It was midnight in the city of water, Soleanna. The moon, in its full view, shine over the city, especially at the castle of Soleanna. Far from the castle was a mountain, and that mountain were some mysterious creatures lurking about. They were demons in the forms of dogs, birds, giant worms, and golems, and the one in charge of them was a mysterious hedgehog. It wasn't an ordinary hedgehog, however, as its body was sort of in a crystalline form, and it had demonic green eyes, while its irises were red, and it lacked a mouth.

Within the castle, in a room on the highest floor, slept the nineteen year old princess of Soleanna, Elise the Third. She was sleeping so peacefully; possibly having happy dreams, and it looked like nothing could wake her. However, there was a big booming sound that woke the princess, and out of curiosity, she wondered what it was, and where it came from. Downstairs in the castle, the very same demons that were on the mountain, were attacking the guards of the castle. The guards were putting up a fight, but were really useless in their struggle. A demon dog bit off one of the guards arms; leaving screaming pain as large amounts of blood gushed out. Another guard had his eyes ripped out by a demon bird. Another guard had his head bit off and eaten by a giant worm demon; making a fountain of blood gush out his neck. Another giant worm ripped through some other guards' stomachs; splitting them inhalf. By this time, the princes had came down the stairs, and to her horror, witnessed the guards and some maids being massacred. A demon golem came up to her; holding a ball made entirely of spikes.
"Aaaaaahhhhh !", the princess screamed. One of the guards heard this, and quickly rushed over to Elise. He stood between her and the demon golem; protecting her from the monster. "Don't worry. I'll protect you", he said nervously. "Just stay behind me." The guard tried with all his might to act brave as he guarded the princess, but unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen. The golem smashed the spiked ball down on the guard; crushing him to death, and some blood landing on Elise's face. The princess covered her mouth after the horror she just witness, and the golem raised its weapon up; ready to crush the princess. She wanted to scream and run, but couldn't as she was frozen with fear. The monster was about to kill her, until a voice stopped it.
"STOP !". The voice had came from the mysterious hedgehog; who was slowly walking towards the princess and the golem. "Don't lay a finger on her. I don't care what you do to the other residents of this castle; I'll personally take care of the princess." To Elise's surprise, the golem walked away from her; as if it understood the hedgehog. The princess was happy to be saved by the hedgehog, but at the same time was a little scared of him. She didn't know who he was, and after seeing him order that golem away, she wanted some answers.
"You, you ordered that monster and it listened to you", she started. "Are you controlling these monsters ?"
"Yes, yes I am", the hedgehog answered.
"Then why, why did you ordered these monsters to attack the castle ? Why did you order them to kill the innocents here ?"
"My, you certainly ask alot of questions, do you, Princess Elise the Third."
Elise was shocked that the hedgehog knew her. She was reluctant to, but decided to ask some more questions.
"W-who are you ? How do you know who I am ?"
"Who am I, you ask ? I'm Mephiles, Mephiles the Dark.", the hedgehog known as Mephiles answered. "And I know all about you, princess."
Elise was shocked hear what this Mephiles person told her. He somehow knew all about her. She was scared when the hedgehog came face to face with her. He raised one of his hands, as he was ready to hurt her. "You should have know reason to fear me", he said.

With the room cleared of the demons, the cat went to check up on the few survivors in the room.

"I'm Honey; where's Elise ?"
"The princess, she needs your help. Please, can you save her ?"
The cat known as Honey nodded her head as she knew what she had to do. She then suggested to the maid that she, along with the remaining guards, should evacuate and get somewhere safe. One the guards helped the maid up, and he and others left the castle, while Honey went off to find the princess. When she entered into a different room, she more demons; alot more than in the previous room, and they were slowly walking towards after they had noticed her.

Mephiles then conjured up his own ball of energy; a shadow ball, and launched it at Honey. The cat blocked the attack, and was covered in a cloud of smoke. When the smoke cleared up, Honey was surprised to Mephiles in close contact with her. The demon hedgehog grabbed the back of her head, and smash her onto the floor.
