Nice Guy

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shinning, there was a cool light breeze, and the scenery was perfect. Gently rolling hills dominated the landscape and tall stalks of green grass grew as far as the eye could see. When the wind was blowing the grass would sway gently in the wind. It made it seem like one vast green ocean. The only thing that looked out of the ordinary were nine people out on a hike as well as two not so happy horses carrying much more weight than they were used to. Only one of those people seemed to care about how the horses were doing. That was a young man of slightly above average height and spiky blond hair named Will Bradford. "Hey guys, you really shouldn't have loaded the horses down with so much weight. They're strong, but they're not that strong," Will said.

"They don't mind. Besides, you don't expect us to carry all that crap do you Will, especially after you managed to drag us all out here in the first place?" asked Bobby Cantrell. Bobby was a tall and slightly overweight 21 year old with short black hair. Everyone else in the group voiced their agreement with Bobby. Will had expected that reaction from them. He was thoroughly convinced that everyone here was allergic to anything that resembled work. They also had little to no concern for anyone else, be they a fellow human being or an overburdened horse. The only difference between people and animals to these guys was just how open they were in their mistreatment of one or the other. What bothered Will was that they never even noticed how poorly they behaved.

Will usually cut them some slack because he was a pretty nice guy. After recent events they had reached his limits though. His companions had been over at his house one day and distracted him with one of their little pranks. While Will had been distracted they had made a few small alterations to a project he had been working on at home. Will cursed himself for not checking what they might have been doing to his stuff while he had been away from it. They still had no idea just how bad things had gone at the lab when his project had been tested. Will ended up losing his job and he was lucky to be alive. He had been able to take something with him before he was booted out of the building though. That something was in one of the horses' saddle bags waiting to let some people get a taste of their own medicine.

"I expect you guys not to kill my horses. They haven't made me lose any well paying jobs lately," said Will.

"You're still mad about that. We said we were sorry already. What more do you want?" asked Tom, a tall brown haired individual. That was all they had done too. They expected things to be just fine after just saying sorry. None of them had even bothered to ask what had actually happened. It had only angered Will when they talked to him like he was the one that had done something wrong when he brought it up. That is just how they were though. Will wondered how it was that some people managed to become friends with people they hate. It was a miracle that Will had managed to keep from hurting these guys so far, but that was about to change.

When it was about midday Will had the group stop to rest. It was amazing to see how tired they were when they barely had to carry anything. He looked over his supposed friends and saw that they were all ready to fall over. Jason, a blond and extremely skinny man had his hands on his knees. Besides Will, he was the oldest member of the group. Mike, who was as fat as Jason was skinny, stood right next to Jason panting pretty hard. Paul did not seem like he was doing that badly, but Will was waiting for him to fall over at any moment. It was not that Will thought Paul was hiding just how tired he was, it was that Paul was one of the clumsiest people Will had ever met. Dan, the youngest member of the group at age 20 was leaning over and his long brown hair was covering his face. He really needed to get out more often. Marcus' short black hair was not able to cover his face and Will was able to clearly see just how tired he was. Finally, there was Rob, a short blond guy that spent a lot of his time making fun of Tom who was more than willing to make fun of how short Rob was.

Will had not actually expected all of them to come out here with him. It had taken close to a month of coaxing them into doing this. At first he thought that they might be doing this because they felt bad about making him lose his job. It did not take long for him to realize they had just come along to get him to shut up about it and they had seriously underestimated how much they would have to walk. Will was willing to deal with their complaints though. This was the best way to get them in the middle of nowhere. He did not want to have any witnesses for what was about to happen.

Most of the guys had already drunk what they had brought with them, just like Will had expected them to. He walked over to one of the horses and pulled some of his extra water, or at least what looked like water, from one of the saddlebags. No one was the least bit suspicious of Will. He was the one that was normally prepared and always the one that made sure their short sightedness never brought them any harm. Will tried not to smile in satisfaction as they all gulped down what was given to them. For the most part what they were drinking was ordinary water. But, Will had also added the product of their own disastrous prank. He also made sure one of the horses, a chestnut stallion with a white diamond on his head as well as a black mane and tail, received a sip of the special water. The other horse received a normal drink of water.

It only took a few minutes for the chestnut stallion and Will's companions to fall asleep. They had all thought they were just tired and they were too woozy to get suspicious about why they were falling asleep at the same time. Will took the opportunity to strip the horses of their burden. The horse that he did not give the special water to was only left with its saddle and a single bag while the stallion was completely stripped. Then Will took out a pen and paper and scribbled a quick not for his unconscious friends to pick up and read when they woke up a few minutes from now. When that was done Will strode off with the still conscious horse while whistling to himself.

