A request from brundlefly over on FA.

An asshole at a high school treats the whole school as his kingdom but it's time for him to become far more self conscious, and accepting.

This story by far has to be one of my most gradual transformations, I hope I kept the pacing at a good level through the whole story.

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all thought of the story.

The doors to the school flew open and slammed against the walls, the large shadow of a burly bear filled the doorway. Paul the school's resident asshole strode in through the doors, as he walked in he grinned as he walked past his fellow students. He slammed the smaller students into surrounding lockers, his eyes flashed as he saw a lioness leaning against a locker talking to a friend.

"Melanie!" Paul shouted down the hall, the lioness smiled as she saw him and waved goodbye to her friend. She ran over to the bear and hugged his arm, "Hi honey." The bear grinned down at the lithe figure of his girlfriend his eyes briefly hanging over her cleavage, "My face is up here Paul." Melanie said, he looked into her eyes and smiled a cocky smile. "How was the thingy last night honey?" He asked, she grimaced as he forgot what she had been to.

"It was my orchestra concert Paul, which you never attended!" Melanie pushed into his jokingly, Paul heavily sighed in irritation. "Baby you know I don't care about any of those shit things..." He then lifted her up in his big arms and grinned at her, "I only want you babe..." She blushed and turned her head to the side, "You're a pretty blunt bear, you know that right?" He grinned savagely and kissed her and held that position for a while.

As they kissed Paul noticed a person walking by and quickly cut off the kiss, he set the lioness down and quickly followed the small form and grabbed him by the shoulder. "Hey "Susanne" how has your day been going bitch?" The small wolf hesitantly turned around to look the giant bear in the face. "What do you want today Paul?" The bear picked him up by the scruff of his neck, "What I want you to do is take this and do it." Paul shoved all of his homework into the wolves hands and dropped him, "Now excuse me faggot, I have a girlfriend to get back to."

Paul pushed through a throng of students and went back to his girlfriend, as he walked towards her he noticed a hot vixen walking by and he gawked at her. He grinned savagely and turned to his girlfriend who was smiling flirtatiously at him, "Sorry Melanie, but we're through." Her mouth dropped open in shock, "W... what?!" She asked in shock, Paul started to walk away from her and finished up the rest of the conversation in distance. "Sorry babe but you're honestly not that good of a kisser."

Melanie broke down crying with her friends running over to comfort her, as Paul caught up with the vixen he smiled his best nice guy smile. "Hello I'm Paul and you are?" The vixen giggled in excitement at talking to him, as the pair walked down the hall a familiar wolf watched them from the shadows. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lucas walked frustrated into his house, "Dammit!" He shouted as he threw his backpack to the floor, his older brother opened his door and peeked out to see his younger brother. "Is something wrong Lucas?" The wolf sat down and leaned against the wall, "I don't know Jeremy, there's this guy..." His big brother's eyes lit up, "Oh did you finally find a boyfriend?! I've been so excited for you to find one, is he cute?" Lucas glared at him, "No Jeremy I haven't found a boyfriend yet, there's an asshole at my school named Paul."

His older brother eye's narrowed, "Paul Devins?" Lucas slowly nods in confusion, "How do you know him?" Jeremy held one finger up and slipped his head back into his room, after a moment of mumbling in the room his older brother walked out in a pair of shorts and was holding a picture. "Paul Devins was one of the kids I was tutoring two years ago, he was a little shit then too. I was only just able to help him pass his classes, every tutoring session I found him making out with another girl."

As he was talking an irritated looking panther poked his head out the door, "Jeremy honey why did you leave?" Jeremy grinned apologetically at the panther, "Sorry Patrick, I'll be back in a moment I'm helping out my brother." Patrick looked down and smiled when he saw Lucas, "Oh sorry, I didn't realize. I'll wait for you, have a great day Lucas." Patrick waved and slipped back into his room and Lucas glanced at his brother, "Bringing your boyfriend home today?"

Jeremy pursed his lips, "Mom and dad aren't going to be home until seven thirty, I didn't want to be bored so..." Lucas grinned, "Don't go any further big bro, I understand." Jeremy flashed a smile before looking at the picture again, "So what has Paul been doing?" Lucas grabbed his backpack and pulled out all of Paul's books, Jeremy looked them over and frowned. "That asswipe has been giving you all of his homework?!" He practically shouted Lucas nodded somberly.

Jeremy took a deep breath and pondered it for a second, "I think I may have a cure to your problem, but you're going to have to promise me not to tell anyone." Lucas nodded and Jeremy nodded seriously back, the older wolf walked into his bedroom and returned a few seconds later with a wristwatch. He handed it to Lucas who looked it over with a confused expression on his face, "How is this supposed to solve my problem?"

