Ra confirmed his final plan with his general, Herep and he had been listening to their little songbird Stratus for the past hour and had learned many of Anubis's secrets. Herep grinned as Stratus finished explaining the last of the secrets that he knew, "Very good little songbird, now why don't you go to the other little birds?" The falcon grinned in pleasure at solving his master and ran off to join the harem of birds in the side room. Ra looked at his general in pleasure, "This is very good my general, not only have we found Anubis's hideout but we also know of their plans." Herep nodded, "My master shall I send out a force to deal with Anubis?" Ra smiled and shook his head, "Not just yet my minion, I have something to obtain before we fight Anubis." The god turned around and smiled, "I am going to find the legendary Ankh." Herep cocked his head in confusion, "The Ankh my lord?"

Ra clenched his hand tightly in front of his face as if he were already holding the weapon, "Yes my servant, the Ankh the Ankh that was wielded by the king of gods. I know where it is now, and soon when I wield it I will become the most powerful deity in the universe!" He shouted out in excitement, Herep bowed before his god. "Shall I go get it for you my lord?" Ra shook his head, "The Ankh has been hidden extremely well, not only that but it has been protected by spells that I even shudder at."

Herep nodded, "Shall I guard the palace while you do that than my lord?" Ra nodded, "I will be back within' the hour my servant." The god stood and walked to a doorway and opened his hand and sand flew out of it, as the sand spread across the doorway a world appeared in the raining sand. The god glanced back, "Make sure to keep this place protected general or I shall have your head."

Herep nodded and turned around to leave from the room, as Ra stepped through the sand he shivered at the feeling of entering another god's world. Ra took a quick glance around to make sure he knew where he was, as he tread through the sand filled world a large pyramid rose before him. "Ah Bast you were always full of a sense of grandeur weren't you?" The Falcon headed god walked through the entrance and looked around the pyramid, as Ra walked further in he heard the sound of hissing. "Ah Bast, you honor me with your presence." The Falcon headed god smiled as a voluptuous cat woman walked out from the shadows, "Ra you know you are not allowed in my world without my permission, what brings you here?" Ra put on his sweetest smile, "My dear Bast your fur looks more radiant every time I see you." Bast did her best to look offended but she took a moment to run her eyes over his pelt before glaring back at him, "So Ra, why do you approach me in that human skin instead of your own?" Ra grimaced, "You know very well why I can't Bast, that damn Anubis sealed away my spiritual body." Bast smiled, "Oh yeah, Anubis with his spells... now there's a god who could hold his own in a battle..." Ra seethed, "Bast quit stalling, you know very well why I am here." Bast's eyes flashed dangerously, "Indeed I do know why you are here and for that reason am I here to stop you from getting anywhere near the Ankh." Ra laughed, "Bast this may be your home but I have always been a stronger god than you." Bast grinned, "That is true Ra but I have one thing that you lack." Ra's eyes narrowed, "What could you possibly have that would give you such an advantage?" Bast grinned showing off a set of leopard's teeth, she slowly pulled a Ankh out of her dress. "Why the legendary Ankh." Ra's eyes widened in horror, "Bast you wouldn't dare, as the guardian you would never use it." Bast laughed spitefully, "Believe me Ra I wouldn't be using this unless I knew that I had to, but with you I'm willing to break a few rules." As she held the Ankh her body started to glow with a golden aura, "Ra I will smite you from this universe once and for all!" Ra dodged to the side as a golden bolt shot out of her open hand, "Damn! With the Ankh I can't get near that damned cat!" Bast laughed manically, "Come out little birdy! The kitty has a little present for you." Ra thought it over for a few minutes before realizing something, "Hey Bast I heard that your ex-boyfriend dumped you!" Bast's laughing suddenly stopped, "Wh... where did you hear that?" Ra released a sigh of relief, "It's a good thing that Bast's relations never last long..." He muttered to himself before shouting out, "It was Anubis, he told me that your ex called you the ugliest rug he had ever had the pleasure of dating!" The Falcon god heard the cat cursing in ancient Egyptian, "That.... That disgusting crocodile I swear I will make him into a crocodile skin purse!" Ra grinned, "Anubis told me one other thing that I thought you might find interesting!" The cat god became quiet, "What did he say about me?" Ra took a deep breath and for the first time in his godly life he crossed his fingers, "He told me that he would rather date me than you any year of a millennium." Bast went deadly silent, Ra could feel her malice piercing his very core. "Ra come out here right now..." The Falcon god took a deep breath and slowly walked out from behind his hiding spot, he could see the goddess shivering in pure rage. As he stepped up behind her she slowly turned around, Ra noticed that her eyes were burning with a deadly red. "I want you to kill Anubis, at all costs." She slowly hissed out, Ra's eyes glinted in excitement then he decided to push for his final goal. "Well Bast if I'm to beat that conceited dog then there's only one thing that can help me beat him." Bast looked down at the Ankh in her hand, after debating with herself for a moment she looked him straight in the eyes. "If I give this to you then you'd better demolish his atoms completely, do you understand me Falcon?" Ra nodded and contained his joy as she handed the Ankh to him, after a moment of gloating he looked back to the cat god who was turning around to go blow off some steam. "I just wanted to thank you Bast for giving me this before I ended you." Bast started to turn around as she realized what he insinuated, but before she could complete the turn Ra blasted the cat goddess away.