"What the hell is going on?" Tom asked as he started to come to. His head was throbbing and there was something strange his sleep fogged mind could not seem to determine. He looked around and saw that all the others were also just starting to wake up as well. Will appeared to be missing though. That was the least of Tom's concerns at the moment. He could not tell where he was at the moment. When he had fallen asleep he had been in the middle of a field, but now he was in the middle of some weird forest. This tall thin vegetation towered above him and he could not imagine how he got here. He also noticed that he was completely nude and that he was sitting right next to a huge version of his own clothing. Fortunately, there was a set of proper sized clothing not to far from him that he could and did get dressed in.

Something managed to catch Tom's eye in the distance. Tom rubbed his eyes because he thought he was hallucinating. What had caught his attention looked like a massive sheet of paper. When it did not disappear Tom walked up to it to see what was written on it. He thought it might be some sort of weird billboard until he read what was on it.

Dear Jerks,

I've finally had it with you guys. Those clothes you found are going to be the last thing you are ever going to get from me. That last little prank of yours nearly got me killed. Now you are going to have to deal with the product of that prank.

You might be wondering what those tall plants are or why you are in a forest. Well guess what? Those alterations you made to my project wound up creating a substance that can shrink humans. You are still in the field you fell asleep in but you are just a fraction of your normal size and you will remain that way for the next 70 to 80 hours unless you manage to get to the antidote I will be leaving for you. You should be able to reach it by the end of the day if you can push yourselves for once in your worthless lives.

Oh, but this won't be a simple nature hike. You see, what shrunk you has a strange effect on animals. It seems to anthropomorphize them instead of shrinking them. If you don't know what that means let me tell you. It gives animals human-like features. The animals are even able to talk after being anthropomorphized. But, that's not all it does. It also makes the animal extremely aggressive and horny.

By the way, that chestnut horse I gave this stuff to should still be sleeping off his transformation by the time you read this. He, his name is Mavis if you don't remember, will remember how you guys treated him and he won't be very happy. I suggest you start making your way west to my antidote before he catches you because if he does catch you your life won't last much longer. Well, unless he decides to toy with you for a while.

Your Friend,

Will Bradford

P.S. I guess I'm not such a nice guy after all. Now, you better stop reading this and start running. That horse has a really good sense of smell and he will be able to easily track you despite your small stature.

Tom thought this must be some type of joke. That letter sounded unbelievable. But how would Will be able to write such a huge letter and drag it out here without anybody noticing. Then he finally saw it. In the distance there was what looked like a large brown hill. Tom did not go out on nature hikes, but he was able to tell the difference between brown dirt and brown fur. The creature Tom was staring at looked absolutely huge compared to him. Tom thought this might still be some elaborate prank for a few more seconds, and then he decided that he had better listen to the piece of paper. That hill sounded like it was breathing. Tom really wished that he could remember which direction west was in.

"Hey, any of you know which way west is?" Tom heard Rob ask. Nobody spoke up to say yes.

"Come on somebody here has to have a compass or something," said Paul.

"Will was carrying one," said Bobby, "so I just put mine in one of the saddle bags."

"Great, so not only have we been drugged, we don't know how to get to the antidote," Marcus said.

"One horse couldn't carry all those bags so Will must have left them behind. All we have to do is find the right bag and we can be well on our way to getting out of here," Jason stated. At least somebody was thinking things through. Tom had thought they were just going to have to start wandering around at random. That did not sound like it would be a fun thing to do when grass was taller than you were. Unless what Will gave them was a powerful hallucinogenic drug he doubted he would last more than a day out here. None of the saddlebags were in sight, though, and that meant that they must be on the other side of Mavis. Tom hoped that giant monster was supposed to stay asleep for a while longer.

Tom and his friends tried to make their way around Mavis as quickly as they could. They thought Will might have been lying about Mavis at first. The horse had his back to them and it was hard to tell if the horse had been anthropomorphized like the letter said. Then they saw proof of what Will had said as they walked around Mavis' head. His massive equine head was resting on what looked sort of like a hand. There were five fingers like a human had except all of the digits were tipped with what looked like smaller versions of hooves. Everyone tried to stay away from the horse. Mavis looked large enough to swallow all of them at once.