Jeremy held up a finger and shut his bedroom door and slid back down to his brother, "I know that this looks like an ordinary wristwatch but this is actually a hypnotizing device." Lucas glanced at his brother incredulously, "A hypnotizing device, seriously Jeremy? You believe in all of that crap?" Jeremy smiled, "Oh I believe it alright, you see Patrick used to be as homophobic as a catholic priest and as much of an ass as any jock."

Lucas's gaped at his brother, "Seriously?! Patrick is one of the nicest guys I know..." Jeremy smiled and nodded, "This thing can change a person's personality extremely easily, all they have to do it wear it." Lucas gawked at the watch and then paused, "But wouldn't of Patrick's family noticed him changing like that?" Jeremy nodded, "They did, they thought that something was wrong so they were planning to take him to a psychiatrist."

Jeremy settled into a more comfortable position, "But they were never able to find him." Lucas glanced at his brother in confusion, "They weren't?" Jeremy shook his head and winked slyly, "You see the watch changes more than just your mind, it changes what you look like. Patrick used to be a big strong badger, but the watch made him as he is and the best part of all is that he can't remember ever being a badger."

Lucas gaped in astonishment, "Isn't that illegal?" Jeremy motioned towards the door, "Does Patrick seem like he's hurt? Honestly he's happier now than he ever was as a straight jock, I'm pretty sure he's better in bed too." Lucas blushed, "That's between you and him bro." Jeremy laughed and stood up and patted Lucas on the shoulder, "Just get Paul to put that watch on and watch as he changes." Lucas glanced at it and then back up to his brother, "Do I have to program it or something?"

Jeremy nodded and stood beside him and pointed to a button on the side, "Press this and speak into it clearly documenting a series of instructions. As the watch ticks it will send small impulses into Paul's nerves and it will send the messages directly to his brain." Lucas smiled and thanked his brother, Jeremy walked into the room and gasped in surprise as a shape jumped onto him and pushed him to the ground and the door slowly closed. Lucas heard Patrick's voice from behind the door, "Now where were we my big wolf?"

Lucas smiled and walked away looking at the watch and pondering the instructions he was going to relay.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paul smiled as he saw the small wolf walking towards him with an irritated expression on his face, "Oh there you are "Susan" I was worried that you had gotten lost on the way kissing your boyfriend." The bear laughed obnoxiously as if he had told the best joke in the world, his nearby friends did likewise to compliment him. "Here's your shit Paul." The wolf shoved all of the books into the bear's hands and walked away in irritation.
Paul chuckled and looked down at the stuff in his hand, as he flipped through all of the books to make sure the homework was in them he noticed a slight bulge in one of the books. He opened it up to find a watch wedged in between the pages, "Oh shit guys, look what the fag forgot." They all laughed as he slipped the watch onto his wrist and he admired it, "For how much of a fag he is I'll have to give it to him, he has good taste in watches."
Paul laughed along with his friends as the bell rang, he watched as all of the other students walked past him and he tripped a few up. He and his friends sneaked into the auditorium to ditch class, as they heard the second bell ring they all relaxed and all started to joke around. During their conversation Paul noticed that the watch wasn't running, he looked over it and noticed that a button was pressed out and he pressed it in and the watch started up.
As the time passed by Paul started to get an odd feeling, after a while he excused himself from the group and sneaked into the bathroom across the hall. The bear walked up to the sink and poured some water into his hands and splashed himself a few times, he glanced up to admire himself. Though the years of high school he had gotten multiple piercings just to piss off his parents, he had three rings hanging off of his left ear and a piercing through his tongue.
The bear's hair was cut short on top; Paul had recently dyed it black to show off his nice short hair. He smiled as he ran his hand across his face, "Damn I look good..." He muttered, as he admired himself he had an odd thought. "Maybe... I should go see what those idiots in my class are up to..." He nodded, "I'll just go check in on them..." He walked down the hallway loudly and stopped to get into his locker, in the whole school year he had only visited the class once. As he was about to close the locker he hesitated and grabbed his bag, "I guess it can't hurt to have this with me, if any teacher sees me then they'll just think that I'm a late student..."
Paul glanced down at his paper to check the classroom number; he looked up to see his homeroom. Before he could stop himself he found himself opening the door and walked into the classroom, everyone in the room glanced up to see him and gaped including the teacher. "Paul Devins?! I didn't think I'd see you in here since the first day of school..." Paul tried to say something but he found himself out of words and then he found himself uttering words he would usually never say, "I... I wanted to come to class today..."
The teacher floundered for a second before motioning towards a seat, "W... well there's an open seat if you'd like to take it." Paul curtly nodded and flopped into the chair and looked around to see everyone looking at him and he snarled angrily, "What are you looking at?!" Everyone quickly looked back to the notebooks on their desks, Paul watched as the teacher started his lesson and he reach over and opened up his backpack.
The bear pushed back all of the trash in the bag and pulled out a brand new notebook and grabbed a pencil, he cracked it open and glanced blankly at the paper. He hadn't written seriously for a long time, he tried to write in the book but found that his writing was completely illegible. Paul gave up and just paid attention to the teacher.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lucas heard the rumors right as school ended, "Hey did you guys hear, that asshole Paul actually went to class today." Gasps of shock came from the group, Lucas had to hide his wolfish grin. He felt a familiar hand grab him on the shoulder; he glanced over to see a familiar watch and silently sighed. "I guess a total change on the first day is a bit of wishful thinking..." He muttered as he turned around to see a familiar bear's mug, "What is it Paul?"