"It's a shame Bast; I truly believed that you were a great girlfriend. But it's a shame that your temper was so... catty." Ra kicked her ashes and walked away, as he left the pyramid he heard the building crumble away behind him. Without the goddess the whole dimension itself was crumbling away, Ra barely waved his hand and watched in satisfaction as a door appeared. As he stepped through the portal without his power being there to support the world it simply imploded behind him. Ra smiled as he stepped out of the portal to find his general waiting for him, Herep bowed as his leader stepped into the room. "Are you ready for the invasion my lord?" Ra smiled as he raised the Ankh in his hand, "Don't worry about that my general I have it taken care of." The god closed his eyes and used the Ankh to send himself to Anubis's hideout; he found some magical barriers but was easily able to bypass them with his Ankh. As he floated in he found a small human walking down the hallway, the human glanced up and saw the godly aura and his jaw dropped. "Perfect... a test subject for my new powers..." Ra muttered, the human let out a brief scream before he hit the teenager with a burst of his powers to transform him. The human immediately started to grow and become one of his Falcon soldiers but instead of stopping at that he grew into a brute of a warrior. Ra's eyes widened in satisfaction, "Amazing... well I'd better give this monster an order." He thought over what he'd say for a second then decided on his words, "Go my guardian, hunt the jackals." Ra heard a gasp from the side and noticed a jackal coming out of a room, he grinned in satisfaction as his new pet ran down the hall towards the jackal who ran away from him. Ra followed his pet as it ran down the halls following the Jackal. After a while it finally reached the main area, he noticed that his pet ran into an invisible barrier. As Ra watched his pet quickly recover he heard Anubis, "Unless Ra found the Ankh..." Ra decided to make his presence known, "Bravo Anubis, you hit the stake right on the end. Indeed I have found the Ankh, not only have I found it but I've put it to good use as I'm sure you've seen." He could feel Anubis's irritation, "Ra you're trespassing into magic beyond you." Ra laughed a deep laugh, "Anubis you don't seem to understand, this magic was made for the king of the gods. I believe it fits perfectly for me, seeing as once I defeat you and claim the world I'll become the king." Anubis shouted in anger, "You are going to destroy yourself Ra!" Ra started to fade away, "I'm sorry my old friend but it seems that I have more important things to attend to, my guardian destroy the barrier and Anubis." He caught a glimpse of the monstrous falcon break through the magical barrier. *************************************************************************************

Herep grinned as he watched his king's eyes open, "Welcome back my lord." Ra opened his eyes with a grin of satisfaction, "Anubis has been taken care of, soon enough I shall feel his presence leave this world. Now I will take a brief rest before I announce it to all of my followers." Herep nodded and smiled, "Alright I shall take my leave my king." Ra waved his hand dismissing his servant, Herep smiled as he walked down the hall. All of his followers bowed to him as he passed by them, they didn't know yet that their king had won. "Soon this whole world will be ours... I cannot wait..." He sniggered in pleasure, as he walked out into the main hall he grinned at all of Ra's followers. But before he could say anything the front door slammed open, Herep's beak dropped in complete astonishment as he saw a Jackal standing there. Not just any Jackal but Anubis's general. "Come out and play Ra!" The other general shouted out, Herep was filled with a pure rage. "How dare you dog!" Herep walked quickly towards the Jackal, "You dare have the impudence to attack us, not only that but alone?! You insult our honor you dirty fucking dog!" The Jackal had the gall to smile, "No I don't dare to fight your whole army, I dare to fight you." The words took a second to click in Herep's mind then a smile spread across his face, "Fight me?" What you ask is suicide little doggy." The other general seemed to be hesitating before continuing on, "I have a challenge, if you beat me in a battle then I will submit to Ra and become a member of your army. Though if I win then you are to order your army to let go of their bonds to Ra."