They were relieved to see that the saddlebags came into view as they rounded Mavis' head. There were a lot of them and it looked like it would take the rest of the day to go through all of them. Fortunately, Bobby was able to remember which bag he had placed his compass in and it was laying open on the ground. It was nice that they would not have to climb the bag as if it were some type of mountain. The environment inside that bag was pretty surreal. Tom remembered going to an amusement park one time that had a section to make people feel like they had been shrunken. All the stuff there had seemed pretty fake though. Trying to climb through all the things in the bag was a like nothing Tom had ever experienced. The sheer size of everything in the bag made it clear that they were not going to be able to take the compass with them. If they did not walk straight west then were going to get lost awfully fast.

It only took a few minutes to locate the compass. Bobby had placed it pretty close to the top of the bag and it was a good thing too. The interior of the bag was way to dark to see anything far from the entrance. Even though it was a small compass it would have taken all eight of them to carry the thing. Nobody was willing to do that while they were being pursued though. They saw which direction west was and then they started to exit the bag. Finding the compass had lifted everyone's spirits a bit. "I'm sure this is just a joke," Dan said, "Will would never shrink us and get a killer horse to..."

Dan was never able to finish his sentence. A giant hoof came crashing down on him and the blood spray from his crushed body splashed over everybody else. Tom looked up to see Mavis, standing on two legs, glaring down at him. He thought he was going to lose control of his bladder before he started running. The only other thought that entered Tom's mind at that moment was that he needed to run west. A few of Tom's other friends had thought of that as well and the others were following them out of pure instinct.

Will had said that they would need the rest of the day to reach his antidote. That made Tom laugh. It did not look like they were going to be able to last another hour, needless to say nightfall. Mavis was raising his hoof to try and stomp someone else. When Tom looked up he was able to get a good look at the bloody remains of Dan that were still stuck to the horse's hoof. Tom was surprised when the horse missed stepping on anyone. He missed again and that was when Tom looked at the horse's face and saw that he was smiling. Mavis was toying with them. The horse knew that he could kill everyone here whenever he wanted to and he was just enjoying the thrill of the chase. Paul's clumsiness finally did him in though. Tom was certain that Mavis had not intended to step on Paul when he did, but Paul had tripped on a pebble. Mavis did not have enough time to correct the course of his hoof and Paul wound up as a small red stain in the dirt.

Then Mavis paused. It looked like they were being given a temporary reprieve. By the way Mavis was still smiling at them he doubted that was due to any kindness on his part. It felt more like Mavis just did not want to break any more of his toys before he had an opportunity to have more fun with them. He let them run until they were too tired to move. All he had to do was casually walk behind the shrunken people to keep up with them. When some of them finally started to collapse Mavis finally spoke. "Is that all you've got. I was the one carrying around all your crap today. You should be all rested up and ready to run for your lives. But here you are, as helpless as sheep before a wolf," Mavis taunted in what seemed like a deep booming voice to Tom. Then Tom saw a wicked gleam in the horse's eyes.

"You know what. I think I will play the role of a wolf while you act as the sheep." Mavis reached down and grabbed Bobby and Marcus. "I normally try to avoid meat. It upsets my digestive system. But for guys like you, I think I'll make an exception." Bobby and Marcus were dangled over Mavis' mouth. He did not just drop them straight in his mouth. Mavis licked at their feet as they pleaded for their lives. Then they were dropped in and Tom could see Mavis swishing them around. He looked back down and said, "You guys taste better than you act." Tom thought he could make out Marcus on the tip of Mavis' tongue as he spoke. Then Mavis audibly swallowed and he was sure he would never see Bobby or Marcus again.

That little break and watching Mavis eat a couple of people helped Tom start moving his legs again. He did not pay attention to how the rest of his friends were doing now. It was everyone for themselves. Then Mavis' voice could be heard once more. "My, aren't you one fat little bug." That probably meant Mike had been captured. Tom looked back to see what was happening. Mavis had Mike pinched in between thumb and index finger. By the way Mike was screaming he was being squeezed pretty hard. Then Mike exploded like a grape and Tom nearly vomited. "A juicy one too," said Mavis.

Mavis had already cut the numbers of the group in half. Tom thought he was going to die at any moment and that was the only reason he could keep running. His legs felt like lead and his vision was growing cloudy. A hoof stomped down right in front of him and he ran straight into it. He bounced of the hard object and jumped right back to his feet. Mavis did not step on him, but Tom knew that was only because Mavis did not want to crush him yet. Tom thought Mavis was just toying with him again as he tried to avoid running into hooves placed in his path. Then he found himself running into his remaining friends. Mavis had just herded them back together.