The bear hoisted some books out of his bag and shoved them into his face, "You know the routine half-pint." Lucas pulled the books out of the bear's clutches and started to walk away before he heard Paul call after him, "Oh yeah, thanks for the watch faggot!" Lucas took a deep breath and continued to walk on without remarking, "Be patient Lucas..." He glanced back to see the bear kissing a vixen, "Enjoy that girl Paul... soon it'll be your last..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucas returned home twenty minutes later after driving to his house, he walked in and dumped off his own bags. As the wolf slipped into the kitchen he walked in on his brother and Patrick eating spaghetti, "Hey Jeremy, Patrick mom and dad not home again?" Jeremy shook his head, "They're working overtime tonight." Lucas slipped into a chair at the table and served himself some food, Patrick excused himself for the bathroom and Jeremy glanced at Lucas.
"How's the watch working?" Lucas smiled, "Well Paul for the first time actually attended class instead of sending someone to get the work for him." Jeremy smiled and nodded in satisfaction, "Well if the watch works like it did for Patrick then it'll take two more days for the whole transformation to progress." Lucas sighed, "Really that long?" Jeremy smiled and patted his little brother's hand, "Just be patient, now I have to ask." Lucas glanced up at his brother, "Do you have a boyfriend yet? Seriously, you're one of the sweetest people you should really have one by now."
Lucas laughed and swatted his brother, "You know I'll find one in my own time." Jeremy huffed and smiled as Patrick walked in and sat down, Jeremy glanced at his brother and flashed him a knowing smile. "It'll only take two days, don't worry." Patrick glanced at the pair in confusion but shrugged and continued to eat.
The next day Paul yawned as he woke up, he stumbled over the clothes on his floor on the way to the bathroom. "Maybe I should clean up my room today..." He muttered as walked into the bathroom, he went to bathroom and washed his hands. He glanced up and smiled as he looked at his face again, but this time he had an inkling that something was wrong.
The bear reached up and pulled out the ear rings, he then pulled out the tongue stud and rubbed his tongue as he finally got it out. "These things look awful..." He muttered to himself, he walked out and looked around his room and nearly gagged at the smell. "What is that awful smell?" He then realized that it was all of the clothes that had formed a layer on the floor, "I think it's about time to clean up." The bear for the first time since entering high school cleaned up his room by himself; he even grabbed an unopened can of air freshener and sprayed it into the air.
After thirty minutes of cleaning his room was cleaner than it had been for a long time, he took a deep breath and smiled. "Nice and clean." Paul got dressed in his usual outfit and walked out of his room, as he walked down he put the laundry basket with all of his clothes in it in front of his door. His mom gasped as she saw the basket and looked up at him in surprise, "P... Paul you cleaned your room?!" Paul shrugged, "It was getting dirty..."
He glanced at his watch which he had absentmindedly forgotten to take off the previous night and noticed that he would be late if he stayed, "Oh I'm going to be late, bye mom." He ran out the door, his mother practically fainted as she glanced into her son's room to see that the room was immaculate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lucas was about to enter his room when he was called, "Hey Lucas!" He jumped in surprise at two things, one at the voice shouting and second that the owner of the voice had called him by his actual name. He turned around to see Paul running towards him, "I need my books!" Paul called, Lucas pulled out the books and handed them over. "Thanks man, I really appreciate it." Paul's face twisted up in an odd way as he realized that he had thanked him, he walked away quickly in confusion.

