Azura the Fox
Azura the fox barely smiles and almost always appears sad. She isolates herself from other. She is rarely happy. Though it may not seem like it, a playful young fox hides with in her. A fox that wants to hugged and cuddled with out having to ask. She wasn't always this lonely. She was bullied until the end of grade seven, starting grade eight in a new school. She started making ...friends. People knew her as a happy boy that smiled a lot. She went to this school until halway through grade 11 when she moved to a city and had to switch to a new school. She made new friends. These friends were better than the old ones. They accepted her and treated her better than her old friends did. They said she was beautiful ad helped her become who she was. Helped her to realise that she wasn't a boy. She realised she was a girl. Azura the fox moved back out of the city during summer break and went back to her old school for grade twelve, excited to be seeing her old friends. But things changed for her at school. People called her a boy even though she stated that male pronouns made her uncomfortable. People she thought were her friends laughed when they saw her in girls clothing. They thought she was trying to be funny, but in truth, she was trying to be herself. They didn't care. Now they wonder why she isolates herself, why she seems sad all the time. They wonder why the fox wants nothing to do with them.
They wonder why she seems so lonely.
