist!" All of the kids took on a defensive list, "Santa exists dummy!" One of the gutsier kids said, Bowan grinned cruelly at the brave kid. "Oh you think so brat? Well then tell me why that Santa has a removable beard."

The kid froze and glanced back at the mall Santa, "B... but that's the real Santa... isn't he dad?" The kid looked up innocently at his father who looked like he was about to strangle Bowan before looking down at his son, "O... of course he is son... this man has no idea what he's talking about." Bowan got fed up and walked up to the mall Santa and once again flashed his cruel smile, "I don't know what I'm talking about, huh? Well take a look at this kids!"

Bowan grabbed the Santa's beard and ripped it off to reveal the man's real face, all of the kids screamed in horror as they saw the beard come off. "S... Santa isn't real?!" One of the kids cried out, pandemonium then ensued as all of the kids started to cry as they realized that father Christmas was a fabrication. Before anyone could grab him Bowan ran out still covered in his would be groceries, as he climbed into his car he screamed. "Damn it! There go's all of my food, and I doubt I'm going to be allowed in there from now on..."

Santa was doing his final check on the naughty and nice list as a rather pudgy looking elf ran in, "S... Santa! There's an emergency!" Santa glanced around the list as the elf, "Oh Schnicer, what could possibly be that much of an emergency?" The fat elf took a few breathes before he continued, "It's awful Santa! An awful man has ruined Christmas for a whole bunch of kids!" Santa stood up as he dropped his Christmas list, "What is it?!"

The elf gestured to follow him before running as fast as his little legs could carry him, he ran into a large room full of elves and Reindeer. Santa and Schnicer walked up to a desk taken up by a red nosed Reindeer, "Rudolph we need this computer for something urgent." Santa said, the reindeer looked up at him upset, "But Santa, I'm talking to my friend..." Santa gave him a glare and Rudolph sighed, "Oh... alright... but tomorrow I get the computer in the morning..." He then typed in a few things before signing off of an instant messenger; he then clopped off but not before slightly shaking his butt in the direction of some other reindeer who smiled slyly.

Santa rolled his eyes before sitting down in the chair, he then signed on to the National Christmas Alert System or NCAS for short. "Alright, so where is this giant emergency?" The elf pointed to a glowing point on the screen, Santa expanded it and came up on a Department store. He then pressed a button which removed the roof of the building and showed a large group of children crying, Santa frowned and clicked in a few commands into the keyboard and watched as time rewinded in front of him.

After a few minutes of rewinding Santa played out the whole sequence of events, after watching it all unfold a huge frown lined his face. "Do you have the profile of the instigator?" He asked Schnicer, after a few minutes of cross-referencing the human the elf held out a file to Santa. Santa looked over the file and as he read it his eyes slowly furrowed, "I think we have to take care of this problem now..." Santa muttered, he then looked up at the small elf and a sly smile passed over his face. "I think it's Christmas magic time..."

Bowan woke up blinking away odd sparks, "What was that?..." He muttered, after a moment he shrugged putting it off as a part of a dream. He stood up and walked to his bathroom, as he walked in he pulled down his pants to go to the bathroom but suddenly had an odd feeling that everything seemed a tad bit taller. "Huh... I think I must've drank something last night..." He muttered as he went to the bathroom, as he walked out he also noticed that his complexion had brightened a bit.

"Man I dunno what's going on with me but I'd better not be losing my tan, I worked hard for this tan." Bowan muttered as he walked out of the room, he then slouched on his couch and turned on his TV. He flipped through the channels attempting to find a good channel, as he watched he noticed a Christmas special and he figured that he was bored enough that he might as well watch it.

After watching for ten minutes he realized what he was doing and he disgustedly turned off the channel, "Fuck, why am I watching this shit?" Bowan muttered disgustedly before walking into his bedroom and laid back on his bed to read some magazines, as he read through the articles he slowly hummed a Christmas jingle to himself. After a few minutes he started to wonder what Christmas presents should he buy for his parents, he then blinked and threw his magazine across the bed in anger.

"What the fuck is wrong with me?!" Bowan roared before lying still on his back, as he laid back his eyelids slowly slid down. "Maybe... I should just take a little nap..." He muttered as he fell asleep, as he slept sparkles flowed out of the vents and surrounded his body. The sparkles made his body slowly start to shrink; it also lightened the tone of his skin slightly. It then slid into his nose and in through his agape mouth. For a moment his eyes fluttered as green and red sparks flew across them.