Lucas grinned as he noticed that the bears hair was now its natural brown color no longer dyed, he walked into his classroom in an exceptionally good mood.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paul walked past the auditorium and heard the voices of his friends, he thought for a moment about hanging out with them but then found the idea ludicrous and that he would miss class. He walked through the doors of the classroom as the bell was ringing, the teacher of the class gawked at him. "Oh... Mr. Devin, I heard a rumor that you were coming to class now but I'll admit that I didn't believe it. May I ask what brought about this change of heart?" Paul scratched the back of his head, "I dunno... I just wanted to come back all of a sudden."
The teacher nodded for a second and pointed to a chair, "Well if you are really here to learn than please take a seat." Paul slid into the chair and pulled out a notepad, he found himself nervously fingering the pencil in his hand anxious about his writing. He saw the teacher start to write up on the board and he took a deep breath and started to write, as he wrote he noticed that his writing had become better than it had been the previous day.
The bear found himself smiling proudly as if he had achieved the highest honor in all of the world, he smacked himself and continued to write down the notes. During the class everyone would glance at him with confusion written across their face, as the class progressed Paul found himself actually answering questions. At the end of class the teacher held him back for a moment, "Whatever's gotten into you Paul I hope it continues, when you apply yourself you truly are a smart student."
Usually at a comment like this Paul would've made a witty comeback but instead he grinned, "Thank you sir." The bear walked out of the class with a small smile on his face as he walked towards his next class.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lucas was humming a cheery tune as he opened the door to his car and threw his bag in, as he was about to jump in a hand stopped him by lightly grabbing him by the arm. He nervously looked up to see a rare sight, Paul grinning widely without any malice. "Hey Lucas I just wanted to thank you for doing all of my homework, I also wanted to apologize for making you do all of my homework." Paul held out the wristwatch, "And I wanted to give you back your watch, I should never of stolen."

Lucas floundered a second before pushing the watch back into the bear's hand, "Why don't you keep it Paul? As a sign of good faith?" Paul cocked his head, "Good faith?" Lucas smiled, "That we'll be good friends from now on." Paul slowly nodded, "Alright, friends it is then." The bear smiled and waved as he walked away leaving the wolf alone. Lucas fell into his car right on top of his tail, "Ouch..." He muttered as he pulled his tail out from underneath him, "Well... I guess Jeremy was right. I'm surprised how much two days has already done for him..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucas walked into his house to find his brother and Patrick watching wrestling with Lucas's dad, Patrick glanced over and smiled when he saw Lucas. "Hey there little wolf, why don't you come sit with us?" Lucas glanced at the TV to see the men holding each other in tight poses, he could already tell that his dad and his brother and boyfriend were watching for completely different reasons. He could tell because he knew that if he were watching he would be watching for the same reason as his brother.
"Nah I think I'm fine, but I did want to speak to Jeremy." Jeremy glanced over and he nodded in acknowledgement, "This wolf needed to take a little piss break anyways..." He stood up and walked over to Lucas and the pair walked into the hallway. "So what's happening with Paul?" Lucas smiled broadly, "In just two days he's like a completely different person, I honestly couldn't see him changing anymore."
Jeremy smiled, "Oh believe me, you'd be surprised how many changes can come in the last day." Lucas nodded and started to walk away when Jeremy called him back, "Hey Lucas don't forget." The younger brother looked back, "What?" Jeremy had a huge smile on his face, "You'd better bring a boyfriend back soon." Jeremy glared at his older sibling, "I will kill you..." Lucas walked upstairs in irritation as he heard his brother laughing.
Paul pulled his head off of his desk as he woke up, he glanced down to see the homework he had just finished up. He glanced at his watch and saw that he had an hour before he had to go to school, he stretched out and scratched his head. He grabbed his phone and checked to see if he had gotten any texts, he had a text from his new girlfriend. "Hey honey, I can't wait to see you. <3" He read off, two days ago he would've done anything to kiss the vixen but now for some reason he had no interest in her whatsoever.
He just assumed that it was the one girl and glanced through all of the pictures of his ex's but none of them interested him, in fact the pictures that he was getting hung up on was of all of the guys pictures. Paul blushed as he realized what he was thinking but he didn't shut it down like he would've before, the bear took some time to think it over and accepted it. He had been lying to himself this whole time, he was actually a gay bear not a straight one. The first thing he had to do was break it off with his girlfriend, but instead of doing it over the phone like he would usually do he decided to go to her and explain it.
Paul walked into the bathroom and after using the facilities he washed his hands and glanced up into the mirror and smiled at the reflection and then he frowned as he noticed some small differences about himself. He noticed some black spots surrounded by a light yellow color, usually this might cause some suspicion but he just pushed it back as his fur getting bleached. But the thing that he couldn't completely answer was how his body had become remarkably smaller in the night; he seemed to have lost a lot of body mass.
Paul sighed and decided to try to explain it later, he went into his closet and tried to find some clothes but found that nothing seemed to fit him. He then remembered that he had a friend who was about the same size as him, he picked up his phone and dialed the number and waited for a second before a familiar voice come on over the phone. "Hello?" Paul sighed in relief he was awake at this time, "Hey Lucas, sorry for calling so early but I was wondering if you could bring some clothes over to school today." It took Lucas a second to respond, "Sorry, is this Paul?"
Paul giggled, "Yeah who else would it be?" Lucas seemed to be surprised, "It... it's nothing, yeah I can bring over some clothes if you need them." Paul smiled broadly, "Thank you, I'll see you at school." Lucas answered more confidentially this time, "No problem. I'll see you there."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When Lucas saw Paul he had to do a double take, the bear had changed majorly physically. He had shrunk down to Lucas's height in a single night, "Hey there Lucas, did you bring the clothes?" Lucas was surprised as he answered, "Y... yeah, here it is." Paul smiled and took the bag, "Thanks, one second." Paul ran into the bathroom to get changed, Lucas was reflecting as he waited. "I can't believe it... he's changed so much so quickly..." He muttered, then as a thought passed through his head he was glad for his fur as he felt himself blush harshly.