All of the Falcon's behind Herep shouted their disagreement, Herep rose his arm and quieted all of their shouts. "I accept your challenge dog, I'm sure you will enjoy being my master's bitch!" Herep slowly crouched down getting into a fighting position, he watched as the obnoxious Jackal mirrored him with a grin on his face. "Prepare to lose you overblown Falcon." The pair quickly ran at each other starting the match. As the match started Herep could feel Ra poking into his mind to watch the fight with interest, as the fight continued Herep could feel the Jackal's punches striking home with shocking power. As he gasped with pain he could feel Ra's displeasure, he pushed himself harder than he ever had before. Herep could see the pain gathering on the jackal's face. As he felt his body starting to give out he knew that if he failed that Ra would punish him beyond measure, he took a desperate gambit and threw one last punch with all of his strength. For a moment he thought he was going to miss but he noticed that instead of dodging the punch the Jackal practically jumped into the path of the punch. Herep watched as the Jackal's body crumpled under the weight of the punch, he quickly grabbed the Jackal by the back of the head and started to drag him along the room. Herep heard the jaunting of his fellow Falcons at the dog behind him, usually he would cheer with them but he felt something was off about the whole thing. As he entered Ra's chambers the Falcon god was already waiting for him. "Congratulations my general, you hav..." But before the god could continue Herep hastily interrupted the god, "One second my lord something is off about this whole thing." Ra's eye's narrowed dangerously, "What do you mean my general." The god spat the last word out obviously displeased being interrupted, "Well my lord it seems too convenient, the general of the other army coming to our headquarters just before our invasion." Ra nodded slowly, "I see what you mean... I think we should hurry our invasion... send out your men right now Herep, I'll take care of the dog." Herep nodded and ran out of the room, Ra grinned down at the Jackal. "Are you ready general? It's time for you to become one of my pawns, oh and what a part you'll play..." ************************************************************************************* Anubis's eyes widened with dread as he witnessed an awful sight before him, the archeological site was completely filled with Ra's army. "H... how did Ra get here before us?!" He exclaimed as he and Becker witnessed Ra walked out of the center of the congregation holding a table in his hand, "Ah Ra there you are, I was wondering when you were going to get here." Out from behind him spread some of his followers, Herep and Stratus both took a step out. On the other side stepped out a Falcon warrior and Derek's boyfriend stepped out with one of the guardians' beside him. "Do you recognize each of these Falcon's Anubis? Each of them were somebody that you failed to save..." The Falcon god smiled, he pointed to each of the birds. "Herep you never met as a human but you should've been a better guardian of the temple. Stratus you should've been keeping a closer eye on, this Falcon here this was the human known as Isaac. Finally this pair here was Derek and Derek's boyfriend."

Anubis cursed in anger as he watched Ra stroke each of their head's in kind, "Now Anubis you finally pay for all of that torture that you put me through." Anubis gritted his teeth in anger, "How do you plan to do that Ra?" He asked, Ra smiled and gestured at the table. "This is the picture that you used to seal me away, now I was wondering what I could do with it and then I had the perfect idea. What if I were to change it from a picture of me... into you?"

As the Falcon spoke he waved his hand over the picture and it glowed as it changed from Ra's likeness into that of a Jackal. "Tada, meet my new stand in Anubis." Anubis gaped in horror, "Y... you wouldn't Ra." Ra grinned, "Oh but I would my old friend. Say hi to all of my old friends, I'm sure they'll be glad to meet you." Ra burned the table away and Anubis suddenly felt a burning sensation and the Jackal burned away where he stood. All of Anubis's army's eyes widened in horror as they watched the god burn away, Ra then brought up the Ankh and held it out. A golden light extended from it to all of the Jackals, all of their eyes changed from a normal color to a golden color. They all bowed to him, "Our lord Ra, we shall follow you." Ra grinned as he watched all of them start to take on Falcon like qualities.

One Month Later

Herep grinned as he looked out at the world in front of him, in the month that had followed Anubis's defeat Ra had taken over the whole world. All of the governments that had stood against the great Ra army were quickly dismantled, some gods had come to try to help out the humans but they stood no chance against the Ankh. Ra had made all of the world into his likeness, many of the great landmarks of the world had been changed to honor Ra. Herep had been at his side at all times during the war, now at the finale of Ra's battle he watched as the world's leaders bowed to his master. Ra grinned as he was worshipped by some his worst enemies. Ra stood before the world and gave a malicious grin, "Welcome to my new world slaves. Now it is time for us to spread beyond this world, it's time to take over my world." His army cheered their agreement, Ra smiled as he opened up a huge arch leading into his world. "Now go my army and claim that world for me as well." The army ran into the arch of sand to take the world for their master with Herep and Ra at its head.
