This is Ignite a request I got, that I wanted to write for them.
I hope you enjoy it. this poem is about the instant connection some people get... and they feel like they belong to each other... its a rare thing and I think something like what is in this poem should be cherished and looked after.
so if you every find someone like that do not let them slip away.
Our eyes meet from across the room
The spark ignited and made our hearts explode
A instant connection to who we are
Making us wonder what is to come
What is it that makes us feel this way
What is it that makes our hearts quicken
Lust
Love
Everything is there
Calling to us
Tempting us
To see what can become
Can this seed bloom into something more
Can these feelings
Push us together
To explore what is between us
To find love once more.
To feel the heat of one another's love
You walk across the room and grab me
Wrapping me in your arms
You tell me that you like me
And you want to begin,
Something between us
It started with a spark
But that spark ignited
And now
Here we are.
In each other's arms
You make everything perfect
Like nothing else matters
You make it feel like
We belong
We belong together
And that's all I want
To be with you and explore this new
Reality.