"Not only that but... he's kinda cute this way..." Paul walked out and looked at his feet shyly, "What do you think?" Lucas gaped, black circles and yellow were stretching out over Paul's arms. Paul looked nervously at him, "Is something wrong?" Lucas quickly shook his head, "No it's nothing, you look great!" Paul smiled, "Thanks..."

The pair heard the bell ring and they both had to head off towards their own classrooms, "Well I guess I'll see you later then Lucas." Paul said, he then ran off to his classroom. Lucas smacked himself, "Remember, just a little bit longer..." He muttered as he walked off towards class.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Paul walked into his classroom the teacher did a double take at him, "Do you have a note for somebody?" He asked, Paul looked up in confusion but before he could answer he suddenly forgot why he was there. "Oh... I um... I think I came to the wrong class; I was looking for the office. I'm enrolling here..." The teacher smiled, "Let me guide you there." They started to walk towards the office when suddenly Paul felt sick and he had to run into the bathroom.
After he threw up he walked back to the sinks to wash off his face, as he looked up he smiled as he looked into the face of a cheetah. "I hope I get into the class with Lucas, it's awesome that we get to attend high school together." He blushed as he thought about his best friend, "Well I'd better get going..." He muttered and walked out to meet the teacher to talk to the principal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As Lucas listened to his teacher the class was interrupted by a teacher followed by a student, "Excuse me class, welcome Paul Dekem to your class." The teacher introduced him, Lucas felt a smile come onto his face as he realized who it was. "Now where should you sit..." The teacher started to look around when Lucas rose his hand, "He can sit by me sir."

Paul's eyes lit up as he saw his friend, the teacher nodded. "Alright, Paul you can go sit by Lucas." The cheetah ran back and sat by his best friend, as class continued Paul nervously wrote his notes as he noticed a note on the edge of his desk. He read it over and blushed as he read it through and looked at Lucas. "Are you sure...?" He whispered, Lukas smiled and nodded. Paul grinned and nodded excitedly, "Yes!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jeremy and Patrick were cooking as they heard the front door open, "I'm home." Lucas's voice filled the kitchen, "Welcome home Lucas." Jeremy called out, his eyes widened as he noticed another boy followed Lucas in. "Who is this Lucas?" Lucas smiled nervously, "This is Paul." Jeremy's eyes widened but before he could say anything the next thing that Lucas surprised him even more so, "My boyfriend."
Jeremy and Patrick squealed in excitement, "That's great, I'm so happy for you two." Paul smiled nervously, "Thanks for letting me come in." Jeremy smiled, "It's alright, now why don't you two sit down. The food is going to be done in a few minutes." Paul and Lucas smiled as they sat next to each other; Patrick and Jeremy sat down opposite them and smiled. "Oh Paul your name reminds me of this punk I used to know, his name was Paul Devins. Do you know him by any chance?" Jeremy asked inquisitively.
Paul looked up and his cat eyes slitted, "No sir, though I heard about him from kids at school. I heard he was a real jerk." Jeremy looked at Lucas and winked then whispered, "Told you it works." Lucas smiled and nodded and reached down and held Paul's hand under the table.
