#2 of Poetry

One of my older poems, I'm quite certain that this was written around the same time as I began to read Lewis Carrol. Not overly pleased with it's lack of structure, but I still like the rhythm that it has.


Hoods and Flight

Venturing through the wood,

I think of the things that could,

In summer wear a hood.

The boy said that he should,

Yet his sister said only if we would.

_ _

The snake wiffled his reply,

As he was preoccupied with a sigh,

That we all had to be extremely high.

And snake alone with his sigh,

_ Took wing and began learning to fly_