"Well, now it's time to get down to the real fun." Tom wondered what Mavis meant by that. Then he remembered something from Will's letter. According to it Mavis was not only aggressive, but horny as well. Mavis sat down with his legs stretched out. Tom found himself and his friends in a brown furred valley and he did not like the activity he saw going on in Mavis' sheath. Tom, Jason, and Rob huddled together. They knew that if they tried to run all Mavis would have to do to trap them was fold his legs. Then Mavis started to reach for them. Tom remembered what had happened to Mike just a short time ago. The fact that the tips of Mavis' fingers still had some of Mike's remains stuck to them made it hard to forget.

Tom was about to scramble away from the mammoth hand when Jason pushed Rob in the path of the reaching hand. That surprised Tom a little but he was still glad it was not him. Rob was the one that was really surprised. The string of curses he directed toward Jason was truly remarkable. Those curses were soon cut off as Rob was pressed up against Mavis' sheath. Tom knew he should be trying to think of how to escape, but he could only stare at the scene in morbid fascination. Mavis started to massage himself. If Rob was screaming Tom could not hear him over Mavis' moans of pleasure. It soon became apparent that no one would ever hear Rob again. There was a small but noticeable red stain being smeared into Mavis' dark brown fur.

Tom looked around for Jason and saw that he was already running. Mavis seemed too distracted to prevent any get away attempts at the moment so Tom decided to join Jason. He still stayed far enough away from Jason that he would not be able to push him into harms way like he had done to Rob. Tom put all the effort he could into running and he thought he might get away. Then he discovered why Mavis was not trying to prevent his escape. A milky white substance shot past Tom and hit Jason in the back. He was bowled over by the impact after uttering one brief yelp of surprise. Tom did not have time to think about what had just happened as he was hit with another burst of the substance a second later.

Whatever was covering Tom felt thick and sticky to him. When it got in his nose and mouth it made him fell like he was about to drown. He had to swallow what was in his mouth before he could breathe again. When his life was not in immanent danger Tom finally had time to think about what he had just been coated in. It did not take a genius to figure out what had happened. Tom nearly threw up when he thought about how he had just swallowed horse semen. As he tried to free himself of the sticky seed, Tom felt strong fingers wrap around his body.

Tom could feel his bones cracking as he was handled roughly by Mavis. He was still able to look around and see that Mavis had Jason in his other hand. "Looks like it's just the two of you now. I guess I'll have to make the best of you," Mavis sighed. Then he started moving Tom toward the head of his pulsating shaft while Jason was moved to a lower location along the shaft. Tom and Jason tried to plead for their lives, but Tom was sure he was just babbling incomprehensibly.

An odd, musky smell started to overwhelm Tom's senses. He was sure that was the smell of Mavis' arousal. Tom was lifted above the slit in Mavis' cock. He tried to fight against Mavis but his fingers felt as hard as rocks. Mavis rotated Tom around in his grip so he would be able to shove him head first into the dark slit. Tom grabbed the edges of the opening into Mavis' cock to try to keep himself from getting pushed in. In the end, he doubted Mavis even noticed he brief act of resistance as he was effortlessly pushed into the warm and incredibly musky confines of Mavis' shaft. It was hard for Tom to breath and the strong smell was starting to make him fell delirious. Still, he tried his best to escape. Unfortunately for him it was too tight for him to escape and even if it wasn't, the walls of the shaft were too slick for him to gain any purchase. That was probably due to Mavis' previous bit of entertainment.

Tom could feel it when Mavis started pumping his shaft. He had hoped he would end up getting pushed out of the horse's cock. It felt more like he was getting pulled deeper into the cock though. Still, he was probably fairing better than Jason was at the moment. Tom did not doubt that what was left of Jason's body was lubricating Mavis' member at this very moment. The flesh around Tom started to pulsate and a thick liquid started to pool around him. He knew what was going to happen next and he desperately tried to avoid it. That was not much he could do though. Then it happened. Tom was hit by a wave of seed powerful enough to shatter his body. Death came mercifully quick for Tom as his battered and bloody body shot out from Mavis' thick shaft.

Mavis was a little disappointed that all of his playthings were gone. There had to be some other living things in the field for him to toy with, but he was sure they would not bring him the pleasure the bothersome humans had. He had heard the humans reading that letter and he knew he still had a few days until he returned to being a normal horse and he planned to enjoy every minute he had left.
