A Werehog's Day

Out in a forested area was a house ontop a hill by a large beautiful ocean. The door on the house slowly creaked opened, and who appeared out was none other than Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic; he is the world's fastest hedgehog, the fastest thing alive, and also the world's greatest hero. Looking out at the beautiful scenery, the blue hedgehog took in a deep breath, and tapped his right foot. "Okay, Amy, I'm about to out for a run", called out.
The next to appear was the pink hedgehog, Amy. She and Sonic have been living together for some time ever since the blue hedgehog defeated the evil Dr. Robotnic for good. "Okay, Sonic, take as much time as you want on your run. Just be sure to be back; I have something special planned for the both of us", amy said.

The cloaked person pulled out a necklace and showed it to the hedgehog. The necklace had had a mysterious black jewel on it. When Sonic looked at it, he thought the necklace was the most dullest looking trinket ever. The hedgehog didn't want to upset the cloaked person, so he thanked the person, and calmly refused the offer of the necklace. The cloaked person, however, didn't take too kindly to this, and forcibly put the necklace around the hedgehog's neck, and quickly ran off. Sonic thought that what had just happened was weird, but he shrugged it off and went back to eating his chilidogs.
After finishing his chilidogs, Sonic went back to his running. As he was running, the hedgehog didn't notice the black jewel on the necklace had faintly glowed. Suddenly, Sonic started to feel a slight pain in his body, and stopped running. He held his body as he fell to his knees and was growling in pain. The black jewel gave off another faint glow, and Sonic's body was beginning to change. His body became furrier, his hair grew longer, his teeth grew sharper, and his hands and feet ripped through his gloves and shoes and turned into claws; he had become a werehog. "Sorry about that Tails, I guess I just lost my temper there. Maybe I better go get some help from someone else, see ya." Sonic was about to exit the room and out of the lab, but before he did, he took noticed of something. "Oh, before I go Tails, would you mind explaining what that thing is doing here", he said as he pointed at the Tails Doll on the table. "Oh that thing; I decided to work on it say it could help us later in the future, and maybe put a stop to the curse that this thing is rumored to have."
Sonic then arrived at the home of Knuckles the Echidna in the Mystic Ruins; he was hoping that Knuckles could possibly use his master emerald to change himself back. "Hey there, knuckles !", the hedgehog greeted. "Woah, Sonic, is that you ?", the echidna asked in surprised. "Wow, you've sure changed alot since I last saw you; you're like some sort of werehog." "Woah, shadow, hold your weapon, it's me, Sonic." "I know, you just ruined my consentration as I was meditating", Shadow spoke back. "Well, just calm down; I really need your help here. I don't know how it happened, but I somehow transformed into this form." Shadow was skeptical after hearing all that Sonic had explained to him, until he took notice of the necklace around Sonic's neck. He was specifically looking at the black jewel on the necklace, and was getting a dark vibe from it. Without hesitation, Shadow pulled the trigger on his pistol and shot at the black jewel; the force of the shot also knocked Sonic to the ground, but also destroying the jewel.
