Again, story has many elements but since it is "Adult" themed it will have content based as such but won't be limited to only this factor. Other than that enjoy the show.

Desperately trying to get toward his parents, Ryan mustered everything he had but it just wasn't enough to escape the pokemon that held him down. "Mother, Father!" Ryan yelled out but with the situation he was in, everything started to look bleak really fast. In this moment, his home was invaded by shrouded strangers. There were two figures that he could not identify who took his parents hostage. One of them was using a knife to slowly cut off his mother's clothing, while cockishly grinning an ugly smile. Pinned down by one of the intruder's Houndoom, Ryan could do nothing but watch the horrors that befell him.

"It's okay son. You still have a duty as a Verrick to continue what I could not." Before finishing his sentence, Ryan's father was struck in the head by the butt of a rifle. "Quiet you stupid son of a bitch! Your son's going to be food before we're done with you! Infact, Houndoom rip that boy's heart out now!"

As commanded, the Houndoom proceeded to snarl while revealing its teeth but, right before its bite could reach Ryan's chest, a brown blur sped through the room ramming itself into the side of Houndoom's face which caused the Houndoom to tumble a few feet away. "Eevee, no! You cant!" Ryan cried out.

His Eevee was Ryan's first pokemon he obtained through his father, Walter which he loved dearly. But, at its current state of health it wasn't in the best position to pull a stunt of rescue. None the less, even with a bullet wound that pierced one of her lungs, Eevee continued to fight for her best friend. But before it could do any more, it was shot once again by one of the intruders with a rifle. Breathing its last few breaths, it laid on the ground staring at Ryan with a small smile but as the wounds began to catch up, Eevee closed her eyes for the last time.

Completely in shock and in distress Ryan couldn't bear the pain any longer. Reaching his hand out to Eevee, he passed out lifeless as a corpse. "Ryan! Ryan!" Marien his mother cried out but everything was beginning to end. Walter watched as his wife was struck in the neck by a blade quickly extinguishing any life remaining in her eyes. With only one desperate chance, he took it. While the intruders were laughing and enjoying the scene, Walter grabbed the nearest intruder by the legs and flipped him as hard as he could.

With all the strength Ryan's father could muster ontop of his raging fury, he made sure the bastard cracked his head open by landing on the nearest hard table made of volcanic glass. Grabbing the rifle, he pointed at the second intruder managing to squeeze a few bursts but not coming out unscathed. Before the second intruder was shot, he managed to plunge the knife into Walter's abdomen before being blasted away. With the last ounces of his strength, he unloaded everything he had at the Houndoom that was beginning to recover thus saving what was left of his family. Slowly crawling toward his son's lifeless body, he ripped off his metallic necklace which was a special item only given to one of the best Rangers in the sector. (Rangers are specialized artifact hunters that prioritize helping pokemon as well as solving public crisis involving pokemon or at times even people.)

Knowing his time was few, Walter tapped a few buttons on his watch that connected to his Pidgeot's communicator. "Old friend, I-I don't have long and I know you're on a mission but hurry home. Please... save my son.... this is my last wish as your friend and mentor." Noticing his vision starting to fade, he unstrapped his watch and placed it within Ryan's pocket. Feeling some form of success Walter hoped his son would forgive him for being a weak father. After a few short moments Walter closed his eyes and joined Marien in the afterlife.

"Ryan wake up. You know its not the time to be lying around now don't you? You got a job to do my boy." Slowly but surely, 16 year old Ryan J. Verrick awoke from his slumber. Panicking at the sudden appearance of his grandfather after a nightmare, he quickly rolled to the side, brushing himself off the floor.

Shaking his head, Ryan responded. "Ahh gramps why the sudden brick wall? As much as I enjoy seeing your face in the morning its only 4:35! You could atleast do me the favor and give me oh four extra hours! Bah, whatever I just hope you got breakfast downstairs waiting for me." After some arguing with his grandfather, Ryan cleaned himself up and headed downstairs.

"Ryan after your chowtime I want you to take Sheryl and give her a walk. She's been quite depressed lately and its heart breaking to see her so down. Maybe you can light a spark in those old eyes again." Spooning more eggs into his mouth, Ryan muffled a reply. As usual, after finishing his breakfast he placed the dishes into the sink, washing them casually while staring out the window.

"Damn, I can't believe I had this nightmare again. Its been 5 damn years and I still can't shake the thoughts that cloud my head." Looking at his watch, he quickly thumbed his necklace trying to ease out the memories that laid in his mind. Sheryl an Arcanine who was resting nearby sensed Ryan's depression. Walking toward him, she gave him a few licks on his left hand.

"Alright old girl, lets go for a walk." Opening the doors of his grandfather's home, he stepped out into a somewhat bright morning. The sun was still barely over the horizon but it was enough to make out the path. At his current position, Ryan was settled deep within the mountains away from the major cities and populace. Going from a slow walk to a light jog, Ryan was glad to have Sheryl by him. "I know you've been sad lately but give my old man some credit. He may not be as athletic as he use to but atleast he tries." Keeping some distance between himself and Sheryl, Ryan continues to jog down the path. "I'm sorry I'm not the best replacement for the old man lets just finish up this morning routine."

Trekking for a few miles and back, he let Sheryl back into the house. "Gramps I'm heading out now! Sheryl's back inside so don't worry about anything! I'll probably be a bit late today but if you need anything call me!"

With a loud A-OKAY from his grandfather, Ryan opened up the door a bit to pull off a small vest and an old cowboy hat from a clothes rack. Needing some time to think he headed toward a deserted place where he knew he could get his mind together before starting a day.