Santa was once again reading his list as Schnicer ran in, "Santa sir!" Santa glanced at him, "Do you have a report for me Schnicer?" The elf nodded, "Sir the magic is already working it's magic on Bowan, he's shrunk a few inches and his skin is adjusting itself to fit our climate." Santa smiled, "Alright, thank you for the update Schnicer." The elf nodded and started towards the door before Santa stopped him, "Also Schnicer, I was just wondering if you've been laying into the cookies and eggnog?"

The elf looked back with a confused expression on his face, "A little sir, why do you ask?" Santa glanced back at his list quickly, "Oh no reason, I just thought that you looked a little bit... more filled out recently..." The elf raised his eyebrow, "Oh... well, goodbye sir." Santa waved away the elf.

As Bowan woke up his eyes slowly slid up to reveal bright green eyes, as he sat up a small smile spread across his face. "I... I feel really good... huh I haven't felt this good since I was a kid..." He muttered, as he jumped off his bed his clothes slid off of him, "Holy cow! I don't remember putting on such big clothing... I think it's time for me to make some new clothes!" He said cheerfully as he walked over to his drapes and ripped them off.

After twenty minutes of cutting and sewing Bowan was wearing a new wardrobe, "There we go, much better!" He said happily as he hopped up onto his bathroom counter, he turned around to show off his clothes. As he looked himself over he took on a confused look for a second, "Something seems wrong about this..." He struggled to think about what it was until he realized, "Oh! I forgot to smile!" He grinned wide as himself, his skin was a startlingly pale color for living in such a sunny place.

After hopping off of the counter Bowan walked into his living room and looked around, "You know, I think I need to practice wrapping gifts for tonight..." He muttered, a few minutes later he walked out of his bedroom with bed sheets. "Alright, now let's do this!" He said excitedly, after three hours he had was surrounded by boxes wrapped in bed sheets.

"This was great practice!" Bowan said happily, but then a moment later a frown once again inhabited his face. "Wait... what am I practicing for again?..." He muttered as he tried to remember, but then a moment later the thought passed away like it was nothing. He smiled as he saw the TV, "Ooo, I wonder if a Christmas show is on?" He hopped up onto his couch and turned on the television; he quickly flashed to a Christmas special marathon and started to watch it.

Santa pulled on his suit as the elves packed up the rest of the stuff, Schnicer ran up to him and tugged on his jacket and held up a paper to him. "Here you go Santa sir, this is the address to Bowan's house." Santa smiled and took it, "Thank you Schnicer, now why don't you take the rest of the night off with the rest of the elves?" The elf smiled and nodded then turned around and ran towards the exit doors.

As Santa got the last of his preparations done Rudolph approached him, "Excuse me Santa sir, before we do anything else I was wondering if I could pick someone up?" Santa looked at him, "Who is it Rudolph?" The Rudolph smiled broadly, "It's a new recruit sir, and I'm sure that not only will he do good on the sleigh." He bent in close, "I'm betting he'll be great in bed as well sir." Santa smiled, "Fine Rudolph, but the training is on you." The reindeer nodded as he went to go get harnessed up.

As midnight approached Bowan found himself getting antsy for some reason, as he glanced at the watch a strange excited sensation gathered up in his chest. Then at midnight a knock resonated at his door, almost like a spring he jumped up and ran to the door. He had to jump to open the door but he grinned as he saw who was waiting for him, "Santa!" He said excitedly, the giant of a man smiled down at the new elf.

"So you believe in me now do you Bowan?" Santa asked him, Bowan smiled and nodded excitedly. "I'm so sorry for not believing in you earlier Santa, I just want to work for you now." Santa nodded, "But before we can do that I have to take away that last little bit of human in you away." Bowan nodded and watched as Santa sprinkled a dust over him and shivered as it ran over his skin and shrunk him to the size of a true elf.

He then watched as the last of him memories of being a human washed away, after a few minutes he stood there an elf completed. Santa grinned, "Are you ready Bow?" The elf nodded excitedly, "Alright, well first then I have to separate Hooves and Rudolph before they get too exhausted." Santa muttered as they walked towards the sleigh.
