An Incubus Bull returns home one night.. just two late to prevent horrors. And worse.. witnessing only the aftermath.

This is the start of an Idea thats started running in my head since starting to talk with my best friend, Arbon, again after nearly a year. Its the origan story of my furson's incubus clan leader.

If I get good comment and help refining my writting maybe i'll actually write it out fully.

This I should note was only a first attempt. I'm super rusty at writting. but maybe with help I could be better.

Anyways its based in a would inspired by DMFA. a webcomic found here http://missmab.com/

Prologue

Somethings stay with you no matter how many years pass you by. Seasons come and go and we watch as not only our story unfolds but the stories of everyone close to us. Yet still.. some things remain so rooted in our minds that even time can't fade the memories.. or heal the scars.

He'd been the son of a simple farm maiden who always said he simply.. had a fling with an adventure who wandered out into town.. and out just as fast. thou eventually the truth had come out.. he was an incubus. As such when his mother learned of it. she sent her son to the school that had be made for cubi.. to protect him from the less sympathetic town nearby as well as teach him how his powers worked.

The night air was crisp and refreshing as the steady clop clop of hooves sounded on the pave-stone path. The clouds few that they were off in the distance allowing a stunning view of the full moon and countless stars to play host to the bulls eyes as he strode along.

Headed home that night after so long away his wings gave a soft flap the feathers rustling on each of the four appendages. The smaller wings behind his horns remaining spread just a moment longer then the large set on his back as He started to near his families lands. The moonlight playing over his deep reddish brown coat that covered him head to hooves save a few splotches of white near his left eye. and the hidden at now tufts of black in his pants. His right eye a gleaming yellow gold that glowed in the night as his left burned a fiery red.

However the calm he felt all too quickly melted as he neared the sign with its rune like crest that had been his mothers for so long. the gemstone like shape which sproted legs and wings seeming almost like a head-less bat. or so he had always felt..

Smoke... there was smoke in the air a plum of it thickly rising in the direction of the farm houses.

Panic set in and dropping his back the hoof-beats grew in speed as he started running.. cursing his choice not to have a warp Aci familiar. Annoying as the childish shadow beings could be.. the power they had to teleport would have speed his travel by far.

A scream cut the night air yelling out names.. "MoooMM! Uncle Joal... Grand pa!" it actually took Yedmitchi several seconds before he realized it was him shouting as the burned ruined farmhouse came into view..

Smoldering wood, smashed and broken.. and Chared bodies greeted his stinging eyes as he searched frantic.. The devastation impaling itself into his minds eye as he reached out mental.. hoping for signs of life.

It was as he touched the first corpse, a young female with brown splotches, thou that terror overwhelmed him..

His cousin Mary.. was not simply dead. Tears coming to his eyes he had felt that emptiness before.

The classes he had taken at Saia. The lessons that had occurred haunting him as he felt the hollow husk and snapped away desperately looking at each body hopping for something.. anything...

Thou only one answer greeted him for minutes as he called out in despair and panic.. names of siblings.. cousins, his mother and grand parents..

There was no answer for several minutes.. their souls.. he knew.. had been devoured. Still he clung to hope.. searching till.. he felt just a pinprick. A small beat of a heart and a tingle of emotion.. sorrow.. but they were alive in the crushed remains of the living house. Small boards and timbers covered the pulse however. Grunting hard the bovine incubus braced his hooves and shoved on the fallen wood, his back wings seeming almost to melt as they formed his tentacles pushing the solid mess of wood as he strove to pulls out the body of what may well be the only survivor of the night.

What he discovered thou..was small comfort. The eyes of his mother. The woman who accepted everything about him with only love.. was pulled out.. bleeding from a large shaft of wood that still impaled her.

"MOM!" with a grunt he pulled his mother from the rubble a glow already springing around his beefy hands as he tried to recall his classes on healing magic "oh gods what happened.. I.. I'll heal you"

"Ye.. yed..I'm glad to see you but.. I" the cow coughed blood leaking from her maw "n..no.. save your strength" another cough as she tried to pull her mind back,, her son was here.. he needed to know "I.. I'm beyond healing my sweet boy.. you.. must listen.."

Panic tinging his voice as he laid her down Yed nearly flopped over the dieing woman as he continued to try and heal her. pulling out various splinters " w..ho.."

"Who did thi... this.. we were.. we were attacked.. demons with.. scales.. they broth fire and their strength.. they were demons but.. they.. they ate them"the silver haired cow started coughing again

"mom please just stay with me don't give up"

"They ate them.. I hid but I heard them.. laughing as they devoured th..their.. souls.. they left no-one.. claiming it as their.." a shuddering breath and a hiss paused her telling as Yed pulled a large piece of wood out of her hip.. hands bloody already as he strained to save her." claiming their right to eat any part they wished of one who resisted dragons."

This gave the bull pause cutting his panic if only a moment " dragons but you said.."

They were more then demons.. they.. they.. They were both.. They had only come to pillage us.. but ..but dad.. he tried to fight.. and.. they killed everyone..." tears spilling down he cheek.. the final ones she's have to give.

"That's.. mom please.. I have to get you treated... don't talk so mu.." a sharp huff cutting him off

"I know I'm going to die ..I need.. I need you to listen hun." the finality with which the old woman spoke finally stopping Yed's panicked attempts to heal her.

"Yed..mit chi.. know this.. above all else.." she stared at him her fading eyes locking with his.. and all three.. her mind, lips and heart at once.. spoke.

"You are loved my pride"

Kneeling there.. shocked by the death and overwhelmed.. all Yedmitchi could do as he watched her eyes dull and fade the spark of life fleeing.. was to cry..

And get ready to bury his dead.

It wouldn't be till after that he would seek Justice.
